Empty Bottle! 7 weeks after using The Ordinary ✨
The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% I started The Ordinary’s Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% serum with the goal of brightening dark circles and reducing hyperpigmentation, reducing redness and blotchiness, and reducing sebaceous cysts. I can say with confidence that I have met all these skincare goals whilst using this product for the past 7 weeks and I am thrilled that it worked for me as well as it did! I also noticed a bonus of having skin that is a lot more smooth on top of everything else (as seen in my before live picture). This is the only serum that I have used along with the rest of my skincare routine. My method of using this serum is to drop 3 droplets of serum onto my fingertips and apply all over my face after washing my face with toner, and then apply moisturizer afterwards. I have also gotten into a habit of applying extra product onto my neck as well and have noticed brightening and wrinkle reductions where I have creases on my neck! Make sure not to touch the dropper onto your skin, as the dirt and oils from your skin may contaminate the product that is already in the bottle. In an earlier post, I had mentioned that I did experience some purging during the beginning of using this product. I did break out a little and experienced redness and sensitivity all over my skin during the first week of using this product, but stuck it out despite my skepticisms. However, I’d suggest that if the redness and break outs are significantly worse than what you are normally used to, you may be having an allergic reaction to this product. I also did not notice any minimization or pore reduction, but I anticipate this for most products I use since genetically speaking, I have big pores and I don’t think any skincare product can help me with this. I do have to say that the sebum control around my nose has improved significantly and I don’t get as many whiteheads as I used to! I can not recommend this product enough to people who want to try this miracle HG product 🥰🥰. It is so worth it especially for the price it’s sold for!!! I’ve already bought a second bottle of 60ml and it will continue to be in my skincare routine from now on!

🍑 Mini JBeauty Haul 🍑
Picked up some products at a newly opened Japanese megastore that opened. 💕💕 BCL - Momo Puri Jelly Mask This is a jelly sheet mask that is meant to give your skin . It’s formula is infused with peach ceramide and lactobacillus probiotics. I was instantly drawn to the use of probiotics on the skin because it is scientifically proven that the colonization of healthy bacteria on the skin can prevent harmful pathogens from thriving and can have anti inflammatory effects on the skin (here is a link to one clinical research study that supports this statement: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23286870/). This is probably the best sheet mask that I have used for moisturizing, it leaves my skin feeling supple without feeling sticky and gave my skin a nice hydrating boost. The peach smell was really nice as well 🥰🍑. If you have extremely dry skin, BCL also has a Momo Puri Peach Milk Jelly Mask formulation that is meant to give an extra hydrating boost for people who are looking for intensely moisturizing masks! dejavu - Lash Up Mascara This is a fantastic mascara for people who have short straight lashes. Volumizing mascaras can have very thick brush that can lead to clumping if you have fine straight lashes. The Lash Up Mascara has a smaller comb to allow you to catch fine lashes and allow you to separate your lashes without transferring to much product or clumping them together. It works great alone or as a base! I have used dejavu mascaras for as long as I can remember and one thing I love that they have in common is that they literally do not budge. I have cried rivers with this stuff and it stays in place. Lash Up is definitely HG material for me!

✨🌸 Sheer Glowey No-makeup Makeup 🌸✨
Hi! Most of you don’t know me but I am more of a fan of minimal and natural makeup that enhances my features, and most of my makeup looks embody that. This is my first makeup look that I’m posting on Cherie, I hope you all enjoy! 🌸 Primer: THREE - Angelic Complexion Primer SPF22/PA+++ in 03 yellow. This is a color correction, SPF 22/PA+++ primer from my favorite Japanese cosmetics brand; they are still relatively unknown internationally. All their products strive to be derived from natural ingredients and free of parabens and they blend so effortlessly onto my skin like second skin. It’s also great that it’s fragrance free as well and easy on the skin! If anyone wants to know more about THREE Cosmetics, let me know and I can do a post on it! 🌸 Foundation: THREE - Angelic Symbiosis Foundation in 01. This is a lightweight, gel foundation with a powdery-matte finish with a slight bit of shine that allows your natural skin’s glow to shine through. I dab just a little bit onto my skin and blend with my fingers which gives it a nicer finish than using a brush. 🌸 Concealer: NARS - Radiant Creamy Concealer in VANILLA, conceal your under eyes and other areas of redness. 🌸 Setting: URBAN DECAY - All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray 🌸 Eyeshadow and Lips: DEAR DAHLIA - Teddy Bare Collection- Paradise Dream Velvet Lip Mousse in Cosy. An ultra versatile product that can be used as cream eyeshadow and blush along with being a lip mousse. Cosy is the most flattering dusty rose/pink mauve color I’ve used. 🌸 Eyebrows: ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Brow Definer in Chocolate, fill eyebrows according to your natural shape. 🌸 Eyeliner: MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner in Earthquake, tight-line your eyes and wing them. 🌸 Mascara: dejavu - Fiberwig Rash Knock Out Extra Volume Mascara in Dynamite Black, apply 2 coats. 🌸 Blush: Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color in Puff, 2 dabs per cheek, blend in the center of the cheeks. 🌸 Highlighter: BECCA - Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Moonstone, use fingers to brush a little on cheekbones, tip of nose, forehead and cupid’s bow. KBeauty Must-have Brand: Romand
Romand is an award winning Korean beauty line founded by Saerom Min, an influencer from the beauty blog Gaeko. Min became widely known due to her unique approach to makeup in South Korea, where she taught women to make the most of their features and embrace their own unique look. Her brand is testimony to how much thought and care she put into her products, going as far as testing her products and their suitability for everyday wear herself. Today I will be reviewing her eyeshadow palette, 2 lipsticks and 2 lip glosses from Romand! romand - Better Than Eyes (color: 01 Dry Mango) This is an incredibly flattering eyeshadow palette. The colors are gorgeous and the staying power of this eyeshadow formula is honestly extremely impressive, and I wore this in extreme heat and humidity without primer. However, it isn’t very pigmented and requires quite a bit of product to show. romand - See Through Matte Tint (color: 05 Burn Wrap) This is a great lipstick tint with a slightly more sheer consistency. It leaves a beautiful stain on the lips and has a powder-like effect on the lips when you blend it with your fingertips. It can be a bit drying if you have really dry lips like me though. All romand lipsticks have a scent to them that may not be appealing to some, but I personally don’t mind it. romand - Zero Velvet Tint (color: 05 Witty) This is a more pigmented lipstick with a moussy consistency, but can easily be blended as well for a softer look. It also leaves a beautiful stain on your lips. The formula is lightweight and airy despite its pigmentation. However, again, it can be quite drying on the lips if they are not properly primed. I romand - Glasting Water Tint 6 Colors (color: 05 rose splash) This is is a fantastic lipgloss for if you want a lipstick color with a glossy finish. It leaves a stain on your lips that just does not budge unless you use makeup remover. It’s very pretty and looks incredible as a gradient lip stain for your inner lip. The gloss is not sticky as well and does not dry out your lips! romand - Glasting Water Gloss (03 Night Marine) This is the perfect lip gloss. It comes out looking sparkly and sheer and is absolutely not sticky at all. It glides on smoothly on top of other lipsticks to give it a glossy finish, without altering the color of the product underneath. The applicator is plastic which allows for you to easily clean it after use. It does leave a minty finish which I personally enjoy, but others may not.

✨🍑Thoughts on my Massive August Haul🍑✨
I will do in depth reviews of some of the items in later posts that include swatches so stay tuned if you’re interested in any of them! Pictured above: 🍑 Glossier Soothing Face Mist Rosewater Spray This is a great face mist that I have been using either to spray after I do my face makeup or to revitalize dull looking skin during the day. The mist is fine and soothing, but the rose scent is a bit overpowering. 🍑 Glossier Cloud Paint in BEAM My favorite out of what I purchased!!! This is an incredible cream blush and exactly what I have been looking for! The peachy warmth that this color adds to my skin creates a natural healthy looking flush without being too overwhelming and stays on all day even when I wear a mask. It is buildable and blends seamlessly into my skin. 🍑 3CE Mood Recipe Face Blush in Nude Peach Another great blush, this color is a muted peachy pink color that has a soft matte finish. The color is a soft hue and is very blendable with a decent wear time despite mask use! In contrast to Cloud Paint, this blush gives a more matte and soft finish rather than a flushed glow. 🍑 Romand Better Than Eyes #01 Dry Mango Tulip I have never had an eyeshadow palette that I loved more than this nice little quad palette. The colors are so flattering and beautiful to use on my eyes, and has staying power that supersedes some big luxury bands that I have tried. 🍑 Romand See-Through Matte Tint #05 Brick Cover A powder matte tint with an extremely flattering muted brick-orange color that is perfect transitioning into fall weather. The formula is lightweight on the lips and leaves a gorgeous pumpkin color stain on my lips with minimal transfer. 🍑 Romand Zero Velvet Tint #05 Witty The zero velvet tint lipsticks are more pigmented than the see-through matte line, yet also stays airy and lightweight on your lips just the same! This color is a nice deep red-brown color that leaves a gorgeous stain on my lips. 🍑 Romand Glasting Water Gloss #03 Night Marine A great, yet cheap lip gloss that leaves a beautiful sparkly finish on your lips. The lip gloss is not sticky at all and leaves a minty finish on my lips. The wand is plastic and easy to clean when glossing over lipsticks. 🍑 Dear Dahlia Paradise Velvet Lip Mousse in Cosy This is the perfect nude color for me. It is a 3 in one product that can be used as eyeshadow and blush in addition to being a lipstick. It does transfer a bit and tends to be a bit drying but it is one of the most gorgeous colors I have ever tried. It looks fantastic as an eyeshadow as well! 🍑 Dear Dahlia Tone Up Sun Cushion This was my least favorite purchase. Although it got the job done with evening skin tone and providing a solid foundation-free base, it is a bit streaky and difficult to blend well. However packaging is gorgeous and I LOVE the pump-style cushion.

A Foolproof 7 Step Leg Care Guide
Here is a step by step guide that I have tried the past few times I’ve shaved and I have noticed a difference in how my hairs have grown back and the reducing pigmentation. For reference, I have thick coarse hairs against fair skin and had a lot of ingrown hairs before I started taking care of my legs. I start off the shaving process an hour before I actually shave. 1. Wash legs thoroughly and gently. I use: JĀSON - Pure Natural Body Wash, Soothing Aloe Vera This is a gentle and moisturizing body wash with aloe vera in its formula. I make sure my legs are clean of any dirt or dead skin that may have been trapped in its pores, and rinse with lukewarm water to minimize skin irritation. 2. Dry your legs and massage with jojoba oil. I use the Muji jojoba oil as it is the cheapest option I could find where I live. The formula is light and does not leave an oily residue on my skin. This step will ensure that you shave against moisturized skin. 3. Wash your legs again after an hour or more before you shower! The jojoba oil will also free any dirt or oils that may have been trapped in your pores. 4. Exfoliate your legs after taking a regular shower and washing your legs. And be gentle! I use a LUSH exfoliant that leaves my skin feeling so soft and nice after using it. LUSH - Rub Rub Rub 5. Lather your wet legs with a shaving cream. I use LUSH’s Prince shaving cream which not only conditions my leg hair before shaving, but also tones and tightens pores to prime them for shaving. The formula is infused with rose water which soothes and calms irritated skin. LUSH - Prince Shaving Cream 6. Shave with a good razor. I found that a lot of razors marketed towards women are often too expensive and are not sharp enough, so I switched to a men’s razor and have not looked back. I use Gillette Mach 3 Sensitive and it has given me amazing, close shaves unlike any feminine razor I have ever tried. I also rinse my legs again after shaving. 7. Dry your legs and moisturize! I use an aloe vera gel first to soothe my legs after shaving and to reduce any irritation, then use Cetaphil’s moisturizing lotion which has shea butter, vitamin E and B5 to maintain moisture and help reduce hyperpigmentation. The formula is lightweight and doesn’t leave a greasy residue on the skin. #DEWYTREE - Green Power Aloe Soothing Gel 98%[products]#[FourStars] Cetaphil - Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion For maintenance in between shaves, I use jojoba oil and aloe gel to moisturize my legs in the morning, and Cetaphil moisturizing lotion at night. My skin is feeling a lot smoother and I don’t get strawberry legs and the bumpy and itchy ingrown hairs like I used to, and I won’t be changing this routine anytime soon since it is so effective for me!

"Duplicate" iconic supermodel look | Vintage Makeup Tutorial
When I was browsing the cover of vogue 90s magazine, I was immediately attracted by Christy Turlington. Turlington is one of that era’s key faces of all-American glamour, a beauty icon for an entire generation. She looks gorgeous, so pretty!! I’m a big fan of Turlington, so I decided to “duplicate” this makeup look. Preparation Prepare the face to receive makeup by removing all excess oil and dirt on face entirely with water or cleansing milk suitable for your skin type. Once cleansed, moisturize the face, and apply eye cream to the eyes to relax, and erase the puffiness. Finish by moisturizing the lips with a balm. Base makeup Mix a dab of complexion beautifier with a foundation, then apply it with a makeup brush. The beautifier is used to return the light and to give radiance to the complexion, the foundation to cover imperfections and unify the skin. Finish with concealer, to be applied in the corner of the eye and under the eye. After the base makeup, I apply the powder sunscreen lightly with a flat brush on the advanced parts of the face (in the places that are most prone to sunburn in summer: the nose, forehead, chin) and the cheekbones. Then, bring freshness and “sculpture” my face by applying the bronzer and the blush with a flat brush, on the cheekbones, from the eye to ear. Eye makeup For the eye makeup, I abandon eyeshadow only use a brow gel to shape and enhance my eyebrow to make it looks more natural and fluffy. Then use individual eyelashes to emphasize my eyes. If you want to get natural-looking results, highly recommend individual eyelashes! They are much easier to apply than strip eyelashes. You can place them anywhere along your lash line! Last step, pillow talk lipstick for lip and a setting spray for the full face! Project accomplished! I hope you would love my finished look and welcome all comments!

Affordable&Amazing! This is a Game Changer for Oily Skin!!!
I have oily and acne-prone skin, which means I’m always dealing with clogged and enlarged pores, especially in the forehead nose (the T-zone😖). When pores are clogged, it can result in blackheads, acne and dull skin. My skin is also a little sensitive so my idea of the perfect exfoliator is one that can eliminate all that trapped dirt and debris without being harsh on the skin. My sister who studied in Japan recommended suisai - Beauty Clear Powder . I was a bit sceptical at first as it's packaged into tiny capsules which I've never tried before and the fine powder granules didn’t seem very scrub-like at all. However, my impression on the texture changed once I added water, as it lathered into a rich, bouncy foam almost immediately. I just used my finger to lather it up into foam like this, but some skincare tools like foaming mesh can do a better job. After just one use, I did feel that my face was squeaky clean, but not in a drying kind of way. And that my PM routine of toner and moisturiser didn’t feel as heavy. The MOST amazing thing is that the products effectively removed my blackheads!!! I just cleaned my nose with the bouncy foam to soften the blackheads, then use the needle remover to gently remove them. Don't forget to apply some aloe vera gel after that. I'm really amazed at the result! The product contains two different enzymes and amino acid cleansing ingredients that will exfoliate your skin by removing keratin plugs, residue in pores and reducing roughness. The smaller exfoliants that are designed to lift away dead skin cells on the surface before they get trapped in your pores. It's SUPER convenient for weekend trip as I don't have to worry about squeezing out too much product or about spillage in my luggage. I bought it for $24 (32 capsules per pack) and I think its worth it! I'll DEF repurchased it！

Lip Hacks! Only 5 easy steps to get fuller lips!👄
In the whole face makeup, lip makeup is the most important step. Subtle lip satin makeup is very popular in South Korea, but I think it can also make our lips fuller. Step1: Use a concealer to make lip base. Step2: Choose a lighter lip stain and apply it on lips. Step3: Purse lips for several times. Step4: It doesn't matter if you overline lips. Step5: Find a same color lipstick and apply on the inside of your lips to deepen the color. Lipstick: ysl/mac It's very simple to learn even for beginners!
Only 1 product that can illuminate your skin immediately✨
I know a lot of girls are looking for ways to illuminate your complexion. Except base makeup, the most important thing is highlighter. Just choose the right one and apply it in the right place, and you can get glowingskin in a second! This is my recent makeup look. I wanted to make a summer glow makeup at first, but finally it became fox eye makeup. It is also a little bit smoky makeup. Products I use: Base makeup: VALMONT - Elixir Teint Précieux Foundationit Cosmetics - Bye Bye Under Eye Anti-Aging Concealer(highly recommended) Eyebrows: ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Dipbrow Pomade Eyeshadow: NYX - Ultimate Shadow Palette Highlights: MAC - Extra Dimension Skinfinish Highlighter#fDouble gleam Honestly this is my current favorite highlighter! You can tell from the pic that the most essential part of this makeup is the highlighter. It will illuminate complexion immediately and make your skin glow! Girls with fair or medium skin tone can use this one. Usage: You can spray water with a brush or just use your hands. Lipstick: MAC - MAC Matte Lipstick#persistence

The Ordinary Ultimate Guide to Mixing & Layering✨
There are a lot of myths about how to play with The Ordinary products. Some products you could mix and match, but some cannot. The followings are some notes that I took based on the research I did at Cassandra Bankson's Youtube Channel. I've also attached the link on the bottom. Hope you enjoy it.💞 Antioxidants: They don’t pair well with water. Don’t mix it with other products on your hands at the same time, and wait around 30 minutes to 1h to move to the next step of your skincare. Or you could use your antioxidants and contradictory products at opposite times a day, one in the morning and one in the evening. The Ordinary - EUK 134 0.1%: Avoid mixing with Acids, Vitamin C, L Ascorbic Acid 100%, and Copper Peptides. The Ordinary - Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3%: avoid mixing with water-based formulas and Copper Peptides The Ordinary - Pycnogenol 5%: derived from pine trees. The most stable and friendly product to play with others. Avoid mixing with water-based formulas and Copper Peptides. However, the Vitamin Cs, retinol, and niacinamide can be used with this product. The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanseris good at everything. The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution: use only once a day. Be careful with other acid products when you use it. Try not to use it with any retinol, won’t make either of them very effective. Avoid mixing with most antioxidants, The Buffet, Copper Peptides. If you really want to use peptides, you should use the toner first and let it soak into your skin for around 10 mins, and then go for the peptides. Acids: The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution: it’s very strong, don’t use it alongside with other acids. Avoid mixing with EUK 134, any peptides, and 100% L Ascorbic Acid. After rinsing it off, you can use Niacinamide & zinc, or any of the hyaluronic acid products. The Ordinary - Azelaic Acid Suspension 10%: comes as a cream, which is more stable. Always patch test before putting on your face. Avoid mixing with EUK 134 and Copper Peptides. Ascorbic acid powder or non-copper peptides MIGHT also cause irritations. Except these, this plays well with pretty much everything else. Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, Mandelic Acid, and Salicylic Acid: avoid mixing with other acids, EUK 134, Copper Peptides, and 100% L Ascorbic Acid. Acid and Vitamin C can really sting and burn your skin. All of the hydrators and oils really play well with other products, no contradictions at all. The Ordinary - 100% Organic Virgin Sea-Buckthorn Fruit Oiland The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oilhave high amounts of beneficial properties to them. Pairing with a sunscreen if you want to use them during the day. The Ordinary - Amino Acids + B5: avoid mixing with other strong acids. More Molecules: The Ordinary - Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA: this plays well with pretty much everything. Be aware of other antioxidants because it is a water base. The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG: no contradictions. Water based serum. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%: avoid mixing with any Vitamin C products from the ordinary Peptides: The Ordinary - "Buffet" + Copper Peptides 1%: it doesn’t play well with anyone, specifically avoid mixing with acids, Vitamin C, and antioxidants. Same thing for the regular “buffet” even though it is much more stable. Retinol: The Ordinary - Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion: contains water, no antioxidants with it, except for the pine derived pycnogenol, which works very well with it. Retinol in squalene: oil-based. All of the ordinary’s retinoids play very well with their peptides. Sunscreen: NO contradictions 🎉🎉 Vitamin C: avoid mixing with EUK 134, other acids, any peptides, and Niacinamide. Great with other vitamin C and sunscreens. Check the link below to watch more details from Cassandra. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4fnrqHWLS_U And let me know if you have any questions or thoughts about The Ordinary products. 💖💖💖
