Scam Serum for Hair Growth 🌱
With the stress of the world and everything going on, I started noticing some major hair loss 😰 I was getting alarmed when chunks of hair would fall out in the shower and I decided to invest in some sort of hair growth product. I had my eye on the john masters organics - Deep Scalp Purifying Serum for a couple years now, but never felt a true need for it. However, this was the ideal time to give this product try and I have been loving it! The consistency is a cloudy gel-like substance. When applied to the scalp, it has a cooling effect; like putting peppermint on your scalp, but it’s not that intense. 😌 The smell is divine and it’s formulated with essential oils and no artificial fragrances. Wooo 🥳 Key Ingredients are: + Organic spearmint & peppermint oil to soothe and refresh the scalp + Meadowsweet extract - a natural astringent Both these ingredients help to clarify the scalp to allow for new hair to grow. My results haven’t been extremely dramatic, but I have been reaping a few benefits since adding this to my routine. So far I have noticed: less fallout, less itchiness, and less oiliness. No apparent hair growth but will wait a couple more months to see results. So for those of you dealing with oiliness, this would be an amazing product to try out. I have 3C curl type - it tends to create more frizz in my hair but nothing a bit of hair oil and extra conditioner can fix. The serum retails for $24 on the John master’s website, which is reasonable compared to a lot of other hair growth products. How I use it: + After washing, conditioning, and styling as normal, I take about 2-3 drops of this on my finger tips and gently massage it onto my scalp. I will sometimes follow up the next day with another amount, depending on how my hair and scalp are feeling. Have you tried any hair growth products before? How did you like them? ✨ #CheriePartner

Cherie Made Me Buy It: Glycolic Acid 🤩
This year I decided to start trying out AHAs to see if they would work on my sensitive skin type and to see what would be the best option for me. Like many people on this app, after reading up on multiple products, I decided to purchase The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution I heard many raving reviews regarding this (YouTube, Cherie, IG) and figured it must be amazing. Plus it only retails for about $9, so it’s not like i would be investing a lot of money up front. Unfortunately, this product and my face did not like each other 😆 I had no issues with the The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 5% + HA but it seems the formulation in the toner was a bit more sensitizing. My guess is the flower waters they use (Rosa Damascena Flower Water, Centaurea Cyanus Flower Water). I was a bit disappointed because I really wanted to love this, but i just didn’t work for me and would leave my face feeling super itchy. It didn’t have any string scents, but was sensitizing to my skin. 😕 However, as with a lot of products that don’t work for my face, I decided to repurpose this and I began using it on my underarms and for body exfoliation instead. The toner not only exfoliates my underarms, but it also helps with hyperpigmentation, and smell! Yep - you read that right. The acids from the toner help to balance out the pH of my underarms, causing them to smell less and act as a great primer before putting on my deodorant. -I start by putting some product on a cotton round and gently rubbing it on my underarms and any other area of my body that needs to be treated (body acne, dark spots, etc..) -After letting it dry down a bit, I swipe my #Pretty Frank - Zinc Deodorant (Unscented)[products]#[FiveStars] on both pits. With this combo, I get less irritation because neither product contains baking soda, and it truly keeps my B.O. at bay. The toner is more of a liquid consistency, so a putting it into a spray bottle can help with the application process as well. Have you all used this toner? What are your thoughts? #CheriePartner

Trending: Double Cleansing! 💕
✨Double cleansing is the system of using an oil based cleanser to break own an oil/sebum from the skin, including makeup and sunscreen, and then following it up with a water based cleanser to target your specific skin care needs. In the past, I would only use one cleanser (water based) to clean my skin but I was finding that my skin wasn’t feeling thoroughly cleansed at all. As I did more research, I found out that double cleansing is a major game changer in skincare, so I decided to give it a try! I initially started using theHONEST - Magic Gel-to-Milk Cleanser which is intended to be a normal cleanser but is way to oily to be used as just one cleanser. Its a great option for those looking for a gentle and soothing pre-cleanser that is oil based. However, recently I have been religiously using the comfort zone - comfort zone Essential Cleansing Milk to help remove my sunscreen and then I follow up with myFIRST AID BEAUTY - Pure Skin Face Cleanser to get a thorough cleanse. This process allows me to remove all the daily dirt & grime from my skin, and I am noticing brighter skin and less mask-ne! Wooo! I really do like the comfort zone - comfort zone Essential Cleansing Milk but I think I will be making the switch back to HONEST once my product is done. The texture of the cleaning milk is light, creamy, and feels like a thin lotion, which I love! 💕 However, it is highly fragranced and fragrances often irritate my skin. Since this product is a wash off and is only my face for 30-60 seconds at a time, I haven’t noticed too much sensitivity but I would prefer something a bit gentler. The smell isn’t over powering, but its is bit perfume-y, which can be a turn-off for a lot of people who are sensitive to scents. The price is okay, retailing for $32, but there are other products you can find for a third or half of the price. The HONEST cleansing milk, only cost me $15, so I’m saving $17 plus I can find it my local target and don’t have to worry about ordering online. Do you double cleanse? Have you thought about including it in your routine? #CheriePartner

How to fix smudged nails easily! 💅🏽
✨ Smudged nails are the worst! After spending all your time and coordination paint your nails, it is super frustrating to see them smudge. UGH! Here’s a quick tip on how to easily fix those smudged nails in under 1-minute! Depending on how had smudged your nail(s) is/are, take a small amount of nail polish remover and using just one finger, dip it into the remover and rub it over the nail. Repeat this step until most of the smudges are gone and reapply an extra coat of polish if needed. ✨ Tips on how to avoid smudges: + Make sure you’re not using too much polish! If your over-coating your nails, it will be harder and take longer to for your nails to fully dry down + Use a quick dry top coat: my current favorite is from essie - All in One 3 Way Glaze Base + Top Coat + Helps Strengthen This will allow your nails dry down in a fraction of the time it would typically take for your nails to dry. + Avoid doing too many activities that can cause smudging: washing dishes, cleaning, etc.. Im currently using a CVS brand nail polish remover, but much prefer acetone removers. This one I’m using is from CVS and is an easy drugstore pick-up! Halloween Nails 👻 🕸 A Step by Step Guide
🎃 Spooky season is among us and what better way to celebrate than with some spooky season nails! Products used: +SINFULCOLOR - SINFULCOLOR Professional Nail Polish in colors Black on Black & Snow Me White +essie - All in One 3 Way Glaze Base + Top Coat + Helps Strengthen +KISS - Maximum Speed Nail Glue + any nail gems! ✨ 1. Start by laying your base coat and letting that dry for a couple of minutes 2. Paint your first coat of black and let that dry before applying another layer - this will help you avoid streaks in your paint job 3. Take any thin paint brush, and using the white nail color, create a diagonal line across the middle of the nail, then another above that line, and one right below 4. Taking that’s same brush, create tiny loops between the lines and continue doing this until you have your web - you can absolutely stop here if you want to stop but I decided to add some extra razzle dazzle to my nails 5. Using a couple nail gems I had, I applied one gem at both corners of nail using the KISS - Maximum Speed Nail Glue 6. When everything has dried down, I secure it in with another coat of my essie - All in One 3 Way Glaze Base + Top Coat + Helps Strengthen These polishes are great for those on a budget, however the consistency was a bit thin. I had to use 2-3 coats to get the black very opaque. These polishes are not organic, and have similar formulation to other drugstore brands like Sally Hansen and OPI. If you are looking for polishes with a *cleaner* formulation, I would suggest Ella + Mila or Pacifica. Hope this helps! HAPPY HALLOWEEN! 🎃 #CheriePartner

Face Mask for Sensitive Skin 🧖🏻♀️
It’s sometimes hard to find face mask that are dedicated to sensitive skin. Most masks I’ve come across, are formulated to combat acne & exfoliation. This is why I was super excited to try out the FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Oatmeal Mask ! This mask is formulated with Colloidal Oatmeal and Avena Sativa Oat Bran with Botanical Antioxidants, all aimed at repairing and reviving your skin. After thoroughly washing my skin, I apply this onto my face and leave on for 10 mins. The consistency is creamy, thick, and has little oatmeal fragments in it. It is unscented, but because of the oatmeal and vanilla extract, there is a slightly “sweet” scent it gives off. After removing the mask, I follow up with my The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% or The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 , and then the HERBIVORE - Emerald CBD + Adaptogens Deep Moisture Glow Oil to help soothe any other irritation. This mask retails for about $25, which is fairly reasonable for a well-formulated and effective product. I have yet to find a mask that works the way this does, so for now, there is no other product I can truly compare this to. However, this will continue being a staple in my skin cabinet. Whats your favorite mask for sensitive skin? Would love to know your suggestions xoxo #CheriePartner

Best natural ingredient for all hair problems 💌Natural hair savior!
This dense, professional-strength conditioning hair mask is made with plant ingredients. It is designed to work as a salon treatment. It penetrates deeply into the hair shaft and firms it from the root to the tip, helping to make the hair firm, soft, shiny, and hydrated. The main ingredient is rahua (ungurahua), which is definitely a natural hair girl’s savior. Rahua Oil from the tree nut can strengthen fragile and damaged hair strands, nourish, and keep hair follicles and scalp healthy. And it can also push pigmentation deep into the hair shaft, thereby extending the color endurance. This is an excellent product! I have treated, and somewhat damaged and frizzy hair, so hair masks are a must-have treat for me. Works right away and leaves my hair soft, smooth, and manageable. It’s literally an excellent mask for your hair. It’s a great buy, no doubt, though it’s a little bit pricey!

dermatitis: what it is, types, and how to treat
Dermatitis is the general word referencing to skin inflammation (in Greek, derma- = skin; -itis = inflammation). Symptoms generally are very dry, itchy, red, and cracked skin. Sometimes also swelling and/or blisters can be present. Anyone who suffers from dermatitis knows how uncomfortable, sometimes painful, and self-conscious we become. I have eczema. Despite common symptoms, dermatitis can be subdivided into different types. Depending on the type, it can be flare-ups or long-term, severe or mild. The key is knowing which type of dermatitis you have and then figuring out and tackling the root of the problem. But before we move on, let’s clear up one common misconception: dermatitis of any form is NOT contagious! The cause of your dermatitis is usually related to the type of dermatitis you have. So, let’s go over the types and their causes. One of the most common types of dermatitis is atopic dermatitis, more commonly known as eczema. It can be caused by allergens, but it usually comes from a combination of things such as dry skin, the environment, and possible bacteria or germs as well. It is also often genetic, so, if you think you may have eczema and someone in your family has it too, there’s a good chance you have it as well. In my case, my mother has eczema. Eczema usually comes in waves and flares-up depending on certain triggers, like detergents used, fabrics (wool, for example), excessively dry skin, and even stress. Mine usually flares up during the fall and winter seasons and during periods where I am experiencing more stress. The best way to help control your eczema is to make some changes to your routine and, if your eczema is bad enough, get a prescription for a cream from your doctor. Minor routine changes include using a different type of soap (one that doesn’t leave a film on your skin- try bar soap), patting the area dry and then moisturizing while the skin is still damp, and of course, if you know trigger factors (such as stress), by controlling that. Your doctor might prescribe a thick greasy cream to apply a few times a day, and sometimes also a steroid to help control inflammation. I use my prescription cream after every shower and (luckily) haven’t had to use my steroid one that often. I only went to my doctor AFTER trying over the counter creams as well as little lifestyle changes. You might not even need to see your doctor if it clears up. Another common type of dermatitis is contact dermatitis. This occurs when your skin comes in contact with an irritant or allergen. An example that everyone knows is poison ivy. Other types of allergens might be nickel (often found in jewelry), fragrance and perfumes, and detergents and soaps. That’s why it’s so important to figure out what is causing the irritation! Once you know, you can cut it out of your life completely. Seborrheic dermatitis is also relatively common. This occurs when there is a fungus, specifically yeast, found in the oil glands on the skin (aka sebaceous glands, which secrete sebum- lil name reference there). The best way to treat this form of dermatitis is to use creams or ointments that control inflammation, and also anti-fungal creams if it’s severe enough. For example, dandruff shampoos are a good start, because dandruff is often a symptom of this type of dermatitis. If it gets so bad, you might need to see a doctor about getting a prescription for an antifungal (either topical or oral). Dyshidrotic eczema is another type. The skin cannot ‘protect’ as it should and therefore gets inflamed and creates blisters on parts of the body. Steroids, antihistamines, and draining the blisters are usually used in treatment. I don’t know too much about this type. Cradle cap and diaper rash are also two types of dermatitis, however, they’re (as the name suggests), only relevant to babies. So there you have the most common types of dermatitis! Dermatitis is very common and there’s nothing to be ashamed about! Once you figure out the cause, you can adjust accordingly and carry on with a more comfortable life. Please note, I am not a doctor (yet, hehe). This post was composed using personal experience, research I’ve done, and what I’ve been taught by other physicians. ------------------------ Thank you for giving my post a read! I am new to the platform and am excited to share my thoughts on topics I am passionate about.
Are you dealing with butt acne? Read this!
-Hi! Thanks for reading me in advance. ✨- Buttne is a shorthand for butt acne. Which is a very common and uncomfortable skin condition so don’t feel bad about it. 😋 In addition of giving you a very bad bump in your butt it is also very painful and itchy as well. Butt acne is not usually the common acne, is a folliculitis. What is a folliculitis? Well, is a mild infection of the hair follicle that leads to pus pimples or red bumps. This non regular pimple are caused by a combination of your follicles getting blocked and a bacterial infection. Sometimes the causes are very gross, or they can be a “wait, really!?” 😳 If you keep your wet sweaty clothes after you hit the gym, then expect buttne. If you spend long hours sitting down, then this friction and irritation will cause those follicles to get clogged. If your case is wearing undies past their time, which is gross, but totally expect Buttne with this. Do not wear tight-fitting clothes too much either! This traps sweat and oil against your skin, which... you know what can happen. Let’s say you have these, well there is not problem with it. We got the solution! 😗 I suggest you to try these at home options to help your peach look better. 🙊 Try a salicylic acid body wash. This will help you to unclogged those pores by exfoliating your skin. You can also try to target your butt with a benzoyl peroxide body wash. This is very effective to treat acne and folliculitis because of its antimicrobial ingredients. You can also bright up acne marks with glycolic acid. Try to moisturize your butt with a lactic acid lotion whenever you get the chance. Don’t feel scare, this won’t clog your pores. If you shave, try to shave the right way. Don’t go against the grain of your hair. If these solutions or any other don’t work. Then a consultation with a dermatologist will help you more. :) I useful tip is to leave the acne medication sit on your skin for 8-10 minutes. This way it can penetrate the skin before washing it off. Maybe put the product before you step on the shower, shampoo your hair, condition your hair, maybe shave, sing some songs. And then wash it off :) Some good products for Buttne: PanOxyl - Acne Foaming Wash Benzoyl Peroxide 10% Maximum Strength Neutrogena - Rapid Clear Stubborn Acne Cream Cleanser PETER THOMAS ROTH - Max Complexion Salicylic Acid Pore Refining Pads skinfix - Resurface+ Glycolic Renewing Scrub Amlactin - Daily Moisturizing Body Lotion I hope this little info helps you out! Let me know if you try them, and which one worked for you! :) There is not shame on having Buttne. I myself have experience this and is totally normal! Enjoy your day! 🥰

Ingredient Breakdown: Peptides
Collagen is a protein made up of amino acids, imparting bounce and firmness. But collagen can be broken down by free radicals (hello, oxidizing fragrance/volatile essential oil compounds), smoking, UV rays, and age. Age contributes to collagen loss also because your body makes less collagen peptides after some time in your 20s. Topical collagen-containing products don’t work, as collagen molecules are too big to pass through the epidermis. Instead, use peptides to help it act younger and make more collagen! Peptides (also made up of amino acids) are small enough to get to the dermis where collagen is made. In response, skin should start making more peptides to form more collagen. Copper peptides are considered particularly beneficial, though the main benefit over normal peptides is their wound healing capability, making them wonderful for those with acne, on top of their anti-aging benefit. DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream contains 9 varieties of peptides, including copper peptides, as well as a variety of amino acids, fatty acids, and humectants. I love this gel-cream, it’s wonderful as a multifaceted moisturizer that is light enough for oily skin and helps fight signs of aging. PAULA'S CHOICE - Peptide Booster contains 8 peptides, amino acids, fatty acids, and a variety of humectants. No copper peptides, instead incorporating a variety of antioxidants, helping to contribute to the calmness of skin and prevent free radical-induced breakdown of collagen. An amazing anti-aging serum with a texture that sits between creamy and silky, sinking in quickly and giving my skin quite a bit of plumpness. This would be the best of the bunch for a multifaceted anti-aging peptide product. The Ordinary - "Buffet" + Copper Peptides 1% contains seven peptides -one of which is a copper peptide- plus a variety of amino acids and hyaluronic acid. It’s a simple yet effective serum that is a bit tacky and smells of metal, but the results are worth it. Applying it to a scab/large acne lesion nightly speeds along its healing noticeably- plus I see less hyperpigmentation develop afterwards. I can’t recommend this enough as a budget-friendly entry into peptide serums!

How To Pick The Best Curly Hairstyles With Bangs？Look at this!
I'm a curly girl with bangs. Recently, most of my curly haired friends complain about how unmanageable their hair is. But on its good days, you can’t deny that you love your curls. We search day in and day out for the perfect hair accessory, only to miss one that’s been right in our face the entire time. Yes! I’m talking about bangs!!! Here I collected some pictures of curly bangs from pinterest to better show how to pick the best curly hairstyles with bangs. 👉For round face If you have a broad forehead, or a round face, then consider these bangs. Your bangs should be graphic, thick and fall just above the eyebrows. The curly bangs will make your face look slim and conceal the length of your forehead. 👉For Long Face If you have a long face, then short bangs are a no-no as they will enhance your forehead. Try long bangs that are either full center or side-swept, and I promise it will look amazing. 👉For Heart Shaped Face A heart-shaped face is the widest at the forehead and gradually narrows down to the chin. Side-swept bangs tapering on the same sides look amazing on heart-shaped faces. Consider feathered shaggy bangs as well. Wispy bangs look incredible on heart-shaped faces. 👉For Oval Face An oval face is angular at the jawline. If you have a pointed jawline, then you have a diamond face. The thing about an oval face is that all fringes look great on it. So, take your pick! It also depends on whether you have a high or short forehead. The way to check that is to see if your forehead is smaller than or bigger than your nose. 🌟Tips For How To Maintain Your Bangs Use a tried and tested shampoo and conditioner that you know works well for you. Don’t change shampoos in between. You can check with a hairstylist on which shampoo and conditioner to use. Trim your bangs regularly. Watch your bangs when you moisturize your face. Make sure you don’t get any cream on your hair. The ingredients you use to moisturize your face might not be suitable for your hair. Hope these tips helpful to you! Any curlies with bangs that might share your experience？Leave comments below!🥰
