Full Lips in 3 Simple Steps

Ditch the lip filler, here are my tips on how you can achieve fuller lips as easy as 1-2-3...Literally!!! 1. Using a deeper toned lipliner, line your lips with extra focus on the cupid’s bow and right under the bottom lip to contour the lips. My favourite lipliner to use for this is KKW Beauty Nude 1. KKW BEAUTY - KKW BEAUTY Nude Lip Liner
2. Apply a lipstick that is lighter than the lipliner you used to the center of the lips. This is going to act as highlight, and will make your lips pop, creating the illusion of a full round pout. I love KKW Beauty Nude 1 Lipstick for this step. KKW BEAUTY - KKW BEAUTY Matte Lipsticks
3. You could leave it at that but if you want that extra little lift to take your lips to the next level, pop a bit of gloss to the very center of your lips. I love the Maybelline Lifter Glosses, here I used “Ice”. MAYBELLINE - Lifter Gloss With Hyaluronic Acid
Contouring allows people to transform their face, and often people don’t realize you can contour and transform your lips as well! This super easy 3 step process is my favourite way to make my lips look a lot fuller than they actually are!

My favorite lip gloss
I’ve never been a huge fan of lip gloss. I don’t enjoy the sticky feeling or heavy fragrance that is usually associated with them. And then I tried MAYBELLINE - Lifter Gloss With Hyaluronic Acid and fell in love! I actually have two other shades but they live in my car. This gloss is not sticky or heavy and it looks so nice on. I love the slight tingling sensation it causes as well. If you haven’t given this a try yet, what are you waiting for?!

My husband won’t kiss me anymore
He has an aversion to the texture and taste of lip gloss and lipstick. Not only that but he watched me walk up to a “trending” display of a major brand instead of the yellow tag clearance and pick out a fancifully packaged gloss. To his credit, he helped me choose a shade (Silk). But he really doesn’t know who I am anymore and so has thus been suspicious of me when I wear this. Nevertheless... This was trending months ago but like many people I have been a little flabbergasted by this year’s unwavering and speedy trajectory into the spiral vortex of suck. So I had to wait til the Hype Train made its second round to hop on. A few things: if you are the type who wants your lips to look like you’ve had work done or you’re cosplaying as Fungus from Monsters, Inc. you may not be satisfied with the plumping effect of this stuff. Honestly the most natural route is to just cut open a jalapeño and smear that on your lips. Then your husband really won’t kiss you. Frankly, I don’t like scrubbing or irritating my lips into perkiness the same way I don’t want coffee overdosing to make me a more cheerful person before 10am. This stuff is called lifter and it lifts. My lips are more plump than before and there’s no stinging to get them there. Additionally there is a mild but pleasant cinnamon flavor, not like a cinnamon gum harshness but a gentle apple pie type of cinnamon. It’s actually very pleasant. Speaking of coffee, that stuff makes my lips drier than a mummy’s armpit before I can finish a single cup, and trust me — I teach how to use commas to twelve-year-olds, so when I say this product actually kept my lips hydrated through my morning video lessons, it’s a miracle. Overall, for $7 this stuff is awesome and I’m definitely buying more once my other glosses are done for. I may never be kissed again but man are my lips soft. . Cute hairstyle with a little assist
Cute hairstyle with a little assist
In order to manage my hair while it was growing out during my months of work from home, I incorporated extensions in some of my hairstyles. I know you might be wondering why I was wearing extensions, the answer is I had a lot of work meetings that took place over zoom and I needed to look halfway presentable. My go to hairstyle was a half up/ half down look as I didn’t have to use so many pieces in my hair I just needed to add some length as my hair had not yet reached my shoulders. I used some extensions I had from irresistible me (do not recommend at all!) but I cut them from 22 inches to about shoulder length in order to get the style I wanted. I basically only used the three largest wefts that came in my bundle back in order to give my hair that added length as my hair is pretty thick and full naturally. Again I don’t recommend the irresistible me hair extensions, there are actually much better brands out there like Bellami that are worth the money. #CheriePartner

How to Make Your Beauty Bones Pop in One Minute?
How to Make Your Beauty Bones Pop in One Minute?
Clavicles (aka your collarbones) are sometimes referred to as beauty bones for a reason - the more defined those lines are, the more “lifted” and dancer-like you’ll look! Collarbone contouring is not something I do every day, but it’s no longer a trick exclusively for red carpet events either. Since it’s the season of exposed collarbones, I like to pull out this trick when I’m in an off-shoulder dress or spaghetti strap top, ready for parties and drinks.   You may not have tried it, but collarbone contouring is actually pretty easy. Essentially only two things are required: a bronzer and a highlighter - nothing different from what you use for contouring your face. I use MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Face Powder #Dark as an alternative to bronzer. It’s a slow-baked powder that has a super fine texture. This colour I use is two to three shades darker than my skin tone and has low-level pearlized pigments, so it adds dimension to my collarbone area in a very natural way. I also like how it works on foundation-less skin: it blurs pores, fine lines and sunspot effortlessly! For highlighter I use the MAC - Extra Dimension Skinfinish Highlighter#Double Gleam. It’s a liquid powder highlighter with prismatic reflections. With just a smidgen of it, I find my skin shine with a soft, luminous glow. With the right products, contouring per se is easy. First draw some dark lines along the outline of your collarbones using the bronzer; then sweep some highlighter on top. Use a fluffy brush to blend well - you’re all set! Make sure to buff those harsh lines away, because we want a dimensional yet natural look. Now, change into your favourite low-cut dress and turn some heads with your sexy beauty bones!

Fave Cute Hairstyle - Top Knot + Big Scrunchie
Fave Cute Hairstyle - Top Knot + Big Scrunchie
This has been one of my go-to hairstyles lately, it’s super easy and quick and works the best on dirty hair! I typically only wash my hair 2 times a week so I’m always looking for cute styles to keep my hair looking good between washes (and out of my face). My hair is long, fine in texture and is naturally blonde but has also been colour-treated with bleach. Here’s the steps I take to achieve this fun style! 1️⃣ Start with at least day-old hair; the more texture & grit your hair has the better this style seems to look and the easier it is to achieve. 2️⃣ I brush through my hair with my fingers and pull it back and up as if I’m going to put it in a pony. 3️⃣ Next, after getting the placement that I want (I always do mine quite high up) I begin to twist it around itself until it’s formed a knot. 4️⃣ I then take a coiled pony tail like the invisibobble - The Traceless Hair Ring and wrap it twice around my knot. These pony tails in particular work best at holding my hair in place without squishing my top knot. 5️⃣ Sometimes I just leave the knot as is, but when I want to amp up the style and add a little something extra, I’ll throw on a scrunchie like this Philocaly one. I love how fluffy and unique this one is and the colour is so cute! All I do is basically set it on the base of the top knot, I don’t wrap it around. 6️⃣ I recently discovered that using a clear brow gel to brush back my baby hairs works SO WELL! This essence - Lash & Brow Gel Mascara is super affordable (under $5) and does a great job at holding my baby hairs in place to give me a more polished, put together look. 7️⃣ Lastly, I always add a cute hair clip of some sort to the back of my hair to hold up the shorter pieces and smooth everything out. This one is from Walmart and is under $5 - I have so many of them, I love them!
