I am no makeup expert but having this brush has definitely helped me a lot. It’s great for placing eyeshadow down firstly and an awesome blending brush. It can also pack eyeshadow on the lid very well. Even though it is a small brush you can use this to add highlight to the cheekbones and contour your nose. The bristles are extremely soft so you don’t feel like your spiking your eyelid with every stroke like I’ve felt with other brand brushes. It’s easy to wash and because it is white you can definately see when it needs to be cleaned. I just love it. It’s affordable and well worth buying. MORPHE - M433 Pro Firm Blending Fluff Brush

Editorial ULTRA COLOR Mask Eye Look
Don’t you guys just love experimenting with color? I figure it’s only a matter of time before we start seeing more editorial eyeshadow looks paired with masks. I went kind of crazy here with this one but I ended up loving it a lot! Wouldn’t wear it to the grocery store though... 😂 Here’s my how to and my thoughts on each product I used: Brows. Brush out your brow hairs. Apply a tinted brow gel and a brow pencil to your liking. I used e.l.f. - Ultra Precise Brow Pencil e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel these are wonderful drugstore options. I have repurchased each of them multiple times and tbh I don’t really understand overspending on brow products. Base. Lightly conceal your eyelid + undereye. I blended it out with my finger. I used Milk MAKEUP - Flex Concealer which is one of my favorites, however I am no longer supporting milk makeup in light of their past racist actions in their internal corporate culture. I then set the concealer on my eyelid with a neutral powder. The craze begins. I am using the URBAN DECAY - Electric Pressed Pigment Palette which is a holy grail of mine. Highly recommend this if you can get your hands on one. It lasts forever and the pigment is insane. I started out with the shade “jilted” blended out on my lower lash line up into a mini wing with e.l.f. - Eyeshadow "C" Brush —east drugstore brush, I like it a lot. The craze continues. Then I took the shade “gonzo” on MORPHE - M421 Mini Concealer Brush —I used this brush as a liner brush— to outline my top liner and my crease for later. Then I blended the blue out upward with my favorite blending brushes MORPHE - M433 Pro Firm Blending Fluff Brush MORPHE - M456 Mini Firm Blending Brush . GLITTER! I took the #Tarte - Glitter Liner[products]#[ThreeStars] which is OK IMO but I don’t support Tarte anymore and this burns my eyes. This is the only glitter liner I had tho. Sorry. I took this to line my crease, I have hooded eyes so I went high, and I used it as an outer liner and connected them. Even crazier. Then I took MORPHE - M421 Mini Concealer Brush and wet it with MILANI - Make It Last Prime + Correct + Set Setting Spray , dipped it in “jilted” and covered my eyelid with it. Liner + Lashes: Then I took URBAN DECAY - Perversion Waterproof Fine-Point Eye Pen which is my NEW FAV! I lined over our blue line from earlier and drew high and low lines on the wing to leave space for the glitter to poke through a little diamond. I then finished the look with Milk MAKEUP - Kush Waterproof Mascara —this is awful, don’t use it—and some extra lil lines I found portrayed lashes in an abstract way. I finished up my repeating on the opposite side with different colors. It’s not perfect, but it’s fun! #CheriePartner
☀️Nothing does more damage to skin than the sun, so I’ve been trying to be diligent with my sunscreen. It is the final step of every daytime skincare ritual. Where I am falling short is in the reapplication throughout the day… especially if I am wearing makeup. . . 😎The Sunforgettable total protection brush on shield SPF 50 highlights include: · Chemical-free, mineral sunscreen actives · Hydrating and antioxidant-rich · Water/sweat resistant (80 minutes) · Convenient, easy-to-apply, portable brush · Antimicrobial bristles help protect the brush and maintain freshness · convenient, on-the-go application—alone or over makeup. · Broad Spectrum Sunscreen UVA PA++++/ UVB SPF 50 . . . . 🔮 I don’t know what sorcery it is, but the shade is perfect. Not an ashy trace in sight (impressive for an all mineral sunscreen on my complexion!). The powder is finely milled, enough to even use under my eyes. I can reapply on its own for sheer coverage or over makeup without any disruption. I have found love and my future self rejoices. The only thing I will note is that there are only 4 shades and I’m the darkest in shade ‘deep’, so I am not sure how someone darker in complexion would fare.

Hello! 💗 If you want a really good beauty blender but don’t want to pay so much, these are literally $5 at Walmart or Target...pretty much anywhere they carry e.l.f brand products. I have had this for a whole year and a half now and look how well it’s held up! 💗 The blending job this does is fairly good. I have used it this long and haven’t tossed it out :) so I clearly really like it though everyone has different preferences with beauty blenders. This is not a firm one, it is very soft and squeeze-able. And when it’s wet (which I never use beauty blenders dry) it gets about x3 the size it is when it’s wet, so keep that in mind :) Overall if something happened to this one I WOULD buy another because they’re SO affordable and do a really good job 💗 e.l.f. - Total Face Sponge

Favorite Eye Shadow Brush
This is my favorite eyeshadow brush!! This is the Sigma E40 tapered blending brush. I use this everyday for blending eyeshadow into my crease. It’s the most amazing crease brush. It’s so soft and picks up the color really gently. It then blends perfectly on the skin. It is so soft and easy to glide back and forth. I definitely recommend this brush!

The only 2 makeup brushes you’ll ever need
Whether you’re new to applying eyeshadows or just seeking those 2 go-to brushes for your collection I believe that you NEED to invest in these brushes now! SIGMA - E40 Tapered Blending Brush The definition of a classic, trust me you will use this cult-favorite, fluffy fiber brush every day for eyeshadow application and blending. The Sigma E40 Tapered Blending Brush is best used for softening harsh lines or applying a transition color to the crease. The soft head will gently apply color, and is also ideal for placing highlight products on the brow bone. I bought this maybe two years ago now and it is still my favorite brush. The brush becomes fluffier once washed. I mainly use this brush to start with applying my base shadow all over my lids then blending out any harsh shadows. This is a tool for beginners and experts alike and I would recommend this to anyone who is on the hunt for an eyeshadow blending brush and it makes blending effortless. I've never had any issues with the bristles falling out and the tapered edge and fluffy head of fibers make this brush super soft to use and extremely easy to work with. I would also highly recommend the E40 Tapered Blending Brush if you have hooded eyes. MORPHE - M453 Crease Blending Brush The Morphe M453 pointed, fluffy brush is my favourite in their collection. It’s easy to be overwhelmed with the fantastic amount of brushes on offer by Morphe, but I recommend starting with this one. Like the Sigma brush, it washes very well and lasts a good few years if looked after properly. I use this brush to apply a darker colour into my crease and outer corner of my eye. The M453 is pointed yet fluffy so targets the crease well whilst blending out into your eye for a professional finish.

NABLA COSMETICS WHITE ROSE EYE BRUSH SET € 46,00 (approx $52usd) This brush set is part of the nabla holiday collection. It includes 10 synthetic eye brushes and bronze faux leather case. The brushes are travel sized with shorter handles and the set includes a liner brush, a large and a detailed smudger brush, a large and a precision smudger, a soft crease brush, buffer brush, small pencil brush, cut crease brush and a flat detailer brush. I've tried all of the brushes at least once and the only one that I don't care for is the liner brush. It's too flexible for my liking. I especially love the cut crease brush and the tiny little pencil brush. The brushes are well made and I suspect that they'll hold up well over time. Second pic: The collection also includes a fan brush and highlighter brush with a gold leaf pattern on the handles. They're €11,50 each or approximately $13 usd. The highlighter brush is the same shape as the one from their summer collection but I think that the handle is longer. I love the highlighter brush because of the small tapered shape that allows for precise application. I haven't used the highlighter brush yet but it's very soft and has a nice density.

These wetnwildbeauty PAC MAN brushes are probably my favorite part of the entire collection! They're super soft and the floating confetti handles are mesmerizing. Both brushes are already sold out and I'm not sure if they'll be restocked as it's a collab but you can still get them in the sets.

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
