✨☁️Pink Cloud Jelly Cleanser☁️1st Thoughts☁️✨
☁️Herbivore’s new(ish) & latest drop the Pink Cloud Creamy Jelly Cleanser 💖✨☁️ ☁️This product looks so dreamy and cute I didn’t hesitate to purchase a full size because I prayed my skin would love it as much as I wanted it to 😛 What is it? ☁️ Pink Cloud Rosewater + Tremella Creamy Jelly Cleanser - A jelly gel cleanser that gently and effectively removes make up, leaving skin clean + comfy without stripping skin of its moisture. ☁️ Recommended for all skin types, but always check ingredients first. The ingredients don’t lie bitch! 🙋♀️ 👀 Ingredients 👀 ☁️ Herbivore puts 3 ingredients in the spotlight 🌹 Rose Hydrosol 🍄 Tremella Mushroom 💦 Squalane ☁️ so how beneficial are these ingredients and is this cleanser formulated with high enough concentrations of them to reap the benefits? Rosewater 🌹 💦 is the second ingredient (after water), therefore there is a very high concentration in this formula. If rose water plays nice with your skin, it can help soothe + hydrate skin. Some are sensitive to rose ingredients or any essential oils or francgrances. As this is pure rose water, and not a rose essential oil, it’s likely to be less irritating. But always do a patch test! Tremella Mushroom 🍄 this extract is listed 10th out of 20 ingredients, so in my opinion that would be enough to benefit the skin. Squalane 💦 listed as the 6th ingredient out of 20. I definitely can tell there is a good amount of Squalane in this cleanser because it is so amazingly creamy + slippery + smooth + jelly-ish. I love using this cleanser because I can feel the Squalane protecting and nourishing my skin while the cleanser does its job 😊 Other awesome ingredients that I feel deserve their time in the spotlight are glycerin, camellia sinensis/green tea extract, aloe, + a small amount of sodium hyaluronate. 🙋♀️ My experience so far ☁️ I’ve only been using this for a few days, but I have sensitive skin + there have been no signs of it irritating my skin. I use this in the AM and then as my #2 in my PM double cleanse. This stuff is so ☁️ damn ☁️ jelly + soft + smooth I love rubbing it into my face for a good 1-2 minutes. It lathers into a really gentle foam. What do you guys think? Have you tried it? Would you? I will post updates after I’ve tried it longer. Thanks so much for reading. Have a beautiful day 🥰❤️ XOXOHERBIVORE - Pink Cloud Rosewater + Tremella Creamy Jelly Cleanser HERBIVORE - Pink Cloud Rosewater + Tremella Creamy Jelly Cleanser

The secret to long, healthy hair!✨💜
YES, that’s my hair! And I’m going to share with you some tips on how I got my hair to look like this! PSA: I’m not a hairdresser ❤️ Your shampoo DOES MATTER- stop using drug store shampoo/conditioner that’s just making your hair dried out and greasy. Some great and still affordable brands are PAUL MITCHELL - Clarifying Shampoo Two BIOSILK - Silk Therapy Shampoo MATRIX - Ultra Hydrasource Shampoo (I’m currently using the Paul Mitchell shampoo/conditioner) Tip: going to stores like marshals or TJ max can help save money on these products. ❤️ Cut the heat 🚫🔥 heat can damage your hair! And if you have to use heat styling tools PLEASE use a heat protectant spray. ❤️ Wash your hair only 2-3 times a week, you don’t want to strip your hair of its natural oils!! ❤️ Use hair oil or hair serum EVERY👏🏼SINGLE👏🏼DAY! You don’t need much, maybe a little more then a pea size just enough to hydrate your hair and give it some shine🌟 I like BIOSILK - Silk Therapy Original ogx - Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Extra Penetrating Hair Oil I’ve also noticed while using these products my hair has less knots and frizz ❤️ Don’t underestimate the power of a silk pillow case. At night you move around and your hair can get snagged and break with a cotton pillowcase, the silk allows your hair to slide off and is better for your skin too ❤️ OLIVE OIL is your new best friend you never knew you had. I soak my hair in olive oil once a month and it really helps with growth. (I made a separate post on this if you want to know more!) ❤️ Most important⚠️ PLEASE DO NOT color your hair with box dye!!! Ahhh this is so so bad for your hair. If you need a change please go see a hair stylist to talk about what’s best for YOUR hair needs, your hair will thank you! ❤️ Don’t forger to trim the dead ends. I know it sounds so simple and everyone knows this buts it’s so important for the health of your hair and makes your hair look healthier and helps your hair grow faster! ❤️ Don’t forget about hair masks!! There’s so many different brands and options for every hair type. One of my favorites Is the brand HASK. HASK - Keratin Protein Smoothing Deep Conditioner Packette the packs are so big that I can use half and get 2 uses out of it ❤️ What brush are you using?? I only use the Wet brush - Original Detangler because the bristles are so flexible they don’t rip my hair out while I’m brushing while detangling my hair with no problem and can be used on dry hair too not just wet!! I hope this helped! If you have any other good hair tips leave them in the comments below!

current morning skincare routine :)
Since my skin can be more sensitive, I just try to wash my face with water in the morning so I don’t over strip my face. If I do cleanse my face in the morning I will use CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser Next I go in with my serum from truly and I absolutely love it. It definitely makes my skin glow. I have been using the ordinary caffeine solution under my eyes for about 3 weeks now and I am not sure if I have seen any changes (positively or negatively). If anyone has a good eye cream or serum to help with dark circles PLEASE help a girl out I love the CeraVe moisturizer because it never makes my face feel greasy and it’s perfect for my sensitive skin. During winter months I usually switch out to use a heavier moisturizer though. Lastly I follow up with sunscreen or my Dr. Jart tiger grass color correcting treatment as a foundation (that includes SPF) Please let me know if the products I use are alright & if anyone knows of a better eye cream!!

Curology or Differin for persistent acne?
So I’ve had acne since I was 13 (I’m now 24). When you’ve dealt with an issue like acne for over a decade, you try a whooole lot of different products. These two are my top picks for persistent acne, and I’ll give you a spoiler: Curology comes out on top. Differin gel was previously available only by prescription. The active ingredient is .1% adapalene, a retinoid that works by speeding up cell turnover. Basically, it’s more difficult for pores to get clogged and develop into acne. The texture is a thin gel that absorbs very quickly. It does take some time to work, since it’s a retinoid—you really need to use it consistently for at least 12 weeks to see improvements, and your skin may purge. I used Differin gel for several years, and it cleared my acne to a far better degree than the products I had been using before (proactiv). On the other hand, Curology is a telemedicine service that matches you with a medical provider. You upload pictures of your skin, fill out a questionnaire, and you get prescribed a custom cream with three ingredients, some of which are prescription. Mine is 1% clindamycin, 9% azelaic acid, and .018% tretinoin. While Differin served me well for a good while, Curology has been helping my skin over the last year in a whole new way. I’ll be honest: it hasn’t been easy. My first Curology prescription completely cleared my skin—I’m talking clearest it’s been in a decade—and then my acne came back worse than ever. The bright side is, with Curology, you can contact your provider at any time and they can adjust your formula. I did that, and my provider also prescribed me two months of oral antibiotics to help my breakout clear up faster. They helped immensely, and I’m hopeful that my skin journey is headed in the right direction, though it takes time. Currently, Curology isn’t available in all 50 states, while Differin is. If you’re struggling with acne, my #1 recommendation is Curology because it’s customized to your skin needs and it can be adjusted over time. If Curology isn’t available to you, Differin is also a solid product with proven results. Differin is $30 for a tube that lasts about 3 months, and Curology is $20/month, which is more than worth it to me. Have you used either product? How has it worked for you?

DIY PLASTIC SURGERY✨
I love using makeup to enhance my natural features. There are so many tricks you can use to create illusions such as a slimmer nose and higher cheekbones. With this look, I used several makeup techniques to make it look as if I have altered my face with cosmetic procedures. Tips & Tricks: Slimmer nose: If I could have rhinoplasty I would, but for now I stick to contour & highlighting. First choose a cool undertone bronzer with no shimmer. I like to use the MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - O!Mega Bronzer Coconut Perfect Tan . Use a small blending brush to work the product down the sides of the bridge of the nose. I also like to contour under and above the tip of my nose. Lastly I apply highlighter down the center of my nose and the on the tip. ( I have a video post on how I do this) Larger lips: I always over line my lips to create the appearance of fuller lips. This can work with any shade liner but I usually opt for shades that are slightly darker than my natural lip color. My favorite liners are MAC - MAC Lip Pencil and NYX - Slim Lip Pencil . Overline the centers of both the upper and bottom lip. Do not overline the outter corners of the lips because it will look fake and overdone. Lastly, apply a little bit of gloss in the center of the lips to create a fuller appearance. Slimmer face: For a slimmer face, I use contour on the temples of my forehead, underneath my cheekbones, and to chisel the jawline. Applying highlighter can make the cheekbones appear higher. Also blush can have a similar affect as it highlights the apples of the cheeks. (I posted a video on how I contour my face previously) Lifted eyes: Lastly, to accentuate the eyes to appear as if they are lifted, I like to apply brown shadows to create a subtle wing. I continue with these shades in the inner corner of my eye to elongate the eye’s shape. Using false cat eyelashes also helps to create this appearance of “foxy” eyes. To really make it appear as if the eyes are lifted, I recommend wearing your hair either all the way up or half up so it pulls on the eyes to create a more snatched eye look.

The Importance of Texture Shots and Swatches 🌈
Showing texture shots and swatches is one of the key elements to a helpful & informative product review. Capturing the texture, consistency, and swatches of skincare and makeup items can help inform whether or not this product will be the right fit for people based on their skin type, skin tone, and all around preferences! Here are some tips on how to showcase the perfect product shot 😊 ✨ Show (and tell) what the texture or consistency of the product is through a nicely lit, close-up photo of the product itself. Make sure the photo is in focus! ✨ For makeup products, swatch it on your face or arm to show the true color compared to your skin tone. Explain to others what skin tone you have and why this shade does or doesn’t work for you! ✨Try a close up Loop to show off the application of the product! More on this to come 😉 Let us know in the comments below on how you like to take your product shots! 👇🏼👇🏼
