1. THE INKEY LIST HYALURONIC ACID SERUM I love this product! It may or may not be replacing my holy grail some by mi aha-bha-pha serum😬. I actually just bought this product around 3/4 days ago and I can already notice a difference. Like all hyaluronic acid products, this is on the watery side. It’s fast absorbing and does a really good job of hydrating the skin without being sticky. I’d definitely recommend this product to everyone regardless of your skin type. 2. THE INKEY LIST Q10 SERUM One of my favorite products from the inkey list. I can apply this everyday without it clashing with my other serum ingredients. As someone with dry to normal skin, this adds a nice layer of hydration before my moisturizer. It’s non-sticky and absorbs beautifully into the skin. I’ve been using this product in the evenings for the last 3 months. It almost has the consistency of a light-weight lotion. I would without a doubt recommend this product. Q10 is such a great ingredient that everyone can benefit from. 3. THE INKEY LIST GLYCOLIC ACID EXFOLIATING TONER THE PRICE SAYS IT ALL. This is a light-weight liquid that you can either apply straight to your face or with a cotton pad. To avoid creating more waste I personally take a cotton pad and cut it in half. I use this product in the evenings to avoid my skin from becoming overly sensitized. I love using it since it exfoliates my skin while I’m sleeping, it’s worth it because it saves time, all you have to do is put it on and just let it do it’s thing. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who is concerned about dark spots, uneven texture, and fine lines & wrinkles. 4. MILK MAKEUP VEGAN MILK MOISTURIZER I’m obsessed with this product. I have repurchased this product a total of 4 times and I really enjoy using it. I use this as my night time moisturizer which is what I find best for my skin type because it does have a thick consistency. Totally recommend this product to anyone who has more of a dry skin type.

Tretinoin updates! 1 month and 2 weeks in!
I was feeling a bit down about my skin today so I looked at the photos from a month ago to see where my progress stands. I’ll say I’m pleased :). I used my “Skin Progress” photo album which has 51 photos in total. The album has shots of all three regions of my face and I’ve been taking these photos ever since April 18, two days after my birthday. When I feel like my skin is crappy I always look through the horrific period of time where I was using the CeraVe - Resurfacing Retinol Serum *shudder* and I usually always feel a bit better about where I’m at 😭 As for now I’m really really debating incorporating a gentle chemical exfoliant like the The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HAor going back to using The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%to help boost my skins recovery. I have been able to use tretinoin every night without any crazy dryness or discomfort (knock on wood) so I think I’m ready. I just don’t know whether I should incorporate something to help the tret or just let my skin do her thing. I finally have a stable skincare routine again (halllleeelluujjjaahhh) which is: Am: GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water with Rose Water Cleocin t 1% THE inkey LIST - Vitamin B, C, and E Moisturizer Neutrogena - Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 100 Pm: GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water with Rose Water ALMAY - ALMAY Makeup Remover + Foaming Lotion Cleanser Tretinoin .025% CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin I’ll be back with more picture updates in two weeks for my two month benchmark!
Acne struggle! Don’t know what to do anymore
Hi! The first picture happened almost out of no where I don’t remember drastically changing anything in my skin care routine. I did dermaplane my skin and I have a theory I might’ve destroyed my moisture barrier and really irritated my skin! What I was originally doing Morning routine COSRX - Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream Night routine COSRX - Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 The Ordinary - Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3% (Alternating products below) The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA ZO SKIN HEALTH - Retinol Skin Brightener .5% The Ordinary - 100% L-Ascorbic Acid Powder FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream I have since taken out all actives and now I use CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin First picture is my original routine, rest of the photos are about a week after new routine. It’s gotten better but still not very good. I used to have clear skin and would only get small break outs. Nothing to this extreme!

Shortcut to Smoother, Brighter Skin
This is a glycolic + lactic acid resurfacing peel that works overnight to exfoliate your skin. It also contains: Vitamin A (retinyl palmitate Rosehip seed oil Vitamin E It smooths and brightens your skin without making your skin dry or flaky. It’s extremely gentle! Gentle enough to use multiple times a week. ✨ This product is great for dullness and anti-aging. I’ve been using is 2-3 x a week and haven’t noticed any irritation at all. I DO notice waking up with my skin looking refreshed and brighter, though. I find this peel on the hydrating side as well. It absorbs into the skin like a lotion (no sticky feeling). I sometimes don’t apply a moisturizer before or after. However, if your skin is on the dryer side you can certainly use a moisturizer with it. If you’re looking for a more noticeable peel, this product isn’t for you. As I said above, you won’t see your skin flake with this. The packaging doesn’t list the % of the lactic acid or the glycolic acid. VERSED - THE SHORTCUT Overnight Facial Peel I still enjoy this product even if it’s more hydrating and less exfoliating. I do see my skin looking brighter after use and it feeling noticeably smoother. Note: this product is vegan, non-toxic, non-irritating, fragrance-free, and sulfate-free.

The Ordinary-AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution
🌸 Cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence - 2nd bottle. I’d repurchase but I wanna explore other snail products. 🌸 laneige_kr Fresh Calming Toner - I didn’t like this toner because of its overwhelming smell (smells good tho - it can be a subtle cologne haha) and it’s not hydrating enough for my oily skin. 🌸 huxley_korea Secret of Sahara Oil Essence - I love this except for the packaging / dropper. It’s a bit pricey. I’d still love to try the other essences 🌸 Tia’m Face Guard Cream - I love love love this cream! I’d repurchase and I’m also interested in their other creams. 🌸 deciem The Ordinary Niacinamide +Zinc - Def a repurchase. I love this even though it smells like paste or glue and how it’s slightly tacky. My face produced less sebum and it lightened my acne scars quicker than the usual.

Do you love Niacinamide?? ✨💕 I have these staples in my routine and I wanted to give my thoughts on. @paulaschoice skin balancing pore reducing toner and @deciem @theordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 2% solution. 😍💕The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Niacinamide is my absolute favorite ingredient and I love it along with my Glycolic acid. Is there any one ingredient that you love so much?? Let me know in the comments ⬇ ❤ @deciem 👉 Claims: Niacinamide (vitamin B3) reduces the appearance of skin blemishes and congestion. A high 10 percent concentration of this vitamin is supported in the formula by zinc PCA to balance visible aspects of sebum activity. My thoughts: It is the best product and ingredient so far. It is a staple in my routine since a long time now. I don't remember ever thinking of not using this one ever. Love how it brightens and tightens my skin. My pores miraculously get less visible and it creates that shield of glow on skin. I simply love it. It is safe to use, non-irritating and effective even for sensitive skin types. It tingles a tiny bit in certain areas of face when applied but that tingling sensation goes away in few moments. @paulaschoice Skin balancing Pore reducing toner 👉PAULA'S CHOICE - Pore-Reducing Toner Claims : SKIN BALANCING Pore-Reducing Toner helps balance skin with antioxidants and hydrating ceramides, making oily areas less noticeable and skin more even, smooth, moisturized, and protected. It is an essential step in any skincare routine to renew skin after cleansing. Can also help remove the last traces of makeup My thoughts: It does an amazing job. I noticed a smoother and more even skin using this toner. This is almost watery and gets absorbed in skin so quickly. I've been loving this even in daytime, before applying my other skincare. Love it. . . . . . . . . . .

Avoid The Layering!
As by now you know I have combination skin with occasional breakouts. At times we all try and layer products as many as we can or want to thinking more is always better. It is not that. You should know how to and what to layer. This is one mistake I did with the 3 products I am going to talk about and why layering these together was not the wisest decision I made. 1. Nip+Fab Exfoliate- Glycolic Fix Liquid Glow- Daily 2% This exfoliant is to be used after cleansing. Gently sweep over entire face and neck. No doubt this is a very good formula. Glyconic acid helps retexture skin and minimises the appearance of pores. It also hydrates and rejuvenates skin. Other ingredients in this are panthenol which conditions skin, lactic acid which is great for exfoliantion and hyaluronic acid for hydration. NIP+FAB - Glycolic Fix Liquid Glow Daily Tonic 2% 2. Nip+Fab Illuminate Serum Fix This serum is packed with Vitamin C. It is a powerhouse of antioxidants to leave skin bright and refreshed. Vitamin C helps with environmental damage and works well defying fine lines and wrinkles too. This serum targets uneven skin tone and brightness. NIP+FAB - Vitamin C Fix Serum 3. Dear Klairs- Freshly Juiced Vitamin C Drop This is vitamin C drop. It is also like serum. It targets dull and uneven skin. It is high in anti-oxidants. This Korean skin product is immensely hydrating and leaves skin feeling soft. It is formulated with ingredients that are non-irritating to sensitive skin. It minimises appearance of pigmentations and smoothens the pores. dear, klairs - Freshly Juiced Vitamin C Drop All these products and ingredients are great at its own. Though, it did take a toll on my skin when I used all three of them together. As you can see all three of them have very similar features and ingredients that target dull and lifeless skin, hydrate it, smooths fine lines and works on uneven tones. My mistake was to use all 3 together for triple action. Sadly, it did not work that way. It over stressed my skin as too many ingredients and excess of some ingredients were at work every night and morning. Yes, I used it twice a day. Even if you stick to the two Nip+Fab products I feel would do better for your skin.

Pores. Some people are lucky and don’t seem to have them others, like me, not so much. So what’s a girl/boy/person with big pores to do? Unfortunately, not much. You can’t shrink pores. All you can do is keep them clean and elastic, and keep your skin plump, as that makes them less visible. Keeping pores clean is best achieved with salicylic acid or other BHAs. Weekly clay masks are also a good idea. I use The Ordinary‘s Salicylic Acid 2% semi regularly and cosrx’s 2 in 1 Poreless Power Liquid twice a day (I use it like I would use a first toner, put it on a cotton pad and wipe my face). I also use deciem’s Pore Control serum. It contains niacinamide, which is the only ingredient that can help with pore elasticity. Apart from that: A good moisturiser and lots of water for skin plumpness are a good idea! So is a good primer that basically fills in your pores!
🚫 DO NOT MIX 🚫
Retinol, vitamin C, chemical exfoliants. All amazing products that deliver great results! So you might be asking “what if I mix this with that and get the smooth, radiant skin I long for?” But let me tell ya, mixing these potent ingredients is a recipe for disaster! They play great with others (i.e. vitamin C and vitamin E or retinol and hyaluronic acid), but shouldn’t be used together for a couple of reasons. Vitamin C products have a very specific pH which allows them to work best, using a vitamin C based product with acidic ingredients like glycolic acid can alter its pH which can reduce the effectiveness of your products. Now mixing retinol and vitamin C or glycolic acid is just a big NO for me. These combo can lead to irritation, sensitivity, dryness and even flakiness. These three are amazing on their own or with complimentary products like I mentioned before ✨
