Easy 10 MIN makeup look. Out the door!
I’m all about finding easy natural looking makeup looks. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good glam session, but most times I am pressed for time and need to get out the door. These are some of my go-to products for times like that! Minimal but still a really pretty makeup look! I have combo skin, and right now my tone is light-medium! For a quick look I’m all about time efficiency! I use Perricone MD - No Makeup Foundation Serum Broad Spectrum SPF 20 for a quick sheen finish and evening out my skin (I have some hyperpigmentation spots). This stuff is really great. It’s really lightweight and it genuinely looks like you aren’t wearing any makeup! I would almost compare it to Ilia Beauty’s skin tint but this one is not oily at all. I prefer the perricone one more! I like to use the Kosas - 10-Second Eyeshadow for a quick one sweep over the eye. It is truly a liquid formula but it dries down to a matte. There is minimal creasing, but there still is some. #Laura Mercier - Blush[products]#[FiveStars] in the shade fresco is the perfect nude blush for me. It has a sheen shimmery finish but it doesn’t look gawdy or overdone. It is perfect to shape out your face and I can even put this one my eyes for a pretty nude eye look also. Glossier. - Brow Flick is what I use on my brows because it gives the perfect “brow strokes.” It’s so easy to use but you have to have a very light hand to make sure it is not over done! I’ve been using false lashes because they’re easy to use and makes the look complete! ARDELL - Wispies Lash they’re cheap and can be done in under a minute! Hope you liked this look! #cheriepartner

my everyday makeup routine
hey all! i try to keep my everyday makeup routine as simple as possible. it takes around 10 minutes every morning and is perfect for a more natural look. Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color this blush is perfect! the color perfectly suits my skin tone and it takes the tiniest amount of product because it is so pigmented! OFRA - Versatile Matte Bronzer this bronzer is perfect for just a subtle glow! ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Brow Wiz Mechanical Brow Pencil this brow pencil is perfect to brush out your eyebrows and then fill in any spots where they are a little thin. somehow matches by dirty blonde brows perfectly! Glossier. - Balm Dotcom i have this in mango and it smells sooooo good. it also has a coral pigment that is very subtle but still super pretty. NYX - #Thisiseverything Lip Oil i have a sample of this and it is the perfect lip oil! gives a shine and makes my lips sooo hydrated! Glossier. - Skywash i use this in the color pebble and it is very sheer. it takes a couple of coats to build it up but perfect for just a subtle look! it Cosmetics - Lash Blowout Volumizing Mascara in terms of mascara, this is not my favorite, but i often come back to it because of how easy it is to take off! and that's it! i hope you enjoyed this and/ or it inspired you! (all photos are mine)
Best dupe for ABH Brow Pencil!
I will never forget the first time I walked into a Sephora looking for something to use on my brows and was given the total. “One ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Brow Wiz Mechanical Brow Pencil will be 21 dollars please”. I had 5 dollars on me😳. I found the results to be pretty great but that much for a pencil? I had to find something better. I began working at ulta and heard through many of my customers that e.l.f. - Instant Lift Brow Pencil was their beauty look staple and only cost them a whole 2 dollars. I had to try! I can now happily say I have been using this product for over 5 years and don’t plan on switching anytime soon. It goes on as easily as the ABH pencil, doesn’t smudge all day, and looks super natural. I even tried the e.l.f. - Lock on Liner and Brow Cream and got a more precise look using a thin slanted brush. The only reason I give that one 4 stars is because they don’t have a great range of colors so it was very dark (sometimes looking a little block-ish when I didn’t blend it properly). Love love love ELF!

Dreamy wearable lipliner
This Plumpline lipliner in “undercover” by Buxom is great for women with olive skin tone looking for that perfect warm neutral for a 90s feel. This lipliner is a chubby stick that can be sharpened with a sharpener for a pointed tip, there is also a synthetic brush on the opposite end. I used just this one product to line, then fill my lips in as lip color. The consistency of this product is creamy, it feels like having nothing on your lips so it is quite a comfortable wear. Great staple to have in your makeup bag. This is my favorite, easy to wear lipcolor for the Summer. BUXOM - Plumpline Lip Liner
My Go-To Mascaras
Let’s get right into business and let’s talk about ... mascaras! Who does not love a good and functional mascara? Well I am here to share with you all my top three for various occasions! First off let’s begin with the party animal of the bunch, MARIE DALGAR - Marie Dalgar Fiber Mascara Set which retails for $29.50 and you get the black wand to create a base, then the white wand to extend the fibers, and finally repeat the black wand once more. If you’re looking for the false lash look - repeat the steps! It’s such a dramatic looking mascara set and I recommend this K-beauty staple! I won this baby from The Beauty Spy giveaway but I am definitely buying this one when it’s done! Next, is the tarte - Maneater Mascara ($23.00) my everyday work mascara! I love that it does a nice natural looking eyelash appearance instead of overdoing it for work. I apply two coats for each eye with the help of an eyelash curler as well! I’m a weirdo and don’t apply to my bottom lash when I am at work but this one has such a full wand, that it can be done in one stroke! Tarte is great for sales and you can probably find this one for $10.00! Finally, we have our vacation URBAN DECAY - Perversion Mascara ! This travel size baby comes with me every time I’m leaving my home for a long or short trip! Full size retails for $25.00! This mascara is a lengthening AND volumizing, making it just right when you are going for a chill and fun look during vacay mode! It’s super black and easy to apply! These are my go-to mascaras and I stand by my choices! Hope you enjoy trying these in the future or now if you’re already using them! 🌞

Sephora Sale: tried & true with some new! 🛍
If you haven’t yet stopped by Sephora for the holiday sale, make sure you do! The sale ends 11/9 and Beauty Insiders get 10% off, VIBs have 15% off, and Rouges have 20% off! Shop soon to take advantage of the sale for holiday shopping or a treat for yourself! TATCHA - The Liquid Silk Canvas: Featherweight Protective Primer - I absolutely love this primer! As a person with combination skin, I try to not use heavy primers so that my pores aren’t clogged and my makeup doesn’t last, but this primer is so light. In addition to making your skin look great by blurring pores and lines while reducing oil, the floral fragrance and packaging are beautiful. On light makeup days, I love wearing this, spot concealer, and a light round of setting powder as a base. Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Toner - This is a new find for me that I picked up the other day and have already seen incredible results from! My typical combination skin has been dry in patches on my forehead and nose making it hard for me to wear foundation and or see any effects from my other skincare products. I decided to change my toner after seeing some reviews of this online and I’m so glad I picked it up. The fragrance is minimal, if any at all, and the hydrating properties are simply incredible. My skin feels smooth and the dry flakes have vanished over two days. Yesterday, I was able to wear my foundation for the first time since the summer without my skin feeling tight or having to slather on moisturizer. If you struggle with dry skin, take advantage of the squalane in this toner to revamp your skin! NARS - Soft Matte Complete Concealer - I purchased this concealer after hearing Mikayla rave about it on tik tok and needing a replacement for my benefit - Benefit Boi-Ing Industrial Strength Concealer that I’ve used for about a year! In comparing the NARS and Benefit, the NARS concealer has about twice the product! I’m incredibly pleased with this concealer’s ability to blend into the skin, be matte while not drying, and the pot packaging! If you’re looking for something to coverup a spot here and there, this is it. fresh - Rose Deep Hydration Oil-Infused Serum - I have an undying love for fresh products that began with thefresh - Sugar Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF 15 about two years ago. Since then, I have tried thefresh - Rose Face Mask , fresh - Rose Deep Hydration Toner , fresh - Lotus Anti- Aging Daily Moisturizer , and many more. This product is no exception and is one that is hydrating while not greasy. I’m totally aware that oil in the name can be unappealing, but it provides a nice healthy glow, softens, soothes, and absorbs so quickly. This is great face serum/oil that I recommend to people with dry, combination, normal skin and those who are not sensitive to fragrance.
Pink ladies 💅🏼
Loving the packaging on these guys! Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color love this stuff, but not quite as much as expected. I got the puff color, and while I love the color, it’s too pigmented for me. I end up having to rub it all over my cheeks just to make the color a bit lighter, then half my face is pink, instead of just the spots I want. It may be user error though, so I’ll keep trying. It truly lasts throughout the day, and I love the texture—super smooth on my cheeks. KYLIE COSMETICS - Kylighter this is meh for me. Again, possibly too pigmented. It really just takes a single swipe of the brush and you are good to go with pretty intense highlight. fresh - Sugar Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF 15 I was so excited to buy this stuff because the reviews are amazing! However, since I was getting it more for the chapstick/SPF purposes, I wish it wasn’t quite so dark on my lips. It really looks like lipstick, but the color doesn’t last like a lipstick. tarte - Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush For the life of me, I cannot get this stuff to stick on my makeup brush. No color comes off, so I’ve pretty much given up on making it work. Hanskin - Hyaluron Skin Essence I use this when my skin is feeling extra dry, usually paired with my moisturizer! I haven’t noticed a huge difference when I use it, however. KYLIE COSMETICS - Vitamin C Serum this is the first Vitamin C serum I have used, so I don’t have much to compare it to, and therefore don’t want to give it a super high or super low rating! I really like the consistency—it feels more like a moisturizer, but sinks into the skin quickly. It smells slightly odd, but that didn’t bother me. Overall, I think it was somewhat brightening for me, but I didn’t feel like I saw a major change. Glossier. - Wowder Weightless Finishing Powder love this stuff a lot on my skin, but the packaging is frustrating. It has sort of a net material on the inside, making it kind of difficult to get powder out. I do feel like it sits nicely on my face and lasts throughout the day, just wish I didn’t have such a hard time getting it out!

Tarte Cosmetics Brand - Fave & Least Fave
This will probably be a controversial opinion since I will be talking about how much I dislike a particular popular product, but remember not products work great on everyone! I absolutely love Tarte and it was my first ever Sephora purchase! I bought the Tarte LipSurgence in Enchanted back in my undergrad years est. 2010-2014 😅. That’s how you know you’re loyal when you have been with a brand for more than five years! I remember seeing all of their cute campaigns and wanting all of it! Here we are in 2020 and I’m still buying more Tarte products! Let’s begin with one of my favorite items, tarte - Tartelette Flirt Eyeshadow Palette . I asked for this pallet last Christmas and after a little over a year, I am almost half way done with it. In case you are wondering what happened to the top middle shade, I tried to de-pan this shade and my tool when right down the middle 😔. Other than that you can see I have used many of the shades. This pallet has six shades in matte and metallics. It’s perfect for on the go and can be used day or night depending on the look you want to go for! I mainly wear neutral shades on the daily so this one is perfect for me! It’s only $19.00 and at this price, it’s for sure a area! Now to my controversial opinion... I dislike the tarte - Shape Tape Concealer 👀. Yes I know this is many people’s favorite but for me it’s not a fan favorite item. This concealer retails for $27.00 (0.33oz), first of all it’s on the more expensive side for the amount of product you get. Then I find this to be incredibly too thick - like you can’t blend thick. I wore it a few times and felt the makeup on my face - this never happens to me since most of the time I forget I have makeup on. It’s meant to do so may things like give “eye lifts and blur imperfections” but I am not sold on it. It kind of bums me out that I don’t love it but it’s okay because I know not all items work like they say they will. Anywho, if you love this item - I am happy for you! Maybe I’ll give it another chance but for now I’m passing on it! Cheers 👋🏼.

okay, so I didn’t know if I had anything to contribute regarding mask makeup, BUT I did start doing my makeup a little different AND got complimented on it while wearing a mask, so that qualifies right?! essentially, the name of the game is 👁 e y e s 👁, since that’s the main feature you see when wearing a mask (as you should be!) here’s what I’ve been using lately: MAC - MAC Eyeshadow I start by using my finger to blend in an orange shade from MAC. using a different finger, I take a gold shimmery shade and apply that just to the area above my lashes. it’s not super neat but that’s okay! because then... I use HOURGLASS - Ambient Lighting Bronzer with a small brush to blend the eyeshadow into my skin! this helps it look really blended and beautiful. it’s such an easy trick and makes the biggest difference. I then line my waterline with this black liner. it’s so silky and drugstore so I’m a super fan! I also make a soft wing and use the sponge applicator on the end to smudge into a thinner line. it kinda got away from me today, but hey. I’m trying my best here, haha. RIMMEL - Exaggerate Waterproof Eyeliner LANCÔME - Monsieur Big Waterproof Mascara finish everything off with this volumzing mascara! I’ve mentioned this quite a few times, it’s a fave. that’s it! pretty simple right? honestly, however you wear your makeup as long as you wear a mask will be GORGEOUS!! stay safe out there! ☁️ #cheriepartner

WARM eyeshadow look 👀🔥
In the summer I tend to gravitate towards warmer eyeshadow colors. I think it looks good with a nice tan. I go for a fairy simple eye look, as in I don’t really ever use eyeliner anymore. I like to start out with a neutral crease color (bold) from my go-to pallete right now tarte - Tarteist PRO Amazonian Clay Palette Next I use Kosas - 10-Second Eyeshadow since it’s liquid (but it dries to a matte). These are very easy to blend and it sets a good base for the rest of the makeup. I added in some darker neutrals in the crease and corner to complete te a better blend (innocent, edgy—very little amount used). I then top with a shimmer to make it more bold. I used the color ethereal. My holy grail eyelash products to finish up the look. ILIA - Limitless Lash Mascara SHISEIDO - Shiseido Eyelash Curler This duo is SO SO good. The mascara has to wand tips so it accentuates length as well as volume all in one mascara. The curler is very nice as well, I usually “pump” and do 10 curls per eyelash. #cheriepartner
a guide to hooded eyes
here’s some very important do’s and don’ts for those of us with sleepy eyes or bedroom eyes- that i’ve found to get the most playful or sultry looks. 1) always utilise your eye space - bring your eyeshadow all the way up to your brow bone, and then “cut a crease” with a sparkly or dark eyeshadow in your natural fold to make it look like you have more eyelid than you actually do. to make it simpler, here’s your steps: a. primer/concealer b. base color c. crease to brow bone: medium shade d. crease: darkest shade (create a shadow) e. sparkly/bright color on eyelid f. blend! 2) dark colors outside, light colors inside -this creates some gorgeous depth and makes my eyes look sexy and mysterious even with a harshly blended smoky eye. a smoky eye becomes a whole new look for you when you create this kind of shape. 3) BLEND BLEND BLEND -ALWAYS and i mean ALWAYS blend your eyeshadow. if you don’t, you look like a 13 year old who got into Momma’s makeup bag. blending the base color into the crease color into your statement shimmer is the best way to make your seamless eye look really pop. 4) don’t be afraid of eyeliner! for the longest time, i was afraid of eyeliner because it would overshadow my eyeshadow and make my eyes look sunken and dark. if you make a nice thin line almost inside your lashes, you can give the illusion of more eyelid. my best tip for wings on hooded eyes is to draw the line first and then do one nice thin line angled towards the end of your eyebrow. then, if you want a thicker (or longer) wing you can work from there. ALSO! Give white crayon eyeliner on your waterline a shot. it give the illusion of bigger eyes, and brightens the white of your eyeball. don’t use liquid eyeliner for this, sh*t STINGS. 5) mascara!! -a good mascara opens your eyes up and makes you look bushy tailed and glamorous. now remember, if the rest of your makeup is low key, you can use a more natural mascara to look enhanced. however, if you have a shimmery smoky eye and cleopatra eyeliner, go big or go home baby! 6) highlight -highlight the inner corner of your eye. it makes your eye look bigger and draws attention across your eyes, making them appear more almond shaped. also, it just looks pretty! happy blending!

5 MIN GO-TO EYE LOOK✨ #CheriePartner
Some days I value sleep over getting ready but that doesn’t mean I have to opt for no makeup. Here is a simple eye look I create on those days where I am rushing/running late. The best part is it is travel friendly as it doesn’t require an additional eyeshadow pallet— just bronzers as the eyeshadow. To create: (Follow along with video) Products: MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - O!Mega Bronzer Coconut Perfect this product is the perfect contour shade for myself as it is a cool neutral tone. It contours the crease subtly. benefit - Hoola Bronzer Bash Value Set (in caramel). This product is a smooth and buttery formula that blends out the eye makeup with adding a touch of warmth back in. URBAN DECAY - Naked Illuminated Shimmering Powder for Face and Body I LOVE THIS HIGHLIGHTER!! It is extra shimmery adding so much sparkle to any look. Also there is no fallout which is a plus. L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascarathis mascara does a good job at adding length and separating the lashes for a voluminous effect. I do not experience clumping with this product.
