Georgette Klinger and Cherie gifted these products to me so I could review them honestly! I have been using them for ten days now, and I have thoughts to share! I supplemented this routine with a moisturizer, spf, and eye cream, as well as hydrating masks every three days. Pre-Information — I’ve used many vitamin c products in the past, and my skin likes the ingredient! I have combo skin, which is sensitive and acne prone. I also have rosacea, which makes my skin red, especially when using actives. Every product here has fragrance and all the products smell like an orchard (it’s strong!). If you are sensitive to fragrance, keep that in mind. GEORGETTE KLINGER - Vitamin C Cleansing Gel
I like this cleanser, and I don’t usually reach for gel cleansers because they tend to be fairly stripping. This one is gentle and doesn’t dehydrate my skin on impact; I use it as a second cleanse at night following an oil based cleanser. It doesn’t irritate my skin, but kind of soothes it instead — which is a lot to ask for from a cleanser. Not the best for daytime use for me, I find that in the mornings my skin is better off with water + toner. Three stars because it smells like dollar store hand soap and I cannot ignore it. GEORGETTE KLINGER - Vitamin C Toner
I think it’s an okay toner! I don’t like the dispenser at all, because product comes out fast and it’s hard to control. The viscosity of the toner is pretty thin, but my skin feels smooth after application. It sinks in fast and isn’t sticky! I use this with a reusable cotton round and it preps my skin nicely for the rest of my routine. It’s not really a “special” product for me, and I’m the kind of person who wants skincare routines to be ritualistic and also make me feel good on the inside, so I’ll have to pass on repurchasing. GEORGETTE KLINGER - Vitamin C Complex
This might be one of my favorite vitamin c serums! It’s a little tacky, but sinks in faster than some serums I’ve used, and once you apply a moisturizer, the tackiness disappears. It’s pretty gentle and I didn’t experience any discomfort, tingling, or excess redness after application. I really like the packaging on this, and it’s an easy product to slip into your routine. GEORGETTE KLINGER - Vitamin C Mask
This is my favorite product out of the four! I LOVE the packaging — pump top for a mask? Revolutionary. The pump makes getting product so easy, and you can control it easily. The texture of this mask is like a thick smoothie, and it smells good, too. I noticed my skin becoming brighter when I use this for a midday pick-me-up. I can guarantee that I’ll run out of this one first. Overall, my skin looks GOOD. I can’t tell if it’s just because of my cycle, or if these products did wonders for me (ten days is a short time to tell I think). I did notice some dehydration towards the five day mark, but overall my skin looks better!

Vitamin C: the ultimate glow inducing ingredient
Vitamin C is one of my favorite powerhouse ingredients! This amazing antioxidant is just great to brighten, correct hyperpigmentation and get an even skin tone! 🍊 I personally am a big fan, and love to use vitamin C to get bright, luminous skin. It’s been so useful to me lately as I’ve been feeling stressed and picking at my skin and it’s so so good to correct darks spots and post-acne marks. These vitamin C products from Georgette Klinger (gifted) we’re just the perfect fit for me! The GEORGETTE KLINGER - Vitamin C Complex is a lovely serum formulated with Kakadu plum and hyaluronic acid (another ingredient I just love) to promote the absorption of vitamin C. It’s important to know the correct order to apply a vitamin C serum and it should always be after toner but before moisturizer, following the thinnest to thickets rule and you should always, always apply SPF after! Unless you’re applying it at night, in which case you’re good without SPF 😜 I first learned about vitamin C from my husband, and the statues my own research, it’s been one of my tried and true ingredients for years!

Brighter, More Even Skin in just 10 Days!
Before we start, pleaaaase pardon my quarantine brows/hair. **GIFTED: I’ve been trying Georgette Klinger’s new Vitamin Collection through Cherie for the past 10 days and have been loving the line so far. This was my first experience with GK and the first time that I’ve ever followed a routine from a brand, so I was excited to see how using products that were designed to go together and comprised of similar ingredients would affect my skin. As someone with sensitive acne-prone skin with a pinch of rosacea, I’m constantly chasing acne scars and dark spots trying to get rid of every last trace of my breakouts, so using a routine fortified with vitamin C has been really helpful is fighting discoloration/hyperpigmentation and redness. I’ve been using each product twice daily. On day 1, I had some hormonal pimples that were on their way out and my skin was super red from being in the sun. By day 5, the scarring began to decrease and I noticed that the bright redness had started to go down as well, making things look more even and now on day 10, everything is barely there and my complexion is noticeably more even and radiant. Dare I say, the vitamin C might be helping keep my breakouts at bay (fingers crossed!!) In addition to brightening my skin, I noticed that the products helped smooth my skin’s texture as well, which is always welcome. Overall, I'm really pleased with the way the Vitamin C collection has been treating my skin and am so happy to have been able to try it out!

Dull skin no more 🍊
Georgette Klinger kindly gifted me a few products to try, including the GEORGETTE KLINGER - Vitamin C Mask and I have to admit, I’m not the biggest fan of clay masks because they often feel way too drying for my dehydrated skin and I just cant stand that tight feeling on my face but I’m happy to report this one didn’t feel like that! I left this baby on for about 10 minutes after washing my face in the morning and it really added a nice sheen to my skin. I love that this formula includes argan and avocado oil to keep skin nourished while the kaolin clay draws out impurities. I have yet to see long term results from prolonged use but it’s definitely a nice mask I’ll add to my mask rotation!

My skincare awards: toners
🥇GEORGETTE KLINGER - Vitamin C Toner $26 This is the toner that I've been using lately, I love the results of Georgette Klinger's Vitamin C line. I had a chance to try it thanks Georgette Klinger and Cherie. Leaves skin fresh and clean, helps diminish dark spots, calms redness, purifies pores and brightens dull skin tone. Its main ingredients: kakadu plum, aloe, withc hazel, watercress and elderflower. It is a lightweight liquid that absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave sticky. It definitely decreased the redness on my skin and has helped decrease dark spots. 🥈 PEACH & LILY - The Good Acids Pore Toner It is a gentle formula even with sensitive skin. Contains AHAs, salicylic acid, cape lilac, eggplant, turmeric extracts, aloe and allantoin. I had the opportunity to try it thanks to a BoxyCharm box. I have used it a few times but I liked it, it doesn’t cause irritation and absorbs quickly, its texture is liquid and it has no odor. It is ideal for oily and combination skin. It is definitely a gentle exfoliating toner that doesn’t cause irritation, making it ideal for even the most sensitive skin. ❌ YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Kombucha + 11% AHA Exfoliation Power Toner $38 Long ago I did a review of this toner, I had used it for two weeks and my first impression was that it didn’t absorb well, since it leaves sticky feeling. In fact they mention it on their website, but for me that feeling is unbearable. I found it as a new product at Sephora and bought it to try it out as I had a good experience with the cleanser. I still have the same opinion of that time, the truth is that I wouldn’t buy it again. Its main ingredients: kombucha black tea fermented, tree bark ferment, ginger, lactic acid, glycolic acid, citrus bioflavonoids and lemons water extract. Its texture is liquid, they say "liquid, lightweight", it has no added fragrance. Every time I use it, it causes a little irritation that goes away the next morning, but I think the Peach & Lily is gentler than this toner. It is used 3-5 times a week, at night. I definitely prefer the first two options as they don't irritate me. But I think it depends on your skin type, since many people do very well with YTTP toner.

What happened after 10 days of a vitamin C line
What happened after 10 days of a vitamin C line
Over the past 10 days I have been trying out Georgette Klinger’s Vitamin C line! For a bit of background, I have acne prone skin and some hyperpigmentation from previous pimples. I went into this hoping to see improvements. To get the negatives out of the way first, I really dislike that these products have fragrance. All 4 products in this line have fragrance listed as the last ingredient. I would prefer products with active ingredients such as vitamin C to have no fragrance at all as to reduce any chance of irritation. The Vitamin C complex in particular was irritating to my skin so I omitted it from my routine early in the 10 days. My favorite from his line is the Vitamin C mask. I’m a big fan of masks and wash off treatments. I also love thta this is a bentonite clay based mask because those tend to work well with my oily skin. I will definitely continue to use this mask and don’t mind the fragrance in this formula because it is a wash off. As for the toner and cleanser, I didn’t see much positive or negative effects on my skin. They were okay and got the job done but I’m not sure if they’re something I want to include in my everyday routine. At the end of this challenge I can definitely see an improvement in the brightness of my skin. I will say however that my skin took a while to recover from any irritation it faced and I’m not sure if including an active ingredient in every step of your routine is necessarily more effective.

Morning Routine for GLOWING Skin
Morning Routine for GLOWING Skin
After 3 months, I perfected my routine for: ✨GLOWING SKIN✨ My concerns: mild acne, moderate cystic acne, large pores, redness, uneven skin tone, prevent aging proactiv - MD Essentials System Value Set I’m allergic to benzoyl peroxide, so I had to find alternatives for my acne prone skin. When Proactiv came out with a formula that was benzoyl peroxide free, I jumped on it! On this routine, I have seen huge improvements in my breakouts, pore size, skin tone and texture. Each step in the kit and other: Step 1 Cleanse and Rinse proactiv - Deep Cleansing Face Wash This wash is gentile and leaves my face feeling smooth and soft. It has micro exfoliating beads that remove impurities and help keep skin clear. Step 2 Toner proactiv - Balancing Toner After breaking up with witch hazel, there’s no going back! I love this toner because I don’t feel dry at all like I usually do with toners. Leaves skin feeling clean and refreshed. Step 3 Serum (formerly my spot treatment step) #Apostrophe - Azelaic Acid Formula (Azelaic Acid 15% + Niacinamide 4%)[products]#[FiveStars] Although Proactiv MD cleared up most of my breakouts and reduced pore size, I still struggled with dark spots and jawline cystic acne. I knew I needed something a little stronger that was also compatible when using retinoids (night routine.) Apostrophe’s formula reduced my dark post-acne marks and evened my skin tone and texture. It also has anti-aging properties. No need for spot treatment, it’s designed to be used all over face. Pea size amount recommended. Step 4 Serum timeless SKIN CARE - 20% Vitamin C + E Ferulic Acid Serum BEST dupe for SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic Serum. Brightens skin after just a few weeks and helps with my uneven skin tone. Protects against environmental pollutants. 1-1.5 pumps for entire face. Step 5 Eye Cream proactiv - Eye Brightening Serum Eye creams can be scary, as the skin around the eyes is so sensitive! This eye cream is packed with peptides, vitamins C and E. While I noticed reduced puffiness, I hadn’t noticed an anti-aging difference until my boyfriend pointed out how “smooth it looks” under my eyes 😂 Step 6 Moisturizer/Step 7 SPF proactiv - Daily Oil Control Moisturizer SPF 30 🔑 Hydration is key when treating acne prone skin! I love that this moisturizer is lightweight, non-greasy and soft. Since it already has SPF 30, no need to use a separate sunscreen unless you will have prolonged direct sun exposure. Any skin type can use this gentle product. 1-1.5 pumps is all you need. Dries quickly. Step 8 Face Oil eve hansen - Golden Rosehip Face Oil I don’t use face oil everyday, more like 3-4x per week, when I feel like I need extra hydration. Helps reduce redness and locks in moisture! Has skin regenerative properties. Only 3-5 drops needed.

Skincare routine for my sensitive skin!!
Skincare routine for my sensitive skin!!
My skin type: sensitive & acne-prone skin · STEP1: FIRST AID BEAUTY - Gentle Foaming Face Cleanser I have used it for a month, and I seriously love this stuff, super gentle on my sensitive skin! It's a silky formula that leaves my skin very soft. I only had a few minor breakouts, but nothing like I had before. The bottle is pretty big, so it'll last me a while, but I'll be repurchasing this once I run out! · STEP2: Darphin - INTRAL Toner I have sensitive skin and have always had adverse reactions to toners, so I skip them. However, I love the intral cleansing milk, so I was curious about this toner and saw such good reviews about it helping others with their redness, so I asked for a trial size of it from a store. After using it each day, I had to buy it. It's easily the most gentle and soothing toner I've ever used. It reduces my redness and feels calming to put on. · STEP3: CAUDALIE - Vinosource SOS Deep Hydration Serum I love this serum! Whenever my face is irritated, I apply it before bed, and by the next day, my skin is smooth, and the serum helps to calm the breakout or tired skin. It is gentle, hydrates, and works well for sensitive skin. It did not fix my dark spots altogether, but it does even out the skin a little. Give it a try :)

🌟For combo skin🌟My Skincare Routine After Years of Exploration...
🌟For combo skin🌟My Skincare Routine After Years of Exploration...
I have combination skin in summer and combination-dry skin in winter. My T-zone is not very oily and my cheeks are pretty normal. I get allergies easily during the change of seasons, so repairing my skin barrier is what I focus on for my skincare. 😫😫😫 Here is my skincare routine.  Cleansing: I only wash my face with water every morning. Girls with dry-sensitive skin don't need to over-cleanse, just splash your face with some cold water.💦💦 Toner:#OLE HENRIKSEN - Balancing Force Oil Control Toner[products]#[FiveStars] This is a product with a great reputation, containing green tea, eucalyptus, algae, and Irish moss extracts with a blend of both beta hydroxy acid (BHA) and alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs). This refreshing toner smells like peppermint and it feels great in summer. It maintains the oil and water balance of skin and doesn't leave your skin feeling dry, so it's suitable for most skin types, even dry skin. Apply it on your T-zone and hairline after removing your makeup and cleansing, and you'll feel instantly refreshed. Lotion:  I'm using the moisturizer version of ALBION milk lotion which is more suitable for dry skin. I use it with the skin conditioner essential to keep my skin hydrated and stable. I'll pour some of the skin conditioner onto a cotton pad and apply it on my face as a toner mask when I have acne and it really helps clear problem areas from just the next day. Serum: SHISEIDO - Ultimune Power Infusing Serum Concentrate is my true love and I've been repurchasing it over and over again. It keeps my skin healthy and delicate, and I rarely have acne breakouts anymore. The main ingredients in this Murad serum are peptides and three kinds of plant-derived extracts which are both moisturizing and anti-aging. The official website clearly states using it last in your skincare routine. Its texture is a little heavier than normal hydrating serums, so I recommend it for those with dry skin. Eye Cream:SHISEIDO - Benefiance WrinkleResist24 Intensive Eye Contour Cream& LANCÔME - Advanced Génifique Youth Activating Serum I recommend those with dry skin to try using the Lancôme Serum with the Benefiance eye cream. Lancôme Advanced Génifique Serum is a water-based serum that's extremely moisturizing. You can apply the serum onto your face with the "ball-tip" applicator then massage it with your fingertips until it's fully absorbed by the skin. Then I'll follow up with Shiseido Eye Cream in the evening during fall and winter. It's moisturizing but not oily and it's also effective in getting rid of laugh lines. Facial Cream: SK-II - R.N.A. Power Radical New Age Cream, ORIGINS - High-Potency Night-a-Mins Resurfacing Cream With Fruit-Derived AHAs, and Dr. Jart+ - Ceramidin Cream These three facial creams that I chose have their own advantages. SK-II New Age Cream has a thick and heavy texture but it spreads easily and is super moisturizing. After it's absorbed, I feel that it leaves my skin with a protective layer, sealing in the moisture and nutrition. It also accelerates skin's metabolism when you use it during allergy flares. Origins Renewal Cream has a luscious texture and it spreads easily. Emulsify it on your palm before massaging it onto your skin until it's fully absorbed. However, this cream is only suitable for dry skin and for those who are not allergic to AHAs and mineral oil. On the other hand, Dr. Jart+ is great for sensitive skin. Ceramide and squalane are both useful in keeping our skin hydrated and in repairing our skin barrier, so I always use it when my skin flakes during allergy flares. Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Cream can quickly reduce skin redness and relieve itching. I find it better than First Aid Beauty and CeraVe, and compared to the high-priced La Mer, Dr. Jart is more afforable. That's all I have for today. Thanks a lot for reading it! If you have any suggestions or questions hmu 🥰
