Say goodbye to hard pan!
#ad #cheriepartner I recently realized that my favorite (and new) Charlotte Tilbury bronzer had developed hard pan. I immediately turned to my google search bar and found a super helpful blog post from Subtl Beauty-I learned what causes hard pan (not washing your brushes often enough or using the same. brush for creams and powders, oops) and more importantly, how to get rid of the dreadful hard pan. If you don’t know what hard pan is, it’s when the surface of a pressed powder product hardens and doesn’t give much color payoff. It usually also darkens in color. I’m using the scotch tape to remove the hardened product, making my bronzer look (and perform) good as new! This hack worked like a charm! I am so happy I was able to save this bronzer. Not only is it my favorite, it’s expensive! 😅 Who else is committing to washing your brushes more often?! 🙋🏼♀️
MILANI - MILANI Baked Blush $ 9.49 @ ULTA I don’t know about y’all but I love and always have loved Milani cosmetics they have been a drug store favorite of mine for years! They have quite a lot of products, none of which are less than amazing for their low cost!!! This baked powder blush is in dolce pink it is a multipurpose blush that shapes contours and highlights it also comes with a secret little mirror underneath the blush and a brush to apply it although I don’t use that brush. I love how shimmery this blush is!! Before I stepped into using true highlighters this product pretty much did everything for me. I have been a pale one for a very long time and a lot of times blush can look over done on my face but this one was like my always perfect amount of rosie.🤗 I feel like it’s a really delicate baked blush and it’s not overpowering at all. I honestly don’t ever worry about having too much excess on my blush brush because this one is just so delicate of a pigment. And because it’s not a “little goes a long way” product I feel like it’s easier to work with for those who haven’t had the best of luck learning how to blend out their makeup. No judgment here that takes time LOL! Overall this is a really great drugstore brand I always keep in my cosmetic box no matter what! ❤️

I tried a mist blush! 🤡😯
And the first of its kind apparently! I consider myself a blush connoisseur, I’ve tried... a lot. Powder, cream, liquid, I’ve tried my fair share. Blush is my ultimate favorite makeup product and there’s no such thing as ‘too much blush’ in my book. When Deck of Scarlet reached out to ask if I’d like to try their new DECK OF SCARLET - [Mist]Ake Proof Blush I couldn’t let it pass! I’ve been experimenting a lot more with makeup lately, these sounded so interesting to me. And wow, am I surprised by how much I like these! I picked two blush shades, Unruly is a soft lavender/lilac color and Relentless, a peachier shade which I tend to gravitate to. I used Unruly almost all over my face really to create a dreamy, ethereal, nymph-esque lewk (last slide) and I just love how my skin looks! The fine mist blush leaves a smooth, air-brushed look on the skin while still maintaining its radiance. It creates a second skin finish. I wish I could just spray these on my face and go lol but it’s easier to work with if you spray it unto your hand first then pick it up with a brush or sponge. The packaging is the only downside for me, I love he sleek bottles but the material is that type of material that gets all finger print-y and it’s hard to keep clean. Other than that 10/10 for me!!

Love this blush!!!!
Well, I know this is a tiktok but it’s makeup related... really I just wanted to say how amazing the NYX - Bare With Me Cannabis Cheek Color is! I got it in rum punch with looked sooo dark when I first bought it but I must say it’s beautiful. As it’s a hell all you do it’s press your finger into it for pay off and it’s sheer yet packs a natural punch? It also has a great dry time just enough to work with but not enough that the rest of your makeup has to wait!

Blush or Bronzer? Which one will I pick?
All of us crave for glowy, dewy skin with a hint of shine but there are days when our skin needs a little help, especially when we are experiencing stress or fatigue. Blush and bronzer are my must-haves to achieve this lit-from-within glowy goddess look. While both products may seem to deliver the same effects, the ways in which they are used and their results can differ. My general tip is that bronzer can operate as a blush, but blush is not bronzer. Blush is used to add a flush of color to the cheeks and cheekbones, while bronzer lets you acheive a tan, and can be applied to the cheekbones and brow, jawline, other contours of the face and décolletage. For a more formal occasion, I may use both products together to create a more contoured look. As my make-up look these days is more natural and casual, I tend to lean towards just using a blush. I can forego using a bronzer but blush is a must-have for adding a hint of natural rosiness to the cheeks and to achieve a vibrant, fresh-faced look! My go-to blush at the moment is L'oreal Le Bar A Blush. Packaged in a compact case that makes it convenient for bringing out for touch-ups, the blush also includes a mini applicator with soft hairs. The color is neutral enough to bring out a soft glow on my tan skin, thanks to a natural sheen of gold dust in the formula. The blush helps to add a touch of softer, flushed color for everyday day wear, and if I want to progress into evening activities, I simply blot any excess oil on my face and layer on the existing blush on my face. It is always good to remember that less is more! It is simpler to layer a little of product each time to get the look that you desire. ;)
