AC Collection Calming Liquid Mild
COSRX - AC Collection Calming Liquid Mild
Grateful to be chosen by @stylekorean_global to review 𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐫𝐱’𝐬 𝐀𝐂 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧🌹 Cosrx AC line contains BHAs & essential oils. Because i’m on tretinoin, I tested out the line 𝐎𝐍𝐋𝐘 𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐲 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 & max of 3 times a week. So this review is based on the limited usage of these products ☺️ _________________________________ 🔆 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐚𝐦 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐫- salicylic acid face wash that helps unclog pores & treat lesions. This may be a lil drying for dry skin but works perfectly fine for me. It’s not as stripping as other SA cleansers I have. Does the job. 🔆 𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐬𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐫- propolis & aloe based gel moisturizer, i love its texture! I like its combination of powerhouse calming and hydrating ingredients— green tea, niacinamide, panthenol, sodium hyaluronate, zinc pca, centella complex. This feels very soothing & really does calm my skin. Also has tea tree which is a great anti microbial, was previously one of my favorites ingredients but apparently, it has fragrant compounds so it isn’t safe for long term use. The formulation also has Mint extract. Tea tree, mint, propolis are huge potential irritants. But overall, I still really enjoy this product. ~this is more like a humectant only, has to be sealed in with an occlusive 🔆 𝐚𝐜𝐧𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡- as usual it works great! Cosrx is my most trusted brand for pimple patches. They work wonders on cystic acnes-look nowhere else! 🔆 𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐭 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐮𝐦- could have been a great niacinamide serum w/ ceramide and peptide. The addition of tea tree & propolis being on top of the ingredients is my only apprehension. This is very hydrating but I would not use it everyday. 🔆 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐝 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐝- i find this formulation a great anti-inflammatory. It’s a green tea based toner w/ BHA (Betaine salicylate) & PHA plus tea tree & centella. This is free of alcohol. But works really well in breaking down sebum. 🔆 𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐭 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦- this was okay, did not do much for me. I will opt for the pimple patches.
COSRX - AC Collection Calming Liquid Mild CentellaAC-RX complex formula + Gluconolactone + Camellia Sinensis Leaf Water. Gluconolactone is similar to AHA, but is a gentler chemical exfoliant meant for sensitive skin. The Leaf Water helps soothe and recover sensitive skin. This toner is alcohol-free which helps maintain moisture balance and is less irritable for sensitive skin. The toner is exactly what I had expected - gentle, non-stripping, and non-irritating. I have found my skin texture surprisingly smoother since introducing the COSRX AC cleanser (see previous post) and toner consistently into my routine. I used to have some stubborn small bumps on my face that I could not get rid of using other chemical exfoliants. I also noticed that my pores on my nose are cleaner than before! The chemical exfoliants used in these two products worked really well for my skin. I did not experience any stinging sensation or skin irritation, as I sometimes do with when using other chemical exfoliating products. My skin has been blemish free since using these products. My would-be acne never surfaced! These products are winners in my books!
Hydrating Facial Oil
This facial oil is what sea buckthorn dreams are made of! I love using this as the last step in my skincare. It seals everything in and gives me a nice glow. I can use it under foundation, and layer it on other products at night. I only ever need 3-4 drops for my whole face, and it really has some nice properties. I would recommend if you are in the market for a facial oil, especially at this price point! GOOD MOLECULES - Ultra-Hydrating Facial Oil

GOOD MOLECULES - Silicone-Free Priming Moisturizer Love this for daytime! Personally I prefer a very light moisturizer during the day, and this is perfect for me. Not much to say about it other than I love the light texture, and the packaging is great, I love a pump! Recommend especially due to its affordability!

FIRST AID BEAUTY - Facial Radiance Pads Love!! These chemical exfoliation pads do a great job. This is a deluxe sample that I’ve almost used up, and my skin loves them (my skin loves chemical exfoliation in general lol). Definitely recommend giving them a try!

CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion This product is advertised as a ok lotion but I actually use it in the morning due to how lightweight it is. It sinks right into the skin which I prefer during the daytime, as someone with an oily nose that is my priority. This product is also very inexpensive, and I like that it’s in a pump packaging!

Current bath/shower gel: Philosophy Snow Angel
My friend kindly gifted me this shower gel during our skincare group secret Santa! This creamy shower gel is so gentle on the skin. It has a nice light scent to it. It took me a while to get used to it. The notes are fresh air, watery melon, jasmine petals, orange blossom, creamy vanilla, rich sandalwood and sugared musk. I love the size it comes in! I started using it in early December and I feel like I’ve only used 1/6 of it! philosophy - Snow Angel Shampoo, Shower Gel & Bubble Bath

Holy Grail Cleansing Water💦💦💦
The Dr. Jart+ - Dermaclear Micro Water is second to no other cleansing/micellar waters, in my opinion. This is the only one that I have ever liked the feeling of. This product is intended to remove makeup, dirt, and other grime on your skin (without having to wash your face). This is such a powerhouse product...it’s a gentle yet effective cleansing water, and it is packed with Dead Sea salt for its antibacterial properties and coconut water for moisturizing and softening the skin. You pour some of this water onto a cotton pad and then sweep it across your face and neck to cleanse! I like using this in the morning when I don’t want to wash my face unnecessarily, or at night before I use my actual cleanser if my skin feels particularly dirty. This is the only micellar water product that I like using, as it truly refreshes my skin in the AM rather than leaving it sticky and gross. Now...$32 for micellar water is a crazy price, and I wouldn’t recommend this to a friend because you don’t need to spend that much on micellar water. BUT, as someone with very picky skin, this cleansing water makes the cut for me, and I won’t use any other. So for me, it’s a 5/5 ⭐️ rating, due to the amazing ability jt has to cleanse my skin pleasantly, but if you’re satisfied with another micellar water, this has a 3/5 ⭐️ rating and isn’t something that I think you should splurge on. Overall, this is an essential product in my skincare routine. It stays out on my dresser daily so that I can keep reaching for it. It has a light citrus scent, which is apparently new when compared to older versions, but it is great to me because I never tried the original. What’s your fav cleansing water?!
