Korres Nourishing Probiotic Gel-Cream
I received a trial of this complimentary through Influenster. I have oily skin and love gel-cream moisturizers and also have had good experiences with Korres products in the past, so I expected to enjoy this product. Unfortunately, I didn’t. First, my skin did not react well to this. My skin is not sensitive at all, and I can’t remember the last product my skin reacted poorly to. But this irritated my cheeks in particular and caused them to feel tight as well. I know it was this product, because as soon as I felt irritation I discontinued use of it and any acids or serums in my routine, only using my normal cleanser and moisturizer for a few days until I was sure the irritation was gone. I then applied this moisturizer, and within 15 minutes to irritation and tightness returned. I washed my face immediately and applied my usual moisturizer, and the irritation and tightness disappeared. Even if I hadn’t had a bad reaction to this product, I would not repurchase. It is heavier than what I would expect from a gel-cream, and I don’t enjoy the scent.

Natasha Denona Metropolis Palette
Metropolis was my first Natasha Denona palette — I purchased it during Sephora F&F for 20% off. I was interested in this palette for the assortment of greens and golds — colors that haven't interested me in the past, but I've been really into them lately. I thought this palette would give me a great assortment in those colors for me to play with, and I knew I'd like the blues, oranges, and rosy nudes. This palette quickly became a favorite and I am happy to have it in my collection! It has the green and gold shades I was looking for, as well as shades I didn't even know I wanted. I did expect to be overwhelmed by the options in this palette, but I had heard that ND palettes are arranged so that you can work in quads, rows, or diagonals and get a combination of colors that worked together. I found this to be true, and it did make the experience less overwhelming, knowing that if I wasn't sure what to do next I could just look near the shades I had already used. While this palette has gotten some criticism for duping itself with some of the shades, I don't mind in a palette this size, especially with its intentional arrangement. I do find that similar shades either have a slightly different undertone that make them pair differently with other shades in the palette, or they have a different finish to serve different purposes. The cream-to-powder formula in this palette is truly what stands out the most — I love this formula so much, I would happily buy a palette full of just that! They are richly pigmented, glide on smoothly, and practically blend themselves. Plus, no kickback, no fallout. They even work amazingly well as liners! Overall, if you're interested in this palette and don't already have a ton of similar shades, I think it's a great palette. It would be something I’d repurchase if I lost it.

Cosrx Low pH BHA Overnight Mask
This mask is my secret to waking up with glowing skin. This mask has a thick cream-gel consistency that glides onto your skin. I have oily skin and do not notice excessive oiliness after using these as I do with creamier products. It is lightly fragranced, but the scent dissipates quickly. This mask does leave my skin slightly tacky, and does rub off a little on my pillow, but not enough to be bothersome. Personally the results are worth it. In the morning my skin looks hydrated, plump, and glowing, and any acne starting to pop up is reduced or gone. This is absolutely a staple in my collection and one I will continue to repurchase.

Lunar Beauty Moon Spell
This is my very first palette from Lunar Beauty. If I'm being totally honest, I didn't need this palette — I can create similar looks from shadows already in my collection. But I really loved the packaging and the color story, and I had a Rouge Reward, so I went ahead and picked it up. I am really loving this palette! The thing I appreciate the most is that the color story encouraged me to try new things. Sure, I have plenty of purples and neutrals in my collection, and the greens and teals are similar to some I already have. But seeing these colors laid out this way encouraged me to play more with different color combinations And the packaging just always made me happy to pull this out and play. Is it something I would immediately run out and repurchase if I lost it? No, and that’s why I gave it 4 stars. But if you are drawn to the color story and packaging, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. All of the shades are decently pigmented, build easily, and blend well. It’s a fun palette that’s nice to have in my collection.

Erborian Bamboo Crème Frappee
I discovered this moisturizer years ago when a sample arrived in my Sephora Play box, and I have been repurchasing it ever since. It is magic for my oily skin. I use this as my daytime moisturizer, and it makes a huge difference in keeping my natural oils from making me look greasy, even in the summertime. It has a light, whipped texture and somehow always feels cooling on the skin. It’s hydrating but really sinks into the skin quickly. I do find that I need a bit more hydration and creaminess overnight, so I really only use this at night during the peak of summer. Unfortunately Sephora just stopped carrying this, so the only place to order is from Erborian’s site at the time of this post. However, Erborian offers discounts often, to the point where I was usually ordering from them anyway, and I have always received my orders quickly.

Empty: Briogeo Scalp Revival Shampoo
I have dry, itchy scalp and love the Briogeo Scalp Revival Treatment. I originally bought the shampoo in a mini and was not impressed. I decided to give it another try with the conditioner, and the combination of all three products in the line was much more effective for me. When I first started using the treatment alone, I needed it 3-4x per week. Now I use all 3 once per week, sometimes less, only as needed. I have color treated hair, and while I haven’t noticed this affecting my color, I try to avoid exfoliating products as much as I can to extend my color. I have repurchased, but I have to give this 4 stars due to packaging. I absolutely hate the tub. In fact, I had to repurchase sooner than expected because I knocked it over and lost a quarter of the product. Briogeo claims it has to be in a tub due to the unique texture that is prone to separating, so that you can mix it by hand. But I have never mixed the product, nor do I see why it couldn’t be shaken in a tube instead.

Best Sleeping Mask Ever
👋 Been really looking forward to writing this review for you guys because it's my go-to nighttime product right now! I tried their LANEIGE - Cica Sleeping Mask and let me just start off by saying it's GOOD.⠀ — I've been a fan of Laneige’s original and lavender sleeping mask for years now so I was super excited to see this one added to the collection. If the other two are gel textures and based on hydrating, the cica sleeping mask (as you can probably tell from the name) is targeted to strengthen the skin barrier for healthier skin and also helps soothe redness using cica, short for centella asiatica. Cica is amazing for speeding up the healing process when your skin is damaged/irritated/sensitive.⠀ — 😍 What I like about the Cica Sleeping Mask: — 1️⃣ It's a thicker cream texture unlike the other two (water sleeping mask and lavender water sleeping mask that are gel textures)⠀ 2️⃣ Focuses on soothing redness and to strengthen the skin barrier with cica⠀ 3️⃣ Works well as a nighttime moisturizer although it's a sleeping mask⠀ 4️⃣ Leaves my skin hydrated, glowing, but not oily at all the next morning⠀ 5️⃣ The scent isn't too strong like the other ones⠀ — It's been available in Korea for awhile now but it's finally available in the states too at Sephora, so I encourage you to stop by and grab a sample for yourself!⠀

Cool sheet mask 😎
bliss - Hangover Fix Holographic Foil Sheet Mask What is it: This is a foil-backed, holographic sheet mask with a cute design that replenishes and re-balances dull, dehydrated skin. It is made with probiotics and electrolytes that help enhance skin’s natural moisture barrier. It claims to deliver nearly a full bottle of serum in just one application. This mask hugs the contours of the face that help lock in moisture that leaves the skin smooth and hydrated. Who is it for: It is recommended for all skin types. What does it feel like: The mask is soaked with a thick serum that sinks in the skin as you apply. It has a light clean scent. My thoughts: I absolutely love this mask. I have re purchased this a few times already as i think it does a good job when I need the extra care on my skin. I used this a lot during the summer when i spent a lot of day under the sun and it gives me the needed hydration to quench my thirsty skin. It did not cause me any breakouts or irritation which is really important to me. And i love the holographic design which makes it real fun to apply! This is $4 each which i think is so inexpensively great! Will definitely recommend and continue to repurchase! 5/5
