One of the best exfoliating launches of 2020
New to the “Pro-Strength” line, this is a must from Peter Thomas Roth. It doesn’t replace a toner though, it’s a treatment! Great for acne prone or oily skin. You’ll need to build up your usage per week and ease into it. Packs a punch but balances, evens, and helps with acne SO WELL.

All I want for Christmas is you 🎄
I have heard amazing things about Peter Thomas Roth’s PRO Strength 10% PHA Exfoliating Clarifying Liquid. I have been using other products to clear my congested pores on my T-Zone area (mostly my nose and cheeks ) from comedones as well as blackheads. I am currently using The Ordinary’s AHA/BHA once a week and the Lactic Acid twice a week. I am in love with chemical exfoliating because I know it works so this seems like the product for me to at least try out. This isn’t the only thing I want for Christmas but it is top of the list! The Sephora website has some information on this product and it states: PETER THOMAS ROTH - Pro Strength 10% PHA Exfoliating Clarifying Liquid “An expert-level, daily leave-on exfoliating and clarifying liquid with 10 percent gluconolactone (PHA), five percent glycolic acid (AHA), and 0.5% salicylic acid (BHA). Skin Type: Normal, Dry, Combination, and Oily Skincare Concerns: Dullness, Uneven Texture, and Acne and Blemishes Formulation: Lightweight Liquid Highlighted Ingredients: - Gluconolactone (PHA) 10%: A polyhydroxy acid that provides gentle yet advanced exfoliation, clarifying acne-prone skin and helping to reduce the look of uneven skin texture and tone. - Glycolic Acid (AHA) 5%: An alpha hydroxy acid that helps improve the look of radiance, uneven skin tone and smoothness. - Salicylic Acid (BHA) 0.5%: A beta hydroxy acid that clears up and helps prevent acne, unclogging pores and reducing excess surface oil.”
Best product for acne prone skin
Hands down one of my favorite products for battling breakouts/acne/blemishes. This is @peterthomasroth ’s PRO Strength 10% PHA Exfoliating Clarifying Liquid. It’s a leave on, daily exfoliator that has glycolic acid (AHA), salicylic acid (BHA), and Glyconolacton (PHA) among other ingredients. I have been using this for about a month or two, and I’m very impressed with the results it delivers in a short amount of time. The first thing I noticed is that not only does it help to clarify the skin, it also helps to calm and bring down the irritation of the current breakouts. My breakouts tend to become red and irritated no matter if I touch them or not. When using this product, I noticed that the next morning, the redness of those breakouts would go down significantly. As far as its ability at clearing the blemishes, this product is the MVP. When my skin was breaking out like crazy few weeks ago, it took about three to four consecutive days of using this exfoliant (at night) before all the breakouts disappeared or greatly diminished in size. What I like about this product is that it doesn’t bring the pimples to the surface/to head, it simply flattens and makes them disappear. If you’re experiencing stubborn breakouts, and $58 is within your budget, I highly recommend you give this a try. I try a lot of product on day to day basis, and right now this is my favorite one for when I’m breaking out. . . . gifted

Blackhead and Acne Clarifying Pads
I love to use the Image Skincare Clear Cell Salicylic Clarifying Pads - particularly to spot treat where I may have the occasional hormonal breakout or in my tzone where I can tend to get blackheads every now and again. These will be great especially for oily and combo skin types. These are excellent at clarifying both blackhead and acne lesions and they literally work overnight! They are in the form of a saturated pad that are easy to swipe across the desired areas. There is a slight tingle which is meant to be expected from a product of this nature. The tingle fades after a few minutes and it has a strong scent of peppermint. The packaging is simple but closes up tightly to keep the pads from drying out. I think these are a great purchase for the price at $30 and especially for being a professional grade line. I’d give these a 4 out of 5 stars only due to the strong scent that could potentially put off some people.
Acne Fighting Mask! GREAT Spot Treatment
This acne fighting mask is packed with acne-treating ingredients to exfoliate, absorb extra oil and cleanse clogged pores. So what's inside? Sulfur 10% This is the maximum, over-the-counter grade of sulfur. It clears the skin and can prevent future breakouts! Kaolin and Bentonite Clays Absorbs excess oil and cleans the pores. Aloe Vera Calms and hydrates the skin. The mask can be used all over or as a spot treatment. I prefer to use it only as a spot treatment because it can be a bit drying for my whole face. It works really well for any kind of cystic acne by reducing size and redness. Retailing for $52 this 5 oz jar will last me forever! Even if used as a full face mask, only a thin layer is needed. I think I’ve found my holy grail spot treatment in Eradikate by @. Sulfur is great for spot treatments and I wish more people talked about it because it’s been SO effective for me. Now, the internet’s general consensus is that sulfur has a high PH and can disrupt the skin barrier, but since I’m only using it on a small, affected area it should be fine. Also, there’s the fact that every little blemish that has come up within the last two weeks have essentially disappeared. Like, literally last night I felt something COMING but it wasn’t visible and now it’s GONE.
Kate Somerville-EradiKate Acne Treatment
I decided to try the sample size of this product and I’m glad I did. PROs - there aren’t a lot of steps involved, wash your face and put it in on before going to bed - you don’t have to wash it off like many other acne products - the packaging is nice and let’s you control how much you want to pump out - it isn’t super scented - it was pretty good at stopping new blemishes CONs - it didn’t actually heal much of the acne that I already had - due to some of the ingredients it suggests staying out of the sun or wearing high SPF if you do or it could be damaging to your skin, which is pretty counterintuitive - some people find this evens their skin, mine didn’t. - I found it actually dried out my skin ✨✨✨/5 I think it would work for some people, but it isn’t the one for me.
