I found this gem in T.J.Maxx. I love facial sprays and this one gives my skin a glow and has a scent of roseHERITAGE STORE - Rosewater & Glycerin Atomizer
Hello, so I been struggling with my skin for years. I’m 29 now & it hasn’t seemed to get any better. I use to think the tiniest pimples or marks were a problem but my skin kept getting worse. These pix are a week apart & the top is today. Last October my skin hit a low & I decided to cut dairy. It helped, then my skin got bad again & I cut out meat. It helped for a little again. I tried so much products. I was on Zo skincare & helped but it’s too expensive to continue so I’m in the process of devolving my own affordable skin routine. A month ago I started the pill (birth control) & right before that my skin was going crazy, I think because I was trying new products. I think my skin is purging from products and the pill? I’ll post my now routine any suggestions will help but I think I’m on the right path finally 🤞🏼 The app has helped me a lot. PanOxyl - Acne Foaming Wash Benzoyl Peroxide 10% Maximum Strength for wash OLE HENRIKSEN - Glow2OH Dark Spot Toner I use this toner HERITAGE STORE - Rosewater & Glycerin Atomizerthen spray this & I’m about to start sugergoop everyday spf 50 lotion. Sensitive Acne Prone Routine
Hi there! I have superrrrr sensitive skin that breaks out to everything so I’m here to help out anyone else’s face that hates them too. I have three different night routines that I do in order to not pile on a bunch of products in one day. Am 🦐 splash face with water 🦐 CeraVe - Ultra-Light Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 For Normal To Oily Skin 🦐 Neutrogena - On-the-Spot Acne Treatment I don’t use a cleanser in the morning, with my sensitive skin, washing it twice makes it too overly irritated. Instead, I wash it with water and follow with a gentle skin moisturizer/SPF, and spot treatment as needed. Pm A - Acne-fighting 🦖 CeraVe - SA Smoothing Cleanser 🦖 The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% 🦖 DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel 🦖 CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin The SA cleanser is very gentle and effective for diminishing breakouts, and doesn’t strip the skin of its natural barrier. This is super important if you are using treatments, as too many can be damaging. I follow up with a water-based serum (niacinamide) that targets oil production, acne, hyperpigmentation, and dark spots. Then finish with an acne treatment and moisturizer. Pm B - Calm routine 🪐 BURT’S BEES - Face Cleanser for Sensitive Skin 🪐 The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% 🪐DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel 🪐 CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin I have a “calm” routine to take a break from other treatments I do during the week. My skin gets really irritated if it’s bombarded with a ton of products so I use this night as a breather for my skin. Typically that means the differin gel as well as niacinamide and moisturizer. Pm C - Brightening routine 🍌 pūrlisse - Watermelon + Charcoal Purifying Cleanser 🍌 The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution 🍌 LUÉ by Jean Seo - BALANCE 🍌DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel 🍌 CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin This one is my favorite! The watermelon cleanser is my favorite thing I’ve put on my face. It’s gentle, brightens, and doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight or dull. It makes my skin glowy and supple and I’m close to dying for it. Glycolic acid is a chemical exfoliant that brightens, smooths skin texture, and uneven tone, as well as working as an acne fighter!! It’s greta if your skin can tolerate it. If not, I’d go with The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA. Next, I like to put in a calming serum for hydration and letting my skin calm the f*** down from the exfoliant. Then typical moisturizer and differin gel. I hope this helped for those of you that are looking to treat your face without pissing it off! Good luck to all you SSPs!
My skin improves when I don’t wash it??
Hi there! I’ve been into skincare pretty heavily in the last year. Ive struggled with hormonal and cystic acne since I was 4 (there’s pictures I swear!). While 2 rounds of accutane, age, and a hundred different regimens have made my skin a lot better today, I still get acne. I’ve experimented with serums, exfoliants, toners, cleansers, and the whole shebang and I thought I was doing it right. My routine: CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin PM The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution every other PM BURT’S BEES - Natural Acne Solutions Clarifying Toner AM/PM The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% PM LUÉ by Jean Seo - BALANCE AM The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution once a week/two weeks CeraVe - Resurfacing Retinol Serum PM pūrlisse - Watermelon + Charcoal Purifying Cleanser AM MARIO BADESCU - Vitamin C Serum AM When I was away from home, I didn’t wash it at all except with makeup wipes and my skin cleared up!Its also stayed clear for almost 2 weeks now and I haven’t had skin this clear in 3 years! I have sensitive normal skin with an oily T-zone. Should I keep not washing my face?
LUXURY SKINCARE TEXTURES ✨✨✨
pretty luxury essence, serum and cream texture ✨from Armani Beauty and Cle de Peau. I love all 3 of these but will not be repurchasing due to price. If you have the $$ tho they’re great! *PSA I like skincare with fragrance. My skin isn’t sensitive to it and never has been. Don’t hate! I’m sick of seeing people on here freaking out about Fenty Skin and the fact it has fragrance 🙄 not everyone has sensitive skin. ARMANI beauty - Crema Nera Acqua Pantelleria Serum-Lotion is silky and feels like a serum, it has grapefruit and vitamin e and leaves my skin baby soft before applying other serums and creams ARMANI beauty - 'Prima' Smart Moisture Serum has hyaluronic acid, hydrates and plumps my skin. Is fragranced but doesn’t bother me clé de peau BEAUTÉ - Intensive Fortifying Cream is so luxury lol I love it, it feels like a pillow on the skin and is so effective at moisturizing and softening the skin. Really love it but not repurchasing bc I have other creams that I am really enjoying that are like half the price
Oil Control Skincare
While my skin is generally on the dry side of "normal", my t-zone can get decently oily during the summer, so I make sure to have mattifying (but non-drying) products in my routine: ▪️ I don't use any cleansers or toners to prevent oil, as most I've tried are stripping (which just causes the skin to produce extra oil), but the Tatcha satin skin mist contains clay that absorbs oil gently- I hope they make a mini of it soon because I always have it with me! ▪️ going off that, I make sure my skin doesn't end up dehydrated from the heat or air conditioning by applying light layers of moisture in my routine. Recently I've used the Jurlique rose moisture plus serum or Volition snow mushroom water serum daily and my skin has been pretty happy ▪️ made an exception from avoiding "oil-control" items when I tried the belif hydra sebum control essence since I've yet to meet a belif product I didn't love, and sure enough it keeps excess oil at bay while still being hydrating ▪️ when it comes to moisturizer, I've found that a light gel cream like the Youth to the People superfood moisture cream under a bit of the caudalie vinopure mattifying fluid keeps my skin balanced during the day, though the new Erno Laszlo hydra therapy gel cream has also worked really well recently ▪️ supergoop makes most of my favorite sun protection products, and the mineral matte screen provides both SPF 40 coverage and a smooth base ▪️ on the rare occasion I do use a primer under my skin tint/bb cream, I turn to the heir atelier demi-matte primer Jurlique - Rose Moisture Plus Daily Moisture Balancing Serum ERNO LASZLO - Hydra-Therapy Gel Cream CAUDALIE - Vinopure Natural Oil Control Moisturizer TATCHA - The Satin Skin Mist belif - Hydra Sebum Control Essence VOLITION - Snow Mushroom Water Serum Supergoop! - 100% Mineral Smooth & Poreless Matte Screen SPF 40 REED CLARKE - Heir Atelier Eye Primer

$65 SERUM = WORTH IT?
alright, let me start by saying that in no way can i freaking afford to blow 65 smackeroonis on this. i received it in my allure beauty box for the month of june and literally, already finished the bottle 😩 the texture of this serum is so unique. it contains little microbeads of: hyaluronic acid: water magnet for hydration chlorella extract: for clearer, brighter, & firmer skin vitamin a: anti-aging 👉🏻 MY EXPERIENCE: $65 seems a bit much for this serum. it claimed to give a noticeable different after one use & personally, i feel like i was reaching for anytime i suspected i had a “glow.” BUT i loved the way my skin felt throughout the day whenever i used it. it definitely felt softer & my skin never felt nor looked dull. this doesn’t necessarily mean that i had a glow, i just didn’t look tired. i could still achieve a glow if i used this with other products like the GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow PHA+BHA Pore-Tight Toner . (be mindful, glow recipe did some shady stuff when releasing their stats on pull up for change. i DO NOT currently support glow recipe & thus, will be planning to give this toner away. i just wanted to mention every detail of my routine). 👉🏻 WOULD I REPURCHASE? no. i didn’t even purchase the first time but no. my favorite serums are good molecules’ GOOD MOLECULES - Super Peptide Serum & GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Serum . cheaper alternatives that actually work AMAZING for your skin. overall, great serum & innovative idea. the beads blend magically with the serum once applied & it smells like nothing. i wouldn’t spend the $65 price tag tho 🤮

The Perfect Trio!
It has been two weeks since I have incorporated Paul's Choice into my routine and I think that it is time that I give you guys an honest review on the products that I have been using! I found Paul's Choice on Cherie. I feel in love with everyone positive review and I knew I needed to get my hands on their products. PAULA'S CHOICE - Niacinamide 20% Treatment : I LOVE this product! When I learned that Paul's Choice had a 20% version, I was instantly sold. When I first started using this product 2 weeks ago, I was experiencing some cystic acne on my chin. I though to myself there is no way that this product is going to help heal this! I am glad to say that I was wrong! This product helped to clear my cystic acne and I have expereinced minimized pores on my nose and chin! This product has reduced my sebum production and I am experiencing less pimples and I am not an oil slick all the time! PAULA'S CHOICE - 1% Retinol Treatment with Peptides + Vitamin C : This is another amazing product that I love from this brand. I love that Paul's Choice retinol is a light lotion and not a serum. It sinks into my skin beautifully in comparison to a serum! Since using this product I have noticed visibly refined pores. PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Azelaic Acid Booster : This is another product that I could not pass up from buying! I love that this product is lightweight and non-greasy. I actually mix this product into my moisturizer and then apply it to my face and neck. So far I have seen a reduction in the appearance of blemishes that I have on my face and fading of some post-breakout marks! PAULA'S CHOICE - Resist Anti-Aging Eye Gel This product is not pictured because i returned it. I am giving this product a 2 star rating because my skin reacted to this product. Upon application it was cooling to my under eyes and then it burned very badly. I first use the product during my nightly routine and the burning did not stop until the next night even after washing the product off of my under eye. I am disappointed that my skin reacted to this product because I was excited to incorporate an eye cream into my routine. I experience dark circles and fine lines under my eyes. I was hoping this eye cream would correct this! I hope to find an eye cream that my skin is compatible with soon. I feel that these three products so far have contribute to my skin clearing up! I have been in an endless cycle of buying so many products that have not worked for my skin. I am glad that I did not give up because if I did I would not have found Paul's Choice! I would recommend these products to anyone who are looking to target minimization of pores, and reduction of blemish appearances!
Paula’s Choice Cult Favorites
A few days ago, I received a package that I have been anticipating for a while now, Paula’s Choice! I have been looking into switch around many products in my skincare routine, and when I found Paula’s choice I immediately feel in love with the products and the reviews. I knew I had to get my hands on them. At first, I was skeptical about what sizes to purchase. I was afraid that I bought full sizes of all of the products on my list I wouldn’t like them. So for a majority of the products I bought travel sizes, with an exception to two full size products. Full size products: PAULA'S CHOICE - Niacinamide 20% Treatment PAULA'S CHOICE - Daily Pore-Refining Treatment with 2% BHA Travel Size Products PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator PAULA'S CHOICE - Pore Normalizing Cleanser PAULA'S CHOICE - 1% Retinol Treatment with Peptides + Vitamin C PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Azelaic Acid Booster I’ll admit when I originally purchased these products, I was being cheap and the travel sizes looked a little bit more bigger online than in person. I personally contacted Paul’s Choice to ask for an estimation for how long the travel size products would last. I was told that travel sizes last one week. I decided to return all of my travel sizes and get full sizes. I wanted to be able to give myself and my followers proper usage and review of these products. I may repurchase the travel sizes when I go on vacation. Stay turned for full size first impressions and in-depth product details in the next few days!

KEEPCOOL - Keep Cool And Soothe Toner & Keep Cool And Soothe Serum. Both of these products are made with Bamboo Water which is high in minerals and amino acids, great at hydrating and calming the skin. 💛The Toner is a lovely water consistency, perfect for a couple of super hydrating layers in warmer weather. Also contains a TONNE of great hydrators including my FAVE RN Polyglutamic Acid. 🙌🏻 Which if you didn’t know already actually is 3 times more hydrating then Hyaluronic Acid!!! 💛The serum is another level good... this is a great all-rounder product which will hydrate, calm, soothe and heal. It’s been great used alongside my Tretinoin. With the key ingredient centella asiatica extract also know as Tiger Grass which helps to calm redness and irritation and repair the skin barrier. I love both of these product and reach for them often! they’re also perfect for ALL skin types...
Skincare for redness
I got this awhile back and as you can see it’s already empty. The azulene serum is calming and one of the benefits is that it helps with redness. I struggle with redness and this helped so much with that . It’s consistency is more water like without being sticky . I like this stuff a lot and I would definitely recommend if you struggle with redness. The product is definitely worth it for me . Bellflower - Coconut Hydrating Serum 50ml I had to tag the coconut one since azulene isn’t on here but they are both great . #skincareforredness #skincare #serum
Bellflower-Coconut Hydrating Serum 50ml
I wanted to share some thoughts on some products that I’ve REALLY been loving from two of my favorite brands, drjart & paulaschoice! 🥰 ____ the amazing team at DrJart revamped their Cicapair line which encompasses the power of Tiger Grass (or Centella Asiatica) that calms sensitive skin, reduces redness, and soothes irritation! I’m a huge fan of the cream, as well as the gel formulation! The Calming Mist is so fine, and delivers an instant soothing sensation that I love to use as a toner after cleansing. The Tiger Grass Serum is formulated with their proprietary micro biome complex , Jartbiome, which soothes and repairs damaged skin while strengthening its’ defenses against stressors. What I love the most about this serum is seriously the packaging… The pump works flawlessly, delivering the perfect amount of product as you twist it open and refilling as you twist it to close! I HIGHLY recommend this line, and I know I will be using it even more when the colder, harsh weather approaches. ❄️ ____ I’ve also been obsessed with the DEFENSE line by PaulasChoice and have already professed my love for the Antioxidant Pore Purifier! This is my second tube so the hype is REAL, and I’ll always be repurchasing this gem thanks to its’ powerful blend of antioxidants, salicylic acid, and more! The Triple Algae Pollution Shield which strengthens and repairs the skin’s barrier with powerful plant and vitamin derived antioxidants to defend from aging and environmental aggressors! I use this product only in the mornings, and after the Pore Purifier, and follow it up with my moisturizer & then SPF! For people who life in heavily polluted cities like Houston.. This is perfect for you! I very highly recommend this line! 🙌🏽

Simple AM Skincare Routine for Sensitive Skin
I like to keep my skincare pretty simple in the morning because a) I enjoy sleeping more than I enjoy getting up + ready for the day and b) my skin is super sensitive and doesn’t love or appreciate a 10 step routine. My skin type these days is sensitive/normal I’d say...I used to consider myself oily or combination but that was when I didn’t know anything about skincare and used harsh products to strip my skin and didn’t use moisturizer of any kind because I was “too oily”🙃 My skin is highly reactive and is almost always some shade of red.. I also have some rosacea in my cheeks. I do get hormonal breakouts on my chin occasionally before my period but have never overly struggled with breakouts. These are the steps I usually take in the AM: 1️⃣ Grab a coffee.. today happens to be Saturday so my fiancé got us Tim Hortons (classic Canadian weekend behaviour) 2️⃣ First, I cleanse my skin using a toner or micellar water and a reusable cotton round, I’ve been loving this BABOR - Cleansing Rose Toning Essence lately. I don’t wash my face in the morning because I find it too stripping and personally my skin just doesn’t need it...you do you though! 3️⃣ Then I apply my vitamin c, this SKINCEUTICALS - Serum 10 Aox+ is amaaaazing for sensitive skin. I’ve never noticed as much of a change in my skin as far as brightening and clearing effects as I have with this serum. 4️⃣ Next, I apply my moisturizer and this BEAUTYBIO - The Quench Quadralipid Rapid Recovery Facial Moisturizer is unbelievable for my skin. It is so hydrating and soothing and makes my skin feel like velvet. I looove applying this stuff! 5️⃣ Lastly, I apply my eye cream. Typically I use one of two from Caudalie, this CAUDALIE - Premier Cru Anti-Aging Eye Cream is usually the one I use in the morning. It’s super hydrating without being heavy and wears nicely under makeup. Sometimes, I’ll finish off my routine with a mist of some sort because I am OBSESSED with mists, but today I didn’t. I’ll also add a serum in here and there for some extra hydration or if I’m targeting anything specific. ALSO I added my SKINCEUTICALS - Physical Fusion Uv Defense SPF 50 after, completely forgot about it while filming - it’s the best! And that’s my morning routine...thanks for watching! #CheriePartner

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
