Dupe, Worth it? L.O.V versus ARMANI lipstick
This review is going to talk about two liquid lipstick products at different prices, which are Lip Maestro Liquid Lipstick from ARMANI, and Fatal Muse Liquid Matte Lipstick from L.O.V. Let’s see if the drug store brand can be a dupe and beat high-end brand. ARMANI Lip Maestro Liquid Lipstick NO.405 - € 36 This is the best seller of ARMANI, and I have no doubt about that because after I use it, I really love it. The texture is so smooth, so creamy, and it goes on like a gloss but dries matte, a velvety matte, which is so gorgeous. This lip colour is highly pigmented, so it’s full coverage and can deliver a rich-looking finish. Its iconic formula is giving lips ultimate comfort, so it doesn’t feel heavy or dry on my lips. And no sticky at all. The colour can be transferred while eating or drinking, but I think it’s acceptable. The other thing I would like to mention is that it’s easy to apply with the applicator and shape a beautiful lip contour. L.O.V Fatal Muse Liquid Matte Lipstick NO.700 - € 8.99 This is a brand that comes from Germany and it’s also a sub-brand of Catrice. You can buy it from its official website or drug store. I have seen people talked about this brand online and said it is a dupe of ARMANI liquid lipstick, so I got one to have a try, but to be honest, I don’t think this is a substitute for ARMANI. The colour is truly beautiful, and the pigmentation is intense. The velvety matte finish is also very nice. The texture goes smooth and well-blended, but it feels heavier on my lips than ARMANI does. It feels that the colour just sitting on my lips rather than coating them, so it’s easily transferred as well. And I don’ know why but the liquid just spilt over and makes the tube mouth always messy. The applicator is not good either. There is always too much liquid on it, and the shape of the applicator makes me always apply the colour out of my lip line. So I would say L.O.V is still a decent liquid lipstick product at its price (just € 8.99), but it cannot beat ARMANI liquid lipstick. Although ARMANI liquid lipstick has a 4 times higher price than L.O.V, it is worth it.

Armani beauty Lip Maestro in 206 Cedar - Brown
ARMANI beauty - Lip Maestro Liquid Matte Lipstick I got this as a little extra “Thank You” in my December 2029 Allure Beauty Box. I put my AirPod case next to this for size reference. This shade is described as a brown but this is really more like a brick red. It doesn’t quite dry down matte and the box actually didn’t say whether it was the Lip Maestro Stain or the Matte Lip, but I’m pretty sure it’s the Matte Lip because of the almost silicone-y feel it has. It reminds me of the texture of the Rare Beauty Matte Lipstick. I can’t really say how long it lasts because I don’t wear lipstick like this with a mask (I can’t wait to be able to actually use lip products again 😭), but I don’t think it’s a stay all day kind of lip product. This is a really nice product and I’m glad I got to try it out!
Lip Gloss as Blush 😍
All of us want to know the useful make-up tricks to illuminate our face in an instant with minimal effort. Here’s a trick - after your regular application of lipstick, lip gloss, or both, simply dab the excess product onto the cheeks and blend! One of my favorite lip gloss is the best-selling Armani Beauty Lip Maestro liquid lipstick in shade 400. ARMANI beauty - Lip Maestro Liquid Matte Lipstick The non-drying liquid lipstick is heavily pigmented and infuses my lips with an intense deep red color while providing a velvet matte finish with lasting hydration and comfort. After using a clean finger to go around my lips after application, I usually dab the excess color on my finger lightly and in tapping motions on my cheeks for a fresh face glow. This turns the lip color as a cream or liquid blush! Less is more, especially with rich lip pigments. Go with a little at any one time. Using a deep red color may seem daunting at first, try a pink or peachy coloured lip gloss for a more natural effect.ARMANI beauty - Lip Maestro Liquid Matte Lipstick
BEST IN DRUGSTORE - Liquid Lipstick
UNICORN GLOW - Creamy Velvet Lip in 05 TOFFEE WHAT IS IT? Liquid lipstick. TEXTURE/CONSISTENCY: Creamy, velvety consistency. When dried out it has matte finish. OVERALL THOUGHTS: I’m obsessed with this brand. They launched last year and recently entered CVS as their first major retailer. I received a PR package from them last year that included Creamy Velvet Lip in different color and I loved it so much I purchased this color 05 TOFFEE at my local CVS. To me this is the perfect matte lip formula. Creamy, velvety, light, doesn’t dry my lips, lasts when drinking and disappears gradually without leaving weird outer ring on your lip line. Also the applicator is great and it’s very easy to apply it. Love love love this!!! WHY I LIKE/DISLIKE IT: I love the velvety formula, matte finish and the cute packaging. WOULD I RECOMMEND IT ? YES!!! This is amazing drugstore product. If you love matte lip and/or blotted lip you need this. IS IT WORTH IT? 0.18 oz / 5g / $11 Not the cheapest drugstore lipstick but considering it’s a K-Beauty product and it’s easily available at CVS I think it’s definitely worth it.

Best Armani Lipstick Dupes – Mac
Armani Beauty gains great attention through the beauty markets. Even the price is at a high level. I think it is worth every penny. This brand always does a great job on each of product. Here, I have a dupe recommend – MAC cosmetics, which also provide great products at a very affordable price. These two lipsticks are mauve color, which brightens up my skin tone. Forget to mention that I'm fair to light skin tone. Armani Beauty Lip Magnet Liquid Lipstick $38 Color: 507 Garconne – Mauve Berry Armani #507 is a purple-pink color liquid lipstick. The color is very rich. The texture is lightweight and ultra-thin. It creates a matte finish without too heavy or too thin. And, it is very easy to apply. Mac Satin Lipstick $17 Color: Captive – Pinkish Plum This is a stick lipstick with pink-purple color. The texture of it is really rich and creamy. Color performance is so good. But it's a bit hard to apply. I will recommend wearing a lip primer before applying the lipstick, which will make the application smoothly. Although these two products have a different finish, one for matte and other for satin, the final finish look won't have a great difference. The color of them looks very similar. Though Mac Lipstick #Captive is called as pinkish plum and Armani #507 is described as Mauve Berry, the actual look they present is that captive is more purplish and #507 is more pinkish. Both of them are quite long-lasting and waterproof. I could wear them for more than 5 hours. Armani lipstick did a better job on transfer-proof function. When I wear it, I don't need to refine the make-up after an afternoon tea. Overall, I like both of them. Also, I think both of the brands are professional in makeup products. I will recommend to choose them on your budgets or preference.

MAC - MAC Matte Lipstick This lipstick from MAC is my go-to lipstick everyday all day. It matches my skin tone so well and it’s just great!! I’ve realized I fit in warm colors like corals, orange and more red-toned makeup and this is the perfect dark nude for me. I’ve been on a hunt forever after a lipstick that I could just smack on for whatever situation that would still look cute but natural and this is it! It doesn’t pop like a glam red but it’s not a light pink nude either. It’s the perfect nude for me. Persistence is matte and easy to apply, lasts long on the lips too! I have three of this probably and I always have one in my pocket. So glad I found this. Recommending to everyone who has beige skin tone like me!!

Create my own summer lip color 🍒+🍑
Today I want to share a really beautiful combination that I love to do recently. Since there are more sunny days this month, I prefer using shiny lip glosses. And the Water Stain collection of Yves Saint Laurent has been my favorite lip products recently because they are water-enriched, lightweight, fresh, and non-sticky at all. The price is $37, like the regular prices of YSL lip products, and recently Sephora has its VIP sales for 20% off, which is a perfect time to give it a try. Let’s start from the base color #610, named nude underwater, which is a brown nutmeg nude. I usually do two layers, because the color is quite sheer but still buildable. I want to have a peach nude color underneath, so the other color will blend naturally. Then I will use #613 on top. This is called Cascade Bordeaux, which is a deep burgundy shade if I do several layers, and a bright strawberry red if I only do one layer. That is the reason I love this collection because they are sheer and buildable, and you can choose how many colors you want depending on seasons, weathers or moods. In this combination, I will only put #613 on the center of my lower lip and blend it with #610 and repeat it again to have a juicy cherry lip color. Then I will use #610 again only on the edge of my lips and blend it inside to have a soft transition. Comparing with only using #610, I feel this combination can make my lips look more pump, and the color is perfect for summer. Since we have to stay at home, it’s time to do some creativity. I do have fun using my old lip colors to create some new ones, and I think it is a good way to save money too. YVES SAINT LAURENT - Vernis à Lèvres Water Stain Lip Stain

My 3 Favourite Lipsticks
Lipsticks come in a huge variety, whether it be shades or textures, and I always have trouble choosing a favourite. However, as of lately, I’ve been loving and reaching towards these three lipsticks the most: Yves Saint Laurent Vernis À Lèvres Water Stain, Yves Saint Laurent Vernis A Levres Vinyl Cream Stain, and Sephora Collection Color Lip Last Lipstick. YSL Water Stain #610: This has been my favourite lipstick to use as the weather turns colder, and the leaves turns redder. This shade resembles a toned down, milk tea colour that matches perfectly with the autumn mood, so I have been using it daily. I love the texture of this lipstick because it is moisturizing, which has been helping my lips cope with the drying weather. What’s more surprising is that it is not heavy and sticky on the lips at all, unlike most glossy type lipsticks. Like its name, its finish is glossy but not overly tacky, just like your lips have been coated by a thin layer of water. However, due to its lightweight texture, it is not very long lasting and the colour transfers easily onto other objects. YSL Vinyl Cream Stain #416: I also love to use this product recently because of its sophisticated, rotten tomato shade that really compliments my skin tone (neutral). I tend to use it for more special occasions where I want to go for a more dramatic look. Similar to the Water Stain, it also gives a glossy finish, which I adore lately because it makes the lips look plump and healthy. However, it does feel heavier on the lips, but it is the most long lasting out of the three lipsticks because it stains the lips. I love the application because it glides on easily, blending smoothly onto the lips. Both YSL lipsticks smell like sweet candy, which is definitely a plus for me. Sephora Collection Color Lip Last Lipstick: Last but not least, this lipstick also made it into my top 3 list because I was pleasantly surprised by its texture and colour payoff. It feels like butter and glides right onto the lips. Also, it has amazing colour payoff. Normally, I only need to dab a little onto the lips, and one swipe is enough to deepen the colour. I love to use this when I want matte lips for a daily look, because of its beautiful dried rose shade, not to mention it also smells like sweet candy, which lightens my mood whenever I use it!
SEPHORA COLLECTION-Color Lip Last Lipstick
I love this lipstick, this is my second lipstick and the formula it’s soooo good I don’t have words to describe it’s matte finish, but it’s so creamy -Also it’s so pigmented -Good coverage -Long-lasting -Don’t dry your lips -Good size -Good price ($19 dls us) 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
