Hands down the best finishing oil 🙏
I couldn’t find this product to tag but it is available at Sally’s in Canada. This is hands down my favourite finishing oil after I straighten/ curl my hair. I’ve been using this for over 10 years and I can’t get enough! First of all, it smells so good!! It leaves my hair soft and shiny and protects it from environmental damage. It’s about $20 for this size and a little goes a long way! Use it to tame flyaways, or all over (minus the roots) when you finish styling your hair. It doesn’t leave my hair sticky or oily and the scent lingers. The best product for my hair!!
Setting Sprays for Oily Skin ☀️
Hands down, these are my top 3 setting sprays. I always have all of them in my collection as I use them for different reasons. Let’s go through each one below. MAC - PREP + PRIME FIX+ ROSE I won’t lie, I bought this because it a rose scented and I will buy anything that smells like roses. As an oily girl, I knew this wasn’t going to be my best option but I gave in anyway. And I’m glad I did! I use this to blend makeup in my skin and really give a flawless look. This is great for when you apply too much powder (guilty) and need to take it down a notch. NYX - Matte Finish Makeup Setting Spray aw the name suggests, it’s a great spray during the summer months or if I’m going to be out for an extended period of time and need my makeup to last. At this price point, I really have no complaints! MILANI - Make It Last Prime + Correct + Set Setting Spray this was the first drugstore setting spray I tried and I’m amazed! It has a pleasant feeling and works great for my oily skin! It also comes in a mattifying and dewy version to suit your needs. This one here is the original.

Holy grail moisturizer! 🦄
LUSH - Vanishing Cream is amazing for anyone with oily/ acne prone skin. It’s a lightweight cream with a nice texture and sinks into your skin easily. Key ingredients include rose water, witch hazel, grape seed oil, honey, and shea butter, amongst others. It also has a slight lavender scent that’s very soothing. I’ve noticed my skin has gotten more clear and smooth since I’ve been using this product. I use it morning and night as part of my skincare routine. It’s a little pricey for the small jar but a great product nonetheless! Try a sample from Lush!
Wow wow wow!! 🌝
I was waiting to use this product for a month to get write a review but 2 weeks in, and I am impressed!! I have oily/ acne prone skin. I scar very easily and more so than acne, I struggle with getting rid of marks to get an overall clear appearance. I use this toner every night after I wash my face. The directions say to put the toner on a cotton pad and apply all over. However, I think that’s a waste of product for me because I have a couple specific areas. I put the toner on a cotton pad and then hold it over my problem area for about 20 seconds so my skin can really soak in the product. 2 weeks in, and my spots have gotten lighter for sure! I will continue using the product and update this review when I’ve hit the one month mark 😬 OLE HENRIKSEN - Glow2OH Dark Spot Toner

Pillow Talk Medium 💄
Another Charlotte Tilbury product that’s just pure luxury. As always, I’m a sucker for packaging 😩 It’s a gorgeous shade and pairs perfectly with the Charlotte Tilbury - Matte Revolution Lipstick in the shade medium as well. It extended the wear of my lip colour and wore up beautifully. I hate when my lip liner wears off from the middle and leaves just the outside. Personal pet peeve! The lipstick and lip liner in medium 2 are not an exact match but pair beautifully together. Even for a steep price, I’d continue buying this. Probably just wait for the Sephora sale so I can get it for a bit cheaper 😬

Worth the money?? 👀
I’ve seen tons and tons of reviews on this product and this price point $65!! I’m allowed to have insanely high expectations. This isn’t advertised as a mattifying product, it does claim to control oils in your T zone. It didn’t do that at all... I followed my regular makeup routine and used Charlotte Tilbury - Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder instead of my regular MAYBELLINE - Fit Me Loose Finishing Powder And I was pretty disappointed. I was an oily mess about 4 hours in ☹️ Texture wise, it’s finally milled and the packaging is obviously gorgeous. Mine is in the shade medium. It didn’t add any coverage and I used a fluffy brush to set over my T zone and under eye. To be fair, I did try this on one of the hottest days of summer. I’ll continue using this product and update this review if anything changes! As of now, I feel there’s tons of better options out there for much much less 😬

Lately I have been using these 2 products together with my makeup looks, they go with almost anything as they’re natural browns! I usually love doing a lipgloss but I found a good drug store lipstick that has such a nice shine to it and it also lasts 🤩 REVLON - Super Lustrous Glass Shine Lipstick This lipstick is ‘toasting glasses’ by Revlon. It’s part of their new glass shine range which has got a beautiful shine and just melts to your lips so your lips feel hydrated as well. I found this stayed on for most of the day and when it wore off you could hardly tell as it didn’t go dry or patchy how some lipsticks do! I recommend to try this range if you haven’t already. In my last photo it shows my lips with this on, the lighting makes my lips look abit more pink/red but in natural light it’s actually a nice brown that melts into my own lip colour so it looks natural! (sorry for the bad lighting in that pic) MORPHE - MORPHE Color Pencil The Morphe lip liner I used is the colour ‘spiffy’. I love nude/brown lip liners, they always goes so well with many different lipsticks as long as it’s blended well! This pencil is pretty average but for $4 you honestly can’t go wrong, these liners are soo cheap!

Face make-up that looks like your skin
I finally found a make up routine that isn’t cakey and doesn’t make my skin an oily mess!!! I have been researching different tinted moisturizers/ bb/cc creams/ light coverage foundations for a few months now in hopes to find a make-up routine where I was able to look done-up but still natural and not cakey. I have oily skin and found that most “natural” looking make-up routines and products were extremely dewy in order to not look cakey but with my skin type (oily) I knew I wouldn’t be able to use dewy products. In the past I have been into full coverage foundations and thicker concealers such as tarte - Shape Tape Concealer - which I loved at the time but always found myself looking cakey once I stepped into natural light. SO.. finally I have found the perfect “natural” make up routine that looks like my skin but better and holds up on my oily skin! COLOURPOP - Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Tinted Moisturizer is BEAUTIFUL! I pair it with the COLOURPOP - Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Concealer and I look fresh, with an even natural skin tone. After applying I set the concealer and tinted moisturizer with a thin layer of the BITE - Changemaker Flexible Coverage Pressed Powder with a large fluffy brush. I honestly couldn’t give this concealer or tinted moisturizer a better review. If you’re looking for make-up that looks like your skin but better this is it. And depending on how much you choose to use, you can look like you’re not wearing any make up or look done up in a non cakey way. I am also really enjoying the BITE cosmetics pressed powder in this routine, as it also has a natural look when applied in a thin layer! I also think that this routine would be beautiful on any skin type as it’s moisturizing!

Stronger, softer hair? Today is a pretty busy one work-wise so last night I made a bit of an effort tame my otherwise pretty unruly hair with Olaplex No. 3. This at-home version of the brand’s famous in-salon hair strengthening treatment was hailed as something of a hair-saviour for those who don’t have the time or money for the full professional experience. Although recommended in conjunction with the salon treatment (which I’ve never tried), No. 3 can be used at home as a pre-shampoo treatment. Instead I simply massage this through damp, towel-dried hair around twice a week, before leaving it on anywhere from 10 minutes to overnight and washing and conditioning as normal. This (surprisingly small) bottle’s main ingredient is bis-aminopropyl diglycol dimaleate, an active ingredient which protect one of the bonds which hold hair together (disulphide bonds if you’re interested). These are the ones which protect the shape of hair formed as it leaves the follicle, as well as it giving it its elasticity and strength. Olaplex No.3 promises to strengthen and protect bonds in damaged hair strands, and for me it does deliver. Immediately after washing, even my ends feel stronger, and my hair overall is less fluffy and kinked. No. 3 is suitable for anyone who wants to improve their hair strength and can be used just once a week for those with less damage. Plus points: For me it absolutely delivers on its claims. It’s also paraben, sulfate, phthalate and cruelty-free, as well as vegan. Minuses: It really is a small bottle (100ml), but for me (bleached blonde), it’s absolutely worth it. Side note: Olaplex is very much designed as a strengthening treatment, not a hydrating one, so if dryness is your concern, make sure to use a moisturising shampoo and conditioner alongside

This or that brightening eye creams!
My skin type is overall very dry! And these eye creams are very different in comparison to how they help my under eyes! The first eye cream, the origins ginzing brightening eye cream has a very creamy texture, where the olehenriksen banana bright eye creme is not as creamy but is very thick! The origins is for brightening, depuffing, and refreshing! The olehenriksen is for brightening and hydrating! The origins is more drying and isn’t that strong at hydrating for my skin type! But It still works amazing, I think it is good for more normal or combo skin types! The olehenriksen is very hydrating and is super brightening that some days I can go without concealer because it looks like I already have it on, which is amazing! I think I would have to pick the olehenriksen as my favorite because of how it works for my skin type but both are amazing eye creams!ORIGINS - GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream to Brighten and Depuff #OLEHENRIKSEN - Banana Bright Eye Crème[products]#[FiveStars]

I’m so excited to share my thoughts on verbproducts Ghost Hair Mask with you. I’ve been a longtime fan of their Ghost Hair Oil, as it’s super light, colorles and gives my hair a beautiful shine. The Ghost mask is exactly what I envisioned it to be - the perfect compliment to the oil. I’m a faux blonde, so hair needs a ton of hydration. I love a hair mask that leaves my hair silky, soft and shiny, but doesn’t leave it feeling greasy or heavy. Verb’s Ghost Hair Mask does just that. It’s lightweight, rinses clean and gives my hair such a beautiful sheen. I have a hard time keeping the “fluff” in my hair at bay and this mask definitely helps to smooth my thick, puffy hair. If you love the Ghost Oil, you will adore this mask. Best of all, it retails for $16. Such a steal! This is one product that I’ll repurchase for sure.

There’s no better feeling, as a beauty junkie, than finding that perfect product that makes all of your dreams come true. For me, this amika Soulfood Nourishing Mask is a masterpiece. Firstly, Soulfood smells amazing! The scent lingers in my hair a bit after I use it and I find myself inhaling deeply when a breeze blows my hair around. It’s thicker in texture than most of my other hair masks, so I only need about a teaspoon to coat my shoulder-length hair. My hair has always been prone to frizz and it takes a ton of work to keep it under control, but Soulfood worked miracles for me. I have a TON of hair and almost always air dry it, but have to use hot tools to calm down the “fluff”. I was amazed at how smooth and shiny this mask made my hair after just one use (and I didn’t need heat to keep it in check). It was love at first use and the first thing I added to my Sephora basket for the sale. Everything I’ve tried so far from Amika has impressed me: Perk Up Dry Shampoo, Bust Your Brass Shampoo, un.done Texture Spray - all amazing!
