BANISH Vitamin C Serum & Pumpkin Enzyme Masque
BANISH - Vitamin C Serum I’ve never been into serums or oils because they tend to leave my skin feeling greasy. However, this Vitamin C Serum is so lightweight and smooth that it feels like applying a moisturizer/water to my face. I’ve also noticed, in the past month or two, that when paired with my BANISH - PUMPKIN ENZYME MASQUE , my dark spots and hyperpigmentation have faded and become more even-toned. The masque has a tingle sensation, is lightweight, and smells like pumpkin pie. Not to mention, after rinsing the masque off, my skin is left with a cooling effect. BANISH has an active acne kit that contains the two items listed above as well as a banisher 2.0 ( micro needle stamp ). It is cheapest to purchase one of the kits, because products sold individually are very expensive. The Vitamin C Serum costs $49, while the pumpkin enzyme mask costs $39. The Serum is said to contain Glycerin, 99.9% Pure Grade L-Ascorbic (Vitamin C) acid, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Certified Organic Filet of Aloe Vera), hamamelis virginiana extract (made from Certified Organic Witch Hazel) Ferulic Acid, Tocopherol (Vitamin E),Rosa Centifolia (Rose) Flower Water, Rosehip Oil, Grapefruit Seed Extract, and citric acid. The Masque is said to contain Pumpkin Fruit, Organic Bilberry Fruit Extract, Organic Sugar Cane Extract, Organic Orange Peel Extract, Organic Lemon Peel Extract, Glycerin, Tetrasodium EDTA, Vitamin E, Phenoxyethanol, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Xanthan Gum, Vitamin C, Glycolic Acid, Neem Seed Oil, Rosemary Leaf Extract, Cinnamon Bark Powder, Ginger Root Powder, and Nutmeg Powder. All products are travel size friendly, cruelty free, and vegan. Overall, the quality of the products are AMAZING, but are too expensive for their size ( hence the 4 star rating ).
BEST MORNING MASK 🤯
Loving this pumpkin enzyme mask from Banish to help target these trouble areas: hyperpigmentation skin texture congested acne prone skin this mask’s ingredients list includes: 👉🏻 AHAs 👉🏻 glycolic acid 👉🏻 REAL pumpkin enzymes INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: it’s recommended to use this mask 1-3 times per week. skin may tingle in the first minute or two which is normal! each batch is made to order so it remains fresh when it ships out to you 🥰🌱✨ MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: i LOVE this mask for a chemical exfoliant that’s a little more gentle than the mainstream BHA + AHA peeling solution from The Ordinary. it smells like pumpkin pie & applies like pumpkin. it’s gentle enough for multiple uses & i found improvement in my skin after using consistently for 1 month. * progress pics to come! Self Care = A Glass of Wine and A Good Face Mask
🌹After a long day of work and a night full of homework, I typically want to just call it a night and pass out. Tonight, I’m happy to report, I actually made it a point to perform a little self care. Yay me! 🍷ORIGINS - Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay has been a staple in my routine for a few years now and I have never had anything work more effectively on my large (and I mean LARGE) pores. It also does an amazing job of gently exfoliating, and as soon as I wash this off my face my skin is soft and smooth. 🌹This mask utilizes a mix of two clays: kaolin clay, which cleanses and draws out impurities from the pores without irritating your skin, and montmorillonite which works well to absorbs excess oils. Its also packed full of essential oils like grapefruit peel oil that exfoliates the skin, and oils that help fight acne and bacteria like lavender, geranium, clary and anthemis oil. 🍷Since clay masks are intended to absorb excess oil, they are especially beneficial for those with oily and combination skin. I typically only use this on the oily parts of my face since clay masks tend to be a bit drying, but tonight since I was a bit naughty and fell asleep in my makeup TWO nights in a row (and broke out like crazy) I used it all over. 🌹Remember this mask pulls double duty (purifying and exfoliating) so make sure to adjust the rest of your routine for the week so that you are only exfoliating 2-3 times per week total (that’s including any other chemical or physical exfoliants that you are currently using.) 🗣Let me know which pore cleansing masks you love. I always like to try new products!
Skincare Strugglebus 🚌
So I had a good, simple routine for a long time and my skin was great! Then I moved and now my skin is so much different. I’ve been using tons of products trying to get results but I think I’ve been tormenting my skin and not giving any one product enough of a chance to do it’s thing so I’m trying to simplify. Right now my skin is dry, dehydrated, red and bumpy and my pores have gotten huge and black and icky and I’m really frustrated. I like to think that I’m knowledgeable about skincare but I still have a lot to learn. If you have any thoughts on my current products that would help the most! I have a lot and need a real routine. AM routine: Rinse my face with water. If I’m oily (which isn’t often) I will go in with THAYERS - Lavender Facial Toner but only on my t-zone, my cheeks can’t handle it. Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Gel-Cream VERSED - Daily Mineral Sunscreen Broad Spectrum a little greasy but non irritating and only if I go outside. PM: FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm only if I wear makeup and spf For cleansers I’ve been using DRUNK ELEPHANT - Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser Deluxe Sample YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser Too Faced - Hangover Wash The Day Away Gentle Foaming Cleanser I also have a sample size of belif - Aqua Bomb Jelly CleanserI haven’t used and sometimes I will VERY GENTLY scrub with fresh - Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash I have 3 different toners, I use fresh - Rose Deep Hydration Toner but it’s started to sting a bit with all the fragrance. I just purchased LANEIGE - Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizerand also GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow PHA+BHA Pore-Tight Tonerwhich I want to incorporate instead. Maybe alternate? I loved FARMACY - Very Cherry Bright 15% Clean Vitamin C Serum with Acerola Cherry but I think it went bad bc it stings so much now. I use PEACH & LILY - Glass Skin Refining Serum every day but I might switch to DRUNK ELEPHANT - B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serumthoughts? YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream with Ashwagandha + Reishi never switching! other products I own: YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask LANEIGE - Cica Sleeping MaskGLOW RECIPE - Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping Mask ORIGINS - Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream I DEW CARE - Cake My Day Hydrating Sprinkle Wash-Off Mask DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream
Origins Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay
ORIGINS - Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay My skin: dry/combo What this product is: a clay mask made with Mediterranean rose clay, Canadian willowherb and jojoba beads What this product does: purify skin, shrink pores, gently exfoliate to refine texture, boost radiance Cost: $34 CAD for 75ml / 2.5oz Texture: clay with microbeads My experience: I use this mask on my nose and on my forehead area above my brows and it’s really effective at shrinking pores and smoothing out my skin as well as calming down any redness/irritation/mini red bumps that come up occasionally. Would I recommend: yes! I think it’s an effective mask and it would be a food addition to have in your collection to pull out whenever your T zone (or for those with oilier skin, your whole face) is in need of some extra care for pores, dullness, texture or uneven skin. Is it worth it: yes! Factoring in the amount of product you get, it’s effectiveness, and how long this lasts, I think it’s worth it! However, if you don’t opt for clay masks often enough to justify purchasing this full sized one, it also comes in a mini travel size version so you could use it without having to commit to the full sized product.
ORIGINS-Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay
For all you clay mask lovers, the Original Skin™ Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay is a solid option at a very affordable $26 for 2.5oz or $13 for 1oz. This two-in-one purifying mask draws out impurities and gently exfoliates to refine skin’s texture and boost radiance. Made with Mediterranean rose clay, Canadian willowherb, and exfoliating jojoba beads, it helps gently deep clean while refining skin's texture. Pores appear to vanish and clarity is restored for a radiant youthful-looking complexion that's silky-smooth to the touch. The only then big I don’t love about this mask is that it does dry down fully and I prefer a clay mask that stays soft and hydrating for the skin. Great for oily skin, donors and uneven texture or congested pores. ORIGINS - Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay

Sand and Sky Porerefining Face Mask
What is it? This is a pore refining kaolin clay mask that can be used 2-3x a week to clean out pores, reduce oiliness and help resolve breakouts while brightening the skin tone. This is good for normal, oily, combination and dry skin types. Main ingredients are kaolin clay, aloe leaf juice, licquorice root extract, kakadu plum witch hazel, lactic acid and many more. My experience: I’ve been using this pink clay mask for about 2 or 3 months now. It claims to detoxify your skin, refine pores and brighten the skin tone. I’d say it does just about everything it claims. First off it comes with an applicator brush which is CRUCIAL to me. I love it. It is not as drying as other clay masks, it’s SO EASY to wash off, it smells so good imo, and my skin is all around clearer and more even after using. This is one of the best masks I’ve tried and im very particular about masks. The mask literally clears out my pores making my skin feel and look so much cleaner. I would not use this if you have sensitized skin as it is a clay mask and could be a bit much for the skins barrier. It uses Kakadu plum as a rich source of vit C to help brighten and i swear after each use my skin is a lot brighter and overall happy with me. It helps clear congestion i usually get on my forehead and around my nose. My pores appear smaller after using too, which means this mask is really getting the stubborn stuff out. The mask retails for 49.90 USD but the tub lasts quite a while as I’m just about half done with mine at the almost 3 month mark. I’d recommend this mask to anyone who gets those pesky breakouts and just needs to refresh and reset their skin! (Cherie doesn’t have the sand and sky products on here yet) So, my Cherie rating: 5/5 starsSAND&SKY - Australian Pink Clay Porefining Face Mask

Another origins winner
ORIGINS - Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay This is a retexturizing clay mask from Origins. It’s supposed to gently exfoliate, make pores look smaller and draw out impurities. It’s contains rose clay and it’s this really pretty pink. The texture is also nice, it has small beads in it. The mask is creamy and a little chunky but easy to apply. It dries down after a bit but doesn’t tug at the skin. When you wash it off you feel so refreshed and glowy. The beads can be a little too harsh for my taste which is why it lost a point, along with the ingredient list that contains essential oils. But overall I really like this mask and was one of my favorites for a while. I’ve grown apart from this finding others but now writing a review about it it brings back how much I actually love this mask. I know there are minis of this so I suggest trying it if you haven’t already!
ORIGINS-Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay
🎀 for lovers of all things pink 🎀
ORIGINS - Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay Origins are the OG of masks, PERIOD. This one is no exception! I picked this up because my skin (combination, wide pores) was in need of some retexturizing after a period of trying new products. The first time I tried this mask, I was shook. It smoothed almost immediately, and left skin feeling so clean and clear. However, this mask’s effects did not last too long for me. I only got rid of the texture after investing in some new long-wear products. While this mask is great to clear pores and smooth complexion immediately, it will not permanently resolve your texture issues 🤷🏽♀️ But I do recommend it, as I recommend most Origins masks. They are fabulous, affordable and super effective 🥰
ORIGINS-Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay
My favorite product to clear my pores!
The olehenriksen cold plunge pore mask is a detoxifying, cooling clay mask that instantly reduces the look of pores, smooths skin texture, and controls oil all day! This mask can be used for oily, normal, combination, dry, and sensitive skin types which is amazing! This mask is also such a pretty teal color which is so fun to use and put on your face! This face mask can be solutions for pores, dullness and uneven texture, and oiliness. The texture of this is creamy and thick and feels so soft on my face! This has such amazing ingredients such as snow lotus, antioxidant rich botanicals, and alpine willow herb. It also has neem seed oil to help refresh and replenish the skin! I absolutely enjoy this mask so much and would have to give it a 5 star review for how well it works! I have had this for about 7 months now and have used it so many times and am about to repurchase! My friend gifted it to me and I knew I would love it to begin with! It is super hydrating and never has made my face dry at all! I saw great results such as no acne, hydration, and best of all it blurred my pores so well! I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for an amazing pore product! It is so worth the $36 because it comes with 3oz which is a pretty good amount for this amazing mask!🌿🐬OLE HENRIKSEN - Cold Plunge Pore Mask
