What is it? Meltdown is an oil that is targeted for all skin types to help those who experience pesky cystic and hormonal breakouts. It claims to fight inflammation and active breakouts, shrink pores, and prevent scarring using only 13 ingredients! It contains rosehip oil, blue tansy oil, tamanu oil, lavender and black cumin seed oil. You only need a drop or two and can use it as a spot treatment, mixed in with moisturizers or mixed into a face mask. In my experience, this oil did help so well with redness and inflammation I was having around my jawline. I had one breakout that was forming and I feel it didn’t get as intense as they usually would when I was using this! I don’t experience cystic acne or many hormonal breakouts, but redness was significantly reduced. I’ve been using on and off for a few weeks only as a spot treatment so I haven’t been able to notice any significant fading of old PIH. The scent is VERY strong. Almost a bit overwhelming for me. I’m not sure I could mix in with a moisturizer just because of the scent. Also, not sure if the lavender oil could cause any sensitization to skin if your skin doesn’t agree well with essential oils. So, I think this is definitely up there with some other spot treatments I’ve tried. It’s pretty reasonably priced at 28 USD. Blume is an amazing company that was founded by women and celebrate womanhood and they create products that are environmentally friendly! I think it is worth it to try out Meltdown and there are a few other Blume products I’d be willing to try. *product was gifted but opinions are my own! My rating: 3/5

Oil for acne?
Okay, so to begin I think it’s important to say that I’ve only ever really dealt with hormonal acne or the occasional breakout bc I used a product that my skin hates or I’ve eaten like absolute garbage for a week straight All this being said, I really like the HERBIVORE - Lapis Blue Tansy Face Oil For Oily & Acne-Prone Skin for whenever my skin is breaking out and irritated - this product contains blue tansy which is so great at reducing redness, and has definitely been my go-to product reverently. There is a pretty strong smell though as this ingredient has a super distinct smell to it, so that can be irritating. This is a super lightweight oil and sinks into the skin well - it isn’t the best at layering though, so it sometimes pills. This and the smell are why I’m docking it 1 star. It’s $72 for 1.7 oz which is definitely a high price, and there are cheaper options, but it is genuinely so good and my go-to in the drier months for helping with acne and redness

Resurfacing and Resurrecting
Ominous title but that’s just how I’m feeling... lol. I just received the much raved about DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Resurfacing Night Serumand quite frankly... I’m shocked how tiny it is given it was $90.00! I don’t know what o was expecting but my goodness this better resurface my skin so well that it’s as smooth as a baby’s bottom! No but seriously, I have pretty bad #maskne given I’m a registered nurse and have raging hormones (and crippling anxiety). So I’m hoping this makes my skincare dreams come true. Side note: now that I’m starting a gycolic facial serum and still am using my salicylic acid pads, I figured I’d reintroduce and resurrect one of my most trusty and hydrating companions: L'OCCITANE - Immortelle Divine Youth Oil This oil is my absolute favorite oil and has made my skin looking supple, hydrated, and calm just with occasional use. Because this too is expensive, I use it very sparingly! A little goes a long way! Amazing for dry and acne prone skin due to it being noncomedogenic and very lightly fragranced. Love L’Occitane products (I totally used to work for them!) Have any of you had amazing success with the glycolic serum from Drunk Elephant? Any major pros or cons? Share your insights!

acne treatment facial oil
say bye bye to blemishes with BLUME - Meltdown Oil for Acne-Prone Skin , an acne blemish treatment designed to reduce inflammation and acne scarring. Meltdown is packed with antibacterial ingredients like blue tansy, black cumin seed oil, and rosehip oil. i’ve been using this at least once or twice a week (and often more when dealing with a breakout) for about a month now. this doesn’t make my acne disappear overnight, but it definitely reduces inflammation, size, and redness and speeds up the process of healing acne. the texture is a very very lightweight oil. you can either apply directly on the skin or mix in with your moisturizer. most of the time I like to mix this in with my moisturizer. I think this is a very gentle acne treatment that doesn’t contain ingredients like salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide that can be quite harsh or irritating for some people. I think this is a great alternative and can be used alongside other actives. I love the concept of an acne treatment facial oil because it treats acne without drying out your skin. at $28/.5oz, I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for an acne treatment at a reasonable price. overall, I give this 5/5 stars because it caused no irritation, helps treat my acne, and is reasonably priced. I also love the brand and everything they stand for.

OMG！🌟Best couple for acne
These two are the best couple of products for my acne-prone skin! I have been fighting acne since I was 16 and nothing has been able to clear my face totally. Until last month my dermatologist recommended SkinCeuticals serum and Differin Gel to me. After using them a few days a week for one month, it is very helpful for helping reduce breakouts and calm redness-prone skin. These two products really had made a difference and also seem to have clarifying qualities to it. Phyto Corrective Gel is a hydrating, soothing gel serum with botanical ingredients ideal for calming and hydrating skin. The key ingredient contains hyaluronic acid, cucumber, thyme, which help to soothe and calm skin. I think it does exactly what it claims. It calms the skin, reduces redness, is moisturizing and calming. I have been using it for more than a month, consistent night and day use is the key and not putting too much on because a little goes a long way. Best discoloration product ever! Differin Adapalene Gel, this is a great acne treatment. Prescription-strength retinoid provides the fastest results—you'll start to see changes in about a month. So it took only a fast 3~4 weeks until my skin was completely cleared, and I've never been more confident in my skin ever! I like that it absorbs easily when applied and does not irritate my skin. Since using the product regularly, I have seen a significant difference in my acne breakouts, and my skin is more even-toned. It is also smoother & softer.
