boscia - Cactus Water Moisturizer I bought this product at Costco when it was on sale (under $15 ... it seems to be going for $38 at Sephora now ... however, the product has since been discontinued at Costco and in my opinion, for good reason). Since I’d seen this brand at Sephora before, I thought it might be good and the price was so low for such a large moisturizer! I desperately wanted to like it, and when I used it the first time, I thought, “Ok, this reminds me a little of those aloe gels. Maybe this could be good.” Sadly, this moisturizer didn’t do anything for my skin. The thing I hated the most about it (and my mom also agreed) was how sticky it left the skin feeling. In addition, my face was soooooo dry, meaning I don’t think it was moisturizing it at all. The worst part was that my skin became oily and flaky at the same time! I feel bad about not using it anymore but maybe I’ll use it on other parts of the body instead.
🌵 Not For My Face
I have combination skin aka oily t-zone that’s fairly sensitive. I found this moisturizer on sale at Costco for $9.97, and I paid too much. I was really looking forward to trying this, however I wasn’t impressed at all. It had the consistency and feel of aloe, but it left my skin incredibly tacky to the touch. And despite it’s cold feel out of the jar it warms my face something terrible. So while it probably did hydrate my skin the cons just don’t make it worth it. I’m not a fan, and nope I sure won’t be repurchasing this.

The product: a lightweight moisturizer for combo to oily skin. Helps improve moisture levels without the heavy cream feeling. My impressions: I love the light texture of it during the summer time but not a good moisturizer for me during winter time. It doesn’t give me enough hydration that I need. This is more for combo to oily skin so that’s probably why. It would probably do great more with that skin type especially during summer and winter months when they don’t need as much hydration as dry type. How it worked for my dry skin: during the winter time it’s not that good for my skin because I need a heavy cream. It’s to light weight for winter but really enjoy during summer. Length of use: 1 month... mostly in summer and a couple days in winter Cost: $38 Recommend: yes if you have combo to oily skin but don’t purchase if you have dry skin at the moment during winter. Repurchase: no just because I have different moisturizer that work better Overall rating: gave it a 4 out of 5 because it’s a great moisturizer and know lots of people with oily/combo skin who love it! But lost a point because i like moisturizer that can work all seasons for me boscia - Cactus Water Moisturizer

In Harmony in Winter with this origins face cream ❄️♥️✨ This is my “rescue” cream. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Whenever I feel like my skin needs a little more TLC, I use this. I have also decided to use this cream every morning during the wintertimes so I can keep my skin hydrated! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When I first purchased this, I was a little scared to use it tbh. It does have quite a rich texture and I was really scared that I would break out but I didn’t! My skin felt fantastic! It is a soft cream, so I guess that would sort of make this a light rich cream if that makes sense. It has a whipped cream like texture and it is made for combo and oily skin. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I am almost done with the jar. I really do love this cream. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There are two different Three Part Harmony creams one is the soft cream and the nourishing cream. If you are prone to breakouts or have combo/oily skin try the soft cream like the one above! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Moisturizer for sensitive or oily skin
Peach & Lily’s Matcha pudding antioxidant cream is marketed as a lightweight, velvety pudding moisturizer, which is full of antioxidants to protect from pollution, fight off free radical damage, stress and delay signs of aging. It has a lightweight, soft & creamy texture (like a pudding really!) I saw a youtuber rave about Peach & Lily’s products once & I knew my skin needed it. I have been using it for the past few months everyday before my spf and I love that it doesn’t make me feel greasy or oily that I am concerned about with most other moisturizers. This is a perfect moisturizer for sensitive or oily skin people because it absorbs into the skin so well you really don’t feel like you have anything on your face. Its as if your skin drinks it all up and is really enjoying it so its happy and healthy! I would definitely recommend it to people who are looking for a nice and simple everyday moisturizer without any extra fancy ingredients in it that might make you skeptical. For the price, it is pricey ($40 for 50ml), so I rate it 4/5 taking a star off for the price. Because even though I love a lot I really wish it was a bit affordable. AQUA BOMB 💦 Belif Moisturizer for Oily Skin
Oily skin getting you down? I used to be so self conscious about having a shinier skin appearance earlier this year. All I wanted was healthy skin with a more matte appearance. I read about this moisturizer from belif—the True Cream Aqua Bomb—it’s a gel moisturizer that helps treat the overproduction of oil over time by helping hydration levels in the skin. It is antioxidant rich and contains a humectant (oak husk) so you know you’ll be getting serious hydration. Over 4 months of use, I’m happy to say it was my favorite daytime moisturizer in the Spring and Summer! It gave my skin a cooling sensation and a more matte appearance. My skin was less oily throughout the day! Now let’s talk about the texture...it’s a cooling gel but the formula is incredibly thin. It only takes a few minutes to completely absorb into the face! I also really like the fact that it has a blue tint...it adds another “cute” factor for me! It took me a few days to find out what amount I should apply to my face. I guess that is one of the drawbacks—it’s in a jar, meaning there’s potential for bacteria and outside agents to get into it. However, I never noticed anything funny with it, and I’m on my second jar. If you have oilier skin but you can’t find solace in niacinamide products, I highly recommend you try this. This big tub (50ml) retails for $38 and lasts months! I would say with consistent use you could make this last 4-6 months. It’s more than worth it as an investment for your skin. I enjoy K-beauty in general and belif products are some of my favorite! This is a standout for me from the brand (I also love their Moisture Bomb formula) and I have to give it 5 out of 5 stars for the difference it made in my oily skin. belif - The True Cream Aqua Bomb

Cream for oily skin!
The Dr. Jart Cicapair Tiger Grass Calming Gel Cream is a very light gel moisturizer that is aimed at helping combination and oily skin types. This product claims to combat redness and soothe irritation, as well as helping with pesky dryness. This is a gel like texture that just instantly absorbs into the skin, it’s super light weight and feels fresh on the skin. I have used this maybe 5 or 6 times and loved it, but this did not provide enough hydration for my dry skin, so I can see why it is aimed for more oily skin types. This was sent to me through Influenster, but I had always had my eye on this line due to it helping with redness. This product also contains lavender oil, which can be potentially irritating to some skin types. Although this makes the skin very fresh feeling, and leaves no greasy residue behind, it just didn’t provide enough hydration for me, so I needed to double up when I used this gel cream with a heavier cream on top. I would recommend this product to oily or combo skin, and anyone who may have a bit of redness, but would warn people to be wary of the lavender oil, since it is a known cause of skin rash/irritation. For me this wasn’t worth the extra effort or the price, because of not enough hydration. I didn’t see the use in using this too often. But for someone looking for something light weight, this would be it! Dr. Jart+ - Cicapair Tiger Grass Calming Gel Cream

Drunk Elephant Lala Retro
Lala Retro is a rescue cream infused with six rare African oils and a ceramide complex for intense moisture and replenishing barrier support. Made for Normal, Dry, Combination, and Oily skin types. This cream has a very thick texture that I normally wouldn’t prefer. Though it was very moisturizing, I dislike that it took a very long time for it to absorb into the skin and it felt really heavy on the face. I’d recommend this to people who wouldn’t mind the heavy weight of this cream and have oily skin because this cream didn’t break me out despite its weight. DRUNK ELEPHANT - Lala Retro Whipped Moisturizer with Cream I feel that for its price point ($60), there are better options.
