Color Match Combo Look
Today lovies I am sharing with you all one of my favorite eye color combo featuring an eyeshadow pallet and eyeliner. As you can see I have light to medium skin tone with a pink undertone with brunette hair and brown eyes. The look that complements my skin tone is a bronze eye look with a golden eyeliner! It’s an overall win across the board because it even complements my hair and eye color. Let’s begin with this beautiful eyeshadow pallet LUMINESS BEAUTY - Disney The Lion King Can't Wait To Be Queen Eyeshadow Palette

🦁 love this lion king palette by sir john!
in honor of the release of the epic, gorgeous visual experience ‘black is king,’ i want to share this LUMINESS BEAUTY - Disney The Lion King Can't Wait To Be Queen Eyeshadow Palette . have you ever bought a palette so lovely that you don’t even want to use it? 😆 that’s the case with this one. sir john is beyoncé’s makeup artist, so the shades have solid pigmentation for deeper skin. i’ve used this a few times for evening looks, and the staying power has been good. i love the shimmer shades best - zazu (blue) and simba (copper) are my favorites. this was a limited edition product but i will probably play around with it a bit more this summer!
Incredible formulas! Tati Beauty
Okay I know we all have palettes that look exactly like this, but THE FORMULA THO!!! Wow, major WOW. At first use I almost regretted spending the money on this Tati Beauty palette, but I’m on my 3rd use and I absolutely love it and see myself using this pretty much every time I do my makeup. For starters, these are all colors you can use for anything basic to glam, even a slight pop of color. Personally, the best part of this product is the formula of the shadows. I am blown away at how easily they blend, their pigmentation, lack of fall out, texture... etc. That alone is enough for me to recommend this palette to anyone and everyone. I have tried a lot of shadows and there are none similar in formulation to Tati Beauty. You’re paying for a great quality product and nice packaging for a really convenient price. I am using this palette everyday for my brows and eyeliner. The black shadow is insane! It’s better than most eyeliners I have. Goes on so smooth and opaque. The brown color, Ritual, is my new go to for my brows and it’s WAY better than a pomade just because of the formula. BASICALLY, I could go on and on about this palette. I really love it and I am so glad I was able to get my hands on it!
Just wanted to show my support as well as do a rainbow makeup look with the MORPHE - 35I Icy Fantasy Artistry Palette . Super cute palette. Morphe palettes are my favorite. The pigment isn’t too bold but you can definitely build the colors up which I love. Blending is also super easy since the pigment isn’t bold right off the bat which is great for beginners or even just practicing looks. Also a great palette for both subtle or dramatic looks. Some of the glitters show better when applied with your finger instead of a brush. If you want bold pigment to start I would suggest using a base. For my base I used e.l.f. - 16HR Camo Concealer w morphes translucent setting powder. All around great palette.

Current Drugstore Favourites
With all of the different brands and products out there it can be really hard to find quality products for a reasonable price. These are my current favourite beauty buys that are guaranteed to become your go-to’s, and the best part? They are all from the drugstore so won’t cost you an arm and a leg!! FLOWER - Flower Pots Powder Blush This blush is easy to blend, has buildable coverage and the formula is super creamy and buttery. It’s not super pigmented but I prefer it like this so I can build up the colour and avoid applying too much. REVOLUTION - Foil Frenzy Eyeshadow Palette These aren’t like typical foil eyeshadows that I’ve tried where they are difficult to apply and end up looking creased on my hooded eyes. The colours are gorgeous and super pigmented and creamy. Although it’s only foiled pigments in the palette there’s a good range of colours and I’ve been using it almost every day! Quick Beauty - Eyeliner Stamp Intense Black I’ve been using this on mornings when I’m in a rush. The liner itself dries matte and doesn’t smudge or transfer to my eyelid as well. They have a few different sizes to choose from, I have been using the “To The Point” liner which is the perfect thickness for my hooded eyes. L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara I have gone through a few bottles now and it never fails to make my eyelashes thicker and longer. It reminds me of the “Better Than Sex” mascara because of the thick wand and I find it makes it easier to apply and also less time consuming. MAYBELLINE - FaceStudio Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter I absolutely love the formula of this highlighter! It’s super buttery and buildable and gives the best glow. For those with fair complexion be careful of applying too much because it is a little too dark for my tone, but I usually mix it in with a cool toned highlighter to avoid this. SPOT MEDIC - Hydrocolloid Mask I use these on days when I know I’m not leaving home or over night. For smaller blemishes they are great at reducing inflammation and redness. For larger cystic acne I don’t see a great difference however it prevents me from picking at my skin hence why I’ve been using them so much!

Ooo, I’m Blinded By the Lights 💫
Touch in SOL was kind enough to send over one of the shades of their new product - Starlight Foiled Pigments. I received the shade “Coraly Star” , which has a gorgeous coral soft color base with multi-dimensional glitters. The glitter in the formula offer multi-color reflection to make your eye look extra eye-catching! ✨ I was surprised by the texture - I was anticipating this product to be somewhat crumbly or chunky due to the multi-dimensional glitter, but with one gentle swipe, I got a smooth & complete pay off. This is gorgeous to wear alone on the lid, as a topper, or for the inner corner eye area. No glitter glue required - no mess; fuss free! ✨ There are four gorgeous shades to choose from - I am definitely getting my hands on the other three! Be sure to check out my stories / Touch in SOL highlight for swatches! Available now at touchinsol-us.com for $14.40 for a limited time ($18 regularly). 💫 *Gifted but my thoughts are always 💯 touch in SOL - Metallist Starlight Foiled Pigment

Purples/Mauves for Green Eyes 🖤
I have really pale skin with green eyes so one of my favorite color combos I like to pair with that is purples and mauves. Personally, I feel like this is what compliments my complexion and eye color the best. One of my favorite palettes for this is the MORPHE - 39S Such A Gem Artistry Palette . While I feel most the shimmers are lacking in this palette, the mattes are really where they shine. This is always go my go palette for matte purple shadows. The majority of them (I tend to stick to the bottom left corner) are very pigmented and blend easily together. I always lean towards more mauve blushes as well. They compliment my green eye color well and give a really pretty flush to pale skin. My favorite is the tarte - Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in the shade Paaarty. I received this as a part of the 2018 Sephora birthday gift. They describe it more as a pinky nude but I personally think it pulls very mauve. I love this blush because it’s not too pigmented off the bat. I can really easily build up the color to what I want without it looking clownish. It lasts pretty well on me throughout the day and is normally the blush I reach towards. What color combos do you tend to reach for the most?

Travel Friendly Eyeshadow Palettes
Too Faced vs Tarte Most eyeshadow palettes nowadays contain every colour of the rainbow and tend to be bulky and take up a lot of space. Travel friendly, handbag size eyeshadow palettes are perfect for when you’re feeling extra glam but want to travel light. Two of my favourite portable palettes that will ease your packing woes are Too Faced’s Natural Eyes and Tarte’s tarteist™ PRO to go palette.Too Faced - Natural Eyeshadow Palette This palette has everything you need from the light “Heaven” shade which will highlight your inner corners to the dark and mysterious “Sexspresso” shade perfect for the crease. Everytime I run out of this palette I rebuy immediately - it's a must have in my collection! It comes with me everywhere I go and I sometimes use the “Silk Teddy” shade as a quick cheekbone highlighter top up throughout the day! Even for a small palette you get a lot of shadow inside, each colour is generous in size and even with regular use could last you around 6 months. It's a very easy to use, trusty nude palette and I would recommend it for beginners.tarte - Tarteist Pro to go Amazonian Clay Palette This adorable eyeshadow palette won’t break the bank. The long-wearing colours from this palette makes it suitable for creating both subtle and sultry looks. Your eye makeup will look fresh all day with its crease- and smudge-proof formula. I usually take this palette with me in my evening handbag as the colours are more suited to a darker more sparkly night time look. The “Crisp” shade is also very flattering for blue eyes and will make them pop! I regularly get compliments when I use this palette. The only thing I would say is that the case is not as sturdy as the Too Faced Palette and the shadow is much smaller so doesn’t last as long. With regular use this mini palette will last you around 2 months.
