best & blah hair products @ Sephora 🌟
BEST & BLAH 👉🏻 Sephora Edition 😌🙌🏼 We all know the holy grail products we can find at Sephora. For me, I flock to the shelves for Ouai, a haircare line quite popular in the IG community 💡Before trying out their line, I was always skeptical of the value in their products. Come on, is this really worth it? I was an avid fan of it's a 10 haircare - Leave-In Conditioner Spray Product

how to revive unwashed hair (swipe for before!)
when I need to make my hair style last, this is my favorite duo! OUAI - Dry Shampoo Foam is unlike anything I’ve ever tried. the mousse satisfies the “wet” feeling you get from showering, but it dissipates quickly to leave clean, dry hair!! amika: - The Shield Anti-Humidity Spray this is awesome right before styling—it adds protection to heat, as well as helps maintain a frizz-free look all day!! tennessee summer approved! these steps are super easy, but really effective. the added volume of the dry shampoo makes your hair look freshly washed! anyone can do it!
I hope all of you beauties are having an amazing Sunday!!! Let’s talk about Ouai Super Dry Shampoo. We know that Ouai discontinued their oringal dry shampoo because they received so many negative reviews. This Super Dry Shampoo has been in the making for two years and is a massive best seller! You might already have a go-to formula but Ouai is definitely the brand that will make you break your loyalty streak. Hair Guru, Celebrity hair stylist, and founder of Ouai, Jen Atkin said” she knew the Ouai team was missing the perfect dry shampoo for girls with fine to medium hair who get super oily or who wanted to extend a few extra days before washing and this is it”. But is this really it? Is this just another new product getting all the hype?. The downside is that Ouai fans like myself remember the dry foam shampoo that they previously launched in 2017 , which was made for those with thick or curly hair. So why give this new super dry a go? Well due to the fact that I watched a video of Jen Atkin and her team hitting the subject of failure head on with the previous dry shampoo, I appreciated this. They made a video on Instagram and read negative reviews to the audience. I appreciate the humility she had & how Jen listens to her fans and buyers. I own almost every #Ouai product, so I had to give this a go. I have thick, thick longggg hair down to the middle of my bottom. Yep I said bottom. My hair is a pain, its heavy, it takes a good 25 mins to blow dry. But, Even though I want to chop it off at times, it probably is one of my best attributes and I am grateful. First off, the Super Dry has the sent of Ouai Perfume Melrose Place in it, so it’s like wearing perfume in your hair. Since I have black hair I hate the residue that most dry shampoo leaves in my hair and this didn’t. I sprayed a ton in my hair and didn’t get that stiff, starchy feeling. It gave me the volume I wanted without additional weight. I recommend this Super Dry Shampoo. I’m very excited to try out Ouai’s new Body Line, the cream and cleanser!

Honey Hair Heaven
So I have been seeing this hair oil on here ever since I started using this app 9 months ago. I had always wanted to try it, but the price tag kept me at bae. However, after becoming enthralled with Farmacy’s Honey line, and using a DIY honey hair mask, I knew that I needed these products in my life. Gisou’s owner, Negin, has a family owned and operated beehive! How cool is that? It makes me believe that this product contains the highest quality and freshest honey on the market. So how did I like it? Fragrance: Let me start by saying the fragrance, is fantastic. It revivals Sol de Janeiro’s Bum Bum Cream, which is my favorite scent of all my products. It has sweet honey notes, but also some floral that makes me nostalgic about my mom’s perfume. Texture: the honey hair oil feels less greasy than most hair oils and has some thickness to it. The mask is thick, rich, and creamy. It almost seems whipped. Hydration: the oil kicks dry hair’s butt! You only need to use a little bit and concentrate it on your ends if you are prone to getting oily. Tips and tricks: Oil: I use the hair oil as the last step of my post-shower hair routine. I only use it on the bottom 2/3 of my hair, concentrating on the ends. I only use 1-2 drops. Mask: the mask is to be applied to roots and ends, after shampooing, and left on for 5 minutes. It is also encouraged to mix a drop or two of the oil into the mask if you own it. Since this hydrating mask was applied to my roots, without using a product to help remove residue after, it left my hair a little weighed down. (I never use a mask on my roots without shampooing after, so this was no big surprise.) However, I found the perfect routine to fix this. I have to double shampoo because I have a medicated shampoo for my psoriasis that smells like 🤬 so I always follow up with a regular hydrating shampoo. I used this mask in between my 2 shampoos, so I could apply it to clean hair but also remove the buildup. I then followed up with a conditioner. If your hair doesn’t get weighed down easily, you might be able to use it per instructions, however, this method left my hair soft and hydrated without feeling weighed down! Just perfect 🤩
Gisou Honey Infused Haircare Set
gisou - Honey Infused Haircare Set gisou - Hair mask gisou - Honey Infused Hair Oil gisou - Honey Infused Conditioner gisou - Honey Infused Hair Wash I’ve been wanting to try this for SO long so I’m glad Sephora had a set of minis on sale! I’ve used this every day since Christmas and I love it! These all smell so good and have left my hair soft and hydrated. My favorite thing is the Honey Infused Hair Oil, a little goes a looooooong way and makes my hair so shiny and smooth. I absolutely love it! I’d want to try the bigger sizes and maybe the hair perfume too. And the primer. Just all of it. I’ll try all of it
How I keep my long hair healthy!
Some background on my hair: My hair is naturally straight. I naturally have dirty blonde hair and I used to get highlights up until about 5/6 years ago. I now dye my hair to the color seen in the pictures above. I do not dye my hair very often, but damage can occur with dyeing in general, so keeping my hair healthy is important to me! it's a 10 haircare - Leave-In Conditioner Spray Product I use this product almost everytime I wash my hair (I alternate between this and olaplex). This keeps my hair soft, smooth, and moisturized. I love it! OLAPLEX - No. 6 Bond Smoother Reparative Styling Creme this product has saved my hair from breakage and has made my hair super strong. You just need to be careful not to use too much because when I do it feels like I didn’t wash all the conditioner out of my hair. This product is amazing!! MOROCCANOIL - Moroccanoil Treatment this oil keeps my hair moisturized and shiny. I have used a lot of hair oils in the past and I’ve always come back to this one! JOSIE MARAN - 100% Pure Argan Oil I don’t wash my hair very often (only about 3 times a week to prevent over stripping). The night before it’s time to wash my hair I put a good amount of this stuff through my hair and sleep with it in. After I wash it out, I really do feel my hair is softer and shinier. Wet brush - Wet Original Brush I have used wet brushes for a while now and I really do think they make a difference. Hair tends to break off the most when it’s wet, so it’s important to be careful. These brushes are great at getting out tangles and making sure the hair stays healthy. Tips: -I try not to use too much heat on my hair, which really does make a difference -I trim my hair about every 4/5 months (only the very ends) to make sure my hair looks nice at the ends -I use silk pillow cases which help prevent breakage -I use hair towel turbans because towels can be stripping and cause breakage -use a hair mask once a week -use a scalp brush in the shower twice a week (helps get dry shampoo out of my roots and exfoliates). Of course everyone’s hair is different and not all products work for every hair type! These are just the products that have helped me reach my hair goals of having healthy, strong, and shiny hair! I hope this was helpful :)
Detangle With Me! 🧶
My hair was a hot mess. I have natural waves that aren't quite curly enough to be pretty by themselves. Every time before styling or washing my hair, I need to detangle my hair. I hate doing that. I felt like it was torture to brush it everyday. It was painful, stressful and feel like you are damaging your hair as well. And it is terrible when you actually see so much hair all over the place and feels terrible of losing so much hair as well. I figure this is the perfect time to share how I find out the best way to detangle my hair in my own way. And hope that would be helpful for you girls as well. Cus, trust me I know how much headache you are having. Find a good detangling brush. You have to use a nice brush that help you detangle your hair. This brush I have here, I’ve been using it for almost a year. Quo - Shine & Smooth Paddle Brush This brush is my favorite wet brush on the market. It is not the best perfect brush, but, it fulfills all what i need from a brush. It bends just enough to let go of the tangles that would normally result in a snarl on a different brush. There are few reasons I love about this brush: 1. It has nice sturdy handle which makes it super easy to work with; 2. It has long bristles, this really helps to get into tangles and knots to help detangle. 3. This brush can also be used to define curls. 4. Easy to clean it's a 10 haircare - Leave-In Conditioner Spray Product And I also recommend using a detangling product - like this detangling spay to help you work through. This spray has a very light consistency well actually watery due to its ingredients. It’s not sticky at all but smooths the hair right away after using it. This product significantly reduces the frizz. I’m surprised the natural airdrying still left my hair feeling very soft and shiny. The detangling properties are great, I can quickly tell if I forgot to apply it before trying to comb out my long hair.
Saying Goodbye 👋🏼
This past year I’ve been very aware of my purchases and also very cautious about what I’m bringing into my makeup/beauty collection. Every once and a while I will do a little bit of a declutter and make sure I’m only keeping the things that I’m using on a weekly, or at least monthly basis. This most recent declutter I noticed these two products and realized I haven’t reached for them in months. OFRA - OFRA Highlighter is a beautiful formula- it’s what makes these so many people’s favorite highlighter, it easily glides over the top of whatever product you have underneath and gives you an intense glow. The only reason I’m getting rid of this is because my taste in highlighters have changed and I now like much more soft, more of a “lit from within” type of glow. A couple highlighters that I love and give me this effect are the MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - Irresistible Glow Highlighter Collection & my ride or die MAYA CHIA - The Highlight of the Day The #SGX NYC - So Whipped[products]#[FourStars] is a whipped mousse formula that is supposed to calm frizz, define natural curls, and create a little bit of hold- I do think that this does all of these things, but it’s in the smallest way and I have so many other products that give me better results! Currently I’m obsessed with the eva·nyc - Mane Magic 10-in-1 Primer it smells unbelievable and gives my hair such a smooth texture without getting weighed down! The spray nozzle gives the lightest diffused mist so it’s very difficult to overdo it and use too much, highly highly recommend this one! I’ve found regular declutters and being deliberate about what products I bring into my collection really helpful. It’s let me find what my personal taste is and which products I’ll tend to gravitate for and will actually use on a daily basis!
Battle of the Budget 10-in-1s!
I’m all about low maintenance hair and saving money, so of course I have to review these 2 drugstore hair primers. I’ll be breaking down the winner by category and tallying the winner! Round 1: price- both are a standard 6 oz, but NYM is $7 while Eva is $12. Both are affordable but NYM wins this one. Round 2: texture- Eva is definitely the heavier of the 2 options, you can tell by the fineness of the mist. This is likely due to it’s high amount of oils in the ingredient lists, which is very good for moisture. Personally tho, since my hair is straight and fine, this tends to weight down my hair. Contrastingly, the NYM first ingredient is water which is probably why it’s lighter and cheaper. This round is a tie. Round 3: scent- Both of these are scented with fragrance showing up in the middle of the ingredients list. The Eva product is a stronger, fruity scent that is close to Viva la Juicy perfume, a personal classic of middle school. The NYM is also sweet, but closer to candy than fruit. It’s also lighter than Eva. This round is subjective for sure, but I give it to Eva since I prefer a strong scent if something is scented. Round 4: usage- by this I mean does it really do 10 things? Eva doesn’t list the 10 things on the bottle, but NYM claims to add body, detangle, add shine, protect, moisturize, control frizz, repair dry hair, heat protection, mend split ends, and create silkiness. I think a few of those are repeats, however the one it doesn’t follow through on is repairing dry hair. When I used NYM, I had to add an additional leave-in conditioner to keep my ends from looking dry. Eva doesn’t add body for me since it can make my hair look oily. Again, a tie! Round 5: flexibility- I find that I’m able to use NYM in more situations than Eva. With Eva, I only use as a heat protector since other usage tends to make my hair look wet or oily. I can use NYM as a detangler before I air dry, to calm down bed head, and to heat protect. This round goes to NYM! Results: I prefer NOT YOUR MOTHER'S - All Eyes On Me 10-in-1 Hair Perfector though honestly these products are pretty similar. I think the eva·nyc - Mane Magic 10-in-1 Primer would work well for someone with thicker or curly hair because mine couldn’t stand up to the oils. Neither are perfect holy grails, but good for the price.
Truly beginner🙌🏿 Invisible lace wig install with 8 steps
Dealing with my messy natural hair after waking up can take me ages until I cracked the code and found an easy way to have a gorgeous hairstyle effortlessly: Applying a lace wig! I love lace wigs as they look quite natural and comfortable to wear. Here is my easiest eight-step tutorial to apply a lace wig without glues: ✨Step 1: Cornrow the hair. I want to get my natural hair as flat as possible before applying my wig, so I usually cornrow my hair in the very beginning. ✨Step 2: Cut little pieces of the extra lace around the hairline for a more natural look. I love lace wigs the most because lace is so delicate and perfect for wearing that I can part anywhere I want. ✨Step 3: Put on my wig cap, then push a little back to expose about 1 inch of my natural scalp. ✨Step 4: Gently apply the wig, and match the wig part to my part. ✨Step 5: Comb the front hair and apply some mouses like ALTERNA - Caviar Anti-Aging Clinical Densifying Styling Mousseto the hair for a better shape. ✨Step 6: Secure the clips and strap to make the wig fit my head well. ✨Step 7: Spray some hair spray such as OUAI - OUAI Volume Spray to make the root lift. Then apply a scarf and tie it down for about 10 mins to make sure that the wig set in steadily. ✨Step 8: Put my lightweight and full coverage foundation to the parting line, followed by rubbing it with the comb's tail. After that, Dab some dark eyeshadows to the knot, making the gap between my natural hairline and the wig undetectable. I recommend FENTY BEAUTY - Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation for foundation and NATASHA DENONA - Blackest Black Eyeshadow Matte for eyeshadow. If you guys find my tutorial helpful, please go ahead and show your love girls xx!
Just wanted to switch it up and shout out the two brands that have been giving my flat, thin hair LIFE recently! . The amika 3D shampoo + conditioner are LIFE - CHANGING. It feels like my hair doubled in thickness after first use. . I’ve been in love with ouai volume spray and texture spray for a while now. My mini of the volume spray is almost gone so I’ll definitely be repurchasing ASAP! The texture spray doesn’t have much hold (which I actually like), but it adds a nice texture for that undone look! . .
Drying and styling hair is a big project…
Hair texture： Thin and soft，hard to be styled！ 😭 Drying and styling hair is a big project every morning after shampoo, especially for girls with long hair. One easy tactic that I found was to use wave spray before blow drying every inch of my hair, where drying and styling can both get done in a single procedure and saves so much time in a hustling morning. Wave sprays are easy to use. I simply apply the sprays throughout my hair, mainly in the hair roots, after shower, and blow my hair to dry. For my semi-curly hair, just a simple step of spraying can guarantee the wavy style and volumize my thin hair with hairdryer, and the natural and fluffy hairstyle could last for the entire day. I have been using OUAI wave spray in the last 2 years and like it a lot until I have got my new spray a few months ago. OUAI is an American hair product brand specialized in hair styling and nutrition. And my new spray is from Shiseido, a popular middle-high end skin and hair care brand from Japan. They both are in the same price range – for around $20 per bottle. To be fair, they both work very well in creating fluffy appearance of the hair, but after using the new product for months, I realized that there are obvious differences. In comparison, I found Shiseido works better for my hair type and lasts for longer. It is very apparent that the compositions of the sprays are different – OUAI wave spray is a liquid spray while Shiseido spray is made of powder. The powders made Shiseido spray so much easier to spread through the hair and is non-sticky. And because the powder is designed to resist the moist, the hair can stay fluffy and natural even in the evening, while OUAI spray only last for 5-6 hours in the summer until the fluffy hair falls back down. In conclusion, the powder spray is more suitable for the summer and especially for people who works long hours and still need their hair to look nice and fluffy in the evening, while OUAI wave spray is just enough to meet your basic need in styling. Unexpected results... not complaining!
I bought the HERBIVORE - Sea Mist Coconut + Sea Salt Beach Wave Hair Mist because my hair is thin and limp and wanted to add some texture and volume and maybe get some beachy waves. This spray did none of those things for me...then why do I love this product?!? Because it works amazingly as a hair detangler for after I come out of the shower and need to comb through all the knots! The hair detanglers I have used in the past have been leave-in conditioner sprays which have worked but leave my hair looking greasy (I have thin hair and don’t need conditioner)! This product doesn’t weigh down my hair at all and has a beautiful very light coconut smell. A bonus is that it comes in a huge glass bottle which will surely last me many months (and I use it everyday). If you’re looking for a spray that gives you some waves/ curls, I would recommend OUAI - OUAI Wave Spray instead. It works well to give me that beachy texture! The cons are that it leaves a slight crunchy feel to the hair and the bottles aren’t huge for the price point and doesn’t last long.
Gisou Propolis Infused Polishing Primer
gisou - Propolis Infused Polishing Primer This is easily one of the first products from Gisou that caught my eye because my hair doesn’t hold a curl very easy. This is supposed to prevent and diminish frizz, enhance texture, volume, and definition, and ensure a workable hold. The first time I used this i was surprised by the texture of it. I think I was expecting something waxy feeling (not sure why) but this was pretty gel like. It says to use a pea size but I used a little more and ran it through the ends of my hair while it was wet. I was super sleepy and not totally thinking so I braided my hair when it was definitely too wet so it didn’t really get nice waves in the morning because my hair was still damp, but I put it in a side braid and it held wayyyyyy better than any braid I’ve done in a while. I normally have chunks that slip out because my hair is so slippery and fine but this actually made it stay out! I can’t wait to try this out before curling my hair, or even doing braids the right way! You can use this wet or dry and you don’t need much, which is great!
Dealing with humidity hair 😱
If you’re like me and have hair that loves to expand in humidity and also live in a place with very humid summers, you know the struggle of finding products that take the fluff without making your hair look weighed down! I recently started using the gisou - Honey Infused Hair Oil and have found this to be the perfect tool for keeping my hair in check! The oil is a little thick at first but when you rub it between your hands, it thins out. I use one drop to cover all of my medium length hair and there’s no notice of an oily residue left behind. All it does is smooth down that top layer of fluff, and give my hair a really nice shine overall. It has a faintly sweet smell that doesn’t last very long. I will definitely repurchase because somehow this oil feels nothing like an oil on but does all the magic that an oil should! The gisou - Propolis Infused Polishing Primer has been nice but I haven’t had a solid chance to try it while heat styling my hair (which I haven’t done because quarantine life!!) when I apply this to my hair while it’s wet, it does seem to stop some of the frizz from happening as my hair air dries but I feel like it would best be used when blowing my hair out.
Glossy, Frizz-Free Hair for a Night Out
I have thick, wavy hair that is often a heavy puff of frizz, between my love of baseball caps and my lack of skill in styling. But my husband loves to take me out on dates and my go-to look for date nights is surprisingly easy: silky, glossy hair parted to the side. 1. Prep: I start by including amika: - 3D Volume and Thickening Shampoo and amika: - 3D Volume and Thickening Conditioner in my shower routine! This is my go-to shampoo and conditioner combo- it helps my hair retain movement but doesn’t make it unnecessarily frizzy. 2. Protection: After air-drying, I coat my hair in a thin layer of 2-3 pumps of amika: - Blockade Heat Protectant Serum to protect my hair from heat damage. 3. Separate: I take a moment to separate my thick af hair into three layers with a wide-tooth comb: crown, middle, nape. Crown is pulled into a small ponytail, then middle joins it- I use a clip to hold them up! 4. Straighten: I’m lazy and also clumsy, so I prefer the amika: - Polished Perfection Thermal Straightening Brush 2.0 to traditional stylers. It allows for an even heat distribution and easy experience that makes styling much less daunting for someone who burns themself with flat irons often. After slowly brushing through the lowest layer once, I let down the middle section. Slowly brush through it all again. Then the crown comes down and I brush through it all twice, making sure to begin towards my roots to help heat-tame the usual frizz. I add a twist to the brush whenever I near the ends, to give my hair more shape/movement. 5. Extra Gloss: Because I love hi-shine when I straighten, I rub a quarter-size amount of amika: - Glass Action Hydrating Hair Oil Universal Elixir between my palms and distribute it evenly over my hair, focusing mainly on my ends and the middle shaft of the hair. Done! Weightless shine!

How I deal with my thick, wavy, and frizzy hair
When I was little my hair used to be straight up curly. Over the years as I grew up (and as my emo phase raged on) I heat styled it to death so depending on how long I go without heat styling I have anywhere from curls to waves. Right now with my hair being so short it’s just simple waves. With it being so short in the back as well it makes it a lot easier for me to straighten it then deal with the waves. The first video is my natural waves I woke up with. I washed my hair the night prior and used the Amika Flash Instant Mask in the shower as well as the Chi Silk Infusion after I got out. The Chi Silk Infusion is something I use on my hair when I wash it regardless of length or curl phase it’s going through (it’s usually a lot curlier when it’s longer). It’s a gel/oil consistency that smooths the hair and makes it feel silky soft. Whenever I heat style my hair I always use the IGK - Good Behavior Spirulina Protein Anti-Frizz Smoothing Spray . I usually part my hair into sections, spray all over, and comb through (which you’ve seen me do in past videos). This smells amazing, acts as a heat protectant, and smooths down any excess frizz (which I get a lot of). Then I take my Paul Mitchell flat iron and iron my hair. I do this in three different sections so everything is straightened properly and I don’t have any waves or bumps. Then I take the OLAPLEX - No. 7 Bonding Oil which I just started using recently. I was surprised with how lightweight this oil was and how it didn’t make my strands feel greasy or weighed down no matter how much I used. It feels silky smooth and I’ve noticed a lot less frizz when I use this product in the ends. This is how I deal with my hair on a normal basis. When it was longer I would usually throw it up in a bun with a head band but with it being so short I can no longer do that. Being shorter with all the smoothing products and heat styling it makes it a lot easier for me to manage throughout the day.

My hair routine
Here is my post shower hair routine! I have dry hair from being bleached and colored, I also have dry scalp and typically wash my hair twice a week. My hair is fine but I have a lot of it so when put together it’s pretty thick. I have a lot of breakage and it creates frizz Product list: MOROCCANOIL - Treatment Light OLAPLEX - No. 7 Bonding Oil R+Co - Waterfall Moisture + Shine Lotion OLAPLEX - No. 6 Bond Smoother Reparative Styling Creme amika: - The Wizard Detangling Primer I start with a 2 pumps of Moroccan oil mixed with a few drops of the bonding oil. Smoothed with focus on ends. Then a dollop of waterfall moisture cream followed by dollop of the bond smoother. I top off with the wizard detangling primer- this is an oil based product and if not careful if you use too much your hair will look and feel greasy so use sparingly! I also only use this product when I know I’ll be heat styling my hair. I hope you enjoyed seeing my routine! All these products I picked to help smooth frizz, moisturize hair, and strengthen the hair to protect against breakage. Also to protect against heat damage.
OLAPLEX-No. 6 Bond Smoother Reparative Styling Creme
Keeping my blonde bright & shiny with orlandopita’s Ampli-tint Color Depositing Hair Mask & Recast Tinted Oil Spray Glaze. I’m always trying new products that will help to rid my hair of those brassy tones and the cool blonde ampli-tint mask just made it to the top of my list. I’m all about purple shampoos, but purple conditioners usually don’t do it for me. This product, however, actually does deposit enough pigment to make a serious dent in the warm tones in my hair. If you’re not blonde, Orlando Pita still has you covered with a range of shade options to keep your color bright (shown here in cool blonde & golden blonde).
Beach Waves Hair Routine 🌊💛
Lazy Girls Guide To Beach Waves! It’s taken me quite the time to figure out a routine that’s simple but also gives my hair great body, volume, and waves! The first two products I apply into my hair as soon as I get out of the shower and after my hair is towel dried. I use one pump of the Redken Anti-snap to help with my bleached ends and to protect against how often I straighten it. I use two pumps of the TR miracle creator to help nourish my hair as it air dries, leaving it shiney, smooth, less frizzy, and hella moisturized. The main product contributing to my luscious waves is the Paul Mitchell Neon Sugar Twist Tousle Cream. This, which I follow with a small dot of Thick&Full Oil treatment for a little shine, and the Sugar Tease is what I tussle into my hair once it is ALMOST completely dried. Per the directions of the sugar tease, now would be the time to blow dry with a diffuser. I’ve noticed continuing the air drying process after this works just as well! 💕
REDKEN-Extreme Anti-Snap Leave-in Treatment for Damaged Hair
My current haircare hero's! Aside from those I've recently spoken about 😂 I've still not found a shampoo and conditioner better than these from Function Of Beauty! What makes them so special? They're bespoke, made especially for me, based on a number of questions about my hair type & requirements. • ⭐ Bumble and bumble B6 Pret-a-powder is the ultimate dry shampoo. It's so light and fine, it doesn't give hair that crispy feeling like some other dry shampoos. Plus it's great to a volume to your roots too! I've had this mini bottle for ages - it lasts really well. • ⭐ Color Wow Dream Coat is fantastic for the odd occasion that I blow dry my hair. It literally coats hair in a protective layer that smooths and shines like you wouldn't believe! It's amazing stuff. • ⭐ Most of the time I'm too lazy to blow dry my hair though, so I got to bed with it damp in platts. This is when Tina Cassaday Banana Blossom Elixir comes in handy. I smooth a pump of this delicious smelling serum through my damp hair to help tame it. • ⭐ Ouai Finishing Crème is the most amazingly scented cream that tames hair whilst still being super light! It really does give hair a polished, sleek finish. • ⭐ My Mason Pearsonbros brush - I'm so happy to have one of these back in my life! You can't beat boar bristle to give hair a healthy natural shine. I went with a bristle and nylon combined brush as my hair is super thick. The nylon gets through more of your hair. A perfect combination!

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity.
