This years Sulwhasoo limited edition refillable compact was created in collaboration with Antoinette Poisson. Sulwhasoo is a Korean luxury skincare & cosmetics company, known for their “ 한방 /Hanbang “ (traditional, holistic Korean medicine) formulations. ‘A Paris chez Antoinette Poisson’ is a world renowned design house inspired by 18th Century decorative arts & production techniques. Founded in 2012, the collective produces exquisite printed papers, decorative objects & fabrics from their atelier in Paris. Named after Louis the XV's favorite mistress, The Marquise de Pompadour, both patron of the arts & wallpaper enthusiast. Sulwhasoo - Limited Edition Perfecting Cushion 2020 Spring Collection
🧵So beautiful... & plush, just like a real pin cushion! For this limited edition compact, the studio of artists at Antoinette Poisson reinterpreted traditional Korean symbols of love, prosperity & happiness in colorful & metallic embroidery. Both limited edition & regular Sulwhasoo cushion compacts retail for $65 & come filled, plus 1 refill. This is no longer available on Sulwhasoo’s site, but online stores like Bergdorfs, Nordstrom & Bloomingdales still have it in a few shades! I included some pictures of gorgeous ones from years past in my slides🦋🦌 Now onto the formula! Sulwhasoo - Perfecting Cushion Broad Spectrum SPF 50+ Sunscreen
shade: 23 I didn’t know if the shade I purchased was going to be correct, but I really wanted the limited edition compact! I figured I can grab a refill in another shade later. I was extremely impressed by this! I love that it has SPF 50 from a mainly mineral source & the moisturizing formula has Niacinamide as the 8th ingredient. Other botanical extracts include, Honey, Sacred Lotus flower, Peony, Solomon’s Seal, White Lily & Rehmannia. In addition to the shade concern, I was worried it would be too high coverage or too dewy for my liking based on some descriptions of the product. It boasts patented “Slim Fit High Coverage” claiming to “conceal discoloration & uneven tone as it lightly applies to skin...” Fancy descriptors can be really confusing, & often cushion compacts offer lighter coverage in general, so I still decided to try this based on so many 5⭐️ reviews on their site. I was looking for an easy to blend, light-med coverage, that would even out my tone & add radiance... this is IT! So natural!✨ I couldn’t be happier with the formula! It has a lovely soft herbal scent with a hint of light florals. So pleasant, not strong. Hydration wise, it’s very comfortable to wear & apply. My skin felt moisturized all day wearing this. After 5 hours, I could have used a light touch up, but nothing major (check all photos) I didn’t lose any coverage, just got a little shiny around my nose, quite normal for me. I don’t think the shade is that wrong either, it blends so well, & I hate looking pink! The finish is perfect, smooth & radiant, not overly matte, so I feel healthy & glowy! i💚the refill concept♻️

Trying to organize a little bit... My sink top is usually a bit cluttered, so let’s talk about the cabinet! Just like a cute little skincare closet🤎 I’m not usually one to stock up, but between moving to a rural area, quarantine & some gifts, it happened. I have some friends that hoard their favorites when there’s a sale or fear of apocalypse.... Apocalypse aside, I really don’t recommend “stocking up” Running out of a crucial product sucks, but overstocking can be problematic. I acquired more treatments than I know what to do with lol, & if they stay locked away I’ll never remember to try them! Another big issue is expiration dates as well as ingredients/actives that are sensitive to light, heat or humidity. Products with organic ingredients/products free of preservatives will definitely be sensitive to these elements. Some actives, like vitamin C are notoriously unstable, loosing some of their stability & potency over time. If not stored in cool, dark & dry conditions, it can speed up oxidation, causing the degradation of the molecule. This can lead to simply a waste of money or serious skin irritation! I recommend keeping any vitamin C products out of the sun, especially if they have a clear bottle. A few favorites I have back ups of: (check previous posts for full reviews) #HERBIVORE - Amethyst Exfoliating Body Scrub[products]#[FiveStars] the best jasmine scented body scrub💜 giovanni - D:Tox System Purifying Facial Mask charcoal & volcanic ash mask🌋 TONYMOLY - 62% Alcohol Aloe Hand Gel candy pear scented hand sanitizer🍐 SHANGPREE - Diamond Luminous Cream a super luxurious Niacinamide cream💎 unpa.Cosmetics - Bubi Bubi Lip Ampoule just reviewed this, my new favorite!🌹 A few things I’m really excited to try, & can’t wait to share my experience/review with you guys❤️Drop me some tips in the comments if you’ve tried any of these or have any questions about the others😊 HERBIVORE - Prism Exfoliating Glow Duo TONYMOLY - Strawberry Nose Pack ETUDE - Moistfull Collagen Eye Cream ETUDE - SoonJung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream Elizabeth Arden - Vitamin C Ceramide Capsules Radiance Renewal Serum Kaja - Brow Blowout Fiber Gel Brow Definer ALGENIST - ALIVE Prebiotic Balancing Mask NEOGENLAB - Real Vita C Powder Lemon ⬆️ powder Vitamin C is more stable than liquid forms & doesn’t degrade in sunlight as easily. I look forward to writing these reviews for you! PS💌 a few others in this post... New Year’s Eve look!
To me, NYE is all about shiny and shimmery things, so I decided to go with a subtle gold shimmery look! I am by no means an eyeshadow master, so this is my best attempt, please bear with me! I just dabbed a little eyeshadow on my finger, and dabbed it onto my eye. I used BOBBI BROWN - Eyeshadow to fill in my brows. I used #Burt’s Bees - Nourishing Eyeliner Pencil[products]#[FiveStars] in warm brown to give natural definition to my eyes and COVERGIRL - LashBlast Volume Mascara for my lashes. I used my favorite SHISEIDO - Shiseido Eyelash Curler to lift my lashes. I didn’t use any concealer or foundation today, so my HIP marks were showing, but I put some BOBBI BROWN - BOBBI BROWN Bronzing Powder on my cheek bones, some Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color along my cheeks, and some BOBBI BROWN - Shimmer Brick Highlighter on the high points of my cheeks and the tip of my nose.

🕷🐈‍⬛🕯Friday the 13th & feelin cute!🕯🐈‍⬛🕷
I try not to be superstitious about a day or a number, but I still find myself thinking about it🤔 🍂It’s really feeling like Fall! Had the first snow of the season the other day, but now it’s just raining a lot🌧 Before I took better care of my skin, I rarely took selfies without makeup on, I just didn’t feel cute. Now I feel cute with a glowing face full of skincare & have kinda ditched makeup (which personally, also helped my skin tremendously!) I felt extra cute today & just wanted to chill & get cozy, but we have guests right now, so I decided to throw on my fav mascara & gloss for fun. ➡️ Everything on my skin, lashes & lips is in the next photo. GIVENCHY - Phenomen’eyes Mascara Is my ultimate favorite mascara! I truly miss the brown shade this used to come in, but that’s just me, loved it for my lashes (& brows when I was lazy) The brown shade was not great for every look, but it was so soft & natural looking. This black shade is your basic, classic black, I’m just so in love with the formula & applicator. 🏰The comb reminds me of that medieval spikey ball weapon thing. Love it. It makes it super easy for me to control where I’m applying, & keep it light, feathery & clump-free (my personal preference for an everyday mascara look) I love how i can just sort of “kiss” my lashes with this product, especially the bottom line, so effectively. ✔️You can definitely get a more dramatic effect with this mascara if that’s what you’re going for! 🖤The thing I love most is how the formula really holds my curl throughout the day! My tricks for lashes is start with a great curler. This will be different for everyone, because we all have different eye shapes. My eyes are not deep set at all. My lashes aren’t particularly long, but my lashes sometimes graze the inside of sunglasses for instance... My perfect eyelash curler has a less pronounced curve than most standard American market curlers, which helps get me the perfect curl with no pinching at all! 🛍I also use a FREE spoolie (yes I’m that bitch at Sephora) to comb out any clumps. SHISEIDO - Shiseido Eyelash Curler I also always have these on hand, so I’m never with a cracked/split one, save your eyes from injury & hidden bacteria: SHISEIDO - SHISEIDO Eyelash Curler Pad I wish Sephora carried these! They’re only $6/2 pack-but annoying/wasteful to buy without free shipping-unless I buy tons lol. *i always curl BEFORE mascara! As the mascara is kinda drying I use clean fingers to sort of push them up to curl a bit more & have it hold! ⚠️You may be tempted to use a curler at some point AFTER mascara. Though I did it 1,000x without incident, the one time I pulled out over half my top line was it for me! Proceed with caution. DIOR - Lip Glow Oil So moisturizing & not sticky! Lips look alive & plump!💕 NEST FRAGRANCES - Bamboo Candle 🕯Jasmine/Amber vibes, warm, perfect for Fall🍂

My cheap daily products
My cheap daily products
Everything is from either Walmart or Ulta and under $15! With the exception of my AOA BB Cream in shade Medium that was $1 as well as AOA Artista $1 felt tip eyeliner in Brown (for some reason brown eyeliner is just so much more forgiving). I use the found contour palette for all over setting power & all 3 colors work great with my medium skin. Essence 16 hour eyebrow pencil on my brows and under my eyes. On my lips are just a cheap pink lip gloss. Better Than Sex mascara mini I got as a sample from Ulta & good to go! Oh, and a smoky eye palette from e.l.f.❤️

Engagement photo prep
Engagement photo prep
Found the perfect look for my engagement photos since stores aren’t doing makeovers! Face: MAC - Prep + Prime Natural Radiance Primer I use this all over my face and then layer the e.l.f. - Poreless Putty Primer where I have larger pores DIOR - BACKSTAGE Face & Body Foundation I’m absolutely loving this! It feels like I’m not wearing anything and is the perfect match! I can use a few drops and my fingertips for a really light look, and it’s easy to build up to medium or full coverage. Looks like skin! Milk MAKEUP - Lip + Cheek got the mini version at Sephora and love it! I had used the glossier cloud paint before but it disappeared on my face. This blended beautifully. Eyes: e.l.f. - Shadow Lock Eyelid Primer great primer! Enough said. MILANI - Most Wanted Eyeshadow Palette I really like the colours in this palette, but I wish it had a bit more colour payoff. MAC - Extended Play Perm Me Up Lash Mascara I’m obsessed with this mascara. Seriously the best I’ve tried. benefit - Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Eyebrow Gel it’s an og favourite of mine Lip: MILANI - Amore Satin Matte Lip Crème I like the colour and feel of this, but it’s not transfer proof at all so I might look for another option so my fiancé doesn’t get it all over his face. Anything you think I should add to this look?

This really is the makeup I do for every video conference call I’ve had since I started working from home - brows, a winged liner, mascara and a nude lip. the cutest BLUSH! 💕
the cutest BLUSH! 💕
I am in love with thisKaja - Cheeky Stamp Blendable Blush and I can’t stop using it! I’ve always been a huge blush fan and I’ve tried so many different kinds from pressed powders, cream blushes, liquid blush, etc. So when I saw this HEART SHAPED STAMP BLUSH from Kaja on the Sephora website, I knew I had to try it out. It’s one of the most unique makeup products I’ve ever discovered and definitely the cutest blush I own. 💕 THE BLUSH 💕 This is a cushion blush with a sponge applicator in the shape of a heart! This product is formulated without parabens, sulfates, and phthalates. 💕APPLICATION / HOW TO USE IT 💕 This blush comes with a twistable top that has the heart sponge applicator and a bottom pot with the blush cushion color. APPLICATION STEPS 1. Twist off the top (and admire how cute the heart is) 2. Open the bottom with the color 3. Press the top part with the heart sponge down into the cushion blush pot so it can absorb the color 4. Press it onto your cheeks! 5. You can then use your fingers to blend it into your skin and apply more for the desired color opacity! TIPS One stamp gives a nice natural flushed glow, two or more gives a brighter blush look. (Personally, I like to apply as much blush as possible before I get called out for looking like I spent too much time in the sun... but it’s to hide the fact that I haven’t really left my house to go outside in weeks anyways so it’s okay!) I like to press the sponge into the bottom a few times so it can absorb as much of the color from the cushion as possible 💕WHY I LOVE IT 💕 It’s one thing for a product to be cute, but I need it to work well too! Thankfully, this blush is both adorable and incredibly functional. It’s so creamy and pigmented and easily blendable and buildable! It’s also so nice to look at and fun to use, making my ritual of applying makeup even more exciting because it really is just so cute. Have you guys ever tried this product before? I would love to hear your thoughts! Or if anyone has any other recommendations for adorable makeup that just makes you smile and makes the process even more fun than it already is, please let me know because I am officially obsessed with finding ~cute~ products!

Milk Makeup
Milk Makeup
Milk Makeup is one of my favorite makeup brands. I love their commitment to creative self-expression, and their thoughtful formulations and packaging. Their whole line is vegan and cruelty-free, and they follow EU ingredient regulations (more stringent than in the US). 🪐 Milk MAKEUP - Holographic Stick Shade: Mars This first Milk product I ever purchased and by far my favorite. It gives a very natural glow that leans pink when the light hits it right. I go through phases where this is all I put on my face for months at a time. I swipe right onto the cheekbones and just blend in the edges with my fingertip. 👄 Milk MAKEUP - Lip + Cheek Shade: Werk I don’t use this on my lips as I find it too sheer, but it is THE product to achieve a natural flush. Almost too natural sometimes and it looks like I just went for a run haha Very buildable; I find it best to dab and blend with my fingers vs applying straight to my face. 🥛 Milk MAKEUP - Flex Foundation Stick Shade: Light So this was my first stick foundation and I love how travel-friendly and not-messy sticks are! With this, you do have to put it on over a moisturizing base and (imo) it blends best with my kabuki brush. It has a really nice finish and it’s easy to customize coverage. However, I did find it highlighted my skin texture. I really only use foundation when I’m doing more glam makeup, but with infrequent use it didn’t clog my pores. 🌿 Milk MAKEUP - KUSH Clear Brow Gel Shade: Clear This is my first brow gel, so I don’t have much to compare it to. I also never see any difference on my brows when I try out tinted vs clear formulas. That being said, I find this gives my brows a clean (almost wet) look that I like. I also find the brush really easy to use. Is it worth $20? Idk, but with infrequent use it’s lasted me a year already so maybe.
