Dry Lips?? I Don’t Know Her!
This is my holy grail lip product! This can cure even the most chapped lips in a single night or a couple of hours! All the flavors are wonderful and the consistency isn’t too sticky! The price is great especially because the amount of product lasts a long time! This could easily be used as a daily chapstick because it is light enough, however I tend to stick to nighly use! Tried and True
I have been using this moisturizer for years and have never had any complaints! It keeps my skin insanely hydrated even with weather changes! It never feels too heavy or sticky. It absorbs so nicely and works well with all my other skincare products! It is a great price for the amount you get in the container! I just absolutely love this product and have never come across anything that works better for my skin! I have tried both the normal water gel and the extra dry formula pictured but the extra dry works best in the winter time for me! Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Water Gel

Hi Gems! We are now in the full swing of October so it’s time to review what I emptied in September! DevaCurl - One Condition Decadence for Super Curly Hair This conditioner was good for my damaged curls! It provided enough hydration, but I didn’t love how it felt going into my hair. I loved the subtle scent of and the bright packaging! Although this conditioner is great, it is pricy especially when I use so much of it! I have since moved on to trying another curly girl conditioner that I will review soon! JERGENS - Natural Glow Instant Sun Mousse This has been my go to drugstore self tanner for a while now! I never have any issues with it streaking when combined with my tanning mitt and it fades well. The smell is pretty bad and it can be very sticky, so I only leave it on for around 5-6 hours and use baby powder to combat stickiness! The color is great and not too orange! ogx - Renewing Argan Oil Of Morocco Weightless Healing Dry Oil I love this hair oil! It smells amazing AND tackles my frizzy curls like a champ! It is truly weightless and never leaves my hair feeling oily or weighed down! If you have trouble with frizz or just want your hair to look healthy this is definitely for you! I will be repurchasing! Fruit of the Earth - Aloe Vera 100% Gel Every girl needs a trust worthy aloe vera gel in her beauty line up and this is a fantastic one! This gel doesn’t have any added color which is why I like it! I use this on my face and my hair! For my face, it helps to hydrate and heal imperfections. I use it in my hair to help hydrate and lock my curl pattern making it a staple in my hair care routine! Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Hydrating Cleansing Gel I have been using this cleanser for months and it has never failed me! It foams wonderfully and has a minimal fragrance! It is reasonably priced and never makes my skin feel striped, which is always a concern with cleansing. The Hydro Boost line is one of my favorites but I am a huge fan of trying new things though, so I am testing out a different cleanser this month! DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Resurfacing Night Serum I got this in a trial size to test it out because they’re products are so expensive! The packaging is adorable, but it’s what’s inside that counts! I honestly didn’t see a huge difference in my complexion and overall it didn’t wow me. LOVE beauty AND planet - Coconut Water & Mimosa Flower Radical Refresher Body Wash This body wash smells HEAVENLY and the packaging is adorable! However, it doesn’t leave me feeling as hydrated as I should or as other washes have! TRADER JOE'S - Nourish Hyaluronic Moisture Boost Serum This serum was great and inexpensive! It always leaves my face feeling super hydrated and supple! It lasted me a long time which made my really happy!

The Ordinary First Impressions
This is my first product by The Ordinary! I love the aesthetic packaging and the simplistic honesty of the brand. I’ve used almost half of the peeling solution now and have seen improvements in the size of my pores and my blackheads! I use it once a week and am careful not to mix with retinol ever. It creates a stinging sensations sometimes, but as long as you don’t leave it in for more than 10 minutes it’s okay! I will definitely continue to incorporate this into my skincare routine and would recommend trying it out considering it is so reasonably priced! The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution

LOVE This Oil
I absolutely love Bio-Oil! I use this oil on both my body and my face every single day! It hydrates my skin so well and keeps my tone and texture even! It has drastically reduced the appearance of scars and stretch marks as well. The oil also has a great scent that doesn’t linger too long. There are so many benefits to this skincare oil, it is a must have in your routine!

5 Tips for Diffusing Curls
5 Tips for Diffusing Natural Curls: 1. Hover Diffuse to Maintain Length: What it is - Hovering the diffuser with the air coming from the sides of the curls with the hair dryer barrel parallel to the floor. What it does - This keeps the curls’ maximum length while drying. You will most likely get some shrinkage as your hair dries, but not as much as with cupping curls! 2. Root Lift for Volume: Place the teeth of your diffuser directly on your scalp a few inches from the root, and then push the hair up with the diffuser. This will lift the hair at your root and hold it in place while drying - the result is amazing volume. 3. Cup Curls for Volume: This is likely what you think when you hear of diffusing curls. Take small sections of hair and cup the curls in the bowl of the diffuser. I usually stay on a section for 30 seconds to a minute and then I move to a different section. Repeat until curls are dry. This method helps give your curls lots of spring and maximum volume. 4. Gently Move Your Curls While Diffusing: This one is very important! While diffusing, moving your curls from side to side (and even drying with your head upside down) will help create volume. You want to move your curls around with caution - the last thing we want to do is disrupt those curl clumps we formed while applying products! Gently use your hand to “sweep” your curls from side to side, being sure to keep clumps intact. Once your hair is fully dry is when you pull the clumps apart. 5. Wait Until Curls Are Completely Dry Before Sepeeating Clumps: Don’t try and manipulate/part your curls until they are 100% dry! This will help prevent unnecessary frizz and keep your curls looking gorgeous. *I always diffuse with low heat and low speed, give it a try but feel free to play around and see what works for you! xtava - Black Orchid Hair Diffuser xtava - 1875W Pro Hair Dryer - Salon Blow Dryer ECOSLAY - Banana Cream Hot Head Thermal Hair Care - Jeweled Hot Head MopTop - Gentle Shampoo ECOSLAY - Orange Marmalade #CherieCreator

SKINCARE FORMULA SIZES
Personally I use wayyy to much cleanser and moisturizer until I found this on Huda Beauty's blog a while back. Reason why I run out of products so quickly and this leads to me breaking the bank. Try using this while following the step by step method post on how to apply your skincare routine both am and pm. (my posts)
6 Different Types Of Acne & How To Prevent Them
We know how frustrating (and upsetting) acne breakouts can be, especially if they’re long-lasting or badly timed, but about 80% of people experience acne, so if your skin is acting up, you’re not the only one.
I would die for this eye cream
I thought eye cream was unnecessary & lowkeye still kind of do but I am so in love with this one. She is thiccccccc, smells amazing and makes my concealer apply 10x better under my eyes. I have sunken under eyes by genetics (🙄) so I don’t noice help with that obv but I see a huge improvement with under eye brightness! This is prob thanks to the vitamin c, collagen & banana goodness. I also notice that it seems to ‘fill in’ some of the texture or wrinkles under my eyes. So obv 10/10 & I just cannot get over the texture it is sooooo good. #OLEHENRIKSEN - Banana Bright Eye Crème[products]#[FiveStars]
Products That Make Me Glow! ☀️
I have sensitive combination skin so finding products that make me glow can be tough but I have found gentle products that work for me! Glowing isn’t just about exfoliation either. Vitamin C is brightening for skin so that helps with glow too! Here are some of my favorites: 1. Honeymoon Glow by Farmacy ✨ Key Ingredients- AHA, flower acids and honey ✨ Honeymoon Glow is an nighttime resurfacing serum that for me gets rid of breakouts and leaves me glowing the next morning. It tingles a bit when first applied but that quickly stops. I couldn’t go without this one and if I didn’t already have a back-up, I’d be repurchasing with the current Sephora sale! ✨ I like to use acids like this with a stronger nightly moisturizer like Healing Ointment by CeraVe! I use this maybe twice a week at most. 2. Rose + Glow Oil by Leah Skin ✨ Key Ingredients- Vitamin C and Squalane ✨ This oil is a game changer💕 Vitamin C brightens skin gorgeously but always use with SPF! I use it morning and night and notice significant changes in dark spots overnight. Over weeks I’ve seen major transformations in my skin. I have super sensitive skin and get hormonal breakouts so I’m talking from a MESS to smooth and plump. It has squalane and a stable form of Vitamin C that plays nicely with other Vitamin C and even retinol. ✨ Because it is more stable than others, it also lasts significantly longer- this bottle being good for a year after opening compared to some of my others which expire as quickly as 3 months. It is clean, in glass packaging and adorable. I will definitely be repurchasing this once I finish it! 3. Enzyme Powder Polish by Sand & Sky ✨Key ingredients- Australian Glow Berries, Papaya Fruit Enzymes, Quandong and Davidson Plum, Aloe Vera and Jojoba oils for brightening, smoothing, soothing and nourishing skin. It also has their Kaolin clay in it too! ✨This is now my preferred type of wash-off exfoliant. It starts as a powder then you add a little bit of water and rub it into a foam. After massaging on skin for 15 seconds, you simply wash off and go on with the rest of your routine. It makes my skin feel SO SOFT and helps remove any dryness or peeling. It’s super gentle on the skin but really effective and pairs beautifully with retinol as well. ✨This starts as a white powder but when you add water, you get that classic pink Sand & Sky color. Pro-tip, it took me about two tries to get the ratios correct- if you add too little water, you’ll get a paste and if you add too much, it’ll absorb into your hands. You want a light pink foam. So you want to start using a retinol...
So you want to start using a retinol.. that’s awesome! But you may be asking yourself how do I start incorporating this into my routine? Are there products I can’t mix with it? Any precautions I need to take? I want to shed a little bit of light on those questions. (Disclaimer: this is a beginners guide. Not intended for those already experienced with retinol) Firstly, what is retinol? A retinol is a form of Vitamin A and is one of the most effective anti-aging treatments on the market. It is really amazing for repairing deep damage within the skin like fine lines/wrinkles, acne scars, dark spots etc. I personally have oily skin that is acne prone with hyperpigmentation so I use mine to help treat those concerns. When should I be applying a retinol? Hypothetically you can apply it at any time. If you want to use it during the day you can BUT I recommend using it at night because it can make your skin photosensitive to the sun. That being said you must ALWAYS pair a retinol with a sunscreen or else you’re not going to see the results you want (you might just get the opposite). It’s like waiting for an oven to preheat but the door is wide open. It just doesn’t work. How often should I be applying a retinol? This is a product where you slowly have to work your way to using it. I currently am using The Ordinary - Retinol 0.5% in Squalane . I am using this every Sunday night for a few weeks until my skin gets used to the ingredient. Then I’m slowly going to be working my way up to twice a week and then three times a week maximum. I apply this right after my toner and before any heavier treatments per The Ordinary’s instructions. The formula is very runny and feels like a lighter version of an oil. It doesn’t leave my face feeling oily or greasy. Is there anything I can’t mix with a retinol? Technically no.. /but/ I personally wouldn’t recommend mixing it with an AHA or BHA. While retinol increases cell turn over, a chemical exfoliator like an AHA or BHA helps shed off the dead skin cells which in turn can potentially cause over exfoliation or an increase in sensitivity if paired together. If you’re super new to retinol I would recommend it being your only “treatment” the day you are using it. Any other tips? Personally I wait until my face is dry before applying this. The reason behind this is water can actually help make products penetrate deeper (which in most cases is what you want) and I don’t want to risk irritating my face because the product went too deep. I know that sounds scary but I promise it’s not. If any irritation occurs stop use immediately and switch your routine to very gentle ingredients. If you work your way up slowly and wear sunscreen daily you should be good. 🖤
