This is my fall/winter skin routine, it’s not as moisturizing as a lot of others people’s routines (but I’m indoors a lot more so my biggest concern is dry air versus cold dry air, and maskne) THE inkey LIST - Polyglutamic Acid Hydrating Serum

How I Tackle Maskne!!!! 😷
Put down the crazy exfoliants and let me introduce you to my favorite non-exfoliating products to treat maskne, coming from a Licensed Esthetician ✨ ✨ Glyymed Sulfur Mask ✨Glymed CBD Micro Silver Miracle ✨Cosrx Snail Mucin Essence ✨Sanitas Clarifying B3 Complex ✨eltaMD Silver Gel ✨CVS Zinc Ointment GLYMEDPLUS - Serious Action Sulfur Masque #Glymed - CBD Micro Silver Miracle[products]#[FiveStars] COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence #a EltaMD - Silver Gel[products]#[FiveStars] #Sanitas - Clarifying B3 Complex[products]#[FiveStars] Why not exfoliate away the persistent bumps? Well it’s all about what is the cause to “maskne”, it is caused by the persistent friction along the skin creating acne lesions and other friction based reactions to the skin like redness and irritation. Applying more exfoliants risks a compromised skin barrier and even chemical burned since many of us are wearing out masks between 8-12 hours a day of not more. I would solely use any of your exfoliants at night or when you have a break from wearing your PPE. I would also reach for a rinse off or wash off exfoliant like a Glycolic Acid or BPO face wash which uses short contact therapy to help treat any breakouts but helps prevent the risk of irritation because it’s on the skin for a short amount of time. Occlusives + Pimple Patches + Coloidal Silver = maskne protection When forming a barrier between you and your make my favorite way to do this is to layer my hydrating products like serums and essences, I follow up with a moisturizer and then an occlusive to put a barrier between my skin and the irritant (the mask) as well as to lubricate the area so it can glide against the skin rather than rub aggressively. I would reach for Cerave Healing ointment or CVS brand Zinc Ointment (which is acne friendly!) If I have an active breakout I would put pimple patches on the affected areas but right before applying the pimple patches Id spot treat or apply a light layer of EltaMD Silver gel to create an antibacterial barrier in my skin. I typically use pimple patches with active ingredients like salicylic acid or centella asiática. All these products and tricks help keep my skin nice and healthy while protecting myself and those around me #wearyourmask ❤️
New moisturizer alert!✨
So I took the advice of many on my last post and decided to drop the Murad - Nutrient-Charged Water Gel . I was disappointed to do so, considering I have had such great luck in the past with other Murad products, but sadly this wasn’t it for me! Although this stuff went on like BUTTER, I found out it had some pretty heavy duty sulfate properties in it, which is a big no-no for my pores and acne prone skin. The fragrance was also incredibly strong, which I didn’t quite mind as that stuff has never truly bothered me in the past, but after a weird breakout once incorporating that product, as well as the COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence, and reading all the kind and helpful replies, I said goodbye to the moisturizer and returned it for.....🥁🥁🥁 COSRX - Propolis Light Cream !!! Now, finally an entire K-Beauty routine!! I have only been using the cream for about two days, however, it’s genuinely as soft as the Murad moisturizer , if not more. Plus, NO fragrance! and NO sulfates!!!! The last two days I’ve woken up, my skin has for once felt so hydrated in the morning, not too oily, and not too dry! I will keep tabs on this one for sure, before I give it too much credit, but I think she’s likely to stay safe and sound in my routine 😂 Have you ever tried this product? What did you think?!

Which BHA Product for Your Skin Type?
If you deal with acne-prone skin or enlarged pores, salicylic acid (BHA) is heaven-sent for most folks. Oil-soluble, it penetrates more effectively/deeply into the pore than water-soluble AHAs, touting hydrating, antimicrobial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties in addition to exfoliating. But Which BHA Product Is Best for You? 👀 • PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator : $29.50 USD, $0.25 per mL. A cult classic, an international bestseller, a bottle of liquid gold. Water-thin, it contains a couple of humectants, an antioxidant, and 3 preservative/stabilizing ingredients. A super simple INCI list! This makes it especially friendly to many sensitive-skinned folks, as the list of possible skin triggers is small. Some people say the finish feels oily, but I find it intensely hydrating and it soaks in quickly, making it great for combo and dry skin alike! This simple liquid is my pick for enlarged pores and general skin congestion. • NATURIUM - BHA Liquid Exfoliant 2% : $20 USD, $0.17 per mL. Encapsulated salicylic acid and a variety of humectants make this a hydrating exfoliant “toner”, perfect for those with any skin type, with one exception- those with sensitive skin may have issue with the citrus extracts contained, though the producers of the extracts claim they contain mild AHA exfoliant properties. I’d recommend this to any skin type with non-sensitive skin looking for a budget SA product that leaves skin hydrated but not tacky, and helps to keep pores minimized and unclogged. Texture-picky folks on a budget will love this! • THE inkey LIST - Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA) Blemish + Blackhead Serum : $10.99 USD, $0.37 per mL. This is the best BHA for oily skin, featuring a super simple INCI list made up of humectants, stabilizers, salicylic acid, and zinc PCA. Salicylic acid helps to keep pores clear while zinc pca helps to reduce sebum production, though I personally react badly to zinc pca- bumps and itchiness, unfortunately. This product is still one I recommend to friends, as it’s affordable and has minimal chance of triggering skin allergies/sensitivities other than the zinc, with huge potential for those that struggle with acne in general.

CURIOUS ABOUT THE INKEY LIST?
i have been a huge fan of the inkey list for years; their products are affordable, cruelty-free & predominantly vegan, and they only use necessary ingredients! here are a few products of theirs that i am currently using (plus some honourable mentions that i have previously used): 💫THE inkey LIST - Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Toner 💫 this 10% glycolic acid toner works wonders with no irritation or excessive dryness. previously, i used the pixi glow tonic to-go pads which is only 5% but the transition has been very peaceful! it helps to shrink and unclog pores as well as reduce fine lines. i use it every other night! 💫THE inkey LIST - Salicylic Acid Acne + Pore Cleanser 💫 this baby is a miracle-worker for acne. after years of using brands with harsh ingredients such as clean&clear and oxy, this cleanser is a breath of fresh air. it is gentle while quickly clearing up any severe breakouts i have. no tightness of the skin here! 💫NEW!! THE inkey LIST - Succinic Acid Acne Treatment 💫 as soon as i saw that the inkey list had a new pimple fighting product out, i sprinted to order it! this product contains 1% salicylic acid, 2% sulfur powder, and 2% succinic acid, a compound naturally found in the body to help control oil levels and unclog pores while also shrinking blemishes. while it is still new to me, i have found that it has shrunk my pimples as well as reduce the redness and pressure in them!! honourable mentions: 💫THE inkey LIST - Vitamin C Serum 30ml 💫 i used this when i was first getting into having a proper skincare routine. it had this incredible natural smell of what i can only describe as maple and it did truly help to even and brighten my complexion. i will say that it did not agree with broken or super sensitive skin! 💫THE inkey LIST - Caffeine Eye Cream 💫 i used this product more for puffiness and waking up my tired eyes rather than dark circles and i must say i enjoyed it! immediately after application, my eyes felt super alert and it even made ME feel more awake! i would definitely reconsider purchasing it after i am done my present eye cream. and that’s all folks!! i hope you enjoyed ;) please be sure to follow here and on my IG @chloebrk.mua #cheriecreator

⚡️SKIN SAVIOR SERUMS ⚡️
These are some of my newer serums that I’ve been using for a few months now and I’m totally in love!! Here’s how I use them and what they do for me 🥰 My Skin Type: Very Combination, Rosacea, Light skin tone, 21 yrs old PEACH & LILY - Glass Skin Refining Serum Price: $39/40 mL Ingredients: niacinamide, peach extract, peptides, hyaluronic acid Thoughts: This serum is PERFECT for combination skin! Its super hydrating and also controls excess oil production with the niacinamide/HA combo. I find that it really makes my skin look healthy and balanced and keeps breakouts at bay. I usually use niacinamide products at night because I tend to get the most oily over night. Love it so much!💕 FARMACY - Honeymoon Glow Serum Price: $58/1 oz Ingredients: AHA, BHA, flower acids, honey, HA Thoughts: Easily my favorite chemical exfoliator! Much gentler than The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution which I do love but rarely feel that I am able to use because my skin is easily sensitized, but this farmacy serum gets the job done and I LOVE that its a serum that I can leave on over night and wake up to soft glowy skin! PAULA'S CHOICE - Defense Antioxidant Pore Purifier Price: $31/1 oz Ingredients: salicylic acid, vit C, licorice root, ceramides, coq10, other antioxidants Thoughts: this is my GO TO morning serum! Not only does it clear my pores and keep my oil production at bay, as well as reduce the inflammation of any acne I’m experiencing, its also very hydrating and protects your skin from free radicals and aging! Its really such a well rounded product that does a bit of everything and works so well, my favorite PC product ❤️ Krave - Great Barrier Relief Price: $28/45 mL Ingredients: tamanu, sunflower, & rosehip oils, squalane, vit b3, ceramides Thoughts: a GREAT moisturizer for when your skin is super dehydrated or sensitive, it really gives a great reset. I gave it 4 stars because its marketed as a serum when its very much a cream-consistency, and I cant use it too often because the oils tend to clog my T zone. However it definitely does what its meant to do and when nothing else helps, this product DOES! Have you tried these serums? Whats your favorite? Lmk any questions you have!!
Next on my list to review....
Here's my latest skin haul awaiting to arrive in the mail. I'll be trying and reviewing to give you my truthful opinion on how these work for me and why I think they are (or are not) a good product. Have you personally tried any of these? Sound off in the comments your thoughts. Give me time to get through each of these products since I'll be trying them out for atleast a week at a time.

The Ordinary products for acne prone skin✨
Th Ordinary has been one of my favorite brands for some time now. I love trying new products from them knowing it won’t break the bank. I previously had a post about a few of their serums but I’ve tried to branch out since. Here’s my experience with a few new TO products as well as some of my all time favorites: The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution - such a versatile product! I’ve used it for my underarms as deodorant, sometimes my feet to get rid of dead skin cells, my butt for buttne and lastly, on my face as a gentle exfoliator! I love it for all of these uses and at under $9 for 8fl oz I think it’s an amazing deal! The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA - This moisturizer is okay. It’s too thick for my oily skin and leaves a matte finish, which isn’t something I particularly like. When my skin gets too dry I love using it because it instantly moisturizes but it’s more of a spot moisturizer for me than an all face one. The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution - absolute favorite! I’m on to my second bottle now. It definitely burns or stings sometimes no matter how many times you’ve used it but I’m okay with it since it does such a great job at exfoliating. I only keep it for up to 10 min and use it 1-2 times a week, mostly once now though since I don’t want to further dry my face. The Ordinary - Granactive Retinoid 2% in Squalane - this product did absolutely nothing for my face. I used it for a couple of months and my skin would refuse to absorb it, so it stayed pretty oily which I hated. I also saw no benefits to my under eye fine lines. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% - this is my third bottle of this serum and this time I opted for the 60ml one as opposed to the 30ml. I use it daily and once I got to figure out the exact amount my face needs, it’s been working wonders. My face feels brighter and smoother which is why I’ve continued repurchasing. The Ordinary - Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% - purchased this product to help with hyperpigmentation and I am still to see any major differences. My skin feels better overall but I’m not sure whether it’s solely because of this product. It’s a non oily cream which is a plus for me, I’ll continue to use it until it’s done but not sure whether I’ll repurchase.
[REVIEW] The Ordinary Trio
🧊 The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% - Used in intervals in PM routine - Slight tightening and firming sensation - Skin appears more smooth and less oily - Minimized appearance of pores - Sticky and sudsy texture when rubbed onto skin - Fairly affordable ($5.90 USD) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 💉 The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution - Used 1-3 times per month / PM routine - Tingling almost burning sensation - Skin appears brighter and smooth day(s) later - Use product sparingly - May not be suitable for sensitive skin - Fairly affordable ($7.20 USD) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ☕️ The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG - Used daily in AM/PM routines - Subtle brightening/smoothing effects under eyes - Slight tightening and firming sensation - One drop is all you need (30 mL / 1 oz) - No strong scent - Rim may get crusty if touched by dropper - Fairly affordable ($6.70 USD)
Can You Believe A $15 Face Serum Transformed Reese Witherspoon Skin???!!!
Congratulates to Reese Witherspoon won the Emmy Awards as one of the Best Lead Actress in a Drama. Reese Witherspoon's signature fresh skin and classic red lipstick go deep into the hearts of the people. Her makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan shares her fresh skin secret and what really surprised me is the using products that all cost $15 or less! And what's also surprised me is that we can find Kelsey Deenihan Cherie's account!!! 💋Reese Witherspoon's Secret to get a Flawless Skin: THE inkey LIST - Q10 Antioxidant Serum THE inkey LIST - Peptide Moisturizer To give Witherspoon the best possible canvas for makeup, she started by applying The Inkey List's Q10 Antioxidant Serum, a cocktail of antioxidants, peptides, and squalane that smoothes and hydrates skin. Deenihan followed that with the brand's Peptide Moisturizer, which Deenihan says is fast-absorbing. THE inkey LIST - Caffeine Eye Cream THE inkey LIST - Polyglutamic Acid Hydrating Serum To prevent concealer creasing, she applied The Inkey List Caffeine Eye Cream under Witherspoon's eyes before topping off her whole face with Polyglutamic Acid, "the perfect makeup base." Witherspoon looked virtually flawless on the red carpet! The entire routine used for her skincare before makeup costs roughly $55 in total! Perfect budget, amazing products which show that even to get red carpet-ready skin, don't have to spend an arm and a leg! (Information get from Allure) ❤️My Personal Review: The INKEY List - Peptide Moisturizer: Luckily I tried one of the products that Reese Witherspoon used! I love moisturizers, especially when they’re simple but nourishing. This product is a lightweight, emollient cream that has a bouncy texture that makes it perfect for evening use and suitable for non-oily folks to use in the AM, leaving a silky radiant finish and quenched feeling for the skin. It soaks in beautifully and isn’t greasy at all. I think this is a really nice hydrating moisturizer that can replenish dehydrated dry skin, at a pretty affordable price, in an air-tight pump that keeps the product clean and contamination risk minimal.
INGREDIENT SPOTLIGHT: A Polyglutamic Acid How-To
Now that Sephora has finally reopened its stores in LA, I managed to pick up a couple of products by The Inkey List, including this Polyglutamic acid serum/moisturizer. I’ve heard about this ingredient in passing but didn’t know too much about the research behind it- here’s what I found! THE inkey LIST - Polyglutamic Acid Hydrating Serum What is Polyglutamic Acid? A mild peptide like HA- not one of those exfoliating acids like AHA/BHA! PGA is a newly touted moisturizer/humectant that supposedly holds 4x the amount of water that hylauronic acid does. If hearing this makes you think that the skincare industry has just become an ingredient space race, I FEEL YOU AND YOU ARE NOT WRONG. By no means should you toss your HA or feel that you need to keep adding more to an existing routine you are content with. I hope giving you options will allow us all to make informed skin decisions. Anyway, polyglutamic acid supposedly works synergistically with HA, so for those with dry skin or if you’re going through a dehydrated phase needing an extra bit of hydration, this may be a good item to add! Impressions of The Inkey List’s PGA? I wasn’t in love with it at first as the initial smell reminded me of chemicals, almost like faint Sharpie pen (although fragrance free, I may have appreciated something to cover up the smell!). But the good thing is that the smell doesn’t last. Thicker in texture than my typical serum on application, I was expecting the product to pill or stay sticky but after a few minutes of it sitting on top of my other HA-based serums I’m pleased to say that it dries rather smooth and matte! It’s matte but definitely not drying. For $15, I’d say this 1.0 Fl Oz was worth a shot. I kind of love that it’s not tacky like some HAs out there. Im also really appreciating the simple plastic pump bottle application- great for on-the-go situations. When to use it? I see it as a serum-moisturizer hybrid for healing dehydrated skin! In my current AM routine, I use sunscreen as my moisturizer, but PGA is light enough for me to sneak it in after my Vitamin C serum and before my sunscreen step. I also see myself using it at night as a moisturizer after all my active-containing serums to lock in all that moisture. TLDR? Dehydrated cracked skin? Using synergistically with existing hylauronic acid-containing serums should give best results! Cheers to summer skin 🥂
SAVE YOUR MONEY 😢👎🏻
Man, I don’t know what it is but lip balms and masks have been seriously disappointing lately 👎🏻 The more hype around a lip balm or a new lip mask and the more damage control I have to do AFTER using it on my lips. This one is no different and I threw all $30 of it right in the bin. It’s been a week since I have stopped using BIOSSANCE - Squalane+ Rose Vegan Lip Balm and my lips are almost back to normal. I used it 3 times and it really damaged my lips..they became ireparably dry, cracked, flaky and prune-y. I woke up with cracks all along my inner lips one night and no other lip balm or salve helped - not even the good ones I love. The only thing that has been working to restore them slowly is regular coconut oil. The pros are that this balm comes in a lovely pot, has an amazing whipped texture and a luxurious faint smell to it but it doesn’t work to do what it’s supposed to at the end of the day. The same thing happened to me with the LANEIGE - LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask it just took longer but basically the same results over time! Does anyone know why this happens? and why no one talks about it? Let me know in the comments. WHO is actually having such a good experience with lip masks that they get all this hype?!? Lip masks are starting to smell like the new eye creams to me... 🙅🏻♀️ I’m going to save myself the painful chap from now on and stick to my trusty BITE - Agave+ Intensive Vegan Lip Mask products. They actually work to hydrate the lips not just form a barrier! 👄
My recent samples: 😍😐😣
Today I received my free sample of the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair and I'm so excited that I decided to a premature post about my recent samples.. The good 😍, the bad 😣 and the meh 😐. Premature because I haven't had the chance to try them all yet so there'll be a part 2 of this post! 😁 My review of the ones I tried is as follows: MOROCCANOIL - Moroccanoil Treatment IT'S AMAZING. So I'm very careful of my hair and never subject it to any treatments. I never used serums until I was 23 (bc my hair was almost 4ft long by then). The only one I trust to use is the one I get from India every year. Two bottles (I don't use it very often) for the whole year. When I didn't get to stock up, I looked elsewhere and honestly, I almost never like any hair serums. I've tried Matrix, The Honest Company, Infusium, OGX and idk what else. But this one is so good. It's almost the same as the one I buy back in India with an equally pleasant smell. And it makes my hair silky smooth. All in all, 5 stars OLE HENRIKSEN - C-Rush Vitamin C Gel Moisturizer The second product I loved! I can't find a better word to describe the cream than "fresh". Every time I apply it, it feels so fresh on my skin, I love that 😍 Plus it has a very faint yet divine smell. It's a sample and I don't have too many fine lines so I can't comment on the anti-aging claims of this cream. But either way, I'm definitely buying this creme sometime next year when I run out of my current creams. FARMACY - Daily Greens Oil-Free Gel Moisturizer with Moringa and Papaya This one's the meh. It's not a bad cream but it's not great either. I have drier skin and even a little bit feels too heavy and oily on my face. Plus the smell isn't something I enjoyed. BIOSSANCE - Squalane+ Rose Vegan Lip Balm This is the second meh product. Honestly, of the few brands that I really get excited about, biossance is one of them and I can't wait to try their whole line - but this lip balm doesn't do wonders. I use Aquaphor and Vaseline and they work better than this. I do like the really cute bottle though. The texture is similar to Vaseline but with a rose scent. I still use it, but for overnight use I still reach for Vaseline. GLAMGLOW - BRIGHTEYES Illuminating Anti-Fatigue Eye Cream CLINIQUE - Pep-Start Eye Cream I'm clumping these two together because neither of these worked. The texture of both is not too bad, sometimes even quite pleasant. But if I were to pick one skincare concern for me, it'd be dark circles. And these didn't help. Wish they did but nope. I'm currently trying a couple of others and if they work, I'll post about them soon :) TATCHA - Luminous Dewy Skin Mist I've realized that I'm just not a fan of face mists. I'm too paranoid they'll blind me or something. Plus this one smells strong when it hits the face, thereby doubling my paranoia. So I'd rather not use it and I'll refrain from rating as well.
My mini @versed collection 🖤 I wanted to take this time to do two small reviews and a first impressions on these products. REVIEW: ⚡️Just Breathe - Clarifying Serum: I have been using this product for about a month now and wow, the improvement in my acne is incredible. I have very dry/sensitive/acne-prone skin and this serum does an AMAZING job at calming down all my acne, reduces the redness in my skin and I just love how gentle it is on my skin. I will be using this product for a VERY long time. I need to stock up on my few bottles soon. ⚡️ The Shortcut Overnight Facial Peel: Okay so at first I was very skeptical about this product. I wasn’t sure how well this peel would work for me, but then again I’m not familiar with peels because I never bothered to give them a try. Let me tell you.. I am so happy I bought this product. I’ve been using this twice a week for the past 3 weeks and my skin the next morning, is GLOWING. It’s perfect for acne-prone sensitive skin. Another amazing product from Versed that I will re-purchase once I finish this tube. FIRST IMPRESSION: ⚡️Found the Light - Powder w/ Vitamin C ⚡️Stroke of Brilliance- Brightening Serum: I just bought these this past week and had the chance to use them twice so far. With these type of products, you see results with a more consistent/long term use, so nothing was seen immediately, but it didn’t further irritate my acne at all, which makes me very happy. I can already tell I am going to love these two products the longer I use it. What is your favorite versed product? 😍
VERSED-FOUND THE LIGHT Powder With VC
Pores. Some people are lucky and don’t seem to have them others, like me, not so much. So what’s a girl/boy/person with big pores to do? Unfortunately, not much. You can’t shrink pores. All you can do is keep them clean and elastic, and keep your skin plump, as that makes them less visible. Keeping pores clean is best achieved with salicylic acid or other BHAs. Weekly clay masks are also a good idea. I use The Ordinary‘s Salicylic Acid 2% semi regularly and cosrx’s 2 in 1 Poreless Power Liquid twice a day (I use it like I would use a first toner, put it on a cotton pad and wipe my face). I also use deciem’s Pore Control serum. It contains niacinamide, which is the only ingredient that can help with pore elasticity. Apart from that: A good moisturiser and lots of water for skin plumpness are a good idea! So is a good primer that basically fills in your pores!
🔍Worth the Hype? Niacinamide Edition✨
⭐️ Niacinamide is a form of Vitamin B3, a wonderful ingredient that can benefit the majority of people as a result of its gentle nature. This ingredient is found in plenty of skin care and is a gentle topical treatment for acne and eczema It can be combined with nearly any ingredient in a skin care routine. With the exception of Ascorbic Acid/the pure form of Vitamin C 🍊 ⭐️ BENEFITS: 🤍Skin Barrier: can help your skin grow a ceramide lipid barrier, and promote skin protein repair, which in turn, helps retain moisture 🤍Redness & Blotchiness: reduces inflammation which may help ease redness from eczema, acne, and other inflammatory skin conditions 🤍Minimizes Pore Appearance: keeps skin smooth and moisturized (May over time naturally reduce the size of pores) 🤍Oil Production: regulates amount of oil the sebaceous glands produce, while also helping with moisture retention ***helping your skin hit that perfect moisture level 🤍Sun Damage Protection: reinforces the skin barrier to better protect healthy skin cells from UV ray damage 🤍Hyperpigmentation : 5% niacinamide concentrations can be helpful in lightening dark spots. Benefits were seen after four weeks - two months 🤍Minimizes Fine Lines/Wrinkles: 5% concentration was helpful in reducing some signs of sun damage that come with aging 🤍Acne: especially with inflammatory forms like papules and pustules, you may see fewer lesions and improved skin texture ⭐️Is it worth it? Considering Niacinamide has good research supporting its claims, thousands of positive reviews, and a nonirritating ingredient, then I would definitely recommend trying it. I loved my results after a few months, I am happy to now try the Ordinary. Especially for 6$ a pop (a highly inclusive price range🖤)! ⭐️What About my Sensitive Skin Rarely do people experience allergic reactions to Niacinamide, however, when trying any new product, (particularly active ingredients) concentrations matter ⚠️If you’ve NEVER used Niacinamide as a topical treatment then hitting your skin with a 10% concentration may cause a sudden reaction ‼️This does NOT automatically mean you’re unable to use Niacinamide ⚠️ If you shave your face or have broken skin/sores, avoid using until your next ⚠️ If prone to sensitivity then be weary of how you combine with high concentrations of irritating ingredient (e.g. BHAs) ⭐️Listen to your Skin: Your skin sends good & bad signals to let you know what works, so pay attention! Acclimate your skin to new products & patch test. Introduce serums at low concentrations (e.g. 5%) & find niacinamide in leave on treatments (e.g. toner & moisturizer) ‼️ burning and severe irritation? wash off immediately Other Products to Explore: Benton - Snail Bee High Content Skin (Toner) THE inkey LIST - Niacinamide Oil Control Serum SOME BY MI - AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Toner COSRX - Galactomyces Alcohol-Free Toner PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Niacinamide Booster

This product.....what can I say. An essence is not essential to your routine but if you are looking for some extra hydration, this stuff will do for a great price. It’s only 23 dollars and you might be able to find it cheaper outside of Ulta. Cos rx is a Korean skin care brand and they are really big on essences. It’s made from 96% snail mucin. I try not to think about it actually because it’s so slimy but it absorbs into my skin like a dream. It fits into my routine wonderfully. I have combo oily normal skin but it can be used for any skin type I think. I’m not sure about sensitive skin though honestly.

lavido-Invigorating Facial Serum
🌸 Cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence - 2nd bottle. I’d repurchase but I wanna explore other snail products. 🌸 laneige_kr Fresh Calming Toner - I didn’t like this toner because of its overwhelming smell (smells good tho - it can be a subtle cologne haha) and it’s not hydrating enough for my oily skin. 🌸 huxley_korea Secret of Sahara Oil Essence - I love this except for the packaging / dropper. It’s a bit pricey. I’d still love to try the other essences 🌸 Tia’m Face Guard Cream - I love love love this cream! I’d repurchase and I’m also interested in their other creams. 🌸 deciem The Ordinary Niacinamide +Zinc - Def a repurchase. I love this even though it smells like paste or glue and how it’s slightly tacky. My face produced less sebum and it lightened my acne scars quicker than the usual.
