I try to eat as healthy as possible and stay away from products with refined flours, sugars and unhealthy snacks and eat as much as I can of water or tea a day. When I have time I go for a walk or jump the rope for 30 minutes. To improve intestinal health, I took a shot of coconut kefir in the morning and at night. Regarding beauty products, as I mentioned in another post, my beauty routine is based on retinol that is not from a clean brand. However, I did combine retinol with clean oils occasionally, depending on whether I need a little more hydration (Emerald) or oil control (Lapis). I try to check labels and I prefer products that have less ingredients, both food and beauty products.

Introducing the hair product you never knew you needed…the 01 Prime Water Defense PreWash from Aquis! Aquis products are designed to minimize hygral fatigue: the stretching and swelling of hair when it's wet that makes it prone to damage, breakage, and frizz. With a clean formula that works with hair's natural pH balance and biome, Prime Water Defense PreWash can be used alone or as the first step in the four-step Aquis Prime Hair system. Star ingredients include coconut oil, cysteine, keratin, avocado oil, aloe extract, panthenol, and niacin. Now let me tell you, this product is a game-changer! My hair is incredibly soft feeling, I noticed it is not as oily in between washes and so much more shine. I love how it made my hair smooth, less fuzzy and easy to manage. It’s also a HUGE bottle at 12 oz for $29 which is very reasonable and I know will last a long time! AQUIS - 01 Prime Water Defense PreWash
These are some of my bathroom essentials I just finished the AQUIS water defense pre-wash which is part of their Prime system. I ended up using this more quickly than I intended to since I have a ton of hair. It took a lot of product to cover everything for me even though it sprays out a lot 😞 I really like it though and it helps a lot with maintaining undamaged hair, especially in conjunction with their hair towels. I haven’t used a lot of the leave in conditioner yet mainly because I get lazy sometimes lol but I will be picking it back up again! What are your essentials? -Dax ❤️

CBD or cannabidiol is the non-intoxicating component of marijuana or hemp plants. It’s extracted from the flowers and leaves of the hemp plant, whose THC content is exceptionally low. It is also important to know that CBD oil is not the same thing as hemp seed oil. CBD oil is richly concentrated in cannabidiol, whereas hemp seed oil only contains trace amounts of cannabidiol. It’s great for sensitive skin (rosacea, eczema, redness), acne prone skin and wrinkles and anti-aging. I bought the set sephora favorites CBD skincare and I have been really looking forward to review them. HERBIVORE - Emerald CBD + Adaptogens Deep Moisture Glow Oil An oil with 100 mg full spectrum CBD, hemp seed oil, and adaptogens to visibly calm redness and nourish skin. Skin type: normal, dry and combination. This is the product with which I have more time and I like it a lot, I usually use it when I want extra hydration. I love it’s smell, it is very relaxing. This oil contains cannabidiol, other products only contain hemp oil. It’s a heavy oil, it is not absorbed fast. Excellent for calming redness, in my experience it has not caused me breakouts. Price: $58 (1 oz). FLORA+BAST - Age Adapting CBD Serum An oil-only serum containing over 300 mg of CBD that works to reduce redness, clear acne/blemishes and restore skin youthful appearance. Skin type: normal, combination and oily. This oil is lighter, since unlike Emerald this is a serum. Another difference they have is that this helps clear blemishes. It has a strong smell. It leaves my face hydrated and glowing. Absorbs faster than Herbivore's. I have used this a few times, but I like its texture and absorption. Price: $77 (1 oz). SAINT JANE - Luxury CBD Body Serum An antioxidant packed serum with 500 mg of full spectrum CBD plus 20 potent botanicals that help hydrate, detoxify pores and boost skin’s natural glow. Skin type: normal, dry, combination and oily. This is the most expensive, but I think it worth the price. It’s a lightweight serum, quickly absorbed, leaves my skin calm, plump, hydrated and glowing. Smells amazing!! 😍 Price: $125 (1 oz). JOSIE MARAN - Skin Dope Argan Oil + 100 mg CBD A plat powered oil that helps calm and relieve fatigued, sensitive skin. It contains 100 mg CBD oil. Skin type: normal, dry, combination and oily. This contains CBD and argan oil. It’s a little more oily than Saint Jane's, but it absorbs well. I use it at night and I wake up with soft skin, it has no aroma. I also don't breakout with this. I have used this a few times too, but I think it works great. Price: $78 (1.7 oz). I love all 😍, my top 3 Saint Jane, Flora + Bast and Herbivore in that order. It’s true that they are expensive, but I think they worth the price. I recommend Herbivore for winter or people who have dry skin, since it is much more hydrating and heavy than the other oils. My next purchase will be the full size of Saint Jane 🙈 I love that it’s lightweight, the aroma and its fast absorption, it is the most expensive of all but the results are amazing.
my perfect PM routine
Hi! I thought I would also share my PM routine. I’ve been using this routine for about a month, having just introduced the Emerald oil last week. All of these products are great at saving my skin from the day I had, and soothing it for night time. My Skin Type: — normal to oily — blemish prone — rosacea — hyperpigmentation/PIE Why this routine works for me: — cleanses spf and makeup off — hydrates — soothes/calms — moisturizes and resets skin Products Included: — HOLI FROG - Kissimmee Vitamin F Therapy Balmy Face Wash, 74ml — HOLI FROG - Superior Omega Nutritive Gel Wash — E nature - Juniper Pore Grip Toner — HERBIVORE - Emerald CBD + Adaptogens Deep Moisture Glow Oil — belif - Aqua Bomb Sleeping Mask Mini Reviews: — Kissimmee: the perfect balmy wash to take my makeup and spf off. It’s soothing and calming as well, making cleansing fun and non abrasive. The texture is super soft and easy to work into skin and small corners of the face, and plows through my waterproof makeup easily. The priciest cleanser I own, but I’ve already repurchased a backup. — Superior Omega: the only gel wash I’ve ever been able to use every day. It’s super clarifying and leaves my face so clean but not squeaky or stripped. Texture is smooth and easy to apply, and the perfect second cleanse! — Juniper Pore Grip Toner: this toner is incredible at removing any leftover makeup and toning my face and neck for the rest of my routine. I swipe some on a cotton pad and then across my face, and it’s not abrasive at all. Smells kind of nice albeit artificial. Doesn’t upset my rosacea like most toners. — Emerald Oil: usually oils are used at the end of my routines, but this one is so lightweight that I place it before my sleeping mask and use this as a moisturizer of sorts. So far this has been incredible; I don’t have a ton of experience with CBD skincare, but this is really good at calming my skin and reducing redness. — Aqua Bomb Sleeping Mask: super simple, no frills but no nonsense sleeping mask. Has fragrance but smells so yummy and doesn’t irritate my skin. The jelly texture works best when left in my mini fridge and cools me off after a long day. It’s not greasy or pore clogging, but definitely gives me a glow in the mornings!
Clean beauty to try
Ok so I’m just getting in to the clean beauty world and so far these two are two that I’m loving. Herbivore was started in my hometown of Seattle and they are great products. The prism facial leaves my skin so soft and smooth with the perfect jelly like texture. I follow that with my favorite moisturizer and add some lapis oil to balance my skin. The oil goes on so smooth and does not make my face feel sticky at all. It’s crazy to me that these products give me such good results and still are so good for my skin and made without any suspected toxic ingredients! I highly recommend both of these and give them both 5 out of 5 starsHERBIVORE - Lapis Balancing Facial Oil HERBIVORE - Prism 20% AHA + 5% BHA Exfoliating Glow Facial
AN OIL THAT ACTUALLY HELPS MY ACNE?!
Guys If you have been contemplating on trying herbivore, I highly recommend pressing checkout in your cart ASAP because I have tried like 3 very different products and liked all of them 🥰 Someone who has sensitive and acne prone skin, I’m terrified of trying new skincare (especially now after getting my skin to normal) but I am a sucker for skincare! And when there is so much hype, it’s hard not to want to try it. I have very oily skin and honestly ever oil that has ever claimed to “help oily skin and acne” has been a lieeeee🙅🏽♀️ so for sure, I was dumb skeptical but finally I went for it after reading a TON of reviews which were mostly good expect for a few. I have to say y’all, this is some good stuff! I wake up looking glowy and hydrated and my acne goes down as well, I’m shook 😯 in the best way possible. I know some people said after using it every night they started getting small pimples on their face so I just use it like every couple days to give my skin some rest so I would recommend doing that if you want to try this. Otherwise, IM LOVING IT (so far lol) HERBIVORE - Lapis Balancing Facial Oil

Cute lil GWP
Gifted this mini set to my mother as she has oily to combo skin. I used to have the water cream and I loved using it in the summer, it felt refreshing and it was so moisturizing and luxurious. And due to that it was expensive so I haven’t been able to repurchase it yet!
I got a lovely surprise in the mail recently from Cherie!!! Thank you so much for this platform to share all of our opinions and photos! I got some great goodies that I’ve been dying to try, I’m so impressed that they sent me these things! I didn’t rate them yet because I want to give them a good try out before reviewing. Coming soon😉
💚Super Amino Gel Cleanser 💚
I heard many things about this product. So, I wanted to have my own opinion and give it a try. Here are my honest thoughts 🙂 I love my Jet Lag Mask 💙and I was excited for this new launch! I didn’t verify the ingredients 🤦🏻♀️and just paid 50$ cad (38$ usd). Yes guys, I followed the hype.🤷🏻♀️ . . I love the mint packaging is beautiful! 💚This Super Amino Gel Cleanser is cruelty-free and comes in a recyclable packaging ♻️. It has11 amino acids, Arginine, Aspartic Acid, Glycine, Alanine, Serine, Valine, Proline, Threonine, Isoleucine, Histidine and Phenylalanine. I used 3 pumps every night. It cleanses well your skin and also removes makeup 👌🏼. Unfortunately, I didn’t like much the citrusy scent and I didn’t notice any difference (positive or negative) on my skin. I think the price is a bit too high 💸 and a scent free version would have been better (just my opinion). I love @summerfridays but this cleanser is my least favorite one. 😢 . . *This review is based on my own experience with this product. The skin condition of each person is different (even constantly changing), pay attention and understand the ingredients is a right attitude, but you still need professional physicians 👩🏻⚕️to diagnose skin problems. #thatsupercleanfeeling #mintvibes #skincarereview #skincaretuesday #beatthealgo #honestreview

DE Slaai cleanser vs Farmacy Green Clean
I love my FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm as a eye makeup remover, full face of makeup remover , it kind of melts everything down, be it a makeup or my sunscreen. I have been using it for a long time about more than a year. But I was really curious to try the DRUNK ELEPHANT - Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser so I decided to film my first impressions of using it. So I am going to break it down into following categories and compare these two based on Consistency, textures, ingredients and efficiency. Consistency/texture:- Speaking of consistency and textures they both are quite same and melts off very easily after coming in contact with skin. I like to rub my balms between my fingers and then apply it over my skin. How they work? The balmy texture of these cleansers turn into oils after rubbing them onto the skin. They breaks down the products on your skin so you can rinse that off with water or you can also use a cottan pad as well. Ingredients:- The ingredients in both of them seems quite good to me. They both are clean at Sephora which means they are free of all those synthetic ingredients that could be harmful to skin. I would like to mention one thing here that Farmacy green clean contains essential oils in it which haven’t been a problem to my skin at all or my eyes but some people find it make their eyes itchy. The difference between these two ? They both work same way to remove makeup or cleanse your skin. The only difference that I have found so far is that DE slaai cleanser takes a little longer to wash off as compared to other one. Also I feel like it left kind of a oily residue on my skin which I am not a fan of. I want my skin to feel clean and hydrated after. My pick ? I have used Farmacy green clean forever and I can’t see myself cheating with it, because this one sets the standard for every other oil or balm cleanser I use. I liked the DE Slaai cleanser as well but I don’t see myself getting the full size in near future. I will keep trying other balms here and there for a change or for comparison but again love my green clean. 💚
FARMACY-Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm
A miss for me ❌ Overhyped
Farmacy is a brand that is extremely hyped up. But that is because their products are THAT good. Unfortunately this product did not work for me at all from them. It dries my skin out so bad when I use it. Extremely tight skin and stripped is what I feel when I use it. It foams up a lot and the smell is quite strong. This is a mini I got in boxycharm so I am not too sure of the price, but the full size is 5oz for $28. Like that it comes in a pump (full size). Would not recommend. Quoted via the sephora site: “What it is: An ultra-gentle, soothing facial cleanser that lifts away excess oil, impurities, and makeup while infusing moisture with honey and hyaluronic acid. Skin Type: Normal, Dry, Combination, and Oily Skincare Concerns: Dullness and Uneven Texture Highlighted Ingredients: - Coconut, Sugar, and Amino Acid: Naturally derived cleansers to gently wash away surface oil, impurities, pollution residue, and makeup. - Hyaluronic Acid: Low molecular weight hyaluronic acid penetrates deeply for added moisture and hydration. - Proprietary Honey Blend: Known for its soothing and humectant properties, this special honey delivers skin-loving moisture and nourishment, plus antioxidants.” FARMACY - Clean Bee Ultra Gentle Facial Cleanser

I absolutely adore Tatcha and so I was excited to get this mini of the Deep Cleanse Exfoliating Cleanser. It’s an oil-free gel that claims to lift away dirt without over-drying. While I loved this cleanser the first few days I used it, I found that it was actually too drying if I used it too frequently. I think this would be perfect for oily/combination skin but for my dry-ish skin it wasn’t ideal. I still love Tatcha though and plan on trying their cleansing oil! .
