Help! | Cherie
Heyyy so a few months ago my skin exploded in breakouts. I had relatively clear skin before I started taking birth control (I’m like 79% sure that’s what caused my breakouts not 100% tho) Anyways I am still getting the occasional few pimples but I am mostly left with a bunch of scars and some texture. I still do get some pimples and zits as well. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what I should do to help my skin. Thank you so much! My current routine is Am CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin I have been using apple cider vinegar as toner #Pearl essence - Vitamin c[products]# CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 Pm The same cleanser as am CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion I also just started The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solutionwhich I will do once a week!

Review: the beet shield
People have been raving about this product, so I decided to give it a try!! What is the best shield? Well, on the krave beauty website it says the beet shield is a lightweight, soothing day fluid that protects skin from environmental aggressors. Whether it’s sun damage or harmful irritants, The Beet Shield keep pollutants to keep you from getting beet-red. You’re supposed to use this as the last step in your AM skincare routine. My review: This product is great! Before this I was using the CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 which would ball up on my face in small white chunks. My makeup underneath looked awful and it was because of this SPF. Having the beet shield underneath was a game changer for me. This product not only leaves your skin looking dewy and fresh, but my makeup underneath was so smooth. This product does not look like a normal sunscreen. It comes out in a pale color and goes on almost invisible. It’s a very unique formula! I really love this product and I recommend giving it a go! Krave - The Beet Shield

Help!
I have been trying to figure out the best way to take control of my skincare routine. My main concern is the texture of my skin, redness, blackheads on my nose, & large pores on my cheeks. I believe I have combination skin. It can’t often get oily or dry. I’d like any advice having to do with Cerave or The Ordinary. I currently am cleansing my face each morning & night with CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser I like this cleanser, but am wondering if I should try out some other Cerave facial cleansers for my skin. In the morning I use CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 In the evening I moisturize with CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion Occasionally, I use the The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution but I don’t think I have used it consistently enough & often enough to tell a difference. I’ve read that this is good for blackheads on your nose & to use it two nights a week. I have also used The Ordinary - Salicylic Acid 2% Masque but haven’t used it enough to notice a difference. I’d like to look into trying a few more products to help rejuvenate my skin & give my skin care routine a “facelift” 😉 Any advice or opinions would be wonderful. Thank you! Products I’d like to try include: CeraVe - Resurfacing Retinol Serum I would like to introduce a retinol into my routine. CeraVe - Eye Repair Cream I often get dry under eyes, eye lids, & puffiness. The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA I read this was good for textured skin & blackheads. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Thank you in advance! ✨

Products that helped my acne
I’ve struggled with acne since 7th grade (I’m 20 now). I have used a lot of products and there are a handful I want to share that have really helped me get closer to my clear skin goal. PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator this is by far the best product I’ve ever used. My skin looks smoother and my acne has subsided tremendously. I can’t get enough of this. (I use it twice a week, working up to three). I really do believe this product is essential for clearer skin! CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin this moisturizer has been my go to for about 5 years. It always keeps my skin hydrated and really helped when I was on acne prescriptions because my skin would always get really dry. Curology - Curology formula I have a whole post dedicated to this, but it really did help me a lot. I like having dermatologist prescriptions over other treatments. So, this was a great option for me and worked wonders! CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin I used to use the harshest face washed out there and strip my skin completely. This cleanser really helped me repair my moisture barrier and was gentle. My skin started looking really good after about 12 uses of this. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% this stuff is a miracle in a bottle!! My face is way less sensitive and my oils are under control. The redness from my acne subsides with the help of this product and I find it to help my acne heal and become smaller faster. Kate Somerville - EradiKate Acne Treatment this treatment really helped me when I had minimal breakouts. This dried out my pimples over night and helped them go away faster. This was a really nice treatment and I plan on using it again when my face is clearer and I no longer feel the need to continue curology!!

Best Moisturizers
I have tried many moisturizers but here are the ones I think are best for each skin type! ❤️Best for Oily Skin❤️ CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion This moisturizer is suitable for most skin types but it is great for oily skin types because it contains niacinamide which can aid in controlling the overproduction of oil. It is very moisturizing but it doesn’t make your skin look greasy. I absolutely love this moisturizer and strongly recommend it. 🧡Best for Dry Skin🧡 FIRST AID BEAUTY - FAB Pharma Arnica Relief & Rescue Mask This is technically a moisturizing mask but when my skin is feeling dry I use it as a moisturizer. Is is so soothing and has an interesting texture and smell. The product comes out of the tube blue and with an almost whipped texture. When you put it on your face it sinks in slowly if you apply it as a leave on mask, but if you rub it in it sinks in pretty quickly. I personally love the light natural scent it has (it is almost medicinal) but I realize it may be off putting to others. 💛Best for Combination Skin💛 GLOW RECIPE - Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream This moisturizer has niacinamide (can aid in controlling the overproduction of oil), is hydrating, and gives your skin a nice glow. At first I wasn’t a huge fan but with continued use I grew to love it! It has a light banana scent but Glow Recipe product contain extremely little fragrance. I think this would be great for combination skin as long as you don’t mind the glow. 💚Best for Sensitive Skin💚 FIRST AID BEAUTY - Skin Rescue Daily Face Cream This may be my favorite moisturizer! It is hydrating but feels very light on the skin. It sinks in quickly and has a smaller ingredient list so there isn’t a very big risk of irritation. It is very simple but in a great way! 💙Best for Normal Skin💙 FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream If you have normal skin you can use any of the moisturizers I’ve recommended, but this one is really nice, effective, and has a great formula. It is great for dry or sensitive skin as well. It makes my skin feel very hydrated and has never caused issues with my acne prone skin. 💜Honorable Mentions💜 cocokind - Matcha Face Moisturizer This moisturizer is interesting. I feel like that is the best way to put it. It is very thick but it is also mattifying. Because of this, I think it would be suitable for all skin types (including oily) if you prefer thick moisturizers. The one problem I may have with it, though, is that it may have made my milia slightly worse. The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA I think this is a great moisturizer but I personally prefer other ones. If you are looking for a simple moisturizer that it inexpensive and delivers great hydration, this might be a great option. Leave a comment if you have tried these or have any recommendations!

•HELP• Am i using the right products?
•HELP• Am i using the right products?
Hello so these are my current skin care products. I have normal skin but my T zone is very dry and I’m prone to breakouts. I also have a high amount of dark spots and my pores are pretty big. I’ve just recently bought some new products in hopes of clearing my skin. I put the products in the order i use them , with the exception of the peeling solution (that i use about 1-2 times a week). I just recently started using these products so I haven’t noticed any big changes so far but I was wondering if these are the right products for me. I’m not so sure about the moisturizer because it makes my skin feel and look very oily. If you have any tips for me or any information or recommendations it would help a lot.

I’ve been using these products consistently since March yet I still breakout a lot 😩 I struggle mostly with these painful whiteheads on my chin and acne around my mouth. I’m debating whether I should go to the derm or try Curology. Any advice?

I’ve been trying clean and clear. yes i know it’s not the best for your skin but it’s made it better than this. these are the products i use: CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin this hasn’t really helped my skin but made it feel better. on other days i will use the Clean and Clear deep action cream cleanser. I really like this protect. it makes my skin feel very good. but i don’t know if i should be using it. it has helped my skin. tell me what you think than i use this oil: The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% this has made my face not oily at all and has helped black heads lastly i use this: CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin this is ok. it makes my face feel stinky in a way. but i like is for a sunscreen i use this : proactiv - Daily Oil Control Moisturizer SPF 30 this makes my face feel soft and very nice. i have no idea what i’m doing wrong. i’ve been using these products for a while now. they aren’t working (the clean and clear cleanser does thought) what products should i use?

💗the start of my journey to clear skin💗
💗the start of my journey to clear skin💗
heyy guys, first off i would like to say i am so sorry for the lengthiness of this😭! i really apologize. i downloaded this app in hopes of finding some stuff to use to help clear up my skin. i’ve never really had super bad acne (just a normal amount), but i’ve always had dark circles, and huge pores, i just want clear skin! i have tried to use Clean&Clear - Morning Burst Oil-Free Gentle Daily Face Wash and Bioré - Charcoal Acne Cleanser but there weren’t any results from those, in fact i feel like they did the opposite of help me. the Bioré really dried my skin out and the Clean&Clear just didn’t show any results for me. for awhile i did use the ST. Ives - Acne Control Apricot Scrub until i found out that the ST. Ives was bad for your skin so i discontinued, i didn’t really see any results anyways. after that, i kind of gave up on my skin, until i came across this app and this was a life changer!! this morning was the first time use of all my new products so i’d thought i’d give a first day review since it’s official the first day of my new skin care journey! my routine goes like this: directly after my shower i used the CeraVe - Acne Foaming Cream Cleanserwith both my fingertips then my spin brush once my face is washed and completely dried i use the The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution. this did burn slightly on my upper right cheek below my eye!!! i know that this is supposed to be some powerful stuff but it really did burn on a small section on my face, i was in tears! but i think i am going to try it again to see if maybe it was just a bad first time reaction, and if it isn’t i think i will be cautious of that specific area while still using it to see if i get any results. also it only hurt when i tried to apply onto that section, after a little bit the burning stopped and it didn’t burn when i washed my face after my face had dried, i used the CeraVe - Resurfacing Retinol Serum for my pores. i let that sit and absorb into my skin before moving on then i used the CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30and let that absorb into my skin at least 15 minutes before going into the sun as instructed i will be adding in my rose quartz roller and the occasional face mask probably after i use The Ordinary product my nighttime routine will basically be the same just without using The Ordinary and i will also use the CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotioninstead of the AM one **i got the rose quartz roller from Walmart for $10 only because i wanted to try it out before i fully committed and have heard good reviews saying it works just as well as the high end ones** ⚠️⚠️if you have ANY suggestions or any concerns, criticism, or anything, please let me know!!! i am so open to suggestions 💖 i really hope this works and i will be updating! thank you for listening💓
