Aztec secret: just call me 💚MRS SHREK💚
You’ve probably heard it all about AZTEC SECRET - Indian Healing Clay
It recommends you mix it with 🍎APPLE CIDER VINEGAR 🍎 and I’ve heard some folks say that’s too harsh for them but honestly I feel it mixes best with the vinegar and has the best consistency. If it’s your first time try half water half vinegar (you prepare by mixing equal parts liquid/powder)
I let it get nice and crunchy and remove🧖♀️ GENTLY🧖♀️ with a warm towel. This can be messy especially if you use a thick layer!
It smells 😕NOT GREAT 😕 while it’s working it’s magic but you get used to it.
I have dry sensitive skin and only use it once of twice a month to help shrink my pores and if I am having some blemish issues. It really feels like it is 💥SUCKING OUT💥 all your skin’s impurities.
Your skin will be red afterwards and slightly irritated if you leave it on too long or scrub too vigorously when removing. I like to do it at 🌙 NIGHT 🌙 so any redness is gone by morning.
To 🧴SOOTHE & MOISTURIZE 🧴 afterwards I like to use FIRST AID BEAUTY - FAB Pharma Arnica Relief & Rescue Maskor Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Hydrogel Recovery Mask🍀GOOD LUCK🍀 being green!

The BEST Hydrating Mask Ever!
FIRST AID BEAUTY - FAB Pharma Arnica Relief & Rescue Mask This is one of my favorite products I’ve ever tried. It has saved my skin on dry, sensitive days. I highly recommend this. Key Ingredients: 🔹Arnica Flower- quickens skin’s healing process 🔹Calendula- calms and soothes the skin 🔹Centella Asiatica- soothes compromised skin 🔹Shea Butter- moisturizes and protects the skin This masks should be applied in a thick layer all over the face and as time passes it sinks in. When finished you can either wipe off the excess that didn’t get to sink in, or you can rub it into your skin. Sometimes I use it as a mask and rub it in, but I actually use this as a nighttime moisturizer more often. I love it for that purpose! The mask has a light blue color to it and a whipped texture. I absolutely love the scent (naturally occurring because there no added fragrance) but I can see how others may not. It has an herbal and almost medicinal scent to it. I find it very relaxing. If you have tried this product or have any recommendations please let me know in the comments!
I have tried many moisturizers but here are the ones I think are best for each skin type! ❤️Best for Oily Skin❤️ CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion This moisturizer is suitable for most skin types but it is great for oily skin types because it contains niacinamide which can aid in controlling the overproduction of oil. It is very moisturizing but it doesn’t make your skin look greasy. I absolutely love this moisturizer and strongly recommend it. 🧡Best for Dry Skin🧡 FIRST AID BEAUTY - FAB Pharma Arnica Relief & Rescue Mask This is technically a moisturizing mask but when my skin is feeling dry I use it as a moisturizer. Is is so soothing and has an interesting texture and smell. The product comes out of the tube blue and with an almost whipped texture. When you put it on your face it sinks in slowly if you apply it as a leave on mask, but if you rub it in it sinks in pretty quickly. I personally love the light natural scent it has (it is almost medicinal) but I realize it may be off putting to others. 💛Best for Combination Skin💛 GLOW RECIPE - Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream This moisturizer has niacinamide (can aid in controlling the overproduction of oil), is hydrating, and gives your skin a nice glow. At first I wasn’t a huge fan but with continued use I grew to love it! It has a light banana scent but Glow Recipe product contain extremely little fragrance. I think this would be great for combination skin as long as you don’t mind the glow. 💚Best for Sensitive Skin💚 FIRST AID BEAUTY - Skin Rescue Daily Face Cream This may be my favorite moisturizer! It is hydrating but feels very light on the skin. It sinks in quickly and has a smaller ingredient list so there isn’t a very big risk of irritation. It is very simple but in a great way! 💙Best for Normal Skin💙 FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream If you have normal skin you can use any of the moisturizers I’ve recommended, but this one is really nice, effective, and has a great formula. It is great for dry or sensitive skin as well. It makes my skin feel very hydrated and has never caused issues with my acne prone skin. 💜Honorable Mentions💜 cocokind - Matcha Face Moisturizer This moisturizer is interesting. I feel like that is the best way to put it. It is very thick but it is also mattifying. Because of this, I think it would be suitable for all skin types (including oily) if you prefer thick moisturizers. The one problem I may have with it, though, is that it may have made my milia slightly worse. The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA I think this is a great moisturizer but I personally prefer other ones. If you are looking for a simple moisturizer that it inexpensive and delivers great hydration, this might be a great option. Leave a comment if you have tried these or have any recommendations!

The Benefits of Facial Steaming
I’ve had my old faithful Body Benefits Facial Steamer for 4 years and do a steam facial once a week. I bought it from a shopping channel 🛍 for $29.95 If you don’t have a facial steamer you can boil water, pour the hot water in a ceramic bowl and use soft towels to cover your head over the bowl, saving you money 💰 I use bottled water to steam as I live in a City. I like to start by cleansing before a facial steam, I’m currently using L'ORÉAL - Pure Clay Cleanser Detox & Brighten My good old Steamer doesn’t have a timer so I put a 10 minute alarm on my phone. It has one speed “On” 😂 The benefits for me are: 🧚♀️ It promotes collagen production 🧚♀️ Removes toxins, hydrates and opens pores 🧚♀️ Makes skin more receptive to other products and 🧚♀️ It leaves my skin glowing After steaming I like to apply a Mask SKINREPUBLIC - Collagen Infusion Face Mask (25ml) or Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Hydrogel Recovery Mask or Serums like TruSkin - Vitamin C Serum for Vitamin C or Lanbena’s Six Peptides with Hyaluronic Acid for moisture and wrinkles. I did a write up on these previously. If you like essential oil, add a few drops to increase your steam facial benefits. I like rose is great for skin too. Hope you all have a great Friday and I’d love to hear your thoughts 😃 just comment below 😁 Jade

Clay Hair Mask
HOW TO MAKE: 2 Tbs of Aztec clay powder and 2 Tbs of Organic Apple Cider Vinegar AZTEC SECRET - Indian Healing Clay HOW TO PUT ON: Wet hair Divide hair into sections Comb clay mixture into hair with fingers Leave on for 30 minutes HOW TO WASH OUT: Start off with cold water then transition to slightly warmer water MY THOUGHTS: My hair definitely felt clean and my curls felt soft; however, I didn’t get as much curl definition as I was hoping for. Any tips for more curl definitions? What other ingredients have you added to hair clay mixtures?
oily skin & don’t know how to manage? I got you
this post is for all the people who have oily skin and sometimes just don’t know how to deal with it! well i’m here for some tips! I have oily/combo skin and I’ve learnt some important info during my skincare journey that I would love to share with you all 🤗 1. still moisturise it is super important for people with oily skin to keep up with moisturising ! you may think that your skin is hydrated and doesn’t need any extra moisture, but it still really does. if you don’t moisturise, or use products to keep your skin hydrated, your skin can overcompensate with releasing it’s natural oils, which in hand, can make your skin more oily 2. don’t be afraid of oils whether this is oil cleansing or any certain type of oil (rosehip, squalane etc), don’t be hesitant to use these products just because of your skin type. for me, oils have made a huge difference to my skin, especially oil cleansing! one thing to remember with oil cleansing, is that oils attract oils, and therefore are oil soluble. products like this help to get rid of grease, blackheads etc and can be great for oily skin! 3. use products targeted for oily skin I know that this one is quite self explanatory, but here are some products that helped my oily skin become more manageable! - niacinamide. this ingredient is amazing for oily skin ! it helps to decrease oil production from within the skin. my fav product is NATURIUM - Niacinamide Serum 12% Plus Zinc 2% , but I also don’t mind The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% -exfoliation. now with this I don’t mean physical exfoliation, but chemical exfoliation! my favourite exfoliant has to be PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator this one is my HOLY GRAIL product of them all ! I have many posts on this product so be sure to check those out for an in depth description. - clay face masks. these are good for absorbing oil and giving your face a matte finish. some of my favs are PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Balancing Oil-Absorbing Mask AZTEC SECRET - Indian Healing Clay I hope this helps and if you have any questions, feel free to comment 🌟🥰
Step 1.5: Masks (Clay Edition) ❤️
Masks. It’s like a spa day at home, honestly. I loves it! I only have a few I truly love and will recommend, but I can also review the ones I’ve tried, but didn’t stick. Anywhoooz, here goes the first: Mr. Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Mask Hot dang, you got a long name! I’ll try to be more organized and objective with my review and less story telling and subjective. Been browsing this app and found those reviews to be a tad bit easier to read, naaaamsayinn? When to use: ☹️ Skin feels SUPER congested ☹️ PM; no more than once a week (it can get pretty irritating, I only use once a month tbh) Claims: 🤔 Cleans deeeeep into your pores 🤔 Men love it, too! (Try it out with your SO lol) How to use: 💁🏼♀️ Get some of this magic dust 💁🏼♀️ Mix with water or apple cider vinegar 💁🏼♀️ Paint onto problematic areas (I like doing my whole face) 💁🏼♀️ Wait 5-10 minutes for sensitive skin, 15-20 for normal. 💡TIP: If it’s your first time, wait 5 minutes, see how your face reacts, then the next time you use it, add on 5 more minutes. Don’t just jump into the 20 minute deal! 💁🏼♀️ Soak a wash cloth and put it over your face to loosen the clay, then gently rinse off 💁🏼♀️ Pat skin dry 💚 Follow through with the rest of your skincare routine. I personally like to go aggressive with my treatments (what I means is AHAs and such) because I feel like my unclogged pores are ready to accept the extra treatment. You, however, should listen to what YOUR skin is telling you you need. She might be needing something different than my skin needs. Things to keep in mind: 🧐 It’s best not to let it completely dry 🧐 Redness immediately after mask is normal 🧐 Do NOT use metal anything when handling this magical clay dust (it interferes with its magical properties) 🧐 It WILL make your face pulsate 🧐 You should always end your skincare routine with a very hydrating moisturizer after this mask Hope this helps! This wasn’t entirely objective, butttttt you’ll live. 🤷🏼♀️ Lol! More mask reviews to come! 🤗 I love me some masks! What are your experiences with this mask? Was this review easier to read? What are some masks you like? I love trying new masks! Talk to me! COVID has deprived me of human interaction and I’m an ambivert leaning extrovert at the moment and I is dyyyyyyyying. Lol 😩 Okay byeeeeee. 😎 Xoxo Xenia
AZTEC SECRET-Indian Healing Clay
INDIAN HEALING CLAY, MY THOUGHTS
AZTEC SECRET - Indian Healing Clay I have sensitive skin so as you can see there was a LOT of redness and irritation after using the product ! I would NOT recommend this for anyone with sensitive skin because of how my skin became very red! If you don’t have sensitive skin I would and wouldn’t recommend this product, here’s why... •The clay mask made me break out after the first use because my skin wasn’t used to the product but after I got used to it it was okay. Tho I’m not entirely sure how anyone else would react to they mask, I say give it a try! It actually did a pretty good job at cleaning out my skin, it removed ALL of the dirt and oil in your pores and also at the surface of your skin! Tho it left my skin red, which went away after about 30mins, my skin was soooo so so soft! Finally, another unpleasant thing i experienced using the Indian healing clay mask was how as it dried the clay tightened my skin, it was VERRY painful. It dried and just kept tightening, which made it very hard to speak ! Thank you for reading my thoughts on this product! You’re beautiful 💗

Acne? This is the best mask!
It’s #maskmonday beauties!! 🌱😍 ⬅️ Swipe left for texture shots and the cute applicator it comes with!! 💖✨ I wanted talk about this Green Tea Detox mask by @teamiblends ⭐teamí - Green Tea Blend Detox Mask This is one of the masks I swear by and will always choose over any other!! If you love Matcha and green tea also if you want a mask that is effective yet very gentle this is it!❤ I purchased this mask two months back and I didn't know Dr. Dray and Cassandra Bankson rave about this mask! I didn't know how good this was until I finally tried it! This mask is made with organic matcha green tea, lemongrass and bentonite clay, we formulated this natural detoxifying mask to rid pores of impurities while replenishing the skin with necessary superfood nutrients. You'll be wowed by the powerful yet gentle ability of this Detox Mask to leave your skin feeling soft, clean and renewed. Perfect for all skin types. 🌱Superfood ingredients: -Matcha Green Tea: Helps with inflammation and irritation caused by blemishes -Lemongrass- Best to calm skin down while helping with Acne and dark spots -Bentonite Clay- The best for breakouts! The claims of this mask are 100% true. It leaves your skin feeling super soft, reduces redness and irritation of blemishes and it helps with excess sebum leaving a soft, smooth complexion. The best part is the amount we get, it retails for 30$ but it's a huge jar and will last a long time. I have been using it since two months religiously and there's a lot remained. Overall I’m a fan! Try it out!

Let’s talk face masks for acne
The Sand & Sky Australian Pink Clay Porefining Face Mask is marketed as a pore-refining mask with super-powered Australian botanicals. It's meant to be a solution for pores, blemishes & acne, and oiliness. The texture here is similar to your usual clay mask, but what i love about this particular one is how smooth it is and non-drying it is on the skin. Definitely one of my favorite clay mask textures for sure. I decided to try this mask around a month ago since I've recently struggled with acne here and there. I had heard this mask in particular was great for clearing up skin blemishes and reducing acne flair-ups. Plus the before and after photo on their websites are incredible! In terms of my experience, I REALLY like this mask and I feel it is the best mask I've tried that helps with blemishes and preventing acne. It's really one of the few face masks that truly does what it says it does. As mentioned, I also really love how this mask doesn't dry out my already dry skin! Overall, if i put this on when i feel a breakout coming on, it's definitely helps my blemishes fade quickly and redness always goes down fast. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone! Like i said, it does what it says it does and is one of the few products I own that truly helps me when I'm battling a breakout. It sells for $50 which I'd say is worth it since it's an effective product with great ingredients. I would rate this product 5/5. SAND&SKY - Australian Pink Clay Porefining Face Mask

is this really the most powerful facial ?
I bought this off urban outfitters after seeing some videos about it and how amazing it worked for their skin! keep in mind that I have oily skin, especially right now in the summer and large pores that I want to get less noticeable. I first started using it with apple cider vinegar as I had it on hand and heard it works best with it and so that’s all I have been using it with so don’t personally know the different with using water instead. the first time I made the mistake of mixing it with a metal spoon, making the face mask fizz and completely not work (whoops!) make sure everything you use to mix it and hold it in, make sure it isn’t metal !! (i use the end of one of my makeup brushes hahaha). how to use: with using non metal utensils, mix equal parts water or acv and the powder. however, you want to use enough liquid so that the face mask isn’t too firm and clumps together ! leave it on for no longer than 5-10 mins for sensitive skin and 15-20 for normal! I leave it on for 20 since my face has gotten use to it. it is also normal if your face is red afterwards and should go away within 30 mins ! for me, my face has never been too red from it and goes away sooner! so, how do I feel about this mask? I paid $12 I believe for 1 pound (standard size) and honestly with how much you get, a little really does go a very very long way! it is a time consuming mask with the fact that you need to basically make it yourself, but apart from that I love it ! it is one of my go to face masks, and you really do feel your face pulsate like it says it would ! the reason I gave it 4/5 stars is that the taking off process is a bit annoying. I heard that it is not the best to wash the whole mask off in the sink if it is prone to clogging, so I just kind of peel it off in chunks as I put a thick-ish later on and then wash the rest off with warm water. I will probably repurchase this mask once it runs out as it really does draw impurities off your skin, pores, pimples them all !!! AZTEC SECRET - Indian Healing Clay

Sand & Sky mask- Review
After succumbing to the pressure of my social media feed, I ordered this mask a couple months ago and I hoped it would be the miracle cure for my stubborn acne. It’s a good product, but I will be trying some other mask rather than reordering. Pros: It definitely helps to clear pores, and while it does help with blemishes, it didn’t make them vanish like I had hoped. It can also be used as a spot treatment for blemishes. It definitely helped them to clear up faster, but again, no miracles. It goes on nicely and it didn’t dry out my skin. It does say it’s free of nasty ingredients, but it’s not on the Think Dirty app. Cons: This is a very expensive mask ($66 CAD plus shipping). If it had been as good as I hoped, it would be worth it, but it’s hard to justify spending so much. Is it a great product- yes! But does it live up to the hype- no. I don’t plan to repurchase, at least for now.
