Life Is Short, Buy The Serum
Hi lovely people ! Okay so this serum is literally like a liquid filler in a serum, so needles free ,YAY. ( I have never gotten filler , but if I were to imagine a temporary filling effect agent this would be it!) The first time I tried this serum I literally flipped out the next morning, all of my fine lines were filled and vanished. I kept looking at my face in awe of how beautiful my skin appeared. I swear by all Kiehl’s Skincare products but this is my favorite. It is very oily but it absorbs in the skin gradually throughout the night. The oil is light weight and has a nice light aroma. If I can compare it to anything it would be a faint Lavendar scent. My facial skin feels like it was pumped with some type of miracle overnight. Skin is the most receptive at night time to repairing inside so that is why it is important to use all of your intense concentrates and serums overnight. The squalene in this product keeps the skin hydrated while the primrose extract promotes tightening elasticity of the skin. The Primrose flower blooms every other year so how luck are we to have such a rarity in our routine ! The name speaks for itself, kiehls is a bit more affordable than the other lines I use but it’s about the quality of the product despite price! I use this product every other night when I’m not using retinol.
Quenching My Skin Thirst
I had no idea how thirsty my skin was until I went to kiehls and got an in store facial (precovid). I started using this every day and noticing some wrinkles disappear. The smell is really lovely. It smells like lavender. It has squalane which is amazing for your skin. It is so luxurious feeling on the skin. It doesn’t feel oily at all. It is my favorite kiehls product. I actually wear it night and day because I love nourishing feeling so much! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

FAB Instant Oatmeal Mask: Honest Review
FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Instant Oatmeal Mask Oats are one of my favorite ingredients for soothing the skin. They’re gentle, provide hydration, and even help clarify the skin. This mask is meant to be left on for 10 minutes and has small bits of oats in it. After removing the mask, my skin does feel smooth and hydrated, but not nearly as much as I would hope. My comparison point is the Kiehl’s avocado mask, and while this FAB mask does hydrate my skin it doesn’t pack the punch I was hoping for. For heavier duty hydration, I’ll turn back to Kiehl’s or Naturium’s sleeping cream. I think this mask may be preferable for more oily skin types needing just a small boost for the winter or for hydration during warmer seasons when my skin isn’t so dry. As always, this mask is rosacea and sensitive skin safe. I don’t think I’ll be buying it again unless there’s another big sale (this was 40% off) during a warmer season, but I’m going to continue using this whenever I just want to add something gentle to my routine for the day! If you want an oat product from FAB, I would highly recommend their toner instead. Since incorporating the FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Wild Oat Hydrating Toner into my skincare routine, my skin has been so much more hydrated and happy. This mask is $24 whereas the toner is $22, so it’s also a little cheaper. 😉 What was your experience like with this mask? Do you have any hydrating masks to recommend for sensitive skin types?
Over-exfoliated? Redness? Soothe your skin in 10
FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Instant Oatmeal Mask I used this mask for the first time after my skin was sooo itchy from (most likely) over exfoliating. I put this on after cleansing my face and letting my skin dry. My skin DRANK this up 💦💦💦 it’s a quick 10 minute mask that helps repair + soothe the skin. Within 4 minutes most of the mask had absorbed into my skin and it felt so soothing. So I lathered on another layer, waited then rinsed this baby off. My skin felt so refreshed. The itching stopped immediately! I would recommend this to honestly any skin type, especially sensitive + eczema prone skin. It has high concentrations of colloidal oatmeal, proven to be a superhero for skin. Need some TLC for your beautiful skin?! Try it out!
bellflower Azulene Daily Calming Serum from its ingredients to the usage and consistency. Honestly, I was a bit afraid to try this product since I have no expectations. I have oily, sensitive, and acne-prone skin so I’m scared this product may cause me another breakout. The first thing that I noticed after using this serum is hydration. It immediately feels like it's added moisture to the skin and the soothing sensation is quite evident. It visibly soothes itchiness and help calm blemishes, especially useful when my skin freaked out last week. I also found that a good concentration of niacinamide (2%) contributed some detectable improvement. My skin texture has improved. In fact, I feel like it’s smoother now and so I guess the skin repair does really work. I believe using niacinamide serum consistently will refill my skin’s deficiencies and strengthen it day after day. Although, a short trial period of only few weeks makes it hard to detect improvements in skin tone and brightness anyway. I think I would recommend this Bellflower Azulene Daily Calming Serum to anyone looking for a gentle niacinamide serum. It's easy to use and oily skin will appreciate the lightweight feel. I have seen a noticeable difference in my skin and have experienced no drying or irritating effects.

LUXE mini EMPTIES - what will I purchase?
Hi everyone! Thanks for all of the support on my first week’s posts, I’ve really enjoyed making them! I wanted to switch it up from the usual super in-depth review on a single product, so here’s a few deluxe samples I’ve recently used up and my thoughts on each of them (from left to right). I know I write a lot, feel free to skip around my post if you wish! La Mer The Eye Concentrate: This product carries a HEFTY price tag so I’ll be a bit more critical than usual. It felt nice to use and I’d say I noticed a difference in smoothness and hydration as opposed to just taking my moisturizer underneath my eyes. However I didn’t notice any brightening effect (biggest concern with my under eyes) and the results I did get were pretty comparable to a normally priced eye cream. It’s a lovely cream but I just don’t think it’s worth it. Purchasing? Nope.LA MER - The Eye Concentrate Lancer Clarifying Detox Mask with Green Tea + 3% Sulfur: I wasn’t blown away by this product, but it did work. I don’t have oily skin so I can’t say whether it helps with oiliness but it did help a bit with my hormonal breakouts. I noticed it helped speed up the healing process for older break outs that were already starting to “flatten out”. I’ve used better products for treating acne before (stay tuned) but I could see how people might really like this one, especially if it’s also great at reducing oiliness. Purchasing? Probably not.LANCER - Clarifying Detox Mask with Green Tea + 3% Sulfur Saint Jane Beauty Luxury CBD Beauty Serum: YOU GUYS, I’m so sad that I’m out of this. It won’t do much for full fledged pimples, but it’ll heal all of my less severe acne so my skin is pretty clear and I only have a few little friends I have to spot treat. It’s not even targeted for acne concerns but that’s what it helps me with the most. It’s also really hydrating for my slightly dry skin and just an overall gorgeous product. More of an oil than a serum though, good to keep in mind. Purchasing? Yes but I might go for the mini size and see how long that lasts me, the price tag on the full size hurts my soul.SAINT JANE - Luxury CBD Beauty Serum Algenist Genius Collagen Calming Relief: I really enjoyed using this product too, it definitely calmed down my skin when I had some redness going on during a breakout or after a chemical peel. I would highly suggest checking this out if you have super sensitive skin. It’s a cream texture so I would usually use this in place of my moisturizer since it’s pretty moisturizing as well. I really have nothing bad to say about it it’s just that I have so many creams I’m working through right now, but I’m always happy to have a soothing product on hand that works well so I might pick it up eventually anyway. Purchasing? Possibly soon.ALGENIST - Genius Collagen Calming Relief

#NOMAKEUPMAKEUP - Two of my favorite “No Makeup, Makeup Products” for flawless skin this summer have been this duo from Dr Jart+. To reduce redness and give a natural blur effect I like to mix a few drops of the Cicapair™ Tiger Grass Camo Drops (an ultra-lightweight revitalizing serum and color corrector in one) with the lightweight, perfect for summer V7™ Priming Moisturizer (a multi-tasking, vitamin-infused priming moisturizer that visibly evens out the complexion and noticeably blurs the look of pores and imperfections). You can either stop here and move on to your SPF or for a bit more of a finished look layer with your BB/CC cream of choice. The priming aspect allows for a flawless and super natural application that stays put! While I am a fan of the V7™ Priming Moisturizer under makeup, I HIGHLY recommend the Camo Drops to ANYONE that is prone to redness or has easily sensitized skin. It contains Centella Asiatica Extract which helps to soothe irritated skin sensitized by makeup application and external stressors, as well as an antioxidant Green Energy Complex, including Chlorophyll, that energizes fatigued skin and protects from environmental damage. This green-to-beige serum/camouflage formula corrects redness and revitalizes dull skin tone as its soft, watery texture quickly penetrates skin’s surface to ignite your complexion. Skin appears to glow from within! Not pictured but also a fave is the Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment w/ SPF30. A Cocktail of Retinol And Peptides For A Plump, More Youthful, Acne-Free Skin
Retinol is such a star ingredient as it slows down the natural aging process of our skin, it brightens dull skin, it’s amazing in treating acne, and it helps in the treatment of hyperpigmentation. No wonder why we’ve been seeing tons of skincare products being formulated with retinol in them. Since retinol is fantastic in helping our cells regenerate to maintain that youthful glow, I thought how amazing would that be if it’s paired with other ingredients that also assist in building collagen and elastin. If you’re not aware, collagen and elastin are two protein types that make our skin plump and hydrated. By the time we hit our mid 30s, our bodies start to slow down the process of developing these. Upon reading through Paula’s Choice website, I learned that peptides aren’t enough if we want to achieve smoother, softer, more even skin texture. So, I paired it with retinol. And as expected, my dry combination skin loves it. The products I use are Cerave skin renewing retinol serum as it’s really gentle to my sensitive skin, followed by this firming sleeping mask from Laneige, which is rich in peptides. The Laneige sleeping mask is a good moisture-locking product to layer in on top of the retinol serum. Try it for yourself! 💛BEST HYALURONIC ACID SERUM EVER! 🧡💙
Myth: Only dry skin can be dehydrated. Wrong! Normal and oily skin can be dehydrated as well. Dehydrated skin is skin that lacks water content, while dryness refers to skin that lacks oil . In fact, oily skin tends to overproduce oil to compensate for the lack of water. This can lead to breakouts and enlarged pores. Other signs of dehydration include tightness, fine lines, dullness, and increased sensitivity. 💛Let’s Talk Hyaluronic Acid🧡💙 Hyalruonic Acid is one of the best answers for dehydrated skin. It’s a humectant, an ingredient that binds to moisture. It has the ability to hold 1,000 times its weight in water! This results in hydrated, soft, plump skin! HADALABO - Gokujyun Premium Lotion contains FIVE types of hyaluronic acid as well as sacaran algae known for its moisturizing properties. Hello hydration! 💦 💛Review🧡💙 (Swipe to see texture pic) This product is a serum with a thick milky consistency. It’s formulated WITHOUT fragrance, dye, or mineral oil.Since this product is a humectant, it’s best to use this product when the skin is wet. I currently use this at night. After I cleanse my skin, I immediately put this on and tap it into my skin. After it fully absorbs, I follow up with my moisturizer. This J-product product beats all of the overpriced HA serums in Sephora! Not only does it keep my skin hydrated, soft and plump for hours, but within 10-15 minutes of usage, the appearance of my enlarged pores are gone! This will also be a lifesaver when my skin becomes dry and sensitive during winter. This is a new constant in my routine. I got mine in an Asian beauty store but you can find the product on Amazon and YesStyle! It’s only 15 dollars!! Can’t wait to try more products from this brand! Happy Hydration! 💦

One of my favourite serums
I received a sample of the Shiseido ultimune in a gift with purchase, and gave it a try. I was so surprised as to how well it worked for my skin (sensitive, dry combination), I had to purchase the full size! This serum claims to strengthen your skin barrier over time making your skin appear youthful and glowy. My skin concerns prior to using this serum were some hyperpigmentation on some acne scars and dullness. When I started using this serum, I have noticed my face have appeared a lot more even, my skin texture has improved and it just looks super healthy! The texture of this product is a clear lightweight gel! It’s a little bit sticky, but it goes away. There is fragrance in this product - I do tend to stay away from fragranced products due to my sensitive skin, but I had no reaction to it. Just be aware. This product is very pricey, retailing at about $90CAD for 1oz. However, I believe in taking care of your skin and investing in skincare so I believe it is worth the price as it did wonders for my skin. I would recommend you guys to try out a sample first! Before committing to the full size, in case it does not work out on your skin as everyone has different skin types! I would have to give this product 5 stars!
