Affordable Brow Gel!
L'ORÉAL - Brow Stylist Boost & Set Brow Mascara in Clear and in Dark Brunette Pros: Tiny brush head, easy to work with on many brow shapes and conditions. I use brow pencils. This has really been keeping my brows in place without smudging and transferring. Affordable with different color options, and in my opinion so much better texture than Glossier. - Boy Brow. Cons: Sometimes leaves a clump. I naturally have black hair so even the dark brunette one doesn’t add much color and volume to my brows on its own.
Glossier Boy Brow Worth It?! 👀 💜
Okay so brow gels are everywhere on the market... but frankly half of them don’t do their job! This product is honestly amazing! When I use this I always get compliments on my brows and I never have to fill them in. The pigment in this fill any gaps I have while keeping my brows well intact! Having to always order these online is kind of a pain.. but I would say it’s totally worth it! 😍

This Fenty Beauty Snap Shadow 🎨 is a 10/10
I’ve been loving greens a lot lately and have been on the lookout for an eyeshadow palette that reflects that. Honestly, I spent some time searching bc there aren’t that many options, especially in clean beauty 🤔 so even though Fenty Beauty isn’t clean, I support Rih Rih with all my heart and I don’t regret spending a cent on this FENTY BEAUTY - Snap Shadows Mix & Match Eyeshadow Palette in 10 - Money, which I got during the Sephora HOLIDAY FUN sale with the VIB discount 💃🏽 I like this palette because the tones are subtle and can easily be worn on a daily basis for the more “natural makeup head” very minimal fallout it includes a nice, brown shadow shade and bright golden shade on top of the green which is great for traveling with The only thing is I find that the light green shimmer (top middle) shade is best applied by finger or has to really be worked into the brush, but the colour pay off is great! Makeup for oily, acne-prone skin
Like a lot of people, my skin type is oily and acne-prone. This can make makeup difficult: in the past, I’ve used makeup that clogged my pores and made my acne worse, or makeup that reacted with the oil on my face and made my makeup look cakey. I also really like a dewy, glowy makeup look, which can be difficult when a lot of makeup for oily skin tries to suck the oil up to make skin look matte. Over time, I’ve been able to nail down a makeup look that works great for my skin type. First, make sure to use a good primer to keep makeup in place. I like FIRST AID BEAUTY - Hello FAB Pores Be Gone Matte Primer , which works great and doesn’t pill under makeup. Next, use a base product. As strange as it seems, I love the Kosas - Tinted Face Oil Foundation for my oily skin—it actually has kaolin clay in it to keep it from looking oily, so the finish I end up with is semi-matte. It’s perfect! I apply it with my fingers and it blends easily. Use a concealer if needed to cover and blemishes and/or undereyes. I love the Kosas - Revealer Super Creamy + Brightening Concealer because it has ingredients like arnica and peptides to visibly improve skin—it’s makeup and skincare rolled into one, and my oily/acne-prone skin loves it! Use a blush with beneficial ingredients for skin. I love the alleyoop - Stack the odds multi-use face palette because the cream products have jojoba and sunflower oils. Since I just apply the blush on the apples of my cheeks, it gives me a glow right where I want it, without making me look oily all over. I also use a cream highlight on my cheekbones: the one in the alleyoop palette is great, as is the BECCA - Skin Love Glow Glaze Stick . They both have skin nourishing ingredients that help keep my skin from being too dried out by acne products—because makeup doesn’t look good clinging to dry patches. Make sure to use a good powder to set foundation in your T-zone. I love the Milk MAKEUP - Blur + Set Matte Loose Setting Powder because it never looks cakey, even when I reapply—I took a star off for the packaging though, which can be inconvenient. A few more tips: I avoid cream products with coconut oil because they make me break out, and I wash my makeup brushes at least once a week because dirty brushes can spread bacteria and make acne worse. If anyone else has tips for this skin type, please let me know in the comments! #CheriePartner

GRWM ft. westman atelier + ilia
I wanted to show you guys a quick, natural GRWM. I used WESTMAN ATELIER - Vital Skin Foundation Stick Atelier (for skin with undertones) for my foundation + concealer. these foundation sticks are the most beautiful, natural base I’ve ever used. they dry down to a satin finish and hardly feel like anything on your skin. I used WESTMAN ATELIER - Baby Cheeks Blush Stick for my blush, which is SUPER pigmented, but blends down to the world’s prettiest and most subtle flush ever. I feel like it just makes me look a little more awake without looking harsh. SHISEIDO - Shiseido Eyelash Curler is my tried and true HOLY GRAIL. can never be without it. LANCÔME - Monsieur Big Waterproof Mascara one of my favorite formulas for mascara ever. holds my (very) straight lashes’ artificial curl all day! ILIA - Balmy Gloss Tinted Lip Oil ilia’s new glossy balms are what dreams are made of! feel like an oil, with the color of a lipstick. full of hyaluronic acid, my lips actually feel healthier after wearing this makeup. what do you guys think? this is a super natural base for me, I usually prefer full coverage products, but these are really nice for my more casual days.

NYX- Bright Idea in CoaraliciousNYX - Bright Idea Illuminating Stick Smashbox- LA LIGHTS in Beverly Hills Blushsmashbox - L.A Lights Lip & Cheek Color Glossier- Haloscope in TopazGlossier. - Haloscope Dew Effect Highlighter I don’t even remember when it started happening but I have always been obsessed with laying and blending things to get the perfect tonality that I like for myself but I also do this with my clients models and actors as well. I start with my cream bronzy highlight, (Glossier Haloscope in Topaz). I swipe that on my cheek or I use a small “ glow brush’ to apply it to my face in circular motions until its blended in with the skin. I also like to apply this to my eye lids as a good base for whatever neutral/natural eye look I am doing that day. Then I go in with the more subtle blush color, ( Smashbox LA Lights in BH blush) and focus on my cheeks and tip of my nose. Again blending it in circular motions so it just melts into the skin. Last I go in with my brightest blush color (NYX Bright Idea in Coralicious) to further accentuate the apples of my cheek. This method always leaves such a natural and healthy glow, I feel like I can wear this with any eye or lip look because its just the right amount of color and glow in my cheekies and who doesn’t love that?

Soap Brows! “Feathered” brow tutorial!
I use Pears EST.1807 - Pure & Gentle Soap With Natural Oils to make my brow hairs stand up. Use a setting spray URBAN DECAY - All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray to wet the soap (I think this aids in helping the hairs stay put). I brush up on the brows, let it dry down completely! Then add product to the brows to make the shape and fill in what needs to be filled in. ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Brow Wiz Mechanical Brow Pencil Sometimes I finish with Glossier. - Boy Brow to ensure the hairs stay put. Hope you liked the tutorial!!! P.S. hubby is gaming in the back if you hear random outbursts 😅😂🙈

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.14 HOURS AGO
