CAUDALIE - Vinopure Natural Salicylic Acid Pore Minimizing Serum is marketed to target acne, blemishes and pores for those with oily and combination skin. I started using this product because I have enlarged pores and I wanted to see if this serum would help minimize them. I stopped using this after 2 days because I began to see a huge breakout. Back story: I never get blemishes! Even during puberty I didn’t experience that. I immediately stopped using this product. I have pretty normal skin, sometimes a little dry but sometimes a little oily and I didn’t expect to have that reaction. Only a few products have caused a breakout for me- I’m not usually sensitive and who knows it could have been something else. I absolutely love the cleanser from this line so I don’t think it’s the salicylic acid causing a breakout!! Maybe I’ll incorporate this into my routine at another point to try it out. This serum is pricey at $49 and the reviews are great! If you’re prone to acne give this serum a try. The serum spreads easily only one pump is necessary per application. ✔️ salicylic acid ✔️ grape seed polyphenols ✔️ essential oils ✔️ vegan ✔️ clean at Sephora

My Secret Blackhead Removal Products
Once upon a time, I thought acne was just a phase that would pass as I grew out of adolescence. I was partly right, where large pimples did fade away; however, a new enemy has emerged called the blackhead, and I have been struggling with it to date. I hope to put an end to this, or at least reduce the appearance of blackheads. I turned to two famous blackhead-eliminating products, including The Ordinary Lactic Acid 10% + HA and La Roche-Posay Effaclar K(+). So far, I am very impressed with the results. My Skin Condition: I have very oily skin, and as a result, I am more likely to have breakouts and blackheads due to the oil, dirt, and dead skin cells clogging my pores, leaving me with enlarged pores and uneven skin texture. But what are blackheads exactly? They are small, black or dark-colored bumps that appear on your skin from clogged hair follicles. Blackheads are simply whiteheads that have opened and widened. When the contents of a whitehead expose to air, they darken. Fortunately, they are only a mild type of acne. The Ordinary Lactic Acid 10% HA The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA The Ordinary Lactic Acid is such a fantastic product, given its affordable price. Essentially, it is a chemical exfoliate, good for hyperpigmentation, oily and congested skin, and fine lines. I felt that it reduced the appearance of blackheads since they form due to clogged pores. My skin looks brighter and feels smoother the next day. Texture: A lightweight and watery serum that spreads well and gets absorbed quickly, and is very slightly sticky. Scent: It is not too overwhelming nor unpleasantly artificial. Good to know: I only apply this product at night and would use a generous amount of sunscreen in the morning because it contains alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), which can make the skin more prone to sunburn. La Roche-Posay Effaclar K(+) #LA ROCHE-POSAY - Effaclar K(+) Anti-Blackhead Moisturiser[products]# The Effaclar K(+) is a well known anti-blackhead moisturizer in the skincare community, and I can confirm that it lives up to its fame. Only after one application, my skin already feels detoxified and purified like a fresh skin feeling that lasts all day long. I have been using this product for weeks now, and I noticed that my skin texture is smoother and that pores are unclogging, which reduces blackheads. Texture: Light, watery that absorbs instantly into the skin and mattifies the skin. Ingredients: Includes carnosine that protects skin by reducing oxidation, air licium that mattifies the skin by absorbing 150 times its volume in sebum, and LHA and Salicylic Acid, which micro-exfoliates the skin’s surface and unclogs pores.
