Am I Using This Wrong?! ‼️🚨
On my acne journey I decided to try out the A-Passioni retinol cream since so many people on here said it worked wonders for their acne and other skin problems. I started to incorporate it in my routine once a week, twice a week, working up to every other night. My skin got significantly worse! After researching that there was a purge period with most retinol I kept at it to try and see results. Only when I actually stopped using it my routine did my skin clear up again. I was using this for a few months and still have plenty of product left. Any advice on re-incorporating it or using it in a different way? Will I be repurchasing - Only if I can figure out how to make this work for my skin. *Disclaimer - I do not support Drunk Elephant in the ways they treat not only their staff, but also their customers.*

🎪DRUNK ELEPHANT - The Trunk 4.0 This kit comes fully stocked with everything you need for a truly complete skincare routine & a swift getaway! 🛩☁️ I wouldn’t travel right now, even if you paid me. Covid numbers aren’t going down & I take these facts very seriously. Haven’t had contact with almost anyone since March, because I do have a neurological disease that could put me at risk. I can’t tell anyone what to do... but do I urge you to consciously protect strangers while protecting yourself & your loved ones. My condition is one often referred to as an “Invisible Illness”. Many people have health conditions that others don’t outrightly see. Most people think I’m completely able-bodied unless I’m seen limping or having convulsions. I’ve only had this condition since 2014, so it’s been an adjustment & learning experience for my own prejudgements as well. 🧳My bf really likes the Monos locking suitcase & encouraged me to purchase this while the big Sephora sale was going on. He has to travel for his essential-work sometimes & this is a perfect carry-on size! It’s just as wide & deep as the ‘Monos Carry-On’ ($293) & only 4” shorter. specs: 18” high x 14” wide x 9” deep. Why does everyone hate on these products? 💙😥
Now I have been sampling different vitamin C serums for a while, and I have been loving the C Firma from Drunk Elephant! Now I will admit the smell is a little off putting and it is sticky (what serum isn’t though?!) but wow my skin has never been brighter! I personally use this in combination with the B Hydra to make it less sticky and add some extra hydration. As someone with dry skin, I love this combo! I also think you get more out of the product. Will I be repurchasing - Both, yes. I like how they work together and I am seeing great results. I would never recommend these products on their own, but as a combo I would. This being said, please share your vitamin C recommendations below as I am considering changing due to the stickiness and smell. *Disclaimer - I do not support Drunk Elephant in the ways they treat not only their staff, but also their customers.*

Tube of Garbage 🗑
PLEASE READ!!! As you may remember I incorporated this product Bestie No.9 glycerin cleanser from @drunkelephant a while back into my cleansing regimen. I used it maybe one to two times a week when I forgot to bring my usual cleanser into the shower with me, this was my back up! And just recently for last month I stopped using it for some reason. Tonight I saw a lot of post about this on @cherie how it gave so many break outs and cystic acne and they are still recovering from all the damage. It occurred to me this was it. It was the only thing that I have stopped using and now no more new acne or worse the cystic acne. Never had cystic acne in my life till I started using this. Worst Korean skincare product ever! I said goodbye to this tube of garbage today. I know it’s hard for us to throw out the expensive makeup and skincare products we buy sometimes lucky for me this was a rewards gift item @sephora so no money wasted. Ahhh! Wait! I’ll take that back because now days I’m having to buy products to help with the scarring it gave. Lesson learned: if it doesn’t work for you just toss it. Save your pretty skin. I haven’t ever had acne like what I experienced in the last few months! Thanks my @cherie beauties! Now days Instagram isn’t about real reviews so much anymore it’s more about influencing ppl to buy products that are not what they say they really are. I will always keep my thoughts real and post about the good and bad. DRUNK ELEPHANT - Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser Deluxe Sample

Another Drunk Elephant Flop 🐘💔
I feel no specific way about this product. It did what it promised (cleansing), but did not yield any amazing results for my skin. I decided to try out this face wash as I switched my whole skin care line to Drunk Elephant. The ingredient list isn’t bad and it did take off all my makeup without an initial cleanser, but it didn’t help with my acne or redness. Will I be repurchasing - No. For this price there are a lot of similar products, or better products for less. *Disclaimer - I do not support Drunk Elephant in the ways they treat not only their staff, but also their customers.*

One Week Using Differin
Experience: I started using Differin about a week ago to deal with my maskne and dark spots. Ever since I started wearing masks more frequently, my skin has essentially freaked out. It’s super sensitive and dry, especially around my mouth, but I get cystic-like acne along the area where my mask touches my face. I decided that I was going to try Differin as my last resort before going to the dermatologist (cause I’m still nervous about going to doctor’s offices, unless absolutely necessary because of covid). The instructions recommend daily use; however, I began my first week by using it every other day since I’ve had negative experiences/reactions with other active ingredients before. Since then, I’ve begun using it every night. I use this in the evening after cleansing and applying moisturizer and Aquaphor’s healing ointment. Pros: I definitely already see a visible improvement in my skin, especially with the hyperpigmentation that I’ve dealt with. I do use other products that help with brightening, but I’ve been using those products for quite a while and haven’t seen such a drastic improvement until now. Cons: I experienced a few small breakouts around my chin, but they went away pretty quickly. I have yet to experience any significant purging/dryness, but I also didn’t jump immediately to daily use. Other Products I Use + Frequency: CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser (everyday, AM/PM) DRUNK ELEPHANT - Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser(everyday to remove sunscreen, PM) The Ordinary - Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA(every other day, alternate between this and the next product/AM) The Ordinary - Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2%(every other day, alternate between this and the previous product/AM) DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream (everyday, AM/PM) DRUNK ELEPHANT - Umbra Sheer Physical Daily Defense Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 30(everyday, AM) Aquaphor - Healing Ointment Skin Protectant(everyday, use as a lip balm and to protect sensitive areas of my skin when applying Differin)

texture no mo!
dermalogica - Daily Microfoliant Exfoliator DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Resurfacing Night Serum this is my first review so please bare with me 😅 I have some texture mostly on my chin and sides/creases of my nose. I've used many scrubs but they don't have long last results until I started using this microfoliant by dermalogica. it's meant to be used daily which I like, and I've been using it for almost a month now. immediately I noticed more smooth skin. I've had a mini size of the drunk elephant framboos serum laying around for a while so I figured might as well use it in conjunction with the microfoliant. the results are night and day honestly. the problem area (my chin and nose creases) is no longer a problem area. the bumps are gone, my skin is smooth and supple. I very rarely wear foundation but im looking forward to wearing it to see if indeed the skin is completely smoothed out. I highly recommend the microfoliant, I got the mini/travel size for $21 Canadian. I do recommend the the drunk elephant serum as well, but it is quite pricey. pros: - both products work great - both can be used together to get the best results cons: - both are very expensive for the large size. hope this was helpful to someone out there with the same issue as me 🥰 #drunkelephant #dermalogica

Multitasking Holy Grail Night serum
👉🏻 I have been using Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum as part of my skincare routine for several months now. 👉🏻The serum has a lightweight gel texture which spreads easily on the skin. 👉🏻The formulation absorbs within seconds and it's not stingy or irritating. 📚I find the serum to be very impressive in that it combines both ingredients in a lightweight gel that's free of silicones, fragrances, and drying alcohols. ⭐️ I have dry, reactive skin that is prone to hormonal acne breakouts on my head area, and this serum has helped to reduce the severity of my breakouts thanks to the combination of AHA and BHA in it. 📌If you have sensitive and/or reactive skin, the T.L.C. serum is the better choice for you; however, it is a little slower to work and see results. 📌I took off one star because I found the instructions to mix the serum with the marula oil misleading; I wouldn't advise mixing the two together. Rather, I would suggest applying the serum after cleansing and toning, and prior to applying a moisturizer. I would only use the marula oil as a LAST step to "seal everything in" (otherwise, the oil will prevent the serum from fully penetrating the pores if you mix them together and apply at the same time). ⭐️This product is also fantastic for breakouts. 👉🏻I use it every other night sometimes, if my skin is looking extremely dull and just needs a pick-me-up exfoliation routine. Regularly, I use it about 2x/week. 🖇 how to use : - In the evening, apply to a clean, dry face (and even to the chest and backs of hands), avoiding the eye area. ❌ Slight tingling may be experienced, particularly for the first few days of application. This typically dissipates as your skin becomes adjusted. Start slowly by using every other night. 🌱Vegan and cruelty free 🌱 Price : 90$ 📚Skin type: Very dry, dehydrated 📚Skin concerns: Dryness, wrinkles/aging, Pores and Skin 📌 I am honestly so grateful for this brand and product because I truly think it is saving my skin. It’s a little on the pricier side, but ask anyone struggling with acne, and they will happily pay $90 for a product if it works." DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Facial in a Bottle 🧖🏽‍♀️
Not everyone has the time, money or ability to get a professional facial, but that doesn’t mean our skin has to suffer. For less than the cost of most facial services, you can purchase Drunk Elephant’s TLC Sukari Babyfacial for $80 (or test it out with the Midi size for just $28). And in just a mere 20 minutes, you’ll have skin that looks more radiant, smoother & even tone, and feels soft like a baby’s bottom! 👶🏻 This professional grade AHA/BHA formula is made up of powerhouse ingredients such as 25% AHA blend of glycolic acids, tartaric acids, citric acids & lactic acids. 2% salicylic acid. Chick pea flour. A blend of extracts such as pumpkin ferment, pomegranate, & cactus. Passion fruit seed oil & Virgin Marula oil. Niacinamide. Sodium hyaluronate cross polymer. 💕 I use this facial once a week as a deep exfoliant - to not only remove dead skin cells, but to promote surface turnover, to have a clearer, smoother & more radiant looking skin. I leave this on for 20 minutes and remove using a reusable wash cloth, & pat my skin dry. To prevent any loss of hydration, I follow up immediately with 3 pumps of Drunk Elephant’s F-Balm, 2 drops of Virgin Marula Oil & Shaba for my eye area. 💕 * Product has been kindly gifted, but also repurchased by myself. & no worries - no product was wasted in the making of this photo; I slapped this on my face right after! 💖 DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. I Have Been Slugging And Didn't Even Know It 🐌
Hey guys sorry I have been MIA, My daughter and I were sick last week, I'm feeling better but she's still a little under the 🤒 weather. So what is Slugging?! Slugging is nothing fancy, it's simply slathering Vaseline (or some other petroleum based product) all over your face as the last step in your skincare routine to create a barrier to lock in moisture. I use CeraVe - Healing Ointment and Aquaphor - Aquaphor Healing Ointment (the baby formula) not Vaseline because Vaseline can clog your pores. I do this the first three days post microneedling and i do this typically after a strong exfoliation like The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution or my favorite DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial Mask . After I do my whole skincare care routine moisturizer, face oil the works. I'll sit for 30 min to an hour and let everything sink in and place the cerave or aquaphor on top. It doesn't break me out even though I do have acne prone skin. The next day my skin is soft and hydrated. Another product that is literally made for this for anyone who is acne prone and worried about breaking out is the NATURIUM - Intense Overnight Sleeping Cream . I have used this sleeping mask as well, I love to place it in the fridge and top off my skin care with it. Have you tried slugging? Will you try it??

💚🐘Drunk Elephant 🚿bodycare🧴🐘💚
DRUNK ELEPHANT - The Littles Head to Toe $49/kit with pvc bag & plastic comb As a kit, it’s very cute & a great deal of product for the price, the comb is well made & also cute —but leaking products? Broken seal? Not cute! You get 2 ⭐️’s off for that! Here’s everything you get in this kit: mini sizes💝 Each product is 2 oz, except for the deodorant (1 oz) Full size prices in bold: DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Happi Scalp Scrub $36/6 oz pH 3.7 DRUNK ELEPHANT - Sili™ Body Lotion $20/8 oz pH 4.2 This & the body cleanser are actually the only Drunk Elephant products I’ve ever tried. I received a generous sized sample from Sephora & really liked it, part of the reason I wanted to buy this set, & so I could try their other body products. It has a strong scent, even though it’s fragrance-free. It smells like almond oil & oatmeal, I love it. DRUNK ELEPHANT - Kamili Cream Body Cleanser $20/8 oz pH 5 This was the sample that truly impressed me. I’ve been having some concerns finding a cleanser that’s pH balanced & gentle enough for everywhere, if you know what I mean. I noticed a major difference after using it just twice. This body wash is definitely not stripping any moisture. Like all Drunk Elephant products, it’s fragrance-free, but has a lovely natural scent that’s very subtle. Hard to describe... it’s fresh & bright. Ugh I sound like a 2000s perfume commercial lol. - the seal was broken on this item though. DRUNK ELEPHANT - Wild Marula Tangle Spray $25/4 oz pH 4.5 🔎I think this was what was leaking, but I have not completed my investigation lol. DRUNK ELEPHANT - Cocomino Marula Cream Conditioner$25/8 oz pH 3.6 DRUNK ELEPHANT - Cocomino Glossing Shampoo$25/8 oz pH 5.5 DRUNK ELEPHANT - Sweet Pitti Deodorant Cream$16/4 oz pH 4 Definitely excited to hop on the natural deo train. I’ve been wearing nothing for a while to detox aluminum... but I should be ready to try this really soon. 💚Full reviews are on the way💚 What was your experience with any of these? Are you a Drunk Elephant fan? I know there’s debate & tea surrounding this company, but I’m just trying to give more natural products a shot... With these kits it’s easy to try a bunch of products at once, I love that🍸🐘 🛍This was a 20% off Sephora sale purchase... 10-20% off sale is still going on for a couple more days! 🧳PS- I also got DRUNK ELEPHANT - The Trunk 4.0 I’m crazy, but couldn’t resist the deal.... can’t wait to show you💚🐘! 🐘Also, you can adopt a Pygmy Elephant or an African Elephant from WWF (or many other endangered animals) for only a $55 donation, & you get an adorable (& high quality) plush made from recycled plastic bottles! ♻️ I love animals! I have a serious plush animal collection & i think I’ll only be doing these donation/adoptions to add to my collection from now on! Go to gifts.worldwildlife.org & click on symbolic adoptions.

☀️☀️We hate Suncream yet we are hopeless without it☀️☀️ UNPROTECTED SUN exposure is the number-one cause of two things most of us would rather avoid: skin cancer and premature aging. And yet, the people who neglect daily sunscreen are swift to offer up justifications, chief among them: “I just don’t like the way it feels” Widespread sunscreen aversion has led many brands to bridge the sunscreen and skin care categories, creating lightweight everyday facial formulas that incorporate antiaging and antioxidant ingredients, boast a more appealing texture (sheer! weightless!), and provide imperfection-blurring technology. But with hundreds to choose from, how do you find one that inspires devotion? My solution: Test 50 top formulas As for my personal issues with sunscreen engagement: I have a dusky complexion and very sensitive skin, ergo, my skin gets pigmentation easily; A facial sunscreen that doesn’t upset my sensitive skin’s fine balance can seem like a unicorn. I prefer moisturizing formulas with dewier results; matte finishes tend to magnify fine lines, I’ve found. I want a sunscreen that neither feels heavy on my face nor is detectable by anyone else. My ideal formula must also play well with any makeup I use: I’ve learned, for instance, that the white cast of classic zinc formulas plus blush can leave me looking very mime-y. And last, but certainly not least, it must be fragrance-free or at least scented to a barely discernible degree. Fragrance can be a sneaky skin irritant, and I would rather my face didn’t smell like cloying coconuts or shampoo. I dutifully tested a massive pile of sunscreens of every creed with all the aforementioned criteria in mind. It’s true that you won’t like using sunscreen until you find sunscreen you like using. Here are 12 to consider Best for Sensitive Skin EltaMD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46/ First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Pure Mineral Sunscreen Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 40elta md SKINCARE - UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46 FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Pure Mineral Sunscreen Moisturizer SPF 40 Frequently, and deservedly name-checked by dermatologists (Dr. Marmur is a fan), this SPF-46 formulation goes on clear, is full of niacinamide (an anti-inflammatory vitamin B3 derivative), and crucially, it won’t give you zits. “I love it because it’s sensitive enough to use if you have acne, dryness or rosacea but also isn’t greasy for those with oily skin Best for No-Frills Folks SkinCeuticals Light Moisture UV Defense SPF 50/ Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Lotion SPF 30 Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 A basic sunscreen is not a bad thing. This one feels not unlike your favorite pared-down, lightweight body moisturizer: hydrating without leaving any residue. It’s equally suitable for face and body which saves you the trouble of having to buy a second sunscreen Best for Makeup Wearers Supergoop City Sunscreen Serum SPF 30/ Drunk Elephant Umbra Tinte Physical Daily Defense SPF 30 Supergoop! - Superscreen Daily Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 40 PA+++ DRUNK ELEPHANT - Umbra Tinte Physical Daily Defense Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 30 Though called a serum, it’s more akin to a moisturizer—a silky, featherweight moisturizer at that. Upon application, it sinks right into the skin, has a smooth finish and won’t compete with any makeup you top it with. It makes for a very easy swap for the morning moisturizer currently in your skin care routine. Best for Serum-Lovers Solid & Striped Face Sunscreen/ Glossier Invisible Shield Daily Sunscreen SPF 35 Bumble and bumble. - Solid & Striped Surf Spray, Malibu Beach Glossier. - Invisible Shield Daily Sunscreen The best compliment that you can pay to a sunscreen is that it doesn’t seem like a sunscreen. And this facial formula— the first skin-care product from swimwear brand Solid & Striped—feels nothing like a sunscreen and everything like a lightweight serum. This appealing quality made remembering to use it very easy. That it looks a bit moist and dewy on the skin also helps Best for Dry Skin Vive Sana Daily Protezione/ Origins A Perfect World Age-Defense Skin Guardian With White Tea ORIGINS - A Perfect World Age-Defense Skin Guardian with White Tea The zinc-based formula is rich and immensely hydrating (it’s full of argan oil), like a solid night cream. On the skin that lushness reads as a subtle glow, precluding the need for highlighter (if that’s your thing). For the moisture-starved among us, this natural sunscreen will feel like a revelation Best for the Chemical-Shy Coola Mineral Sun Silk Crème Organic Sunscreen SPF 30/ Clinique Mineral Sunscreen Fluid for Face Broad Spectrum SPF 50 CLINIQUE - Broad Spectrum SPF 50 Mineral Sunscreen Fluid for Face COOLA - Full Spectrum 360° Mineral Sun Silk Moisturizer SPF 30 Formulating mineral sunscreens so that they A) aren’t so dense they become unwieldy; and B) don’t leave a ghostly veil on your face, can be a tricky business. The mineral sunscreens I tested rarely felt weightless, but this one proved to be a true exception. It has the added benefit of protecting against infrared and HEV (aka, the blue light emanating from all your various devices

Facial oils - my experience
Even though I have combination skin, I try to incorporate facial oils in my routine. I feel like they are the bodyguard for our skin, they seal all the products underneath. I have tried two oils till now and here is what I thought: Initially when I used the Biossance oil I thought it worked great, but my skin started breaking out very badly after3-4days and I stopped using the oil all together. I was very scared to use facial oil after my bad experience with this. BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil Then I came across Drunk elephant and with all those glimmering reviews I decided to give Marula oil a try and I never regretted it. My skin didn’t break out at all. And the oil also gets absorbed by my skin quickly and doesn't leave an oily icky residue. I especially love using this at night, when I have more time to massage my face. It minimizes the tugging from facial tools or friction from your fingers. Not everyone likes or needs oils on their face; but if you do, then don’t think twice before buying this! :)DRUNK ELEPHANT - Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil

Are Face Oils Worth It? 🌿💦
I received the DRUNK ELEPHANT - Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil as a sample with my DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial Mask a while back. I have been using it after Babyfacial as a way to help calm my skin after the chemical exfoliant have bulldozed through. Personally I didn’t actually find this oil super soothing after using Babyfacial. The texture of the oil felt great on my skin, but I didn’t see it reduce redness even after it being on for a few minutes. When it comes to the ingredient list there are some great ingredients in here for sure when it comes to hydrating and soothing the skin, but there are also a few that contribute to fungal acne (an issue I struggle with) and are comedogenic. They say there is no fragrance in this product, but I’m not a huge fan of the smell as I find it quite strong. Will I be repurchasing - Probably not. I love luxury skincare but I’ve never really found that face oils do it for me.. I rather do a mask or have a long bath instead of using an oil to feel pampered. *Disclaimer - I do not support Drunk Elephant in the ways they treat not only their staff, but also their customers.*

Drunk Elephant Line Rapid Review: Part 1
Drunk Elephant Line Rapid Review: Part 1
Brief peeks into my latest opinions of various Drunk Elephant products: • DRUNK ELEPHANT - Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser Deluxe Sample is a deep-cleaning gel cleanser that is strong enough to take off sweat and sunscreen, but I find it needs a primary cleanse if I’m wearing makeup. Can be bit harsh if I’m having an eczema flare-up but is otherwise gentle and good for most skin. • DRUNK ELEPHANT - Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser is a super gentle balm cleanser that I love to leave on as a moisturizing mask before I use it to wash off my makeup. Doesn’t irritate my eyes and is perfect for sensitive skin. • DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum is a potent vitamin c serum that lightens hyperpigmentation very well within months of use. However, it is too potent for my skin, so I dilute it heavily if I use it. • DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Resurfacing Night Serum makes skin so soft and smooth! It helps bumpy texture wonderfully. Again, super potent- I have to be sure to use a small amount dilute in a serum and applied over top of my moisturizer. Improves skin texture very fast. • DRUNK ELEPHANT - Lala Retro Whipped Cream is and always will be a favourite. Creamy yet fluffy. Rich and quenching. Perfect for sensitive skin. Never leaves me shiny! • DRUNK ELEPHANT - F-Balm Electrolyte Waterfacial Mask is another favourite- it’s perfect for dehydrated, dry, or sensitive skin. I always use it after an acid product to prevent inflammation and sensitivity. A surprising texture, due to the beads of fatty acids, and it soaks in quickly. • DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial Mask is so, so, so potent! It’s amazing. A single use leaves my skin baby soft and glowing. However, the potency that gives instant results makes it so strong that I can only use it every other week. But I’ll keep doing so because it’s so wonderful feeling my smooth, soft skin afterwards. • DRUNK ELEPHANT - Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil is the best oil I’ve ever tried in terms of super fast absorption and lack of shine. It leaves me dewy, not greasy, and a couple drops is the perfect boost to my moisturizers. It is a bit pricy though considering I only use it in the PM unless it’s winter, making the quick absorption only important for 3 months of the year. • DRUNK ELEPHANT - Umbra Sheer Physical Daily Defense Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 30 No white cast, no tingling, no congestion. Buuut I am a little shiny if I use this in the summer, so this is my preferred winter sunscreen and would be perfect for dry-skinned folks.

Overkill?
Overkill?
New here! So I recently started my skin care journey. I’m 32, 15 weeks postpartum and nursing, dealing with some fine line and wrinkles, melasma, and overall uneven texture. Got some recommendations from friends and this is the regimen I’ve been sticking to the last 3 months. I have noticed improved texture, improved melasma. Fine lines and wrinkles and large pores are still a work in progress. Open to any and all advice that is nursing friendly ☺️

Honest Drunk Elephant Opinion
Honest Drunk Elephant Opinion
First post HI💓 Background: I do love DE, but there are hiccups for me in their products and things that aren’t my favorite though that doesn’t change the fact that I use these products constantly lol. Just take the good with the bad, no product is perfect. 🧐Virgin Marula: I have an oily t-zone and skin that breaks out from anything it doesn’t like almost right away so I was super anxious when it came to this and Ignored it for a while. If you use too much, I find I break out, especially if I do not rub it in but I defiantly do not think I could live without it. 🧐B-Hydra: so I know you’re meant to use this along with other products in the line... but I just don’t see much come out of it. Maybe because my skin is not on the dry side but I just do not see a difference when I use/ don’t use this. I do like the feeling it leaves though on my skin, it sinks in right away and doesn’t stay on the surface. It almost makes my skin feel dryer ... >update 9/2020/ so the reason that b hydra & I don’t get along is because it’s a hyaluronic acid... the acid “molecules” are large and doesnt skin into my skin because it doesn’t need the extra moisture so I just break out from it. < 🧐Beste: I had a problem with this little guy when I first got it. Something it in crystallized and i, for some, still used it seeing these weird beads in it and started to bleed lol. I did switch from my fresh beauty soy face cleanser to this. I wouldn’t say that it is a must have. I feel like there are other cleansers that take the grime away better but this does the trick. I think if I was a foundation lover that this would also affectly remove it... 🧐Umbre: Another I cannot live without I do wear this DAILY. No chemical smells, just some baby break outs from it from time to time that I’ve noticed as this product has gotten older. (I’ve also put it through the ringer by leaving it in the hot Florida sun on more than 10 occasions so that def changed its texture..) My skin looks so much better after wearing it. And I love this size to carry everywhere when I need to re-apply. I am not so fair where I burn, but with using this my freckles do not come out as much, which I find to be a plus. Tea Party with Drunt Elephant “The Littles”
Tea Party with Drunt Elephant “The Littles”
Afternoon tea party with @drunkelephant The Littles™ ☕️ . . Took a break from my usual K-skincare routine to test this highly praised kit~ made everything easy as 1,2,3! . . I start my morning routine with Beste Jelly Cleanser this has a gel texture that lathers thinly and leaves the skin soft to touch. then I mix 1. 🍊C-Firma: beautifully formulated anti oxidant serum with L-Ascorbic & Ferulic Acids, Pumpkin Ferment Extract & Sodium Hyaluronate ; 2. 🍍B-Hydra: an ultra hydrating serum packed with pineapple ceramide & pro-vit B5 3. 🍃 Protini: a protein moisturizer comprised of peptides, amino acids & Pygmy water lily then I take my time on applying, gently massaging C-Tango multivitamin eye cream: texture is oh so dreamy, buttery, melts beautifully, absorbs well and leaves the skin around my eyes feeling silky and moisturized. Has 8-peptides, five forms of vitamin C & cucumber extract. Dream team am I right? Finishing it with the most important part of my am routine: Sunscreen. I use the Umbra Tinte Physical Sunscreen (SPF30) this gives me a sunkissed glow that I love so much! It has a tan-like tint in it and I couldn’t be more glad that it suits my skin so well. This beauty subtly covers my acne marks, blemishes. A great base too. It’s like I’m glowing from within and I’m living for that :) . . My pm routine is almost the same: i use my oil based cleanser, followed by Beste, tone, mix 1. 🧪 TLC Framboos Serum (2-3x a week; as a spot treatment): this is formulated with Glycolic,Lactic,Tartaric, Citric, Salicylic Acids blended with Raspberry Extract & horse Chestnut, 2. B-Hydra, 3. Protini then always taking my time with C-Tango, Sealing it all off with the lightest oil I ever put on my face: Virgin Marula Oil. A multi-use luxurious oil that just perfect for chilly & drying weather. This makes me look like a glazed donut 🍩 I even use it for my lips & hands. I try mixing it with my foundation too and my goodness, I’m dewy, face soft and I’m glowing ✨ . emptied B-Hydra, Protini, C-Tango, not quite ready to say goodbye to others. Ok, I’m officially #drunkinlove 🐘 #drunklife #drunkelephant

Protecting My Acne Prone Skin☀️💦
Protecting My Acne Prone Skin☀️💦
💦 I have sensitive combination skin and my main concern that I deal with is hormonal breakouts which when not treated correctly are cystic, red and painful. 💦Currently my skin is recovering beautifully from the usual hormonal breakout around my cheek area. I still have some leftover hyperpigmentation from it but I’m actively treating that and seeing RESULTS with this routine, especially this Vitamin C oil which I also use to protect my skin from Boston’s harsh pollution. ✨Protini! This is my favorite moisturizer for my skin. It hydrates, doesn’t feel sticky and plays well with other products and make-up. I discovered this through Drunk Elephant and other skincare bloggers and have been in love ever since. Yes there are cheaper moisturizers out there but this plumps skin so gorgeously I don’t want to look for another. I use this after cleansing my skin and on occasion I’ll add a Hyaluronic acid serum before this. Pro tip- apply hydrating serums and then moisturizers to your face in that order WHILE your skin is still wet to prevent transepidermal water loss from happening to your skin! I’ve been using this for over a year and adore it. ✨Leah Rose + Glow Oil! This is the most stunning facial oil I’ve ever found and it’s made by a small and newer business. My favorite things about this are the squalane for hydration and vitamin C for after my acne to get rid of that redness. It’s also a very brightening ingredient too. I love using an oil after moisturizer because it locks everything in and gives that extra boost of hydration. I’ve been using this for about half a year and will definitely be repurchasing. ✨Centella Green Level Unscented Sunscreen! This is a new sunscreen for me but regardless I believe SPF is THE SINGLE most important item to use to protect your skin from sun damage. This makes the skin feel smooth, is SPF 50 and doesn’t leave a white cast. I just got this this week and am already in love. It plays well with other products and of course protects you from damaging rays. Pro tip- your skin can be damaged by the sun through windows so even though we’re mostly stuck inside, it’s important to keep this in your skincare routine to prevent damage. Sunscreen also helps with my skin redness and for my acne! 💦This routine is one I fully stand by and discovered through other bloggers and just trial and error using a lot of products and figuring out the best way to lock in moisture for my skin. I love it and don’t plan on changing it up any time soon! What’s your favorite routine to protect your skin?
