Stripping down my skincare: organic healing
I want to use this platform to share my journey with you. I am a compulsive picker and plucker. It was a response to how emotionally scared my teen years left me. My skin erupted in cystic acne and I didn’t know how to heal myself. Instead I layered on heavy foundation (sooo cakey!) and responded with harsh chemicals that I didn’t fully understand. In addition to that, I PLUCKED my eyebrows so severely that I am still working to grow them back. When I would get anxious, I’d respond by picking at my skin and plucking my hair. This would only leave me feeling worse, when I’d see the outcome of those unhealthy behaviors. It’s been a long journey to undo the effects and habits of my past, but I’m happy to say that my current beauty routines are designed to celebrate myself, rather than punish myself! I know so many people tout caster oil, but let. me. tell. you! I saw results a month into using the oil on my brows. Before buying any over the top products filled with chemicals, try out natural oils and healthy beauty habits (like clean eating!) Over the next few weeks, I will be sharing what habits have worked best for my lifestyle change, and why going organic was one of the best decisions of my life pura d'or - Castor Oil Includes Bonus Brush Kit 100% Pure USDA Organic

Apple cider vinegar: 2 week check-in
I started my mornings with a cup of warm water, a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, and a splash of lemon juice. Jennifer Aniston says that this is the secret to aging gracefully and maintaining a healthy metabolism. ACV is also noted to help with bacterial and fungal acne, as well as brighten complexion. There are so many documented properties of the ACV cleanse (some researched and some a matter of opinion.) But here are the changes I saw: less puffiness improved skin brightness better skin texture more energy my gut felt healthier *I did not see as much change in my acne as I’d hoped, but I was also on my period the past week, and consumed a more sugary diet :( I really want to continue this process to see what the longer term benefits provide for me and my body. Also it was so refreshing to replace my cup of morning coffee for a cup of ACV. I felt refreshed and healthy.. and the ACV didn’t hit my gut as hard as my acidic morning coffee usually does. If you plan on doing this yourself, I recommend keeping the ACV to water ratio low, and not consuming more than 2 tablespoons of ACV, as the acidity could burn your oesophagus. ACV has acetic acid, which neutralizes the PH of your gut. But you definitely want to water that stuff down. (Also it’s super gross straight up, so why torture yourself?) All in all, I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a homeopathic method of improving your overall skin health. Let me know if you end up trying this, and how it works for you!
Apple cider vinegar and lemon juice cleanse
For the next two weeks, I will be starting my mornings with a glass of water, lemon juice, and a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar. This is the beginning of my journey :) the drink is supposed to clean out your gut and liver from toxins, which appear on your skin in the form of acne, redness, or other issues. It is also supposed to help with texture and brightness. I’ll keep y’all posted on the results in 2 weeks! :) SEE THE RESULTS IN MY LATEST POST :)
💅Paint Your Nails PERFECTLY at Home
Today Im gonna share my fully process, STEP-BY-STEP at home manicure with you guys. starting out, you will need to get your nail polish off (if you have some left) Started out, I would take 100% acetone where you can get at almost everywhere. I got mine at Walmart with great deal. I found that acetone takes nail polish off the easiest. Make sure you get your nails moisturized. After I get my cuticles softened and trimmed, I would use a buff to buff off the sharp edges and to get the perfect shape that I want. Then it’s time to move on to my base coat. I am using this base coat from Revlon that I get in drugstore years ago. It’s supper affordable and I personally don’t have any preferences on nail polish branding. If you know one that’s really working fantastic, let me know I want to try something different. REVLON - Quick Dry Base Coat *TIP # 1 * Paint your dominant hand first. I am left handed, so I usually paint my left hand first. Because it is hard to control non-dominant hand when you are doing everything by yourself. *TIP # 2 * Dab in the middle in the center first, slowly go down and then repeat across the entire nail. Let that dry completely before moving to the next step. *TIP # 3 * If you want to test whether it’s dried or not, don’t touch it. Instead, press them against each other. If they feel sticky, it’s still not set. Normally 5 minutes Repeat the same step to paint the first coat of nail polish. Normally I would do at least 2 - 3 coat to get the perfect radiance.essie - Longwear Nail Polish Finish up with a thin layer of top coat.L.A. COLORS - L.A. COLORS Top Coat Wait at least 30 minutes before touching water after you are completely finished.

I did my liner wrong for almost 10 years 🤯
I just wanna start by saying I don’t think there’s right or wrong when it comes to makeup! I think it all comes down to personal preference, makeup is an art and art is subjective! 🥳 Nevertheless I do think there are makeup techniques and different styles that compliment my features better. I’m always talking about how hooded my eyelids are, and well, they’re very hooded lol but it took me a long time to actually realize why didn’t the makeup I was trying to recreate from magazines look like the photos, and the reason iiiiis... I have hooded eyes! Cat eye liner just doesn’t look good on me. It was only when I discovered I had hooded eyes as a young adult to actually look for liner techniques, tips and tricks that would fit my eye shape better. I found my preferred style in Asian makeup. It turns out monolid makeup also works great on my hooded eyes since I have very little visible lid space. I stopped trying to do classic cat eye liner on myself and instead opted for “puppy liner”, which follows the natural shape of the eye and extends it outwards rather than upwards if that makes sense! I feel this type of liner compliments my eyes better and you can actually see it when I have my eyes relaxed since I do a thinner line now rather than going heavy with the liner ☺️ I also switched to a brush pen tip liner which is easier to maneuver in my opinion and better if you’re not so skilled with liner like myself! #CheriePartner
PRODUCT: Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask STATUS: Still love it 💕 PRICE: $46 CAD / $36 USD SIZE: 237 mL WHERE: Sephora This review will be short and sweet… I have loved Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask for a long time. It is packed with oils (Argan Oil, Almond Oil, Avocado Oil, Rosehip Oil), provitamin B5, aloe, calendula, hydrolyzed keratin, algae extract and aloe; all hair loving ingredients that nourish and promote health rather than cover up damage. Currently, I use this mask once per week. I apply for 10 min, after shampooing and then rinse. It leaves my hair beautifully soft and very lightly scented. Unlike silicone packed conditioners, it doesn’t weight down my hair or cause it to get greasy extra fast. Is it an absolute game changer? Sadly no, and that’s why it hasn’t achieved HG status for me, but it is great in conjunction with other products for routine maintenance and I will absolutely continue to buy/include it in my routine.
You must try it if you are a LAZY girl!👇

rael microneedle acne healing patches
key ingredients: tea tree oil/totarol - tea tree oil is a natural antiseptic with antibacterial and anti inflammatory properties that both soothe and heal skin. totara bark extract, nature’s super antioxidant, is 3 times as strong as vitamin e at fading scars effectively quickly. salicylic acid - salicylic acid is proven to be an effective skin care ingredient because of the way it penetrates into the skin and dissolves any debris inside your pores. it’s also naturally derived from willow bark which is known to heal and soothe skin. this acid can also help with any inflammation and redness of a blemish. hyaluronic acid - hyaluronic acid keeps damaged skin moisturized and helps prevent any over-drying (over-drying is bad for blemishes and can actually make them worse because of the irritation it causes) or scaling while the skin heals. what it claims to do: this product claims to reduce any inflammation and redness with microneedle technology. these patches are designed with tiny microneedles that prick the skin (don’t worry it doesn’t hurt at all!), allowing the active ingredients to dive deeper into the skin. this product is recommended for any below the skin pimples that don’t have a head. my experience: i had an under the skin pimple that i was bugging me, so i decided to buy these patches and use them on it. i had high hopes for this product but sadly i was disappointed by the fact that i’ve used up about 5-6 patches (the patches were from a different packet, not the ones in the 2nd slide) and i woke up each time to find that my blemish was the same. i did notice that the patches did seem to reduce the redness, not by much though. it also left a clear, slimy residue where i left the patch on, but i think that’s because the needles melted. however, despite the fact that these patches didn’t work for me, i’ve seen and read many positive reviews that these actually worked for them and overnight as well! they’ve also claimed that the size and redness was reduced by at least 70%. if you are wondering whether you should purchase these or not, i would say yes. even though they didn’t work on me, it’s important to keep in mind that everybody’s skin is different and that these might work wonders for you!
