I’ve seen tons and tons of reviews on this product and this price point $65!! I’m allowed to have insanely high expectations. This isn’t advertised as a mattifying product, it does claim to control oils in your T zone. It didn’t do that at all... I followed my regular makeup routine and used Charlotte Tilbury - Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder
instead of my regular MAYBELLINE - Fit Me Loose Finishing Powder
And I was pretty disappointed. I was an oily mess about 4 hours in ☹️ Texture wise, it’s finally milled and the packaging is obviously gorgeous. Mine is in the shade medium. It didn’t add any coverage and I used a fluffy brush to set over my T zone and under eye. To be fair, I did try this on one of the hottest days of summer. I’ll continue using this product and update this review if anything changes! As of now, I feel there’s tons of better options out there for much much less 😬

I gave in
I’ve been hearing about Charlotte Tilbury products for a while now but they’re not cheap so I haven’t given in. Well after hearing so many people rave about the Charlotte Tilbury - Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder I gave in and got it as a Christmas gift for myself. The shade range is underwhelming to say the least I got my powder in shade #2. Overall I wasn’t blown away with this product. It is a nice powder it did blur my pores a little bit but as someone with normal/slightly combo skin this didn’t do much for the shine. For me it’s normal that after a couple of hrs of makeup my oils break through and it’s an easy fix but this product does claim to visibly reduce shine. I did see that Sephora now carries travel size version of this powder so if you’re interested in trying it I would say pick that up first to try.

🤪Glowy natural makeup when I’m late😌 (~10min)
SKIN TYPE: Very dry skin, eczema, sensitive and acne-prone all at the same time🙃🙃 Sometimes using prescribed cortisteroid ointments (Novasone) for eczema flare ups or reactions. PRODUCTS USED (in order): Primer I use e.l.f. - Poreless Putty Primer , it’s so cheap but acts as a nice bond/barrier between skin after skincare routine and applying makeup; it’s so good in preventing drying out my skin but it’s not very hygienic as fluff or dust gets stuck. Usually patting the primer into the skin and waiting a moment for it to melt into the skin. Foundation is a cushion #CHANEL - Vitalumiére Glow[products]#[FourStars] (#21), gives a shine upon application while still looking like natural skin. It’s a light to medium coverage and I find it doesn’t cling to my dry patches. I don’t use concealer most of the time but I do use the powder Charlotte Tilbury - Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder to set under the eyes, smile lines, nose contour area, chin and forehead. I don’t produce much oil through the day at all but I do sweat and the powder helps set makeup while still looking natural and doesn’t take away the glow too much. For the price though, there might be better cheaper alternatives🥺. Brows I usually use the innisfree - Auto Eyebrow Pencil or the ETUDE - Tint My Brows Gel New +benefit - 24-Hour Brow Setter Clear Brow Gel, the tint can last ~2-3 days so it saves time if I’ve already filled in and drawn my brows the night before😂. The only con is that on initial application the tint looks green-ish in the camera. #NARS - Original blush - Orgasm[products]#[FourStars] for the slight golden shimmer enhancing the glow of the cushion foundation, usually building it up for a slightly brighter flush of colour on the cheeks as the colour doesn’t show too much when you first apply it. Highlight usually the FENTY mini Kilowatt highlight in the shade Hustla Baby, it’s a golden sheen that really blends in with my skin tone and not too glittery while also blends in with the NARS blush. If I’m feeling extra then also lightly adding in the FENTY mini Diamond Bomb highlight. Eyeliner is the brownUZ - Eye Opening Liner Usually use various lengthening falsies or innisfree - Skinny Microcara Last but most crucial thing for me is the URBAN DECAY - All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray , it really pulls the whole look together, adding back some shine where I’ve powdered thus making the whole look more natural. Also with the spray I don’t have to worry about the makeup transferring or fading/melting away during the day unless 8+ hours. Lip products include: CHANEL - Rouge Coco Flash Lipstick(#212) #CHANEL - Rouge Allure Laque[products]# romand - Glasting Water Tint 6 Colors FENTY BEAUTY - Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer FENTY BEAUTY - Diamond Bomb Baby Mini Lip Gloss and Highlighter Set

This bronzer stick is a bit darker than my Golden Shinmer, and is a great one to use for contouring. It blends seamlessly, and applies like a dream! Also contains coconut oil in the middle to moisturize the skin! Shade is Bronze Splash!

Why must we use these?!?
Why must we use these?!?
Makeup has been changing and evolving constantly over the years. Now we have these wonderful new tools to help us stay flawless and fresh all day! For the newbie they can both be quite daunting. I was MASSIVELY naive when I purchased my first bottle of setting spray and received a sample of setting powder. BUT WHY?! TACKLING SPRAYS!!! 💦 Purpose- Also known as fixing spray, is meant to set your look and keep MAKE-UP MELTDOWNS out of your life! AKA sweaty face ruining your work of art 🖼🤗! There are so many options!!!!😳 You have to pick the right spray for you! Your skin type matters a LOT here! Dry Skin- steer clear of sprays w/ alcohol....obviously a drying component. Make sure there is some kind of moisturizing 🧴 ingredient! Oily Skin- Stick to oil free sprays that won’t clog your pores. Combo- can use matte sprays because they need to get the best of both worlds! But what’s my skin type?! Shiny skin w/ large pores= oily skin Matte skin w/ small pores= dry skin 1 of each??? Combo obviously!!!! I am a matte complexion with large pores in my T-zone. DO FORGET ABOUT THE CLIMATES!!! Humid/summer climate= matte sprays w/ SPF 🧴 to control shine AND protect against the ☀️ rays!! Arctic Tundra= get that hydration spray stat! TIP for APPLICATION Spray in a sweeping motion at a steady pace. About 6-8” away from your face. I like to go from above so it falls on my face. When??? Honestly at this point sprays are used everywhere! It used to be once after your completely done ✅...but like I said Make-up is ever always changing and now it has soo many uses! Whether you are doing the new viral hack on TikTok, spraying your beauty blender to apply foundation, spraying a brush to pack on that glittery eyeshadow, or still just using it as a finishing product, it is very versatile so DO YOU BE YOU BOO! ❤️🤗 You can also set brow brush before applying brow powder. Or to keep lipstick 💄 from smudging! Also there is science 🧪 to why letting it air dry is best. Do not use heat or blow dryers to make it dry faster. You may irritate your skin. Like baking, it’s a process. ON TO POWDER!! Also known as translucent powder, setting powder, contains talc and silica (drying ingredients) to help ‘wet‘ products, ie: foundation or concealer, to set in place. It prevents excess oil from producing, (shiny face friends). 🤗 Powder will mattify your look, just sweep 🧹 a small amount over face. Also powder it meant for baking! A popular process where a good amount of powder is pressed onto ‘wet’ product in specific areas like under eyes 👀 to give a lighter, brighter look. This process takes about 10-15 minutes, by then you should be done w/eyeshadow. The. Just gently brush away the eyeshadow dust and powder to reveal a bright a flawless look! The baking process also helps blur caking or creasing of product in the fine lines some of us live with! 🥰 Bake in other areas to add to you contour game as well! ❤️ So there you have it, lots of good reasons to use!

Another product that blew my mind, Wet n wild is a brand really cheap but they really work. This is a contour stick, it has two colors the bronzer and like a concealer one. It is creamy, it has different colors. It also really cheap and it’s worth it

DEWY $10 FOUNDATION FOR SUMMER (click for pics)
DEWY $10 FOUNDATION FOR SUMMER (click for pics)
COVERGIRL - Clean Fresh Skin Milk Foundation $10 🥥Why did I buy this product? This foundation kept popping up all over social media and I liked the fact that it was formulated with coconut milk and aloe extract. Also this product is formulated with out parabens, talc, etc that tend to clog your pores. 🥥What do I like about the product? This product has a dewy finish without looking greasy. Like it advertises, it looks like your actual skin with still giving a medium coverage. My freckles are visible but I can cover up scars with its buildable formula. 🥥What don’t I like about the product? The shade range could be more expansive. 🥥Who is this product for? This product is suitable for those with combo-dry skin as it does have a dewy finish. That being said if you have more oily skin, this product along with a good setting powder will work fine. I am in the shade fair/light which was a good match for me. ***Even though I wanted to, I did not edit my skin in the photo to show the true appearance of the foundation. I definitely recommend this foundations and am impressed at the quality for only $10💗

My go-to everyday makeup-only Colourpop products
My go-to everyday makeup-only Colourpop products
Today I want to share my go-to makeup that I usually do when I only need to go outside for class or shopping. And I am going to do this look using only Colourpop products. I think you can use anything you like and this is really easy to create. This look is like a cute and dewy makeup that emphasizes blush and glowy lips. Besides, I only use the Rocket Volume waterproof mascaras from Maybelline in recent years, so I will still use this one in this look. After sunscreen, I apply the No filter stix foundation-Fair 25w on my face and do double layers on dark circles, and then blend it with a beauty blender. This color is for fair skin with yellow undertones, and the coverage is pretty good but not thick or dry. Since it costs only $10, I really love it. Then I am going to apply the blush. I am using a blush stick called Pretty Thing, which is a dusty raspberry color. I will use the beauty blender to get the product and then apply on my face, in case I destroy my foundation. It is quite sheer, so I will apply for several layers on my cheeks and nose. The next step is bronzer, highlighter and eyeshadow. I use the Pressed Powder Bronzer-Privite Party and Pressed Powder Highlighter-Here Kitty Kitty. These powders are really blendable and only $7 each for a lot products. For my eyes, I will apply the bronzer in my crease and my outer corners, also underneath my eyes, then using highlighter in my inner corners and eyelids. The last step is applying lips. I use the Just a Tint lip crayon named Cherry Pickin, which is a sheer honey nude lipstick for $8. It is comfy, hydrating, and smells like candy. I will also use it as a lip balm sometimes. The whole look will cost only 10 mins and $40, which is really natural and affordable. I hope you enjoy it! COLOURPOP - No Filter Foundation Stix
