Soy Face Cleanser
fresh - Soy Makeup Removing Face Wash

New here! So I recently started my skin care journey. I’m 32, 15 weeks postpartum and nursing, dealing with some fine line and wrinkles, melasma, and overall uneven texture. Got some recommendations from friends and this is the regimen I’ve been sticking to the last 3 months. I have noticed improved texture, improved melasma. Fine lines and wrinkles and large pores are still a work in progress. Open to any and all advice that is nursing friendly ☺️
Dry/Dehydrated Skin Routine
Sometimes when I use too many clay masks or skip my skincare routine a few times (hey, life happens) my skin can get super dehydrated. In those instances, I like to use a simple, but effective routine to infuse hydration into my skin. This can be used at any time, and I do it whenever I need to (if my skin is super dry, I’ll even do this a few days in a row). Step 1 – Cleanse fresh - Soy Makeup Removing Face Wash I always start with a cleanser, and the Fresh Soy Face Cleanser is my favorite. It is very gentle, and effective. It has a light cucumber scent, which doesn’t bother me at all, I quite like it. I find that when my skin is dry, it tends to overproduce oils, so I like to cleanse it well, but I also want to make sure my cleanser isn’t stripping my skin. Step 2 – Hydrating Mist YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Adaptogen Soothe + Hydrate Activated Mist with Reishi + Ashwagandha I have a lot of face mists that I filter between, but this YTTP Adaptogen Mist is my current favorite/go-to. This one is very hydrating and soothing and gives an extra layer of hydration before I go in for my hydrating mask. Because hydrating masks usually form an occlusive later over your skin, using a mist before will give an extra boost of hydration. Step 3 – Hydrating/Soothing Mask BIODERMA - Sensibio Mask If my skin is feeling both stressed and dehydrated, I like to go for this Bioderma Mask as it is so soothing and also makes my skin feel plump. This has a super simple formulation that is fragrance free with very hydrating ingredients, so it always does the trick for my skin!
Holy Grail Cleansing Water💦💦💦
The Dr. Jart+ - Dermaclear Micro Water is second to no other cleansing/micellar waters, in my opinion. This is the only one that I have ever liked the feeling of. This product is intended to remove makeup, dirt, and other grime on your skin (without having to wash your face). This is such a powerhouse product...it’s a gentle yet effective cleansing water, and it is packed with Dead Sea salt for its antibacterial properties and coconut water for moisturizing and softening the skin. You pour some of this water onto a cotton pad and then sweep it across your face and neck to cleanse! I like using this in the morning when I don’t want to wash my face unnecessarily, or at night before I use my actual cleanser if my skin feels particularly dirty. This is the only micellar water product that I like using, as it truly refreshes my skin in the AM rather than leaving it sticky and gross. Now...$32 for micellar water is a crazy price, and I wouldn’t recommend this to a friend because you don’t need to spend that much on micellar water. BUT, as someone with very picky skin, this cleansing water makes the cut for me, and I won’t use any other. So for me, it’s a 5/5 ⭐️ rating, due to the amazing ability jt has to cleanse my skin pleasantly, but if you’re satisfied with another micellar water, this has a 3/5 ⭐️ rating and isn’t something that I think you should splurge on. Overall, this is an essential product in my skincare routine. It stays out on my dresser daily so that I can keep reaching for it. It has a light citrus scent, which is apparently new when compared to older versions, but it is great to me because I never tried the original. What’s your fav cleansing water?!

SKINFOOD - Black Sugar Perfect Cleansing Oil
This is a cleansing oil. Exactly as named, no hidden agenda, looks and feels exactly as any other cleansing oil might. Has a slight sweet smell. I have been using this product for about a year, I first purchased via a deal on Amazon. I don’t use this cleanser everyday - I save it for the days that I wear a full face of makeup and I use as the first step in my double or triple cleanse process. It is great at getting heavy makeup off, especially eyeliner or heavy eyeshadow. It is my go to makeup remover. I also use it to quickly get the makeup off of my brushes after use. The ticket on this product is a little high IMO, ranging from around $13-$17. The only reason why I don’t mind is because this pricing is for a 200 ml bottle, and it will last quite a while, in all honesty. SKINFOOD - Black Sugar Perfect Cleansing Oil

Holifrog Acid Wash
HOLI FROG - Shasta AHA Refining Acid Wash This acid wash is so gentle on the skin and exfoliates so nicely without any stinging. After the wash your face feels so fresh and it doesn’t strip away any oils from the skin. My face didn’t have any dry feeling. I love how the PH is mentioned on the bottle.

Kiehls Midnight Recovery Concentrate
Kiehl's - Midnight Recovery Concentrate From this mini bottle that is almost empty I can say I didn’t like this. It’s supposed to be an oil to replenish skin and make it radiate. It’s supposed to help with fine lines and smooth out skin. It didn’t do anything for me except irritate my already red skin. And it’s supposed to be any-skin friendly that I know of but mostly targeted at tired-looking skin. It contains essential oils (!!!) and other oils I’m not fond of. Might be my own skin but this was not my thing. I wouldn’t recommend this unless you have a strong skin barrier... but wouldn’t really recommend this to anyone. Save your money! Not worth it.

Mario Badescu was one of the first skin care brands I ever tried. Their facial sprays are honestly one of my favorite holy grails ever. This specific facial spray is the Lavender with chamomile & aloe. The sprays are used as a refreshing boost of hydration for either your face, neck, and even hair. It helps target dry skin, skin aging, and gives a radiant look. The texture is a fine, cooling mist that smells just like lavender. I’ve been using their facial sprays since I’m like 16 and I constantly repurchase it. This product is extremely hydrating and I use it to set make up but I can’t say it’s helped with any specific major skin concerns, it’s just a nice addition. I recommend this to all my friends and have gifted some sprays to my close friends! The price is amazing, for $7 you can get a large bottle that will last you months. I will forever continue buying this!!! 🌿💜MARIO BADESCU - Facial Spray with Aloe, Chamomile and Lavender Mini

philosophy - Purity Made Simple Cleanser This is one of my holy grail cleansers. It is gentle yet effective, and does in fact nicely break down makeup including eye makeup. It has a strong scent but I don’t mind it. It foams up nicely. Recommend!
