Probably many people will not agree with me about this brand, but my opinion is based on my personal experience. I have always read very positive reviews about Bliss products, I have to accept that the packaging seems beautiful and simple, and that gave those reviews a plus. bliss - Mighty Marshmallow Mask

HannyMaierNo. But the above review only reinforces my belief in reading the ingredients first, before you put a product on your skin. Fragrance is a dead giveaway to not use that product. Also look for deceiving info like “oils”. Lavender oil, citrus oil, or any oil. It’s sad that we really can’t trust just any product because you almost need to be a chemist to understand the product information.

On Wednesdays we use
Lots of pretty pink products!! method - Pure Peace Body Wash LOVE this stuff. Smells amazing. Slightly moisturizing. Makes a great bubble bath. Under $10 eos - eos Shave Cream, Pomegranate This isn’t my favorite shave cream. It seems that it can clog your razor up and leave goopy chunks of cream all over. It just doesn’t rinse away completely enough. #Dr Teals - Pink Himalayan Salt Scrub[products]#[FiveStars] another favorite for winter. Gets all the rough spots off elbows and knees. Don’t use for self tanning though as it contains oils. pmd - pmd Clean Pro I use this cause it feels good in my face and it’s easily sanitized otherwise what does it even do that I couldn’t do just washing with my hands? I truly don’t know. schmidt's - Rose + Vanilla Natural Deodorant This is the best natural deodorant I’ve tried so far. It has like a dry clay feel so it doesn’t make your armpits damp feeling and really soaks up sweat. Smells divine. Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid I have maturing, dryish skin. I can’t even figure out what this is meant to do. I’ve tried using it alone. As primer. As a highlight after makeup. Mixing it in. Tried a dozen things and I’ve been underwhelmed every single time. bliss - Mighty Marshmallow Mask Nice, basic mask. Not going to wow you. Gives your skin a wee boost. A more awake look. Can be a bit drying IMO. MILANI - Rose Butter Lip Mask Smells good. Looks pretty. The texture is really nice and creamy. But my lips aren’t buying it. It soaks right in and the flakes are still hanging around. MILANI - Rose Sugar Lip Scrub The smell is overpowering for me and the scrub is very abrasive. It smells like you are eating roses.
This mask is A-mask-ing.. haha.. ha 😂
Hope you enjoyed a lil terrible humor moment. Now, for the mask, the bliss - Mighty Marshmallow Mask , i absolutely love it, point blank period. This mask contains marshmallow root extract, vitamin c blend, olive leaf extract, lime, lemon, pine, and eucalyptus oils, and zinc pca. The specific benefits of each can be found on the product description on their website. Basically, all of these ingredients come together to hydrate, prevent dullness, combat uneven skin tone, reduce excess oil, and calm. Right up my alley i would say! As someone with oily skin, dark marks, uneven skin tone, i gravitate towards masks like this. And honestly, if you’ve been on the journey to find a good mask, you’ll run into a lot of “hoopla” a lot of talkers with no bite. But this one does what is says it will do! (For me at least) After every use, my skin feels so smooth and hydrated. And the scent is very subtle but super relaxing. The consistency of the mask is so smooth and buttery which I love, and it doesn’t dry your skin down like some masks do. I also appeared less oily after using, and throughout the day, did not produce as much oil as usual. Finally, my skin does appear more radiant and “awake” after I use. In terms of uneven skin tone, i will review that aspect later. I have only used the mask for about a week consistently, so I don’t have concrete answers on that one just yet. I do see increased smoothness in my skin, but that could be the placebo effect, we shall see. Final thoughts: i would definitely recommend this mask! If you are into masks, this is a great, non intensive mask to consider adding to your collection. It is soft as a marshmallow, has a beautifully subtle scent, and leaves my skin feeling refreshed and hydrated. Thanks for reading! 💖💖 i hope this helps you in your skin journey - Jas

Brand Spotlight: BLISS
Bliss is one of my favorite affordable drugstore clean and cruelty free brand. They are easily accessible, you find them at: Ulta, CVS, Target and Bliss.com, etc. I can’t help but love everything that I’ve tried from them. Here are current favorites and must haves: Left to right: bliss - Clear Genius Clarifying Toner + Serum A mixture between toner and serum this is an awesome toner that is alcohol free, vegan, and packed with skin calming and pore refining ingredients : BHA, niacinamide, zinc and cica. bliss - Bright Idea Vitamin C + Tri-Peptide Collagen Protecting & Brightening Moisturizer My day/ night cream depending on my mood and what serums I’m using. Sinks in the skin well and has great texture. bliss - Drench & Quench Moisturizer This is comparable to TATCHA - The Water Cream very lightweight but pack a lot of moisture. It leaves my skin feeling a bit tacky which I love as a base before my primer and make up. bliss - Rose Gold Rescue Moisturizer All times favorite basic moisturizer for day and night. I usually use this when either my skin has a break out and I have to go back to basics or when I’m using retinol or some other harsh serums. bliss - Renew & Smooth Night Serum If you are new to glycolic acids or AHAs this is a great beginner’s choice. For me I thought this quite a gentle formula... I didn’t feel any discomfort or irritation. bliss - Fabulips Lip Scrub This is my first lip scrub... so I don’t know if it’s good or not. It’s not bad. It’s moisturizing, exfoliating and didn’t taste bad. 😋 Clean product: 🌱No Parabens 🌱No Alcohol 🌱No Sulfates 🌱No Nuts 🌱No Oils 🌱No Silicones 🐰Cruelty Free 🐰 Vegan Have you tried any of their product? Fall-Winter Nights Moisturizing Edit
bliss - Renew & Smooth Night Serum If you are new to glycolic acids or AHAs this is a great beginner’s choice. For me I thought this quite a gentle formula... I didn’t feel any discomfort or irritation. The gelly consistency feels really nice on my skin and the formula absorbs quickly into the skin. I have been applying this nightly on cleanse skin and allow the product to completely absorb and dry before applying other serums and oils. ✅✅✅Super Clean & 🐰Cruelty Free Bliss products are also made without: PARABENS • SLS/SLES • ADDED PHTHALATES • FORMALDEHYDE OR FORMALDEHYDE DONORS • TRICLOSAN • TRICLOCARBAN • PETROLATUM • TALC • NPE (NONYLPHENOL ETHOXYLATE) • BHA (BUTYLATED HYDROXYANISOLE) • BHT (BUTYLATED HYDROXYTOLUENE) • HYDROQUINONE • PLASTIC MICRO-BEADS The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Squalane I’ve been loving this squalane serum on my face and body this month. I have eczema on my face, neck and arms and omg guys... This is so light weight and it absorbs instantaneously! So far I’m just happy that it soothes the irritations (eczema) and give my skin an extra layer of moisture where I need it most. Clean product: 🌱No Parabens 🌱No Alcohol 🌱No Sulfates 🌱No Nuts 🌱No Oils 🌱No Silicones 🐰Cruelty Free 🐰 Vegan COSRX - Low pH BHA Overnight Mask This is ultra moisturizing. It has the consistency of Vaseline and ointment cream.. so use sparingly. Half a pea- size is more than enough for the entire face and neck area. Even though it is very moisturizing and goes on quite thick— give it a few minutes and it’ll sink in like a dream. I use this overnight mask once or twice a week/ when I really feel like my face just need that extra boost and glow in the morning. This is a staple product in my travel bag! Gorgeous product! I ordered mine from ULTA but you can also order them on Amazon, Soko glam, Cosrx, etc. This product is also 🐰cruelty free. Please let me know if you have any recommendations for eczema relief below. Thank you. Be Kind, Stay Beautiful
NEW BEAUTY BUYS
Hello hello ✨🥰 Today I picked up a few new goodies and I’m soo excited to try them. So far I’ve tried the LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cleanser and i love the clean feeling i get without it feelings overly stripping!! Good cleanser for a good price ($15) I’m going to try out the other products and give updates on my thoughts. If you have any suggestions for new products I should try or things you’d like to see me try feel free to pitch them to me 😘❤️ UPDATE: i have used The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution twice now once last night and once this morning. I definitely notice a glow in my skin as well as my face not being dry after washing it. It gives my face a smooth texture as well. I love it! too cool for school - Rules of Mastic IX Enhancer Recovery Balm this has a very smooth cream consistency. It’s very light weight and gives good moisture so i like this one as well. I’ll be doing more research on the ingredients. Bio-Oil - Multiuse Skincare Oil I got this in hopes to repair my skin and get rid of my scarring left behind from acne. So far i like it. It’s a very light weight oil that doesn’t leave me looking too greasy for everyday wear. bliss - What a Melon Water Jelly Hydrator for Combination Skin This reminds me a lot of the Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer Which is definitely a favorite of mine. It got it on sale from Target for $6 so i decided to give it a try. It has nice fragrance and a very hydrating feel due to it being a gel consistency.
A beautiful mistake
Do you ever look at all your skincare products and just obsess over the colors and textures?!? 🌈 I sure do 🙋♀️ BUT...I’ve learned quickly that while yes, this is one of my favorite pictures I’ve taken, I also made a BIG MISTAKE!! 🚫 I used to get so excited (well, still do) when a new product arrived in my possession that I opened it immediately. I wanted to see and feel the beauty inside, and get it on my face!!! Well, every single product has a little thing called an EXPIRATION DATE! In opening up a new jar I am literally setting a clock which is usually 6-12 months before I have to use it up. And when you have so many moisturizers or masks open there is no possible way to use them all up in that time frame. I’d have to be masking several times a day! 🤦♀️ Every product you receive will have TWO DATES: * The expiration date without opening the package & * The expiration of the product once it’s been opened —————— What I do now is: 1) show some SELF-CONTROL 😂 2) Date each package as it arrives - I take a black marker and date the box so I don’t forget how long it’s possibly been in my possession. This was usually the case when I was getting so many subscription boxes as there would be so many, let’s say cleansers, that were adding up that I knew it would be some time before getting to them. 3) Date the product when opened - I usually find a discreet place to mark the day I opened it as I will probably be photographing it several times and don’t want the date showing ————— This seems simple and obvious but I urge you to really pay attention to your expiration dates. I’ve already had some I’ve had to sideline as they’ve expired. Also cutting back on my purchases and cancelling my sub boxes has made a difference. It’s exciting getting new products but there can be a level of overabundance! I’m definitely trying to be more conscious of my ‘needs’ and not my ‘wants’. 😉 Do you spot any favorites? All products should be reviewed individually in previous posts but let me know if there is one you’d like to hear about. Peace and health to all ❤️my @cheriefamily 🍒😘 #CherieCreator

FARMACY-Honeymoon Glow Serum
Today’s morning routine 1. Z Natural Life Energizing Facial Mask. I left this on for an excessively long time, and after washing it off my skin felt supple and moisturized 😱. This is unlike other mud masks because it contains natural oils so it’s a lot more moisturizing than you would expect. 2. Insta Naturals Brightening Serum - still testing this little guy out. I’m concerned that some of its ingredients could be a little harsh so I only use a little and then cover it with a more gentle serum . 3. Iunik Propolis Vitamin Synergy Serum - loving this! It’s nice and gentle, which you know I love. I’m a baby and I love the products that I can trust to be gentle even if my skin is feeling sensitized - this is one of them. Still testing out if it has any brightening effects. 4. YTTP Serum just around the eyes. 5. Bioderma Sensibio Eye Contour Gel. 6. Innisfree Daily UV protection cream - truthfully I’ve been slacking on SPF lately; but I’m ready to be good again 😇.

So you over exfoliated your skin.. what’s next?
So you over exfoliated your skin... it’s okay. It happens. I’ve been super guilty in the past of loading everything on my face or thinking “the more I use something the more effective it will be”. When over exfoliation happens your skin starts to go into distress. Your moisture barrier is compromised. Your skin might start to feel irritated, itchy, and inflamed. When this happens at any time I like to reset my routine with gentler products. This guide is meant for sensitized skin but the products are also perfect for those with sensitive or dry skin. 1.) Stop using exfoliating/stripping products I know you want to keep using your routine to see results but now is the time to take a break. Stop exfoliation, retinol, acne treatments, and foaming cleansers. These products are going to be too intense for sensitized skin right now. 2.) Opt for mild and emollient products This is when I switch my routine to products that are more geared towards sensitive skin. Two power house ingredients I look for are colloidal oatmeal and cannabis sativa seed oil. My favorite being colloidal oatmeal which helps to soften and soothe the skin. My favorite product I’ve been using to soothe my mask irritation has been the FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Instant Oatmeal Mask as it nourishes and protects. Cannabis sativa oil on the other hand helps repair the skin’s moisture barrier while helping to reduce inflammation. As always you want to seal everything in with a moisturizer. For sensitive or sensitized skin I always say go for a fragrance free/dye free lightweight cream. My favorite lately has been the dr. brandt - Cool Biotic Prebiotic Redness Relief Cream as it contains colloidal oatmeal, cannabis sativa seed oil, and ceramides (ceramides are amazing for locking moisture into the skin to help prevent dryness and irritation). 3.) Add hydrating, antioxidant, or inflammation reducing treatments The only “treatments” I will add to my routine when my skin feels sensitized are either hydrating, have antioxidant properties, or reduce inflammation. I am currently using is the GOOD MOLECULES - Hyaluronic Acid Serum as this will help draw and keep water in the skin. I also swear by the GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Brightening Toner which showcases niacinamide with its anti-inflammatory properties. This toner is very gentle on the skin and sinks right in which is why I use it at the beginning of my routine. With the skin being wet from the toner is “prepped” for all the other ingredients to penetrate deeper and work more effectively. 4.) Wear sunscreen/avoid the sun I know this is usually everyone’s least favorite part of their routine but it’s the most important. With fresh cells at the forefront they need to be protected from UV damage. They are more susceptible to damage being “newer” than older cells. If you don’t protect these everything else is counterproductive.

I can't express my love for these two gorgeous products: corporesanctum Rebalance Me Aloe Vera Sleeping Mask corporesanctum Rebalance Me Aloe Vera Moisturising Ampoule The sleeping mask is a dream (no pun intended). With Aloe vera and Green Tea, it's perfect for rebalancing my skins pH, soothing and boosting collagen synthesis all whilst I sleep. The moment I apply, my face instantly feels like it has had a lift. The instant hydration hit from it is unreal. Plump, hydrated, glowing skin is a huge benefit I've noticed from using this. The Ampoule is amazing! I add two pumps to my regular moisturiser and I firmly believe that this is huge factor in keeping my skin hydrated and breakout free. I love the smell, I love the way it makes my skin feel and I love the way it makes my skin look. This is one I'd have to restock before I even run out because I'm not sure what I'd do without it. For those who aren't familiar with what an ampoule is, it's a supercharged serum with a higher concentration of active ingredients. This is my first time using an ampoule and it really won't be my last. 🌿.
CORPORE SANCTUM -Rebalance Me Aloe Vera Moisturizing Ampoule
Here’s one of my current PM routines. have dry skin. My main concerns are hydration, anti aging, and closed comedones with the occasional breakout philosophy - Purity Made Simple Cleanser cleanse! Cleansing is my least favorite step in my routine. But I am enjoying this cleanser because it makes removing makeup easy. I need a cleanser that removes all makeup, especially eye, without irritation of my eyes. It’s a creamy consistency which I like because it doesn’t dry or strip my skin of natural oils. It gets the job done GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Brightening Toner toning! I only use one toner per night but this is one product that I often rotate with a few others in my collection. I am a big fan of this toner. Made with niacinamide it works to lessen the look of pores and brighten skin. I love the consistency of this toner, it’s slightly more viscous which makes it fun to apply. My skin feels and looks smooth when I use this often. CAUDALIE - Vinoperfect Radiance Serum The Brightening Solution I am mainly using this product just to use it up. I wish I could say that I love it but to me it’s just meh. It’s supposed to be a highly concentrated serum that combats dark spots, and boosts radiance. I haven’t noticed much difference that I can attribute to this product really. The scent is a little off to me as well, it kind of smells like leaves, dirt, and nature 😂 don’t ask me why. At 79$ it’s not something I would repurchase. FARMACY - Honeymoon Glow Serum chemical exfoliation. I’ve been using honeymoon glow in place of TLC Framboos because I got a set around the holidays. I do like this serum quite a bit. It provides chemical exfoliation in the form of AHA/BHA gentle flowers is blend. I do notice good results when I use this. It fades fine lines and wrinkles, and loosens dead skin cells. It also has the added benefit of hyaluronic acid which helps the skin retain moisture which is something I appreciate since I have such dry skin. At 58$ it is a more affordable option to TLC Framboos and I think it’s a good place to start. However in the end I still prefer TLC Earthen eye cream. I’ve been using this cream which is said to reduce dark circles by changing the surface reflection of skin and improving hydration to combat the look of dark circles. My dark circles are generic and unfortunately no cream will change their appearance so this did not work for me. it does keep the skin nice and hydrated which is appreciated. LANEIGE - Water Sleeping Mask a good but simple moisturizer. I apply over everything to lock in serums and boost skins hydration overnight. Infused with a high concentration of mineral water to deliver high doses of moisture. I enjoy this one! SJÖ SKIN - Happy Honey Oil A gorgeous oil to lock it all in! ILOVE it.
EARTHEN SKINCARE-Clear #1 Eye Cream
All over social media I’ve seen skincare lovers rave about these 3 products. Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy using a single one 😞 A) The Korres Brightening Oil is intended to even skin tone while providing hydration. To me, this oil had a more watery, loose consistency & after using it I broke out on my forehead. I didn’t feel like this product sank into my skin, which is what I would like from an oil. I wanted to love this SO badly but I was disappointed. B) Alright, we all know Laneige has some BOMB products, amirite? I’ve have the water sleeping mask (1000% recommend that) so I was extremely excited to try the cica mask - esp when I saw that it’s hypoallergenic! But once I applied it to my skin before bed I immediately hated it 😭 This felt super greasy on my skin that I wanted to wash it off and start my whole nighttime routine over. I’m realizing that texture and thickness of a product really is a dealbreaker for me - which is why I didn’t like this sleeping mask. C) this toner just... ugh. I’m disappointed honestly. I LOVE the ordinary as a brand bc of the simplicity of the ingredients and how affordable it is. I was looking for a toner that would help with oil control and even my complexion - which is why I purchased this product. However after using this 4 different times I just did not like how the product sat on my skin. My face felt a bit tight and I just didn’t feel comfortable applying my serums and moisturizer on on top of it. I’ll probably give this another try bc I really want to make it work and use it in my daily routine, but as of now, issa no for me dawg .
