Let’s talk moisturizers! 🍯 My absolute fav is the honey drop moisturizer by @farmacybeauty. - • it is super lightweight, yet hydrating to keep skin plump • smells soooo good, just like fresh honey • has a antioxidant-honey blend known for soothing & formulated with 6 superfoods for ultimate nourishment • includes hyaluronic acid to support firmness & elasticity • butter beads are added to this creamy cream-gel texture to help soften skin & melt into skin to provide long lasting moisture • non-greasy, gel cream formula is perfect for oily and sensitive skin - I have been using this for almost a year. It is truly my holy grail moisturizer and i think i will always continue to use this. It’s perfect my oily/combination skin and i find that it nourishes and heals any acne. It keeps me hydrated throughout the day and I’ve definitely seen many positive results from this. If you are looking for a new moisturizer, this is a 10/10. GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer Glow Recipe’s Pink Juice Moisturizer is A STAPLE for me. This is my go to moisturizer for the summer especially and then I will use this a serum during the winter months. YOU GOTTA LOVE VERSATILE PRODUCTS, amirite?!! * * * This moisturizer is a brightening, lightweight moisturizer, formulated with watermelon extract, hyaluronic acid, and botanicals to boost radiance and glow. For any skin type and it’s targeting dryness, redness, fine lines, and wrinkles. But when I mean lightweight, like DAMN, this is a lightweight gel, ya feel me. In the bottle, it looks like it would be thick and creamy and sticky, but noooooo!!! As you’ll see in my picture, it’s really lightweight. I love keeping this in my fridge cause it’s the best when it’s coooooling!! * * * I’ve repurchased 3 of these, so yes, you can say I love it or something like that. I’ve used this for at least two years now, and I wanted to originally try it because of the main ingredient- WATERMELON! I’m glad I did, because for $39 (or $21 for the mini), it lasts you quite a while. As a serum I only use 1-2 pumps, and if I wanted to use it as a moisturizer, probably about 4 pumps. My skin always feels glowy AF and super hydrated every time I use this sucker. * * * Now I mentioned the main ingredient is watermelon. This is so unique to me because I think this was the first beauty brand to incorporate watermelon extract, which hydrates the skin while delivering essential vitamins as well as anti inflammatory properties to soothe irritated skin. Hyaluronic Acid is also a key ingredient which hydrates the skin by holding up to 1000x its weight in moisture. This is a must, and since I’ve repurchased it quite a few times, well this deserves 5 stars!!

Dr. Jart Water Fuse is a very hydrating gel. I like to compare it to Clinique Moisture Surge. It is absorbed by my skin really easily, leaving it feeling hydrated without that sticky pore clogging feeling. It’s light and refreshing and helps cool my skin down. It’s gentle for sensitive skin and leaves me looking dewy! I highly recommend this product and hope to repurchase if I can find it again!

Saturday skin is a very interesting brand to me. I think their products are extremely expensive and I don’t hear a lot about the brand overall. So when I received this free sample from Sephora I knew I had to give it a go. This cream “Featherweight” by Saturday Skin SATURDAY SKIN - Featherweight Daily Moisturizing Cream claims to be a lightweight daily moisturizer with an exclusive 7-peptide formula and multiple fruit extracts to help the skin’s renewal process while keeping the moisture barrier intact. The texture to me is SO strange. When I heard “light moisturizer” and “peptide complex” I immediately thought it might be similar in texture to Protini by drunk elephant. However, the texture is THICK and it reminds me 100% of Summer Fridays Jet Lag when you first apply it. Within 10 minutes, it’s sunk in and you’re ready for SPF or bed. I have to be honest, the fruit extracts I think burned my skin a little bit—I was feeling the tingle! At night, I applied it over a squalane oil and in the morning I applied it over both my hyaluronic acid serum and my squalane oil. In the morning I used a nickel sized amount and experienced awesome hydration with little tingling—I had more at night for sure. I’m not sure if “daily moisturizer” is a fair statement to make for those with sensitive skin. I would probably advise against it if you are prone to rosacea or redness. For $50 for 1.69oz of product, it’s pretty on par with other luxury moisturizers but I don’t think I could EVER justify that for this—if you have oily/combination skin, go for it!! But if you are dry or redness prone, stay away. I am giving this 3 out of 5 stars due to the price and the tingles it gave my sensitive skin.
