Spring Makeup - Floral Pattern tutorial
Now spring is here. I’m so happy to have new makeup look - floral pattern. This idea comes from Insta Blogger Melovemealot! I used Natasha Denona Sunset Palette and Ysl Eyeshadow Palette #10 as the shades. And, use Kiss Me eyeliner to draw the outline. Here is the tutorial of this floral pattern. The Perfect Nude
Let’s talk lippies 💋 #ad #cheriepartner #cheriecreator As a person with medium-warm skin, I’ve surprisingly had a tough time finding the perfect lip shades to suit my coloring. Red’s have always suited me, but were never practical for everyday The search for the perfect nude shade was a several year long journey for me, but once i got my hands on a few shades of Sunnie’s Face’s Fluffmate lipstick, I knew I had found the one. Shades from L to R: Milk Tea - warm beige nude Casual - peach brown nude Vacay - peachy papaya I tend to reach for Casual the most because it’s a slightly deeper brown that is extremely flattering. The formula has a matte finish and applies silky and creamy — no dry lips here. The color itself lasts a good portion of the day and I’ve had no issues with smudging. One quick swipe is all you need for rich, buildable pigment that can also be used on your eyes and cheeks. I really appreciate the accessible price point of $16.95 on PNY Beauty and I tend to purchase multiples at a time due to their popularity and selling out so fast. Fluffmate is very much worth trying if you’re looking for new color, especially a flattering nude. The brand says to have designed each shade to be universally flattering, which rings true for my experience. I’ve been extremely happy with each one I’ve tried 🤍
Brand Review- Bathing Culture!
I came across this brand on an ITG blog post, and I’m obsessed!! From the sustainable packaging to the ingredients to the natural subtle fragrance, I love everything about these two products I have tried so far. First up, Mind and Body Wash- This is an organic shower gel that feels like it is truly nourishing your skin instead of stripping it. It doesn’t suds up like other shower gels, and contains certified organic ingredients. I was shocked after trying this out to see that it contains coconut oil as the first ingredient. This leaves no residue that I can tell, and hasn’t broken me out at all. The scent is definitely woodsy, and very subtle and calming. This is probably my favorite body wash I’ve tried in a long time, and it will continue to be a staple in my shower routine. You can buy this with or without the pump for easy recycling, and they also sell smaller sizes for travel and a bulk gallon refill size. Price-$35 for a 16oz refillable glass bottle. I think this bottle has lasted me around 4-5 months now but I use a lot and I haven’t finished the bottle yet so it can probably last at least up to 6 months or even longer! 5/5⭐️ (I honestly would give this 6 stars if I could, just for the coconut oil sorcery 🤔) Golden Hour Hydrosol- the first time I used this I was convinced it was a dupe for the Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist! The scent is so beautiful and not overpowering at all. This is a light spray, so it’s not extremely hydrating, but is perfect for summer. It leaves my skin soft and ready for the next step in my skincare routine. The one grievance I have with this is that I wish they made a refill, since recycling pump tops can be difficult and sometimes impossible! Other than that this is a perfect facial spray for spring and summer. Price- $20 for 3 oz, pretty comparable to other conventional facial sprays, and more cost effective than a lot of clean/organic ones. I will probably try to find something more hydrating in the winter, but overall I give this 5/5⭐️ ☺️ I am a big fan of this brand so far, and can’t wait to see what else they come out with 🌞🛀🏻🌿
Classy Sock Bun Updo
For a fast, quick and easy updo...the Classy sock bun! 1. Take any old sock and snip the end (toe part) off, next roll it up until it forms a donut hole shape 2. Put your hair into a high pony tail 3. Take pony tail into the air, begin at the tippy end, then use the donut hole and fold hair inwards everytime you start getting closer to the scalp. 4. Once the bun starts forming and snug, you can adjust it to be more full 5. (Optional) secure with a few bobby pins and don't forget to spritz on the Hairspray for extra hold!
Merzy Velvet Tint Season 3 Collection
Merzy is a Korean cosmetic brand. I’ve used many of their products, and I really like them. I just got this new lip tint set so I wanted to show you guys their beautiful textures and colors. They’re long lasting, didn’t get washed off after eating or drinking. The lip tints have this sweet cherry scent that I love. They glide smoothly on your lips, don’t feel heavy and don’t make your lips feel dry. This is just my personal opinion of these products and would love to answer any of your questions . Hope you enjoy this post. I think these shades would look so cute on anyone.
📚 𝓢𝓴𝓲𝓷𝓬𝓪𝓻𝓮 𝓡𝓮𝓪𝓭𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓛𝓲𝓼𝓽 📚
💳🛍I recently went on a book ordering spree... (😝one of my favorite things, besides skincare splurges) 💻 Even though we can get seemingly endless information about skincare online, I was curious to seek out some books because I love the tactility & I really hate reading on a screen. Regarding ingredients, there is a plethora of opposing information online, & I’m sure these books will yield some of that too. It’s important to cross reference your searches, meaning checking multiple sources & comparing that information. It’s also important to consider what site is providing the information & whom might benefit from it. 📚Swipe to peek inside📖 PRETTY ICONIC A Personal Look at the Beauty Products That Changed the World By Sali Hughes 2016 💄$18-$21 (paperback version) I was most excited about this one, I’m a big fan of pop culture history & of course I love beauty products.
