Bye Bye Blackheads!
Drunk Elephant TLC Sukari Babyfacial ($80/1.69oz) What it is: An at-home AHA/NHA "facial" peel that resurfaces skin to reveal greater clarity, improved skin texture and tone, and a more youthful-looking appearance. Skin Type: Normal, Dry, Combination, and Oily. Skincare Concerns: Dullness and Uneven Texture, Dark Spots, and Fine Lines and Wrinkles. Texture: Slightly gritty creamy solution. My Experience: I have been using Babyfacial for about 3 years and it is the most effective product I own. For starters, the airless pump packaging not only is cute but also helps to keep the ingredients stabilized. The formulation is top notch! Especially since it contains a high percentage of exfoliating ingredients and magnificent supporting ingredients that makes this mask incredible effective and nourishing . It contains a blend of 25% AHAs (Glycolic, Tartaric, Lactic, Citric Acids) + 2% salicylic acid to exfoliate and resurface the skin; chick pea flour, green tea leaf (matcha), milk thistle, and apple extract to condition and soothe; marula and maracuja oils to nourish; sodium hyaluronate, sodium PCA, aloe and glycerin as humectants and moisturizing agents; and niacinamide to minimize the appearance of pores and oil production. I make sure to use this mask no more than 15-20 minutes because it is powerful. I can use it once a week or twice a month, depending on what my skin needs at that moment. My skin tends to get sensitized super easy with this mask I have not experienced any irritation at all. It does tingles a bit as soon as I put it on but disappears almost immediately. It is kind of sticky when I put it on but spreads really well. It turns milky once water is added and removes pretty easy. I have never experienced immediate and so satisfying results from a product until Babyfacial came into my life. Refined texture, minimized pores, baby’s butt smooth skin, and overall healthy glow to my skin. It also helps reduce inflamed acne overnight and keeping my acne under control. And overtime, it helps get rid off stubborn hyperpigmentation. But I just love how effective it is with tricky blackheads. I have never tried a product that actually softened up and eliminate blackheads effectively and without being harsh on the skin until Babyfacial. The Best! If you have extra dry skin, I would recommend to mix it with a rich moisturizer like Drunk Elephant Lala Retro or Paula’s Choice Omega + Complex Moisturizer. At $80, it is not cheap but definitely worth every single penny, especially since one bottle can last me a year with continuous use. If your concerns are dull skin, uneven texture, acne, blackheads, and hyperpigmentation, you will absolutely fall in love with this product and I recommend it 1000%.
