Hair dye aftercare (avoid frying out texture!)
I have dyed my hair more than 15 times in the last 5 years. After being fed up with fried, frizzy, straight hair, i began looking into products that would maintain my hairs natural volume and waves. I have been using these 3 products for the past 10 months and dyed my hair 4 times within those months. My hair has remained healthy and has minimal breakage. I especially love the pura d'or - Castor Oil Includes Bonus Brush Kit 100% Pure USDA Organic

i’ve been using castor oil for one month on my lashes, I’m definitely seeing a difference not in length but thickness. pura d'or - Castor Oil Includes Bonus Brush Kit 100% Pure USDA Organic
✨HAIR ROUTINE for More Lively Curls
If you swipe you will see what my hair looks like when it dries naturally vs. after styling it! I recently cut like 10 inches off of my hair, and the stylist did a terrible job. and gave me crazy layers that I didn’t want, and my natural tight waves/loose curls went with it :( But this is what I do to get my desired curly look to hide the layers and avoid using hot tools. It works best when your hair is super wet/straight out of the shower. 1. drybar - Prep Rally Prime & Prep Detangler Give your hair a quick spritz of this for a shiny and healthy look while also helping you detangling it! I gave it 4/5 stars because I love the product but it has a very strong scent that I am not a fan of (floral + chemical) so if you are sensitive to smells I wouldn’t recommend it. 2. AVEDA - Damage Remedy Intensive Restructuring Treatment Rub a dime-sized amount all over your hair and comb and through it to distribute the two products evenly. I also love this and think it keeps my hair super healthy and prevents split ends...but I also gave it 4/5 stars for the same reason above. Strong floral/chemical scent! This one is not as strong as Prep Rally but its definitely still there. 3. NOT YOUR MOTHER'S - Curl Talk Defining Cream Its very inexpensive and it does a great job at giving me more defined curls. For this step I rub a quarter sized amount evenly through my hair, and then use another quarter sized amount while my head is flipped over and I scrunch my curls with the remaining product. 4. PANTENE - Curl Scrunching Spray Gel With your head right side up again, spray your curls generously on top and bottom while its in the right position/parted in the way you like. Scrunch it some more if there are any strands that need some more bounce. This product is my HOLY GRAIL! Also super inexpensive and it not only holds my curls in place ALL DAY but it also gives them extra definition at the same time. Keep in mind if you use too much in one area it WILL get crunchy but lighter use will keep it soft. (The picture that comes up when you click it on this app isnt correct - its in a spray bottle) 5. ogx - Hydrate + Marula Oil Shampoo, Elixir Serum Once its all dry I lightly run this over the top of my ends to tame any frizz that came out while drying. This oil does its job but its not my absolute favorite, mostly because its very very thin in consistency so I don’t think the eye dropper it comes with is the best method to distribute it, I would have preferred it to be thicker or just in a spray bottle.
Aveda- Damage Remedy. Saves dry hair!!
This is another hair product that I attribute to saving my dry brittle hair! I received this Aveda Damage Remedy leave in conditioner in a Fab Fit Fun box! I apply this product to my damp hair after a shower from roots to ends. I brush it through and blow dry my hair! It really nourishes my hair but also helps revive my dull color. I love this! It is definitely worth it and I highly recommend it! There is a lot of product inside the packaging and since I have thin hair I do not need a ton of product to coat my hair! I highly recommend this if you are looking for a leave in conditioner!
How I style my 3a curls🧴🚿✨
1. Shower I use PANTENE - Pro-V Curl Perfection Shampoo and PANTENE - Curl Perfection Conditioner , and they seem to work really well on my hair. They helped me gain a lot of my moisture back after not taking proper care of my hair for a long time. 2. Right after my shower, I wring my hair out a few times. Then I spray in PANTENE - Pro-V Nutrient Boost Damage Resisting Detangler Repair & Protect Conditioning Mist . I love this because it helps keep my curls hydrated for a long time. I spray this in and comb my hair with a wide tooth comb to get any knots out. 3. Next I scrunch in PANTENE - Pro-V Curl Non-Sticky Formula for Soft and Springy Curls Sculpting Gel . This is the best gel I’ve tried so far. I highly recommend this because it has improved the overall quality of my hair, but mostly it defines my curls very well. It isn’t crunchy and it lasts for at least 72 hours if you take care of your hair. 4. I plop my hair for anywhere between 30 minutes and 1 hour(based off of how much time I have to get ready). To do this, I have an oversized 100% cotton T-shirt and I wrap my hair in this. This makes my curls springy and helps them stay put long enough to diffuse my hair. 5. Last, I diffuse my hair using REVLON - Perfect Heat Volumizing Turbo Hair Dryer 1875 Watt . It comes with a detachable diffuser. I use this on warm high heat. To dry my hair, I flip my hair upside down and take a small section and place it over the diffuser head, and bring the diffuser up to my scalp, but not directly touching it. I leave it for 10-20 seconds before moving on to the next section. I repeat this until my hair is close to being dry, but not completely dry, because I let it air dry fro the rest of the time. I hope this helps anyone looking for a simple routine. I know I am probably missing things that I should be doing, but I am only 14 and am still learning what is best for my hair. If you have any questions or suggestions, please comment below. Thank you❤️
These are the products I love for my wavy hair!
Giovanni's mousse is the best I could find for my hair. It perfectly defines my curls and hydrates them well. Pantene gel is great for supercharged days! Just put a little bit on and voila ready for the whole day. Garnier hair mask I use it as a cream and in my case it has worked perfectly. And the smell is incredible, I love putting it on. Lus all-in-one is a Canadian product, which I love because it's what I do my hair with every day. And the good thing is that it's 100% organic.
Curly Hair - Deep Conditioner
Deep conditioning is absolutely essential for curly hair in my opinion! Of course they add moisture back to the hair, which for curly hair is extremely important, but they can add strength back into it too! I deep condition my hair at least once a week, usually using my Camille Rose - Oud Rich Infusion Moisture Treatment because my curls are usually super thirsty, but once a month I like to use a protein treatment and a cholestol treatment. The Camille Rose - Buritti Nectar Repair Cholesterol Treatment is Camille Rose's updated take on a cholestol treatment. It has buritti fruit oil which is high in Omega 3, 6 and 9. It will repair dry and brittle hair. If your looking to add softness back into your curls then a cholestol treatment is what you need! If you have damaged and split hair then you should add a protein treatment to your hair care routine! The Camille Rose - Nangai & Tsubaki Strength Restore Protein Treatment is my favorite and won't leave your hair feeling dry or straw like. It's a mix of vitamin A, E and Beta Carotene. It leaves my hair stronger and smoother. I'd love to know what your favorite deep conditioners are! Let me know in the comments! Another favorite of mine is the Briogeo - Don't Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Hair Mask .

Width Matters Too!!! Determine Your Hair Strand Type
Most of us can tell without thinking how to categorise our own hair by its density and choose haircare products accordingly, whereas few pay as much attention to hair width. Hair width matters too, however, because it says about what your hair requires and rejects. What is hair width and how to determine your type Hair width, also known as hair texture, refers to the diameter of each strand of hair. It can change over time due to lots of factors. You can easily determine if you have fine, medium or coarse hair by taking a single hair in between your fingers to feel its weight (the more you can feel it, the coarser it is). Or, you can compare it with a sewing thread. If your hair is the same width as the thread, it has medium texture. I discovered I had medium-width, not coarse hair only after a thread test, and this explains why many products I tried before designed for coarse hair didn’t quite work well for me. Actually, a big concern for people with medium-width hair is that it’s hard to find a product designed specially for us. Product makers usually cater to fine hair or coarse hair because their problems seem more obvious. Therefore, it’s on us to find out what our hair likes. Tips for taking care of medium-width hair Use a hair turban. Base on my experience, my hair doesn’t dry as quickly as my mum’s fine hair. It can be tiring to hold a blow-dryer for 15 minutes, but walking around with wet hair is just as annoying. So I recommend using a hair turban - I’ve been using a Soap & Glory Hair Turban for two years and it saves me so much trouble! In addition to its cute look, lightweight and durability, I like the microfibres it’s made of that help to fast dry my hair without the damaging friction caused by a normal towel. My hair is almost dry after 20 minutes of wearing it, and looks smoother than when dried with a normal towel. Avoid overheating your hair. Medium-width hair is not as strong as coarse hair so breakage prevention is necessary. Hair turbans can help with that too. To reduce damage caused by overheating from a blow dryer or straightener, I usually put my turban on, continue to do my beauty routine until my hair is roughly 80% dry, then blow-dry it or style it very quickly. Change products regularly. Fine hair responds better to lightweight treatments and coarse hair thick butters and creams. As an in-between hair texture, medium width hair may like regular deep conditioning and occasional protein treatment, even heavier oils in moderation during wintertime. I recommend to switch between products with different thickness and find out your favourites from trial and error. Determine your hair width now so that you can choose the best products and care methods for your hair!
Only $3 that saves my coarse hair😱
This Garnier Ultra Doux Masque Nutrition Intense Avocado Hair Mask is a lifesaver for dry hair! I'm a hair colorist, when my hair grows new black, I can't help but dye it. As a result, there was a time when the end of my hair was very dull. Since I bought this hair mask two months ago, the end of my hair is no longer a hair that can't be brushed. It's very smooth and shiny under the sun. This hair mask is very cheap, only $3, and can be bought in supermarkets, cosmeceuticals stores, which is very convenient to buy. It has a light fragrance, very fresh and natural, when using, you will not feel particularly pungent. Its texture is relatively heavy, because its ingredients are very good moisturizing ingredients, the main ingredients of this Garnier Doux Masque Nutrition Intense Avocado Hair Mask owns avocado essence and camellia essence, both of which are important ingredients for nourishing hair, so the moisturizing effect is very good. After shampooing, apply a thick layer of the hair mask to the ends of the hair, and remember not to apply it to the roots, as this will speed up scalp oil flow. Leave for three minutes, while you can kill time with a body wash or facial cleanser. After rinsing the hair mask, the hair will be very smooth, and there is no false slippery or greasy feeling. After blow-drying your hair, it will still leave a faint scent. In particular, after using regular conditioner, your hair may become dry again after 1-2 days. Using other hair masks can make your hair thicker the next day, but This one by Garnier strikes the right balance. It works long and doesn't over-moisturize. The most important thing is that the price of this hair mask is less than $3, very acceptable! I recommend it to girls with dry hair like me!

If you have coarse hair like me, you can miss these babes👉👉
I am extremely picky about what shampoo and conditioner I use regularly because I have extremely straight, fine hair that can get either super oily easily, or can dry out easily causing it to break easily. I know that's really in a terrible state.I usually use Dove or Pantene, I've never really tried Garnier, but this Honey Treasures was definitely my favorite by far! And I like that entire line of Whole Blends. It made my hair SO extremely soft and light feeling. The first time I purchased this line from the store was Green Apple& GreenTea shampoo of Garnier Whole Blends.I remembered that's a really big size one, probably 750ml. It can dry my hair out a bit.The smell of green apple is wonderful and my hair always feels refreshed after, this can REALLY cleanse thoroughly.I do not recommend everyday use with it, however not in general, either. I love these Whole Blends Honey conditioners. I have very naturally curly hair and the products make it look so healthy. After usingGARNIER - Whole Blends Coconut Oil & Cocoa Butter Extracts Smoothing Shampoo , my hair comes out feeling so smooth, soft and with a little moist. I have noticed my hair is a little oilier the next day. I think that is because it has something to make the hair smoother, therefore a bit oilier. GARNIER - Whole Blends Honey Treasures Repairing ConditionerThe conditioner does have a nice honey smell, but I usually prefer a more clean almost soap like smell for my shampoo/conditioner - but I don't mind the light coconut/honey smell of this shampoo/conditioner, especially with how nice it makes my hair feel. I would definitely recommend this conditioner, but because everybody has such different opinions/preferences when it comes to shampoo/conditioner, especially since everybody's hair can react so differently - but for straight super dry hair, I would recommend to try this!

They made my hair OBEDIENT!😱😱😱
My hair care is always an important and difficult thing, because my hair is a typical oily, but my hair tail is very different. The ends of my hair are very hard and dry, which leads to the need for separate hair care. Otherwise, my hair ends will be split and knotted, and the comb will not work. Regarding the divisional care of hair, what I am most concerned about is how to make my hair end smooth. This brand, Moroccanoil saved me on this issue. MOROCCANOIL - Treatment Light $22/100ML This is the hair oil that I use the most every day, and this kind of product is specially launched for oily hair. When my hair is washed, about 80% to 90% dry, I will squeeze out some essential oils, gently massage a few times in the palm of my hand, and then apply it to the ends of my hair. Its unique, argan oil-rich formula instantly absorbs to eliminate frizz and leave hair feeling smooth and manageable. The most reassuring thing is that this kind of product will not make your hair greasy. With the light yellow, non-stick texture and light fragrance, and after long-term use, I obviously feel that my hair is getting better and better. MOROCCANOIL - Moroccanoil Treatment $22/100ML On the other hand, my hair will become drier and coarser after dyeing. At this moment, I will choose another hair care oil from his family. This hair oil is more moisturizing than the previous one. Because of the ultraviolet protective agent in glycerol, it can even protect the environment from being damaged. The unique quality of instantaneous absorption makes it shine immediately without leaving a sticky residue. What's even more surprising is that when we dye our hair, we add a few drops of this product, which will do much less harm to our hair. Wha't your fav hair oil? Tell me below👇
