My Quarantine Skin Transformation
The first picture was taken March 20 and the second was just yesterday. I’m honestly shook to be honest. My skin was scaley and dry. I had no routine. I had lost all of my skincare stuff and was washing my face with water and would use rosehip oil to moisturize. Then I used the MARIO BADESCU - Peptide Renewal Serumand my skin WENT CRAZY. Bumps EVERYWHERE. Skin going insane. My skin has never looked like this. Then I finally got some money to buy some skincare stuff and this is what I’ve got:
Oil Cleanser : KOSE COSMEPORT - SOFTYMO Speedy Cleansing Oil- I don’t know if this is working yet. It takes off makeup. I’m terrified of oil on my face but it’s not done bad yet. I did break out a little bit after I started using it but it could be purging. I use this every night and morning for 60 seconds on dry skin.
Foaming Cleanser: CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin- I like this. It’s not drying I feel clean and my face feels good after wards. I use this right after oil cleansing.
Toner: THAYERS - Witch Hazel AstringentI use this one in Aloe. OK SO I KNOWWW THAT PEOPLE DONT LIKE THIS. But it really changed my face. Before using it, my face was really bumpy even thought I was cleaning and moisturizing and exfoliating but this really soothed my skin and made everything go on better. I use this around my neck area too because it’s dark.
Exfloliator: Glossier. - Solution Exfoliating Skin PerfectorThis helped my skin like get rid of bumps and dryness but it also makes my skin red which I don’t like. But for now Im using it. I would recommend this to start off your exfoliating journey.
MOISTURIZER: Glossier. - Priming Moisturizer Rich Luxurious Face CreamI like this. It saved my dry skin it really hydrates and it’s not annoying. When you use it after the solution it does burn a bit. Just a warning but i really like this.
SPF: Glossier. - Invisible Shield Daily SunscreenAnother glossier product. This isn’t sponsored I just did a big order. This is nice it’s a gel consistency which i genuinely love. And it’s been helping my dark spots according to cherie heheANYWAYS my skin is doing a LOT better but there are still problems with it. I have pimples. LOTS of blackheads. large pores. Hopefully with time I can correct those. Anyways till next time 😜

herecomesthesunnygrlYou look so happy in your second photo! Although... something that would really help is to steer away from brands like mario badescu and glossier. They formulate with sooooo much fragrance which might be part of the reason you skin is red. I had awful acne for years and just by removing fragrance and alcohol from my routine I changed my skin. PS. Beware of perfume on your face! -Naomi

CreamcaramelleHi Naomi! I used to work for Glossier and I can tell you that the fragrance is not really used in products. In this skincare routine, only the Solution as fragrance and it is at the bottom of the ingredients list! I would success to actually research about ingredients in skincare with the INCI Decoder website and the ingredient dictionary from Paula’s Choice so you can learn more about what fragrance is! Hope it helps :)

Since my last post my routine has been all over the place. Cleansers: CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin3 times a week PanOxyl - Acne Foaming Wash Benzoyl Peroxide 10% Maximum Strength4 times a week Treatment: 0.0025% tretinoin 3 times a week. I use after the CeraVe Krave - Great Barrier Relief my skin was struggling in Dec so I purchased this in order to heal my moisture barrier, which was damaged. My skin is now doing better and am back on using my stronger treatments and products above. Moisturizer: FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream SPF: CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 Along with everything I have been on 100mg of Spironolactone since Jan 8th. I do believe my skin is flaring up because of it and it will until my body adjusts to it. I am having a hard time handling the hyperpigmentation on my face from last acne, or so I believe it’s hyperpigmentation. I know there is light at the end of the tunnel. I have been on spiro in the past and it did wonders for my skin, so I look forward to this journey. Will post updates as I see improvements or needed!
My P.M Skincare routine
It took me about a year to formulate and create a skin care routine that catered to my own skin perfectly. I must say, I have come a long way from using witch hazel and apricot scrubs and figured out what my skin needs. It’s amazing progress. Hopefully this year I will incorporate a retinol into my routine.

rosacea/acne Before (1,2) and after (3,4)!
and this is close to my period as well, the last 2 pictures. I was frustrated beyond belief since the beginning of the pandemic, and would have nothing but stubborn and painful rashes underneath my nose. I felt like there was no hope for my adult acne, and finally I saw a dermatologist. It's not perfect, but well on its way. I can't say enough things about the sulfur shampoo. a couple of them are medicated, but the sulfur soap is from Amazon. are there any other products people recommend for rosacea/malar rash and dry skin? Am I just imagining things and my skin actually isn't better and I just think it is?! let me know. I'm so much happier with my skin, now!! I also use plain organic honey as a mask on my face as a natural antiseptic. Works BEAUTIFULLY! now, the things listed below are a mixture of prescription, everyday, and once in a while. ☀️☀️We hate Suncream yet we are hopeless without it☀️☀️ UNPROTECTED SUN exposure is the number-one cause of two things most of us would rather avoid: skin cancer and premature aging. And yet, the people who neglect daily sunscreen are swift to offer up justifications, chief among them: “I just don’t like the way it feels” Widespread sunscreen aversion has led many brands to bridge the sunscreen and skin care categories, creating lightweight everyday facial formulas that incorporate antiaging and antioxidant ingredients, boast a more appealing texture (sheer! weightless!), and provide imperfection-blurring technology. But with hundreds to choose from, how do you find one that inspires devotion? My solution: Test 50 top formulas As for my personal issues with sunscreen engagement: I have a dusky complexion and very sensitive skin, ergo, my skin gets pigmentation easily; A facial sunscreen that doesn’t upset my sensitive skin’s fine balance can seem like a unicorn. I prefer moisturizing formulas with dewier results; matte finishes tend to magnify fine lines, I’ve found. I want a sunscreen that neither feels heavy on my face nor is detectable by anyone else. My ideal formula must also play well with any makeup I use: I’ve learned, for instance, that the white cast of classic zinc formulas plus blush can leave me looking very mime-y. And last, but certainly not least, it must be fragrance-free or at least scented to a barely discernible degree. Fragrance can be a sneaky skin irritant, and I would rather my face didn’t smell like cloying coconuts or shampoo. I dutifully tested a massive pile of sunscreens of every creed with all the aforementioned criteria in mind. It’s true that you won’t like using sunscreen until you find sunscreen you like using. Current night routine 🌙
I wanted to share my current night routine for my skin, starting with when I shower, because it's really been working for me: 1. In the shower, I use a half pump of YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser to tighten pores, get rid of any gunk on my face, and to brighten. 2. After I'm done showering, my blood pressure tends to go up because of circulation improving, so I get in my pajamas and apply Glossier. - Super Pure Niacinamide + Zinc Serum to calm any redness. Then I brush my teeth. 3. Next, I spray a little bit of Avène - Thermal Spring Water Spray all over and roll my face using my SEPHORA COLLECTION - Rose Quartz Facial Roller 4. I roll my face using the wide end, starting with my left cheekbone and go to the jawline while going in lines/diagonals on my cheeks. Then I do my forehead by going horizontally - the top first and moving down, focusing on my brow bones (bc of sinuses, same with cheekbones and undereyes), next is the right cheek same as the left, then chin, sides of nose & undereyes w/ small end, and I finish by going in lines like a fern - but the branches/stems, not the little leaves. starting in one spot, going out, and coming back but going to different spots each time until I get that area covered - I make 5 lines on both cheeks and forehead using this method. It's difficult to describe tbh - center between my eyes / middle of brow, for cheeks its by my ear opening) 5. After my face is all cooled off, I put on a dime-sized amount of either Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cream or Glossier. - Priming Moisturizer Rich Luxurious Face Cream and lather it all over onto my face and neck. 6. Don't forget your lips! I use either my birthday, coconut, or my recent fave - the fig Glossier. - Balm Dotcom 7. The last step is to spray some more of my Avène - Thermal Spring Water Spray but I also have two other sprays - YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Adaptogen Soothe + Hydrate Activated Mist with Reishi + Ashwagandhaand TATCHA - Luminous Dewy Skin Mist Thx for reading ! 😊
Full Glossier Look
I proclaim myself a Glossier ambassador because it’s the only brand I use for makeup looks other than my new Kat Von D lip liner and my trusty L’Oreal Paris Infallible Eyeliner. I made this a Reel on my Instagram if you want to check it out, but these are the products I used✨ (I have acne and none of these products have exacerbated it, thank goodness. I don’t use their foundation anymore because my skin doesn’t agree with anything foundation lol). Glossier. - Glossier. Lip Gloss It’s not my favorite lipgloss because it’s too thick and sticky, but I like the shine it gives especially when I want a glow. Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid I bought this serum a couple months ago and I’m not mad at it. It gives a subtle glow unlike my Becca Cosmetics compact, but it does the job. I apply it with my hands and in a few minutes I’m all set...to sit at home and work from my bed lol. Glossier. - Cloud Paint Duo I used the shade “Storm” and I like that it’s a deeper tone. It shows up on my skin tone and gives me a slight flushed look which is what a good blush should do, in my opinion. I’ve used it a little on my lips too just for a pop of color and right now this is my favorite product from Glossier Glossier. - Priming Moisturizer Rich Luxurious Face Cream I’ll always give this moisturizer love. It gets rid of my dry flaky skin and because it’s thick it keeps my skin hydrated for quite some time.

Top 2020 Skincare: 1st Cleanse
I saw this happening on Insta and thought it would be fun to participate on Cherie! This month I’ll be posting my top 2020 skincare essentials in accordance to the schedule on the 2nd pic, so follow me if you want to see all my faves of this year! Up first- FIRST CLEANSERS! 🍬KOSE COSMEPORT - SOFTYMO Speedy Cleansing Oil I didn’t start double cleansing until this year, so technically it’s the only oil cleanser I’ve used, but I do really enjoy it! This was one of the very few that ticked all my boxes (fragrance-free, accesible, cheap) and it certainly gets the job done while rinsing off easily. Next I want to try out the - Softymo Deep Cleansing Oilsince I found it at a local Japanese grocery store :)
Winter Routine for DRY Skin
My cheeks have been SO dry lately. It’s been a struggle to keep my sensitive combo skin hydrated with the change in weather. I’ve thus made a couple swaps from my summer routine to keep my skin moisturized and not flakey. 🌬I swapped my trusty jojoba oil in the morning for a light application of Dr. Jart+ - Ceramidin Cream (I use about half the amount I use at night- just enough to get an even layer) 🌬I went back the old CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser from their new CeraVe - Hydrating Cream-To-Foam Cleanser . Although I like the new version better, I just need every scrap of hydration I can get right now. 🌬Lastly, I recently started applying a thin layer of Aquaphor - Aquaphor Healing Ointment over my cheeks at night (post on this coming soon!) In short, my routine is now: 🌤 rinse, hydrating toner, moisturizer, spf 🌙 double cleanse, moisturizer*, ointment as needed *I swap my Ceramidin for MAELOVE - Night Renewer 2x / week

december challenge 7-10
Ok I've been catching up and I know it's the 19th now so I'm going to post the other ones soon! day 7: favorite exfoliator Glossier. - Solution Exfoliating Skin Perfector day 8: favorite retinoid - I currently don't have any products that are retinoids or retinols so I don't have a favorite one. day 9: multitasking product Glossier. - Balm Dotcom in original, I use it on my chapped nose when I have a cold, on dry skin, and on my lips. My favorites are birthday and coconut. day 10: SOS product My interpretation is that it SOS in this case means maybe the one product you'd use by itself or if you could pick one on an island or something? SOS means help me / save us so the interpretation is up in the air. I'm going to say that mine is the Glossier. - Priming Moisturizer Rich Luxurious Face Cream because if I only had one face product it would be this one
My go to exfoliator
Glossier has a really nice range of products that are designed to maintain a stable complexion. Package: The packaging of this product really appeals to me from the millennial pink to the convenient pump dispenser. Texture: This is very easy to apply as it is a watery consistency. I love applying it with a reusable cotton pad. Price: This is a very affordable at $29 CAD and it will last months Glossier. - Solution Exfoliating Skin Perfector I gave this product 4 stars as I found it stung for the first few uses . However once my skin got used to it I saw great results and it has become my go to winter exfoliator.

I got an allergic reaction to my entire routine!
So 2 years ago I woke up with my entire face swollen, red and dry. I had nothing else on my body so it had to be due to something in my face skincare routine. After going to the doctor and getting a steroid shot, I was advised by the allergist to patch test all the products i was using. The result: I WAS ALLERGIC TO ALL OF THEM This was especially weird because I had been using some of these products for over 2 years, but apparently it’s called contact dermatitis. These were the products I used: LA ROCHE-POSAY - Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel -this one was recommended to me by my dermatologist. I don’t know that it was anything specifically about this cleanser that made me have the reaction but it was just too strong for my sensitive skin THAYERS - Witch Hazel Astringent - my theory is that this caused my reaction, because I had only been using it for 2 days before I woke up looking like a monster lol. it's still weird that it made me sensitive to my other products as well. Now I know that witch hazel is extremely sensitizing and will never use it again. CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream - I don’t see anything wrong with this product in terms of ingredients, but i tried it again recently and got a similar reaction, so I guess it’s just not for me Now it’s been 2 years since all of this happened, and I was slowly able to build up a routine that isn’t sensitizing to my already sensitive skin (check out my last post to see it!) Let mw know if you have any questions/comments/feedback :)
PLEASE HELP ❗️❗️❗️❗️
Recently, I have been experiencing terrible breakouts around my cheek, ear and jawline area. They are super painful and when they heal they leave behind terrible dark spots. This has taken a serious toll on my mental health and self esteem. If there is any products, diet of habits that you recommend for my struggle with acne please let me know. Thank you! These are the products I use in the Am: PLANTS FOR SKIN - African Black Soap Face and Body Bar THAYERS - Witch Hazel Astringent CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 Pm routine: PanOxyl - Acne Foaming Wash Benzoyl Peroxide 10% Maximum Strength THAYERS - Witch Hazel Astringent Cetaphil - Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream My exfoliants: TATCHA - The Rice Polish Foaming Enzyme Powder THE BODY SHOP - Vitamin C Glow-Revealing Liquid Peel Products I used in the past (that didn’t work) CeraVe - SA Smoothing Cleanser CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser bliss - Glow & Hydrate Day Serum bliss - Renew & Smooth Night Serum The Ordinary - Alpha Lipoic Acid 5%
Best Acne Nighttime Treatment (non-fungal)
Okay so I’ve posted results of my use of Differin Gel & now I’m going to post my usual routine. (When I’m not wearing makeup). My skin is so weird now since I started using Differin Gel (I went from extreme oily to more combo/oily). Step 1 cleanser CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser I use this when my skin is dry from the day. If I used a mask earlier or a scrub this usually happens. I also like this because I find that adding that extra moisture is important to prep for the Differin gel -or- LA ROCHE-POSAY - Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel Cleanser for Oily Skin I use this of my skin is extra oily from the day. It’s for oily sensitive skin . Sometimes when I go outside with my heavier sunscreen it leaves that annoying oily feel at the end of the day (especially in my t-zone). This cleanser is amazing. I bought the travel size because it was first time trying it but I’ll definitely get the biggest size when I run out! Step 2- I left out my toner because I threw away my Kiehl's - Cucumber Herbal Alcohol-Free Toner after doing more research into the ingredients & ordered my regular toners I used to use. Step 3 Treat: Serum: The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% this is great for my pores and acne breakout I already have. I know it’s totes for oil control to, but I use it all over my face. *Actives* DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel this is my HG acne treatment. I’ve been using religiously it & now I need to buy a new! (I have a lost how to apply correctly). BURT’S BEES - Natural Acne Solutions Maximum Strength Spot Treatment Cream **NEVER USE THIS THE SAME NIGHT AS DIFFERIN GEL!** I use this if I get a really bad spot that I want gone by the morning. It’s the highest concentration of salicylic acid you can get over the counter & it has willow bark (a great pair for salicylic acid). I love a majority of Burt’s bees products due to the high natural ingredients. BURT’S BEES - Renewal Smoothing Eye Cream I did a previous post about using this & how its a effective retinol alternative. I have sensitive under eyes and don’t like to put too many harsh ingredients. This works great for my fine lines. Step 4 moisturize: CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion I love this moisturizer. It’s not too heavy but just enough ingredients to be effective. It has that extra added niacinamide I need fr my pores & it doesn’t clog my pores at all! WELEDA - Skin Food Original Ultra-Rich Cream I only use this if my skin is extra dry. This will replace my CeraVe (don’t want too much moisture). A little of this goes a long way! I use like two pea-size dots and it covers my entire face dr. brandt - Hydro Biotic Recovery Sleeping Mask after my moisturizer. I love how this replenishes my moisture. I use this mask 2 times a week.

Needing some advice on which products I should use for dark spots and minmizing pores! I have oily and acne prone skin My current routine is... CeraVe - Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal Skin THAYERS - Rose Petal Facial Mist Curology - Curology formula Curology - The Moisturizer The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% pixi - Vitamin-C Serum (only use once in a while) ORIGINS - Super Spot Remover Acne Treatment Gel (only when needed) please help😊😊
First Skin Update!
Here’s a no make-up selfie for the record! I just started to change my skin routine a couple of days ago so there’s not a ton of difference to see yet. Mostly a lot of the inflammation and redness has been majorly calmed down, thanks to The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% and skipping the harsh physical exfoliants I used to use. My main concern is healing acne, decongesting my skin and pores, and repairing and protecting from further damage. As my skin is very sensitive, calming and non-irritating products are a must! I’m hoping to see overall less redness and swelling as I change my skin routine. Products currently in my routine: 🌿 CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin 🌿 BIODERMA - Sensibio H2O Soothing Micellar Cleansing Water 🌱 The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% 🌱 THE inkey LIST - Q10 Antioxidant Serum 💦 THE inkey LIST - Multi-Biotic 💦 CLINIQUE - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ 🌞 Avène - Mineral Sunscreen Fluid SPF 50+ There are a few other serums and masks I have but I’m trying not to use anything for a few days while my skin gets used to the new things I’ve added, just in case any irritation develops. I’ll be sure to make updates on how some of these have been working, and which ones I’ll be phasing out. Let me know in the comments if you’ve tried any of these products, or if you have some recommendations for others! 🖤⛓🌿
CLINIQUE-Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+
The difference no products can make!
These progress photos are hard to share. But I want to help anyone going through a similar situation :') The photos are 2 years apart for reference, and the second photo is the last of my purged whiteheads. Finally! But my cystic acne was once unbearable, so painful, mentally exhausting, and I even had nodules that would reside deep in my face rent-free only to cause commotion months later. (I tried to evict them...maybe too harshly. Plz don't pick your skin! Especially the nose! Grrr broken capillaries :/ ) I went through so many products- just name it and i've probably tried it. I scoured the internet in search of a holy grail that would save my skin. But to no avail. Here's what I did try (but not limited to): • Oil cleansing (then cleansing off with a water/soap cleanser) • Double cleansing (tried various cleansers, and I have combo skin!) • Retinol moisturizers • Rosehip oil • SA/BHA cleanser 2x / week • Facemask every night for 2 weeks (omg plz don't do this unless you want fungal acne on oily/combo skin...ya that = buying more Nizarol shampoo) • Moisturizing serums • Scrub exfoliaters • Milk cleansers ( I tried most for a month or longer ) NOTHING WORKED. Until....I stopped washing my face with any products completely. Yes I know I was shocked too. I stopped using products all together for the last 4 weeks except for just water in the evening, and my skin hasn't been THIS SUPPLE since EVEN BEFORE high school! High school me is envious lol. The way my skin has been naturally purging and ridding itself of all the dead layers of skin (probably like 50 layers) is a miracle! I can't explain it other than it's similar to the Caveman Regimen where you fix your acid mantle by letting it self-regenerate after 29 days :) (but for my combo skin I do require some water.) As a test: For my forehead I began slowly reintroducing minimal gentle products and it's been amazing! Not a single breakout! AM: Cleanser: water :) Moisturizer: FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Face Moisturizer T-zone serum: The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% PM: Micellar water: Lise Watier - Supreme Micellar (5/5!) Cleanser: CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser Moisturizer + serum: same as AM. ~ So if you're like me and you've desperately tried everything under the sun (EVEN DIETING yes i've done keto 2 times / low carb twice as well) and found little results? This may work for you. What have you got to lose right? I know it's surprisingly effective for lots of people. My skin . is . finally . able . to . breathe. Perhaps yours will too ♥️

New to skincare and looking for suggestions
Hi all. I'm relatively new to this whole properly taking care of my skin thing. I have combination skin, uneven skin tone, large pores and redness/discolouration. I've recently incorporated these products: Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Gel-Creami think i'm going to switch this out to the regular skin, as i'm finding it really makes my face oily. I do, however, need the moisturizer mostly around/on my nose. Or for when my pimples dry out. C&C by Clean & Clear - Persa-Gel 10, Maximum Strengthuse this mostly as a spot treatment. It dries my skin out a little bit, but i find it really helps flatten my pimples pretty quickly. I've only been using this product for a few days. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%literally just started using this today. As you can tell, i have MASSIVE pores. I have for as long as i can remember. Lately, it's really bothering me that my makeup sinks into my pores. I got a new pore primer today though and, so far, I'm impressed! Neutrogena - Pore Refining Cleanseronly been using this one for a few days. So far i'm pretty happy with it! Feels great on my skin and the scrub has been helping remove dry skin. I have also started using a salicylic acid acne treatment, for Clean & Clear. It's supposed to help remove blackheads. I have always been very nervous to use toners as I had bad luck with the Pro Activ system as a teen. This dries my skin out a bit, but i do find it helps reduce the oiliness throughout the day, especially at work when I have a full face of makeup on. I'm trying to give my skin as much of a break as possible when I'm not at work. I wake up really oily no matter what, but I'm wondering if this is just a regular thing for people? I hate it lmao I'm extremely self concious about my skin. I hate it and I have since i first got acne at age 10. It was so bad, I'm pretty sure my pores are also so big because they're probably partially acne scars. Any suggestions would be great!! I find my skin is a little sensitive, but i'm quickly getting used to the burning of the toner lol Thanks in advance :)
Neutrogena-Hydro Boost Gel-Cream
My daily skincare routine!
My favorite aspect of hygiene is skincare. I’ve become a bit obsessed with it for over the last year because I’m still trying to learn what works for me and what doesn’t. I am a teenager with skin that is sometimes dry combination and sometimes oily combination and while I don’t get acne that often, when I do I’m usually left with acne scars, whether I pop my pimple or not 🙃 So here’s my ratings on my skincare routine!!! Am routine; I start by oil cleansing my face with organic coconut oil, which is what is in the orange pill bottle (gotta reuse where you can LMAO) I then use Aveeno - Ultra-Calming Foaming Cleanser which I really enjoy because it doesn’t strip my face and make it feel tight or anything (it’s also fun to use because yk...it’s foam 😭) after cleansing I use Queen Helene - 100% Cocoa Butter, Stick because I’ve been using it to treat the tricky dark spots I’ve accumulated from acne and I’ve been using it ever since I became a teenager I then use the e.l.f. - Daily Hydration Moisturizer because it is lightweight but really moisturizing and it doesn’t make me look incredibly shiny finally I use Neutrogena - Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF30 I use the spf 85+ one because it’s summer and almost days I am outside for some reason or another. Spf in the black community is sometimes seen as silly when it’s applied everyday (my mom thinks I’m crazy for using it on a daily basis) but I know that it’s good for you and it’s helped with my dark spots Pm routine; I start off with my organic coconut oil again because most days I have on at least mascara so I need to get my makeup off I then use Aveeno - CLEAR COMPLEXION Cream Face Cleanser With Salicylic Acid and I like it a good amount although I thought I’d see bigger results but I’m sure I have to just keep using it. I’m not the biggest fan of salicylic acid and for a really long time I avoided it because it can be so drying but since it’s summer my skin gets really oily and my little light cleansers can’t stand on their own to battle my oil and acne. I’ve had a pretty good experience with this cleanser though, it isn’t drying at all and it’s really refreshing, I just took off a star because I want to get to use it more to see how it works for me on regular nights that aren’t exfoliation nights I use The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% and on exfoliation nights (Sunday’s and Wednesday’s ofc) I use The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution (which is in the rad dispenser bottle with the blue top). I enjoy both of the products and I can really see the difference when I don’t exfoliate with the glycolic acid vs when I do. after treating my skin I go in with my coco butter again finally I use THE inkey LIST - Vitamin B, C, and E Moisturizer
