🌙💤Current Nighttime routine

nay.nay
🌚This is my basic night routine at the moment, even though I’m still considering some new products to possibly add or swap out... Feel free to ask me any questions in the comments💕 I use the products in the following order: YVES SAINT LAURENT - Top Secrets Universal Makeup Remover Balm in Oil
First part of my double-cleanse. I haven’t worn makeup since the beginning of quarantine, but it’s still really necessary to break down all the sunscreen I wear. This is a nice cleansing balm, it’s very silky & light compared to others, & has a lovely scent. I haven’t tested it yet for removing makeup though. fresh - Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash
A favorite of mine, I did a full review of this product in a previous post🍓I love this gentle exfoliating cleanser! DIOR - Hydra Life Balancing Hydration 2 in 1 Sorbet Water
Check out my review of this hydrating, prebiotic toner in a previous post. MAY COOP - Raw Sauce
🍁My holy grail essence, it’s 93% maple extract. Check out my recent post for my full review & ingredient breakdown. Sulwhasoo - First Care Activating Serum Limited Edition
Such an amazing serum! I need to do a more detailed review soon. ESTĒE LAUDER - Perfectionist CP+R Wrinkle Lifting/Firming Serum
I don’t use this every night... it’s actually a great daytime product because it’s matte, smoothing & pore perfecting. Honestly it makes a great (but expensive) makeup primer! fresh - Lotus Anti-Aging Night Moisturizer
Just did a review on this night cream, feel free to check it out. I just emptied it, so instead I used: NARS - Aqua Gel Luminous Mask
This is really great product to relieve irritated skin. It has a lot of marine extracts. I did a full review of this in a previous post💙🦪This product really impressed me! Finally I’ll finish my routine with a decadent lip balm LANEIGE - Lip Sleeping Mask
Also previously did a full review of this new Gummy Bear scented lip sleeping mask & the corresponding lip glowy balm🧸💜so moisturizing!!! ☁️goodnight beauties☁️

🌊Plankton Extract! Algae! & Sea Water? Oh My!🦪
NARS aqua gel luminous mask💧$39/2.6 oz I’ve had this for a little while, & started using it here & there a couple weeks ago. It claims to be an intensive hydrating treatment full of potent botanical & marine based extracts to enhance collagen production. 🌙It can be used as the last step in your evening routine, as an overnight sleeping mask 2-3 times a week. It’s not exclusively a sleep mask though, it can be used anytime you want a surge of calming hydration. Nars instructs to use a generous amount, leave on for 5-10 minutes & then tissue off (following with toner, serum & moisturizer) I personally haven’t used this method, but I have used it during the day as an amazing moisturizer. It does say to avoid the eye area, not sure why, it’s free of alcohol & synthetic fragrance, but nonetheless I’ve been following the instructions & just using my own eye cream with it. NARS - Aqua Gel Luminous Mask At first, I was on the fence with how I felt about this. It was velvety & very hydrating & but I didn’t truly see it’s magic until I did a peel-off mask that irritated my skin. I hadn’t done one in forever, & it made my skin a little mad. You may know the feeling, a bit dry & stingy from the physical peeling off off the mask (it was also like 95 degrees that night🥵) I tried to wait it out but it became really irritating. For some reason I reached for this instead of my maple water & it was the the best decision! I applied a decent amount to my face & neck avoiding my eye area, & watched the magic happen. My skin immediately felt soothed & calm. Redness disappeared & all the painful irritation I felt began to subside. I do have a neurological condition that affects my pain receptors, so sometimes a trivial skin irritation can become too intense to handle— this is one of the most immediately effective products I’ve ever tried! I am truly impressed. The hydration & soothing effects really lasted, my skin was calm for the rest of the night/into the morning, leaving it plump & soft. When I started researching the ingredients, I understood why it was pretty damn amazing. 💦Check out my slides on the ingredient benefits, there’s some cool stuff in here like hydrating wild pansy extract, thyme, Polynesian sea water, plankton extract & different types of algae! ☁️The texture, as you can see is more of a lightweight water cream than a “gel”. It feels cool & refreshing on your skin. The scent is interesting, it’s grown on me. At first it kind of smells like a mix of robust coffee & cacao☕️🍫 I grew up near a chocolate factory lol🏭& the smell of burnt chocolate is not a great smell for me, so I honestly remember my very first reaction to opening the tube was like hmm what?! Do I hate this? 🍋But the scent dissipates into a nice light fresh citrusy type scent. This product does contain a natural fragrance, but not sure what that is. (Full ingredients photographed on last slide) 🤍All in all I LOVE this 🩹Great for sensitive skin

Current lil daytime routine⛅️🥱🍓💦🌹✨
I’m always trying new things & samples, but this is my basic routine for the AM🧡 Feel free to ask me any questions in the comments! I use the products in the following order: fresh - Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash My favorite exfoliating cleanser! There’s a full review in a previous post if you wanna check it out🍓 DIOR - Hydra Life Balancing Hydration 2 in 1 Sorbet Water A great toner I reviewed in my last post. Sulwhasoo - First Care Activating Serum I did a first impressions review of this not too long ago... I am still totally loving it. I now crave the fresh herbaceous scent that I wasn’t sure about at first. I find this to be working really well with my skin, always calming & soothing. I still feel like I haven’t been using it long enough (less than a month) to speak on anti aging benefits. Expect a more thorough review in the future, but I can solidly say I love this Hanbang (traditional Korean herbal medicine) skincare product. fresh - Rose & Hyaluronic Acid Deep Hydration Moisturizer 🌹I’ve used this for a while, but I’m on the lookout for something new. This moisturizer leaves skin pretty shiny but I love the way it feels. Cooling & refreshing, with a pretty strong rose scent. I may be having a slight reaction to it when I apply it though. I noticed it makes my light warm toned skin very pink right after, only for a little bit, but it doesn’t happen when I rub in other products, so it’s not physical. I read a review with a customer experiencing the same issue chalking it up to the rose extract. I have always loved rose extract & don’t recall having issues before... just something to consider. SHISEIDO - Urban Environment Oil-Free UV Protector Broad Spectrum Face Sunscreen SPF 42 I’ve used this face sunscreen for years. There are some better options perhaps... now that I want to switch over to fully mineral sunscreen (this has zinc, but also chemical sunscreen.) Nonetheless this has always kept me from being burnt, never irritated my eyes (initially what landed me on this particular sunscreen because everything else I tried hurt my eyes at some point) I like shaking it up, the thin texture is easy to apply & leaves a matte finish. I actually feel like this has helped clear up my skin at times, I recommend for acne sufferers. Has a tiny bit of a white cast, but not bad at all. ARMANI beauty - Fluid Sheer Glow Enhancer I apply this to my cheeks for a very angelic & natural glow over my sunscreen☁️💗( I use shade : 08) clé de peau BEAUTÉ - UV Protective Lip Treatment Broad Spectrum SPF 30 I did a full review on this recently... I wasn’t impressed for $65 LANEIGE - Lip Glowy Balm 💜this gummy bear scented lip balm! See full review🐻🍭 SHISEIDO - Shiseido Eyelash Curler Less of a curve than most, my holy grail

First impressions: Sulwhasoo serum/Nars lipgloss
💕Tried a couple new products! Nars Oil-infused lip tint | shade: Orgasm It’s a lipgloss that performs like a hydrating balm because of shea butter, raspberry oil, pomegranate oil & jojoba seed oil. I’ve been really into oil based glosses instead of other lipgloss. I haven’t been into shimmery or sparkly glosses in a while, but it’s barely noticeable when you wear it. I have not tried it over lipstick yet though. NARS - Oil-Infused Lip Tint My lip hydration standards are really high, & today I put this on right after my shower & didn’t feel the need to reach for my regular lip balm at any point (I’m a lip balm addict). It’s completely scentless & also flavorless. Which could be a good or bad thing for you. This is definitely my new favorite gloss! The shade is really different than the cult blush of the same name. I happened to have a mini & swatched them together for you guys. Personally Nars Orgasm blush is a bit too orangey & shimmery for me. Just not a shade for me🤷🏻‍♀️I used to use it as eyeshadow in high school lol😆 NARS - Limited Edition Orgasm Blush 💖Ok next up: The First care activating serum from Korean skincare brand Sulwhasoo. I’d been dying to try this after reading so many good things... I’ve only been using it for about a week but I love it! Sulwhasoo - First Care Activating Serum Limited Edition same as ⤵️ Sulwhasoo - First Care Activating Serum It’s chock full of good stuff: 한방 a true multi action Hanbang concoction! Hanbang means Korean traditional holistic medicine. I added slides of all the skin loving ingredients in their signature JAUM Balancing Complex™ as well as 8 other beneficial ingredients it contains. At first the smell was a little overwhelming because I’m not a fan of herbal scents, however, I fell in love quite immediately... Within seconds the smell becomes incredibly refreshing, & the smell doesn’t linger the way some herbal products do. Within the first few days I noticed decreased inflammation & decreased redness. It really helps every product you use after it to be better absorbed. My skin loves this, & the layers of moisture I add after (maybe another serum & then cream) stay giving me hydration all day/ all night. It’s pretty lightweight for a serum, a little bit thicker than an essence. I’ve been experimenting how to use it in my routine, as some suggest to use immediately after cleansing. I’m most comfortable using it after my toner, but it really depends on what ingredients/ benefits you’re trying to achieve with your toner. So I can’t speak on all of the anti-aging benefits yet, but it truly increases absorption & both calms & nourishes the skin. Extra plus, this limited edition “pink chrome” value size is simply GORGEOUS!💖& a great deal for over 3 oz.

Newbie Skincare Routine! Any advice?
So, i've recently had an awakening when i realized that i was slowly (yet, quickly) approaching my 30s (turning 27 in October). Figured, now is a good time to start taking care of my skin and tbh, just had my two kids and it'll feel nice to pamper myself now. I've started dipping my toes into the skincare world quite recently and have done so by watching Skincare by Hyram, Susan Yara, and reading up on all sorts of skincare junkie pages. So far, i've learned the basics and am attempting to incorporate more "serious" products (serums and treatments) into my skincare routine (which was just cleanser, toner, vit c, moisturizer, spf and the ocassional mask). First thing's first: i have oily combo skin. Not acne prone, just the ocassional pimple now and then. I also live in Ontario and have kids under two and workout 3x/week. So that pretty much tells you my state and environment. So i've pretty much laid the whole routine out out in my chart (hehe sorry, i love charts). I had to do it since it was so intimidating to begin with specialized products. I haven't used the REN or Laneige masks, or the TO retinol yet, but am going to this week. Been using the Thayer's tone, SPF and complex 15 for about 3 months now and they've been fine. Everything else has been used twice. My issues are probably an oily Tzone, larger pores and uneven skintone. I'd love any tips, advice or Feedback! Thx!

What I threw in my Hospital bag🏩
Because I have a neurological disease, I have to go to the hospital pretty often & stay for days at a time. There have been times where I had to leave so suddenly or I wasn’t conscious, that I didn’t get to bring any skincare beyond the lip balm in my pocket. In the past I used to just throw every moisturizer sample I had in my backpack, but as you may have guessed, being in a new environment under stress is not the best time to test new products on our skin. So this most recent time I had to be quick, but managed to grab some helpful items... A “hospital skincare” bag will never be perfect, for me it’s about maintaining comfort. You may have noticed I didn’t bring a cleanser, I recommend you bring one if you can with a few of your own face towels (towels in the hospital are so scratchy & have been bleached) Me not bringing a cleanser is just realistic for me because I likely will not be up at a sink... I brought: BIODERMA - Sensibio H2O wipes Biodegradable & free of Silicone, Petroleum products, Sulfates & Alcohol. These are a really nice gentle face wipe. I haven’t used to remove makeup though. SHISEIDO - Urban Environment Oil-Free UV Protector Broad Spectrum Face Sunscreen SPF 42 Don’t forget to still wear sunscreen even if you’re chillin inside! This has never irritated my eyes, so for me it’s a great option to apply with out a mirror. CAUDALIE - Grape Water Face mist at the hospital is a must! This is my favorite. Full review is my first post.🍇I would love to bring my travel size but I ran out. LANEIGE - Lip Sleeping Mask shade: Gummy Bear 🐻 Great for keeping my lips moisturized under my mask😷& overnight. Full review in previous post. sun bum - Signature SPF 30 Sunscreen Lip Balm Less important with my mask on, but I highly recommend this mineral sunscreen lip balm with non-nano zinc for all skin tones! Its free of fragrance, parabens & petroleum products& it’s less than $5 SHANGPREE - Marine Jewel Nourishing Mask & MAY COOP - Raw Sheet are two of my favorite sheet masks, check out my full reviews on both in previous posts. Beauty of Joseon - Calming Serum : Green Tea + Panthenol 🍵🍃I also bring this calming serum, it’s over 76% green tea leaf water & 2% panthenol (a B5 provitamin) I’ll be doing a full review soon on this & the other 2 serums Korean skincare brand Beauty of Joseon has to offer. HERBIVORE - Rose Quartz Facial Roller To relive tension in my face... I give this 4 stars because mine kind of squeaks at me & that’s not super relaxing lol. SHANGPREE - Diamond Luminous Cream A very rich Niacinamide cream I’ve been using. Full review of this K-beauty gem coming soon!💎 Briogeo - Farewell Frizz Rosarco Milk Leave-In Conditioner Mainly for some aromatherapy🌹

🌙fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Dream Face Cream
fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Dream Face Cream Super Lotus Night Recovery Such a long name for such a little jar lol. I wanted to try this night cream, so I got the mini size for $19. fresh - Lotus Anti-Aging Night Moisturizer I’ve been using some Fresh products for a while, including their rose & hyaluronic acid cream, but I like this one a lot better. I might be on the lookout for a thicker night cream, just a personal preference, but I really can’t fault this lil guy at all. I often wanted to reach for this in the mornings instead of the rose cream🥀 🍑It has a lovely lightweight feel & wonderful peachy scent. It’s considered a “Clean” beauty product, meaning it’s free of: Sulfates, Parabens, Formaldehydes, Formaldehyde-releasing agents, Phthalates, Mineral Oil, Retinyl Palmitate, Oxybenzone, Coal Tar, Hydroquinone, Triclosan, Triclocarban & other nastiness. I’ve made some slides to explain the beneficial ingredients, like Shea butter, sacred lotus extract, peach leaf extract, lemon peel oil, cucumber extract & chamomile flower oil🌼🥒🍋 So even though I plan on shopping around a few other options, I have nothing bad to say about this night cream. I was sad when it was emptied last night😭 If you’re looking for a refreshing & nourishing night cream that isn’t heavy, this may be right up your alley. Every morning my skin was soft & glowing🌝 💤Have you tried this? What’s your favorite or current night cream?

Bedtime😴
First things first, follow me to see more content like this✨😘. Pretty please🥺. So let’s talk about my night time routine. It’s pretty simple only because I’m really tired at the end of the, but I still want to make sure I wash my face 🥴. So I start off with the fenty skin cleans’r, then I go in with the fat water and finish it it off with the fresh lotus anti-aging night moisturizer. 💖- So I finally found how I could fit my fenty skin products into my routine. The total cleans’r in my opinion is a very basic cleanser. It’s suitable for all skin types and if you’re someone that is just starting out or a skincare beginner, this is really good😊. If you are sensitive, or just don’t like fragrance this product isn’t going to be for you🙅🏾‍♀️‼️. I personally like the fragrance, it smells really nice. My face feels soft and very hydrated after. I’m not sure if I’m going to buy this again yet, I’m conflicted. ($25)FENTY SKIN - Total Cleans'r Remove-It-All Cleanser 💖- I still don’t like the fat water. My face feels sticky after and I really do not like the consistency 🤢. Other than that I think it’s a fine product. I just don’t like or understand combining a serum and a toner, I think that should be two different products. But I’m pretty fine with it since I get lazy at the end of the day🤷🏾‍♀️. My face doesn’t feel extremely dry afterwards, just a little tight. Probably won’t buy again. ($28)FENTY SKIN - Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum 💖- last but not least is the fresh lotus moisturizer. This is a “light weight night cream powered by antioxidant-rich super lotus that helps skin recover overnight for a more youthful look by morning”. My face is extremely hydrated after I use this and my small wrinkles under my eyes have disappeared 😊😊. I would recommend this product if you are concerned about wrinkles or dullness. I have the mini version because I like to buy minis when I first try a product if it’s possible. I’ll most likely be buying this product again. The only think i don’t like is that it does have a strong scent but it goes away pretty fast. ($19 for mini and $48 for the full size)fresh - Lotus Anti-Aging Night Moisturizer Again, like I said I’m pretty lazy at night so my routine is very simple. Once i use the fat water up, I’m just going to use a regular toner. Feel free to comment and critique my routine 😘💖.

🍁Trying May Coop ‘Raw Sheet’ mask🍁
May Coop Raw Sheet $6 Korean skincare brand May Coop builds all its products around a single ingredient: Maple sap. This ingredient is really special because it’s molecular size is the same as our skin particles. This allows the beneficial ingredients to be more readily absorbed & boots the effectiveness of your moisturizing routine. 🍁This unbleached cotton sheet mask is coated in a lush serum with it’s first ingredient as Sugar Maple sap. Claims: Younger skin in 20 minutes. Read my last post for a full review of ‘Raw Sauce’ & more information on all things maple! But the botanicals in this sheet mask differ a bit from the cult iconic essence. I almost ran out of room making ingredient slides for this one! It contains a lot of the same beneficial ingredients as ‘Raw Sauce’ like Panthenol & Arginine, but with even more diverse botanical extracts. MAY COOP - Raw Sheet The fit is pretty good. I don’t criticize a sheet mask too much for fit because a pair of scissors can fix most things. I would probably cut the upper lip area next time for my own comfort. This mask was wonderful. Sooo easy to apply because of this thin plasticy layer thing that lines the mask, loved that! There’s a lot of extra serum in the bag as with most sheet masks... don’t waste it! I use on my neck, chest & back🤎 This was some next level hydration. So much so, that I felt such a difference around my nose & eyes where the mask did not touch. I will probably augment my fit to the nose & eyes next time, because I truly enjoyed the experience not to mention amazing hydration & energized looking skin!🧡 For those familiar with the Raw Sauce essence, this is a bit thicker in consistency, & the smell is stronger. I really liked it, it’s a deeper more robust version of the original scent, kind of like bamboo flower🎋which coincidentally is one of the botanical extracts. I truly look forward to another one🍁

🍁My do it all hydrating essence❗️HOLY GRAIL❗️
This was one of the first Korean skincare products I was introduced to. It was about 5 or 6 years ago—around the time American magazines were discussing “What is an essence?”/“Do you need one?” & so forth. I had just become disabled & in the midst of my own skincare renaissance due to all my new free time with lack of mobility. 🍁I found this at Sephora & was immediately intrigued by the ingredients. It’s 93% Maple tree sap; specifically the Acer Pictum subspecies: Acer Mono, known as the Painted Maple. It also contains sea water & a slew of botanical ingredients, check out my ingredient photo slides above. Many skincare products contain water as the first ingredient, but it’s so much more effective to use maple water because it has the same molecular size as your skin particles. This means your skin actually absorbs all the ingredients, & helps your skin benefit from all the subsequent products in your routine! Dehydration is a common cause of enlarged pores. 🍁Recent research shows this extract may prevent wrinkle formation by interfering with the breakdown of elastin proteins in the skin. Wrinkles are caused by loss of elasticity, collagen, & fat. We can protect our elastin with maple sap because it inhibits the activity of elastase, the enzyme responsible for breaking down elastin. MAY COOP - Raw Sauce I’ve tried other essences... there’s really nothing like this! It has a lovely texture & an easily maneuverable consistency. It’s less runny than other essences & toners, almost a thin serum texture. It absorbs instantly leaving skin feeling refreshed & relieved. It has a soft scent, slightly floral & warm. You don’t rub in essence or use a cotton swab, just pat it on your face to get all the benefits (I use it after toner & before my serums) It’s so hydrating, when I stopped using it definitely felt the difference. I’ve even found it very helpful for dry patches or irritated skin on my body & I even use it on my ears to combat flakey skin. When I get out of the shower, my chest & upper back is often red & irritated. I’ve been using this on my body with great results! The redness goes away much faster & feels soothed, it also helps my body cream work more effectively. I could not recommend this product more! If you’ve never incorporated an essence into your routine, this one may change your mind⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ $43/5 oz $14/1.35 oz ⚠️Something to note: I would be careful about which website you purchase this from. Though the product is quite inexpensive, due to its cult appeal, there are fakes on the market. It’s a really scary thought & not worth the risk AT ALL! Instead of snagging what may look like a deal on Amazon, I recommend purchasing it from ‘Peach & Lily’ ( peachandlily.com ) They are a totally legitimate online Kbeauty retailer selling their own brand & curated goodies from Korea. They’ve had the large 5 oz size on sale for $31 for a while too! Such a good deal! Plus they ship super fast! 📦💨

Battle of the Cleansers! 🧼 PART TWO
I have so many cleansers I had to make two posts about it! Here’s the second half, be sure to read part one for the other cleansers I reviewed. MY SKIN: Dry, crazy sensitive, prone to redness with a few breakouts here and there but nothing crazy. DISCLAIMER: This is just my personal experience with the products and I by no means speak for everyone’s experience. Maybe you love these products, and if they work for you, that’s amazing! If they don’t, I hope you find something that does! But if you haven’t and are looking into any of these products, I hope I can help you make an informed decision. Thanks! fresh - Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash this product highlights sugar and strawberry to exfoliate and brighten skin. My honest opinion: I know, I know, scrubs are bad and evil. I hear it all the time. However, every time I use an exfoliating active my skin loses its mind and turns bright red and can sometimes sting for a whole 24 hours after I use it. Until I find an active that doesn’t completely destroy my skin, I’m sticking to scrubs. Sugar is a great scrub since it dissolves with water, meaning the risk of over-scrubbing is minimized. And I scrub VERY gently. Since my primary concern with exfoliating is dead skin and not acne, this works just fine for me. It’s definitely one of the most gentle scrubs I’ve used, so if you just need to use a scrub like me, this is a great one to use. DRUNK ELEPHANT - Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser This product highlights cantaloupe and glycerin as it’s key ingredients to deeply cleanse all of the day’s impurities. My honest opinion: I used to use this as my summer cleanser daily for a long time. This is probably my 3rd bottle of it. So what happened? This cleanser did wonders for my skin when I lived in a hot and sweaty environment to clean all the gunk and full face of makeup off of me. But my life changed (and lbr so did the world) this year. I live in on a completely different side of the world and I stay indoors, rarely wear makeup and my skin has gotten a lot drier and this cleanser just doesn’t do it for me anymore. The surfactants are too stripping for dry skin. So, I’m breaking up with this cleanser. YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser This product highlights kale, green tea, spinach, and vitamins B, C, and E to remove buildup and balance pH without drying. My honest opinion: Y’all, I am IN LOVE with this cleanser. I picked up the YTTP Mini kit and used the whole bottle up and purchased the full size without a second thought! The INCI list is short and sweet, full of antioxidants and just feels amazing. I walked around sephora with it and every single person I saw was like “yes that’s my fave!” Honestly this is a stellar cleanser for dry skin and I highly recommend it. Full disclosure it does have fragrance and chlorophyll as the last two ingredients, but I haven’t had an issue with it. Big love!!

Skincare Strugglebus 🚌
So I had a good, simple routine for a long time and my skin was great! Then I moved and now my skin is so much different. I’ve been using tons of products trying to get results but I think I’ve been tormenting my skin and not giving any one product enough of a chance to do it’s thing so I’m trying to simplify. Right now my skin is dry, dehydrated, red and bumpy and my pores have gotten huge and black and icky and I’m really frustrated. I like to think that I’m knowledgeable about skincare but I still have a lot to learn. If you have any thoughts on my current products that would help the most! I have a lot and need a real routine. AM routine: Rinse my face with water. If I’m oily (which isn’t often) I will go in with THAYERS - Lavender Facial Toner but only on my t-zone, my cheeks can’t handle it. Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Gel-Cream VERSED - Daily Mineral Sunscreen Broad Spectrum a little greasy but non irritating and only if I go outside. PM: FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm only if I wear makeup and spf For cleansers I’ve been using DRUNK ELEPHANT - Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser Too Faced - Hangover Wash The Day Away Gentle Foaming Cleanser I also have a sample size of belif - Aqua Bomb Jelly CleanserI haven’t used and sometimes I will VERY GENTLY scrub with fresh - Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash I have 3 different toners, I use fresh - Rose Deep Hydration Toner but it’s started to sting a bit with all the fragrance. I just purchased LANEIGE - Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizerand also GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow PHA+BHA Pore-Tight Tonerwhich I want to incorporate instead. Maybe alternate? I loved FARMACY - Very Cherry Bright 15% Clean Vitamin C Serum with Acerola Cherry but I think it went bad bc it stings so much now. I use PEACH & LILY - Glass Skin Refining Serum every day but I might switch to DRUNK ELEPHANT - B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serumthoughts? YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream with Ashwagandha + Reishi never switching! other products I own: YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask LANEIGE - Cica Sleeping MaskGLOW RECIPE - Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping Mask ORIGINS - Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream I DEW CARE - Cake My Day Hydrating Sprinkle Wash-Off Mask DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream

My Deep Cleanse Routine
My Deep Cleanse Routine
I wanted a deep cleanse tonight: Pixi Glow Mud Cleanser - This is deep pore cleansing and glow revealing with an added 5% glycolic acid. Pixi Glow Mud Mask- To purify and draw out impurities. This can also be used as a spot treatment. Mario Badescu Orange blossom and Aloe facial spray- Spritz of this to prep my face for application of serum. This smells so lovely and is so refreshing in this heat... I've been using it all day to cool me down. The Ordinary -Buffet- A multi peptide complex serum with Hyaluronic acid for hydration and anti-ageing benefits. This serums helps to improve the look of static wrinkles in the skin and increase skin firmness. Weleda Skin food- I only dab this on areas that tend to get dry and where i have wrinkles forming. Herbivo Rebotanicals Phoenix facial oil- finishing off with this super nourishing and hydrating oil, it contains co enzyme Q-10 which is fab for increasing collagen production and improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I just wished it smelt better as I really don't like the smell of it 🤦🏼‍♀️but I suppose there's no added fragrance so I can't complain too much.

Don’t know how to improve the problems of sensitive skin? Here is a daily skincare routine!
Don’t know how to improve the problems of sensitive skin? Here is a daily skincare routine!
I have been troubled by sensitive skin for a year or two; the skin smoothly went red for temperature change, dry, or other unknown reasons. I tried many skincare products and found the most effective daily routine as below. The daily routine works best twice a day, one in the morning and the other at night (Finish it about 30 minutes before bed to give your skin sufficient time to absorb the nutrition). One single procedure cost about 10 minutes. If sometimes you are in a hurry in the morning, you can drop the second step. Here goes my daily skincare routine: AM:Kiehl's - Centella Sensitive Facial Cleanser PM:Kiehl's - Calendula Deep Clean Foaming Face Wash The first cleanser goes through tests on sensitive skins. Both water and cotton pad can remove. The critical ingredient is Centella Asiatica, which helps to smooth skin. However, even you have sensitive skin, you must be careful to do the cleansing thoroughly to avoid pore-clogging. The first cleanser tailors for sensitive skin, but if your skin is just a little sensitive, use the second cleanser at night will work better for those who also have combination or oily skin. ORIGINS - Mega-Mushroom Relief & Resilience Soothing Treatment Lotion I heard the news that the Origins sold the one bottle lotion every eight seconds, of which critical ingredients extracted from natural mushrooms like Reishi, Fermented Chaga, and Coprinus, which help reduce redness, enhance anti-irritant power and smooth the skin. The lotion is also alcohol-free and PH balanced, so it is truly friendly to sensitive skin. Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cream It is KIEHL’S No.1 facial cream. Hydrating is essential for sensitive skin to keep smooth. The key ingredients of the cream are Glacial Glycoprotein and Squalane, which helps restore the skin’s moisture barrier and prevent water loss. It also contains avocado oil and olive fruit oil, all-natural ingredients, and does not irritate.    Note: DO GENTLY MASSAGE OVER THE SKIN after each step until you can feel the lotion/serum/cream is completely absorbed. The products are all best sellers for the brand. If you are not sure which product to choose, remember two rules:  I used the routine for about six months, and it went better. The most significant changes are the red skin rarely shows up, and the skin feels much smoother. I hope the routine could help you as well!

A bit late to the party but I’
A bit late to the party but I’m back with a new review feat. rooki! They make skincare so easy, even a rookie could use it—hence the name. From their Basics line the Honey Matcha Cleansing Drops and Superfood Saviour Creme, and from their Perfectors line the Green Pulp Paste Masque. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Starting with the cleanser, it’s filled with honey + chia seeds and Uji Matcha straight from Japan that is rich in antioxidants. Also formulated with Ascorbyl Glucoside - a vitamin C derivative that activates on contact with water to help brighten the skin. You only need the tiniest amount as it lathers so much, which got me wondering since this is sulfate free. This is a tad bit drying for my skin so I don’t use it everyday but I feel like people with oily skin types will enjoy this! Nothing too major but since this has a pump packaging and knowing that it isn’t fully covered, whenever I use this a part of the product is a bit clumpy. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The moisturizer on the other hand is infused with kale, lingonberries, squalane, and hyaluronic acid. All these ingredients mixed together reverses the damage on your skin caused by free radicals. This seeps right into the skin without feeling sticky which makes it perfect for both day and night! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Lastly, my favorite product out of the three which is the hydrating gel mask that turns into a sort of white paste (like Farmacy’s Honey Potion if you’ve tried it minus the heat sensation). Made with the brandms signature Green Pull Paste that has a blend of lycopene, beta-carotene, polyphenol, and vitamin E. This leaves my skin soft and glowing in just one application. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Overall they’re a brand worth checking out, the price point may be a bit high but the quality that you get is definitely worth it and they also offer free shipping worldwide. Excited for what’s more to come from Rooki!

Is it actually worth it? GLOW RECIPE
Is it actually worth it? GLOW RECIPE
GLOW RECIPE - Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser This product is great for a gentle cleanse to remove all the dirt and sebum on your face! It’s awesome for all skin types due to the hydrating hyaluronic acid and the gentle exfoliation from lactic and glycolic acid! My skin always feels so fresh post using this cleanser but I haven’t seen a massive change in my acne. I use this product in the mornings for a gentle cleanse whilst at night, I’ll use a double cleansing system with an oil based cleanser and a salicylic acid cleanser. Overall, I’m a fan! GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Ultra-Fine Mist This hydrating mist I feel is more of an add on luxury, it isn’t necessary. Although it does give extra hydration which can be great, it isn’t really something that you should go out of your way for, especially for the price. GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow PHA+BHA Pore-Tight Toner I have only had this toner for a couple of weeks, and I use it on and off, but it does feel really nice! It makes my skin really glowy, and i noticed that the inflammation in my skin has gone down quite a bit, but i haven’t noticed that much change in my skin long term. It’s definitely more for people with combination/oily skin because of the exfoliating properties. I will keep using this product to get my final opinion! GLOW RECIPE - Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask This works wonders! It literally made my wrinkles less visible in the matter of one night and it feels so nice on the skin! I’m giving it four stars the only reason being is that it’s quite expensive for such a small pot. GLOW RECIPE - Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream I’ve only been using this product for a couple of days but wow, it’s amazing! It’s a thick cream but it feels so lightweight on your skin, so it’s good to not feel like your skin is drowning in moisturiser (I have oily skin). I love this product because it leaves my skin GLOWY and it has lightened my redness so much! I only got the smaller pot but I’ll probably end up getting the big one! GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Lip Pop OH MY GOD I LIVE FOR THIS PRODUCT. First, it exfoliates your lips, and then, it turns into a moisturising balm and THEN, it turns into a pretty pink tint! My new go-to lip product!!! OVERALL: I support this brand! I stand with their ethics and philosophy and they support matters such as BLM. Their products are quite pricey but if you have the money, I’d say to go for it!

Blue Tower on a Tuesday!
Blue Tower on a Tuesday!
Happy Tuesday everyone! I’m loving this little blue tower 🥰 I’ve made posts previously about how obsessed I am with the Water Drench products, so I won’t get into it again! 😂 but I have these minis from Tatcha, and I haven’t chatted about them yet. I haven’t used the cleanser yet, but the Water Cream. It’s meh. I found it applied just like the Water Drench moisturizer, but it really didn’t feel as hydrating. Maybe I need to try the Dewy Cream? I just don’t understand the hype behind this moisturizer. I am pretty certain that the Hydrating Eye Get is breaking me out around my eyes so I think I’ll return it. I was getting little tiny whiteheads on my brow bone and under my eyes. I wanted to like it but it is just not worth the $55. The Laneige Lip Sleeping Masks are always a good purchase! My lips aren’t dry when I wake up and they all have the best smells/flavours! 😍 since you don’t need a lot of product at a time, these will last you for a while.
