My favourite eyeshadows
Here are three of my favourite eyeshadow products that I would like to recommend: 1.M.A.C Eye Shadow - Fashion’s Field Day This is a single pressed eyeshadow from M.A.C. I like this one because the colour is so special. Basically, it’s a beautiful pinky coral shade eyeshadow with a pearly finish, but it has a fine golden shimmer that creates a kind of frost eyeshadow look. It’s not that strong reflective and iridescent shimmer so it can still be very natural for day-to-day use. The texture is a little bit dry but acceptable and the pigmentation is good. It applies evenly on my eyelid and blends very well. 2.COLOURPOP Super Shock Shadow Ultra-Glitter - DGAF I would highly recommend this single eyeshadow if you are looking for a shimmer eyeshadow with glitters. I really love this unique bouncy texture of COLOURPOP. It’s so creamy, so soft and so smooth. Only one swipe is needed to deliver an intense pigmentation. The best tool to apply this eyeshadow is your fingers. And this shade DGAF is the best seller. It has warm-toned brown shade and with many golden glitters to create a multi-dimensional look. 3.CHANEL Multi-effect Quadra Eyeshadow - 268 This is my favourite eyeshadow palette of my whole collection. This palette has four shades that contain three shades of brown and a beautiful warm red shade, and all four shades are matte. The colour combination is exactly for a fall makeup look, and the warm red shade recalls me maple leaves. The texture is not that dry as many other matte eyeshadows especially the red one. The colour is buildable and well-blended on my eyelids.

ten minute makeup! ⏰
hello everyone! today i am showing you this ten minute makeup look! its not too natural, but its natural enough to be able to wear anywhere☺️ lts also very easy to do! dont forget to follow and cheer for more😇 i personally have very oily and acne prone skin, and also very pale skin, so that can make it pretty hard to find a good foundation. my main concern is coverage and resistance to oil. my main goal with all of my makeup looks though is to highlight my eyes, as they are my favorite part of my face😄 so, i started with an oil-control primer, COVERGIRL - TruBlend Face Primer . they make different types of this primer, and i bought the mattifying one. one way to save time in your makeup rountine is to get a fast drying primer like this one! after that, i use a pretty decent amount of my all time favorite foundation, Juvia's PLACE - I am Magic Velvety Matte Foundation in the shade alexandria. this foundation is amazing! it has a semi matte, velvet finish, and is very high coverage. it lasts all day and comes in 40 different shades! next, i go in with my e.l.f. - 16HR Camo Concealer in the shade light peach. i put this under my eyes, and on my lid. i dont usually have to conceal any zits, as my foundation does that for me! i set all of this with my e.l.f. - Perfect Finish HD Powder , which helps control oil throughout the day. i then move onto the eyes. for this look i used a single shade from the COLOURPOP - COLOURPOP X Mulan Eyeshadow Palette called “imperial” above my crease and under the eye. i topped off my lid with a COLOURPOP - Colourpop Super Shock Shadow called “frog” to add dimension to my eyes. after that, i finished off with mascara. because my eyelashes are one of my favorite features, i never, NEVER, forget mascara. it makes my eyes pop! for this i use my favorite mascara, L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Original Mascara and i apply a few coats. i finished with a new favorite, COLOURPOP - Crème Lux Lipstick Hua Mulan . this lipstick is AMAZING! it has a lot of pigment, and its not too orange or too brown. its also not too dark but not too light. you know what i mean?😂 not only is the color very nice, but its extremely creamy. it feels moisturizing, not drying, even though its semi-matte. it also lasts for a long time too! 👄 and thats it!! this took me about ten minutes, and basically i just focused on making myself presentable😂lemme know your quick makeup rountine in the comments! #CheriePartner
My Makeup Journey - 1st satisfying full glam
I've been on a makeup journey for the past few months and I've been peaking in the last 2 weeks. I've become obsessed watching JuicyJas videos and buying lots of makeup! Some makeup was given to me from friends' ipsy bags, bought as Sephora with help from an associate (very beginning of journey) and a bulk was bought from Ulta, Walmart and Target based on reviews by JuicyJas and my own curiosity. This is my first really good, satisfying full glam look. I've had huge trouble with acne from one particular break out induced by stress about a month ago which really kickstarted my makeup experimentation. I used to wear barely anything but this breakout was super distracting and embarrassing as I am a scab picker and cannot leave things alone. My face has big red spots from picked scabs and dark scars. I have been doing this all my life and know they will go away and fade eventually. The skin finally almost healed. This whole look took about two hours which included my skin care routine, letting moisturizers and primers set, and washing sponges and cleaning brushes. As you can see I used a huge amount of products. They worked well to cover my acne and it was my first time doing a pink eyeshadow look. I loved it!! I only use a small amount of NARS foundation because it's pretty heavy which I don't like much but I do love adding a small amount over my troubled areas over my Maybelline foundation. I also used e.l.f. eyeliner tape to do the wing for the first time. It worked so well! I have been doing winged eyeliner for years and I'm still not very good at it so I was so happy to find out this product existed. I can do winged eyeliner but it takes much longer to get it just right without the tape. I'm excited for when I better at doing makeup and have less acne to cover up so I don't have to spend so much time getting ready but still get the same results. I am a very expressive person and would love to do full glam everyday! I love coordinating my eyes and lips with my outfits. I went to the movies with this look and wore a pastel pink beanie and pastel pink sneakers to match it. My next project is figuring out how to do my eyebrows!
Chanel Eyeshadow & Blush Swatches
I got 3 shades on CHANEL - LES 4 OMBRES Multi-Effect Quadra Eyeshadowand 2 blushes -CHANEL - JOUES CONTRASTE Powder Blushand Chanel Duo No. 02 Les Beiges Healthy Glow Multi-Colour. Here is my review: CHANEL TISSÉ CAMÉILIA (202)-Pic.2 The four shades in this eyeshadow palette are pink-brown with delicate shimmers. I don't like this palette that much because its color payoff and blending are not great. Blending: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Practicality: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Color payoff: ⭐️⭐️ CHANEL CANDEUR ET EXPÉRIENCE (268)-Pic.3 This is a very practical palette and its four matte shades match beautifully with each other. The pop of the warm red shade is very beautiful, blends well and offers high color payoff. Blending：⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Practicality：⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Color payoff：⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ CHANEL ROAD MOVIE (288)-Pic.4 This is my favorite palette. The color matching is great and so is the color payoff. It's a pity that the shade on the bottom right is less pigmented. Blending：⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Practicality：⭐️⭐️⭐️ Color payoff：⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ CHANEL ROUGE PROFOND (320) -Pic.6 The shade in this palette is very stunning, highly pigmented and blends well. The powder sticks easily to the brush, so be careful when you're applying powder to your brush and apply it little by little. Blending：⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Practicality：⭐️⭐️⭐️ Color payoff：⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ DUO N°2 -Pic.7 You can see the delicate shimmer with your bare eyes, but it won't show in pictures. It doesn't have great color payoff so you'll need to apply highlights and blush repeatedly with your fingers. This palette is very suitable for beginners. Blending：⭐️⭐️⭐️ Practicality：⭐️⭐️⭐️ Color payoff：⭐️
“No Makeup” Look
Loving this natural, glowy, “no-makeup” look. Perfect for the weekend! CHANEL - ROUGE COCO FLASH Shade: 56 Moment The formula is that of a balm and very comfortable. Provides a sheer splash of color to the lips, perfect to apply without a mirror. CHANEL - Les Beiges Water-Fresh Tint Shade: Medium Light Provides barely there coverage - which is what I am loving lately! This is one of my favorite base products to use... so it’s always somewhere in the mix! CHANEL - LES 4 OMBRES Multi-Effect Quadra Eyeshadow Shade: 266 Tissé Essentiel Very basic palette, but I love the neutral tones in this palette which creates a very subtle smokey-eye. Provides subtle definition. Perfect for the daytime. This is a very powdery palette though, wish the shadows were slightly more creamy. Kosas - Revealer Super Creamy + Brightening Concealer Shade: 3.5 Color tends to run on the more yellow side, I should have gotten shade 2 or 3 to brighten the under eye area. Overall though, I do like the formula. Very creamy and easy to blend. rms beauty - "Un" Powder This gets the job done, not the best out there. But, there is no talc in this formula! rms beauty - Luminizer X Quad Highlighter Palette I love color variety and travel size products - so extra brownie points since this quad allows me to play with shades that I otherwise would pass up on. This provides the subtle lit from within glow. Although, some of the shades you really do need to build up. Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color Shade: Dusk Can’t say enough good things about cloud paint. Love how easy it is to just pat into the face for a subtle flush of color. ILIA - Limitless Lash Mascara Shade: After Midnight I have very short and straight lashes. This mascara makes them look so long! I have thrown out all my other mascaras and am only using this one! benefit - Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Eyebrow Gel Shade: 4.5 Another one of those that always appear in my posts in terms of brow products!

Old Hollywood Vintage Makeup 🎞 📽🖤
Hey Cherie Sisters! Happy Friday Eve! ⚠️ First of all, I just want to say that I DO NOT condone smoking at all ⛔️ 🚬 🚫 ⚠️ I just used it as a prop because cigarettes are always seen in old Hollywood films and I wanted to add an extra oomph to the theme. 😜 I looked at “60s makeup” for inspiration. The 60s eye makeup emphasized the crease with dramatic winged liner and huge eyelashes. They stuck to neutral colors on the eyes and pair it with a peach or light pink lips. The beauty mark that Marilyn Monroe had was also popular. I used my MAC eyeshadows for this look because was feeling nostalgic. MAC eyeshadows were my favorite. I remember that I only bought MAC eyeshadows and used them religiously. Using them again reminded me of how pristine MAC eyeshadows are. They were so pigmented, easy to work with and blended beautifully. I seriously fell in love all over again. To achieve this look, I used: 1) MAC Embark which is an intense reddish-brown shade to define the crease. I used a smudger brush (Morphe M508) 2) I stamped MAC Soft Brown on top of Embark for that transition look. 3) Using my Wayne Goss 20 brush, I blended both colors together 4) I cut my crease using Tarte Shape tape then applied MAC Dazzlelight and Nylon on the lids 5) I used an angled eyeliner brush and a gel liner to draw a dramatic wing. I would suggest gel liner over liquid for more precision and drama 6) I applied MAC Soft Brown and Embark on the lower lash. 7) Use a white eyeliner to tight line. I used Colourpop Creme Gel Liner in Exit then use MAC Gesso (matte white eyeshadow) to intensify 8) Emphasize those lashes with falsies! I used House of Lashes in the style Bouidoir Lite 9) Apply lots of mascara on the bottom lash. Use falsies for bottom lashes to emphasize the look however, this step is optional 10) Channel your inner Marilyn Monroe and add that beauty marked. 11) For lips, I used KVD Vegan Beauty Liquid Lipstick in Lovecraft then topped it with Marc Jacobs Enamored Gloss in the shade Rah Rah!. A bold red lip would work too! 12) Enjoy! I hope you recreate this look and would love to see your finished look! 🤞 What is your favorite makeup era? Francesca 💋 #CheriePartner
5 min eye look to make your eyes pop!
Bring out your eye color and make your eyes the center of attention with two products! My eyes are my favorite feature and I love to make them pop even more and make them the focus of my makeup look. I have light brown eyes with a bit of a hazel in them (thx mom and dad) and pairing the correct eyeshadow color can really make them pop! WHAT I USE: A burnt brown shadow. Something orange/red based to bring the green out in my eyes. My go to is Brownscript from MAC. I take a fluffy blending brush and blend the shadow all over my lid. Very simple and quick. MAC - MAC Matte Eyeshadow To further make eyes pop and make my eyes appear bigger, I take a white or nude color eyeliner and line my bottom water line. This instantly draws even more attention to my eyes. If you want a more dramatic look then stick with the white, but to keep it more subtle stick with a nude color liner. I like to use the fenty pencil eyeliner. FENTY BEAUTY - Flypencil Longwear Pencil Eyeliner What if you don’t have brown eyes? Blue eyes - orange based browns and orange shadows! Green eyes - red tone shadows! Hazel eyes - red based browns! #cheriecreator
Is Colorpop REALLY a Perfect Dupe for Urban Decay?
I used to buy COLOURPOP - Colourpop Super Shock Shadow when I was a student, which is said to be a affordable dupe for Urban Decay's Space Cowboy. And since I started working, I've been using URBAN DECAY - URBAN DECAY Single Eyeshadow. Let's compare these two brands of eyeshadows today. ⚡In terms of their powder quality, UD's Cowboy is very delicate and smooth and can be applied with a brush. Ritz's powder is relatively coarser and you can feel the shimmers in it when applying it. Both powders won't fly everywhere if you set your makeup properly. ⚡In terms of the shade, Cowboy is lighter and more transparent while Ritz has a darker base color so it creates the impression of more makeup. ⚡Looking at the shimmers, Cowboy has finer and shinier shimmers and looks smooth and clear when applied on the eyelids while Ritz's shimmers are less fine and duller. ⚡Price: Urban Decay's Cowboy - for $20.00 for 0.05 oz, Colorpop Ritz - for $6.00 and contains 0.07 oz. Cowboy has a better effect overall. Considering the cost, Ritz is still a really good choice. Students with a tight budget can give Ritz a try.

DUPE for Urban Decay Naked Heat palette!
Urban Decay Naked Heat palette is very popular. As an eyeshadow palette, it is a little bit expensive. I find NYX contour intuitive palette CIP 02 is very similar to Naked Heat but the price of NXY is only a quarter of Naked Heat. I would like to compare the two brand and to see if NXY could replace Naked Heat. Naked Heat I like the packaging of the naked heat palette. It's so cool and so unique. Customers can get 12 colours from light to dark, from warmer to cooler. It comes with a double-ended brush, fluffy blending brush on one side and a flat brush on the other side. I like warm eyeshade and the colours in this palette are so pretty. I love it because it is so much suited to my style. It can last a very long time even without a primer. It is easy to blend and colours work beautifully with each other. The colours are very pigmented and hard to fall out. I also enjoy choosing colours for different occasions, from daily routine markup to nightclub markup. It is so useful for different eye looks and suits my brown eyes nicely. Naked Heat’s dupe, NYX contour intuitive cip02 has 6 eyes shadows, highlights and blush. I will be only be talking the eyeshadows in the palette, which are the six colours on the right. It provides warm and natural looks. The colours are very close to Naked Heat. The first colour on the first row of NYXis very close to “ounce” of Naked Heat. “ounce” has tiny sheen while NYX has a flat matter. They are very similar but I prefer Naked Heat one because it is warmer and shining. “sauced” of Naked Heat and the third colour on the first row of NYX looks similar. Although the colours are very closed, Naked Heat is much more pigmented than NYX. “lumbre” is a very gorgeous, stunning warm gold from Naked Hear. It is very close to the second colour of the first row of NYX. Beyond my expectation, NYX shows better pigmented and much warmer than Naked Heat, which surprised me a lot. The problem is that NYX does not last very long and easily fall out. Although the colours are very similar between the two palettes, Naked Heat is better than NYX for good pigment, long-lasting and the lovely feeling on my eyes, especially the silky smooth feel around the delicate eye area. I don't think NXY could replace Urban Decay Naked Heat.

The Best and Mehs of Too Faced
I am unashamed to love kitschy packaging. So over the years, Too Faced definitely drew me in. Most of their products have been wins for me, but I did find one dud + a trend. Too Faced - Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette Not every shadow in this palette is buttery or easy to blend (i.e. Cherry Cordial and Black Forest orest Truffle). But the nude colors are wonderful. Salted Caramel is still one of my favorite one-shadow colors of all time, and I use Semi-Sweet to fill my brows every day. Too Faced - Melted Matte-Tallic Liquid Lipstick (Shade: Sell Out) It has a very thin texture, and dries down super fast. it lasted through my 9-5 work day, surviving both lunch and coffee. It only started to break down at the end of the day, making it look like blotted lipstick. But for its opacity, it's definitely a fav. Too Faced - La Creme Mystical Lipstick (Shade: Pink Chocolate) A very balmy lipstick that goes on evenly and almost glossy. Smells like delicious lemonade, and the sturdy packaging makes it feel royal. Too Faced - Better Than Sex Mascara I have tried a lot of mascaras, and this one stands out for making lashes look feathery. The wand makes it easy to separate lashes evenly, and the thick formula makes them look thick from the root. Out of all these products, I only had one 'meh.’ Too Faced - Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette Now discontinued, but I think it follows a trend in Too Faced. Just like the Chocolate bar, the dark matte shades with sparkles are hard to blend and build up. The sparkles also seem to blend away... The brown shades like Peanut Butter perform well, but if you're going to get a product with Too Faced's strengths, might as well get an all nude palette.

My GO-TO eyeshadow for various occasions
Collecting eyeshadow palette is such a satisfying thing! I never get enough. I especially fancy large palette as I can make diverse combinations of color by my will and style depends on what kind of occasion I am wearing it to. I have collected three palettes from URBAN DECAY ‘s Naked Series, and this brand has launched so many trendy palettes with different themes of color schemes. I bought the Heat palette because of its high popularity and positive reviews. The warm and amber-hued color makes it an excellent choice if you are looking forward to using it every day. Almost suitable for all the daily occasions, I especially love to wear it in summer as dull colors should be avoided. Some of the colors are so beautiful sometimes I would pick one of them and apply on whole eyes when I aim at a lightweight makeup. Naked 3 Eyeshadow has a rose-based color scheme, which has a cooler tone compare to the Heat palette. I use this more often in winter, and I would recommend this over the other two for a more formal occasion like date or appointment. I am particularly attracted to the glittery and shimmer shades in this one, and the color is supernatural and tender that add elegance to your look. The Naked 2 Eyeshadow is your go-to weapon for parties and clubs! The undertone is ultra-cool, and you can easily create smoky heavy makeup use this palette. I would use this palette when I'm looking to create eye makeup with strong contrast and is obvious even in dark lighting conditions.

Warm Tone Palette: Dupes vs High-End Products
COLOURPOP-FEM ROSA - KARRUECHE X COLOURPOP Price: $18 This palette is a straight-up warm and a hint of the neutral colour like. I personally recommend this palette out of all the colour pop palettes. This swatch has six mattes in it. It also has the shade ‘Ladylike’, you can set your eye primer with this and that’s what I have to do with this shade. It’s kind of like creamy light banana shade. You can also use this to highlight your brow bone and your inner corner if you want a matte highlight. ‘Chick’: if you want to highlight your brow bone with it, it is more gold and it’s glitterier. It also has some nice ledge shades, like ‘Dainty’, ‘Mademoiselle’, and ‘Empress’. You get 4 transition shades: ‘Dear’, ‘Missy’, ‘Damsel’ and ‘Duchess’. The first three shades are warmer, and ‘Duchess’ is more neutral. So, you have that option definitely with transition shades it really directs where your look is going. Naked Heat Collection by Urban Decay Price: $54 It is definitely warm tones too. It has 12 rectangular shape shadows, a large mirror, and a double-sided brush as usual. The shades set up from light to dark. I’m going to quote urban decay on this, it says this is the most shade driven Naked palette urban decay has ever created. And I completely agree with that. These shades in this are very monochromatic. There are too many ‘RED’ in it. It only has four shades are neutral and one shade is kind of purple. There are 7 matte shades and 5 shimmer shades. In terms of the shade, the two palettes are similar. Urban Decay is more expensive, but I don't think it performs better. If you want to travel with one of them, I think you'll prefer COLOURPOP because it's much lighter in weight.

My 3 Favourite Eyeshadows
Collecting makeup truly brings me joy, and of the eyeshadows that I have played with throughout the years, I have narrowed my favorites down to these three eyeshadows: Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow, Clinique Shadow Trio, and Nars Eyeshadow Duo. Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter #Perlina: I cannot live without glitter eyeshadows because I love fancy and lively eye makeup. I find that Stila’s liquid eyeshadow is by far one of the superior glitter eyeshadows that I have tried. Its shade and texture just work so well for me. This eyeshadow is in a white translucent color that encompasses different shades of glitter, such as blue, yellow and pink, which really adds dimension. Dotting this onto eyelids really adds an extra spark and specialness to the whole look. Because of its liquid texture, it stays on the eyes better than powder eyeshadows. I literally cannot find one single bad thing about this product! Clinique Shadow Trio #01 sunset glow, 06 daybreak, AA French vanilla: This eyeshadow trio has all the most basic yet must have colors, including a white beige color, white shimmer and light brown color, which is perfect for an everyday occasion in my opinion. Because it is so compact and the colors compliment each other well, I always carry it in my purse and bring it to travels with me. The colors are very neutral and enhance my eyes naturally, and the texture feels very smooth and creamy. Even though the color payoff isn’t very high, but it allows me to achieve a natural look, and it is easy to build up. Therefore, I still highly recommend this product. Nars Eyeshadow Duo #Kuala Lumpur: Its combination of colors suits my taste, which consists of a nude pink shade with gold shimmers and a dark burgundy shade also with gold shimmers. I find that gold shimmers complete my neutral skin tone really, even if the base colors are more suited for cool skin tones. These two eyeshadows give me a rosy and deep eye look, which I absolutely love! I often use this for a more special occasion where I want my eyes to stand out. The color payoff is really high and applies smoothly.
