Empties and Their Replacements 🖤🌈
Hey, friends!! I hope everyone’s month is off to a great start! New month, new product replacements. Here are my month’s empties and their replacements! 🙏🏻🤍 CAUDALIE - Limited Edition Beauty Elixir oh my did I LOVE this spray! The smell was fantastic, it was like having my face in a pile of rose petals. It truly made my skin feel fresh and wonderful! Most of the complaints say that since it has fragrance, it’s not good for your skin, but I find that to not be true for me. I don’t really have sensitive skin, it’s pretty normal, so honestly the fragrance doesn’t bother me at all. It made my pores look smaller, my skin glow, and it really has been helping me with my maskne. Just a few pumps into my mask like 30 minutes before I wear it and I noticed I haven’t had as many breakouts due to my mask. Unfortunately, this was a limited edition scent so even though this one was my favorite, I still like the brand and the benefits of the spray so I got the CAUDALIE - CAUDALIE Beauty Elixir in the original scent. It’s not as nice as the rose that’s why I docked it 1 star but it’s still pretty refreshing. Briogeo - Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-exfoliating Scalp Scrub Shampoo best shampoo for dry scalp, hands down! Is smells great, it feels amazing, and it lathers so nicely, especially when I use my Briogeo - Scalp Revival Stimulating Therapy Massager with it! The only problem is I wish it came in a bigger size because it only lasted me about 2 and a half months and I only wash my hair twice a week. Murad - Oil and Pore Control Mattifier SPF45 PA++++ 50ml I got this in the small trial size and I absolutely loved it. The spf was creamy but didn’t leave any residue and it didn’t make my face peel like some spfs. I can also see a difference in my pore visibility and oil production when I use this product. 5/5⭐️ Now my last empty is Dove - Dry Spray Antiperspirant & Deodorant Rose Petals it’s not the rose petal smell but this was the closest I could find to my deodorant. I like that it’s a spray and I like the scent but I don’t like that it has aluminum. I love the dove brand and their bar soaps are perfect for my skin (coming soon to another post) however I’m looking for an all natural deodorant. Also this deodorant says 48 hour coverage but it doesn’t even last me the whole day so it’s a little frustrating. Anyone have a favorite natural deodorant or brand? Help a girl out 🙏🏻
All natural toning mist
The natural toning mist CAUDALIE - Limited Edition Beauty Elixir which is formulated with toning rosemary, astringent mint, and soothing rose organic essential oil that tightens pores, sets makeup and provides an instant shot of radiance to the skin. Because of the all-natural ingredients, there are no chemical emulsifiers in the product, so there will be a ring yellowish oil at the top of the liquid. It is the essential oil component of the Beauty Elixir that separated from the water component. I love using this toning mist in after the first step of cleansing. It gives me the ultimate glow and radiance. I also wet my makeup sponge and spray it with the Beauty Elixir and pat my foundation in. It helps to apply my foundation smoother and I feel more hydrates.
Thought I'd give a quick first impressions of a couple of products! touchinsol Feel Like Honey Moon Skin Base - this primer is such an unusual texture! It really is like runny honey but not sticky. It applies really well, giving skin an even finish with a subtle glow✨ Gorgeous! drjart Ceramidin Liquid - I'd class this as an essence as it's thicker than a toner but it's not quite a serum. I've been using it after cleansing, before serums. It's quite fragranced which I didn't expect. My skin just drinks this up and is left hydrated and plump. Fabulous stuff!

I am in love with my everskincare palette I got from lisa pretto! I love how small and compact it is! It’s super convenient for on the go. It’s not only handy, but has the perfect sized mirror too! I have used the elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel and I am very pleased with the results! I am happy that I have actually started using peels because they are doing wonders on my skin. The luci skin Radiant Face Gel has become one of my go-to’s for when my face has been extra dull looking and I need an extra boost of glow. This is also super convenient to have on hand at any day of the week! Of course, I could not forget to mention the heyhoney Trick and Treat Cream Concealer! I got it once a while ago in an ipsy bag and instantly fell in love with the texture and amazing coverage!

Fall Favorite Moisturizer
This Beauty Bio moisturizer has been a staple to my fall daily routine- I love the slight rose scent, and how soft and supple my skin feels all day! The only thing I don’t like is that my makeup pills with this underneath. Besides that, this is my go to for these drier, colder days!

This smells like natural beautiful goodness. It gives a perfect glow to the skin when used over, under or even mixed with makeup! You can’t get over the beautiful glass bottle and how luxurious it feels in your hand. It’s the perfect mistlilah b. - Aglow Face Mist

lamuse 💕 Correct Care Complete Cushion SPF50+/PA+++ I didn't know what a CC cushion was when I got this, but I've since learned that it's a tinted complexion product that is applied with a cushion sponge. La Muse's only comes in one color, a neutral-to-cool toned tan. Since the coverage is light and the texture weightless, this shade would match most people with medium beige complexions. The focus of the product is actually on the high SPF that can be used to touch-up over fading makeup. This is a mineral-based sunscreen with zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. ☀️I love cushion sunscreens as a touch up, and this one is light and matte. The only downside is that the neutral-to-cool tone will dampen any blush or highlight you've got going on, but I guess that's inevitable with any cushion product! 💕 Micro Foaming Balancing Toner This toner turns into a bubbling foam when pumped out of the nozzle. The product claims to be pH-balancing (though I couldn't find the exact pH online) and contains mulberry extract (brightening) and witch hazel extract (tightening, anti-acne). It feels and layers fine. Overall a cute product, but IMO not a must-have - I couldn't find a clear use case for it.

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.4 DAYS AGO
