Awesome drugstore facial oil
I REALLY love this MILANI - Green Goddess Glow Oil ! I’m not surprised because I love Milani and always have. They have come out with a ton of awesome skincare items over the past couple years! I’ve tried the whole green goddess line, including the lip balm and the sleeping mask and I love all of it! This facial oil is super hydrating and not sticky at all. I usually use it after my facial spray and right before my moisturizer. Some mornings I don’t even need a moisturizer and I just use the facial oil by itself because it’s just that hydrating! I would recommend trying it if you have normal/combination/dry skin! It probably wouldn’t be too great for oily skin. Price point is amazing too, you can’t beat it!

Absolutely LOVE this!!!
I don’t really know how I’ve lived my life up until this point without this mist. I always saw the Indigo Wild Zum brand sold and my local grocery store and never thought to try anything until my coworker had this exact scent on one day. It smelled so good on her that I had to go buy it for myself! I have the INDIGO WILD - Zum Mist Frankincense And Myrrh and I also got the Frankincense and Lavender one, but this one is my fave. It is very strong and smells kind of like incense, but I really enjoy the scent of it. If you don’t like how incense smells, then I wouldn’t recommend this for you! I like wearing it on lighter days when I don’t wear perfume, like when I’m just going to the grocery store or running errands or something. It lasts for quite awhile for a body spray as well! Not as long as an actual perfume of course, but you can smell it on you for at least a few hours. The brand has a ton of different scents, so if you’re not fond of incense smelling stuff, I would recommend checking out some other, lighter scents! 😊

I have been loving this e.l.f. - Beauty Shield Vitamin C Pollution Prevention Serum with the warmer weather lately! I’m always skeptical about Elf, like I’ve said before, but it really doesn’t ever disappoint me! I’m going to need to try more of their skincare. The serum is super lightweight and doesn’t make your skin feel sticky or heavy at all. It have vitamin c and pollution protection which is perfect for spring/summer since you’re outside a lot more! I love the applicator as well, it’s a dropper so you can put it directly on your face in the spots you want and then pat it into your skin. I usually use about three small drops. My skin type is combination/dry and this serum has been perfect for it! This has quickly become one of my go-to serums for the season. You obviously cannot beat the price point either with it being elf! You can get it pretty much anywhere. Would definitely recommend trying out this serum for spring!

Loveeeeee this mist
I am always hesitant to buy elf skincare because it’s so cheap. But I never end up being disappointed by anything! I love this e.l.f. - Hydrating Coconut Mist so much! It’s hydrating, just like it says and it smells soooooo good. Whenever I spray it on my face it reminds me of tanning lotion which then reminds me of summer! It just makes me feel good. I spray it on in the morning and at night right after I cleanse my face and right before I apply my moisturizer and it just adds a little bit of extra hydration that I need. It’s also a very fine mist and it’s just perfect when you spray it on!

Sugar Rush Crush
Normally I don’t purchase lip balms in pots because you have to stick your finger in them and they hold so many germs! But I smelled the tarte - Sugar Rush Best Bud Lip Butter Balm at Ulta one day and I HAD fo buy it! It smells awesome, isn’t sticky, and hydrates my lips. It also has a tiny bit of a pink sheen to it so it does add a little bit of color to your lips! It’s more glossy than balmy as well. I just wish it came with an applicator or spatula to use! Not a bad price point either. I was hesitant to purchase some of tartes new “sugar rush” collection since it was a little cheaper than Tarte but it did not disappoint!

Favorite lip scrub
The JEFFREE STAR COSMETICS - Velour Lip Scrub - Vanilla Mint in blue raspberry sucker is one of my favorite lip scrubs ever. I’ve used quite a few other scrubs, like the tree hut one and the fizz and bubble ones, but this is the best out of all of them! It’s a sugar scrub and it’s actually pretty gritty just like sugar. It gets all of the dead skin off of my lips. I like using it in the winter the most, when my lips are really dry. I usually scrub it on and leave it for about 2 minutes, and then rinse it off with water. It does say that it’s safe to consume and you can just lick it off after, but I would rather just wash it off. It does taste great though, exactly like blue raspberry candy!

Quoted via the sephora app: “What it is: A two-in-one mask to buff skin brighter before hugging it in a plush mix of restorative natural oils. Skin Type: Normal, Dry, Combination, and Oily Skincare Concerns: Dark spots, Dryness, and Fine lines and wrinkles Formulation: Mask Highlighted Ingredients: - Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate (Vitamin C): Provides antioxidant benefits, skin brightening properties, and supports natural collagen synthesis - Argan, Safflower, Sesame, Avocado, Grape Seed Oils: Provide fatty acids, vitamins, and antioxidants while soothing irritation. - Rose Flower Powder: Polishes.” My thoughts 💭 Summer Fridays is that brand everyone lusts over just because the packaging is stunning, the textures are stunning, and they are “cool”. You know what’s not cool? A face mask that causes acne. And that’s what this product does for me. I was so sad because I wanted to like this product, but for what? If it doesn’t work for you, it doesn’t work whatever. I researched over the ingredients trying to see what it could be that caused the breakout (bad breakout i might add). It is $52 for 2.25oz. Not worth it. Would not recommend. Still not entirely sure what broke me out, tons of oils so who knows. But here is the ingredients list: Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Sucrose, Silica, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate (Vitamin C), Rosa Damascene (Bulgarian Rose) Flower Oil, Rosa Gallica (Rose) Flower Powder, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Tocopheryl (Vitamin E) Acetate, All Natural Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin. (2 stars bc atleast the texture is fun) lol SUMMER FRIDAYS - R + R Mask

My new morning routine!
While being on quarantine I have really taken the time to take care of myself and my skin. -A power duo that I have been absolutely loving starting my morning with has been the @apieu_cosmetics Black Tea/Hydrating daily sheet mask and the @petitfee_usa Agave Cooling Hydrogel Eye Mask. • • I cannot believe that I ever lived without the A’pieu daily sheet masks. It comes in a container of 33 sheet masks (I know... I couldn’t believe it either!! SO MANY MASKS) and when you open the container it comes with little plastic tweezers so that you can easily pick one mask up. I chose the black tea/hydrating sheet masks because I have such dehydrated skin that any time I see the word “hydrating” I am SOLD. You wanna know what the best part is... SUPER AFFORDABLE! • Now let’s talk eye masks— recently I have become super obsessed with finding new hydrogel eye masks. With that said, one of my current favorites is the @petitfee_usa agave cooling hydrogel eye masks. I have found that my favorite way to use these is by keeping them in the fridge so when I put them on it gives me the most amazing cooling effect. It comes with 60 eye masks and 30 pairs total. -I feel like since I started incorporating this into my morning routine it really helps to wake me up while still hydrating my face. I absolutely love simplifying my life and this really did it for me. -I thank my lucky stars everyday that I found @stylekorean_global .... I am warning my fellow skincare enthusiasts this site is dangerous... if you don’t keep your eyes on the screen you will end up buying the entire website... trust me it happened to me... 😂 #noregrets #skincare #skincareproducts #apieu #petitfee

Glossier lip balm 😍😍
I really like glossier’s lip balms, they hydrate my lips very nicely and they smell amazing too. My first one I bought was the rose balm last summer and I still have a good amount left I love it, as you can see I expanded my collection to the cherry and mango one. The cherry I like enough but my loves are the rose and mango, considering getting all the other ones too they are super cute and hydrating I just love all things glossier! 5/5 I want to buy more but my bank account and current college student life status is screaming no. But hey if I can buy more I’m going for the birthday one and the coconut, also the berry.
Its a pumpkin kinda weekend. Did you know the @summerfridays Overtime mask aslo contains pumpkin enzyme on top of the lovely exfoliating beads? I would say this is a stronger physical exfoliation type of mask. If you’re looking for a strong exfoliation and dont have sensitive skin, you’d love this mask as much as I do! Lovely pumpkin smell included 😉

A tale of 2 brightening masks
If you’re anything like me, you’ve been doing a lot of masks during your time in social distancing / isolation / quarantine. I’ve definitely done some remote work with a sheet mask on my face, won’t even lie 😂 Today I wanted to talk about two masks that both claim to brighten skin and help lighten dark spots. This is my second tube of the The Ordinary - Salicylic Acid 2% Masque . I like it because it contains salicylic acid and charcoal to target texture, dark spots, and blemishes. It dries down quickly, but it doesn’t feel super tight or uncomfortable on my face like clay masks, and it washes off very easily—I don’t have to fight it. This is the mask I reach for when my skin is feeling congested and I want to deep clean my pores. I’ve even just used it on my jawline (my problem area where I tend to get breakouts) and not on the rest of my face. The SUMMER FRIDAYS - R + R Mask is a little newer to me; I won it in a giveaway recently. Honestly, I’m glad I didn’t pay $52 for this, and I never would. I’ll be honest: this mask looks and smells very boujie and fancy, but washing it off is a nightmare for me: I have to use a washcloth because it’s so thick and oily that I simply can’t get it off with just water and my hands. It also doesn’t fit neatly into my routine: the idea is that you wash it off and then pat the remaining oils into your skin, but I don’t want to have oils on my skin before my serums or other products that I tend to apply BEFORE my oils. This mask contains vitamin C and claims to brighten skin. I don’t know that I’ve used it enough to be able to judge whether it follows through on that claim, but I’ll just say I dislike the feel so much that I don’t really care whether it brightens or not—I have a vitamin C serum that I like anyway so this wouldn’t be necessary for me. In the end, I would recommend The Ordinary - Salicylic Acid 2% Masque any day because it’s a great affordable product that targets multiple concerns effectively. The SUMMER FRIDAYS - R + R Mask looks and smells very nice, but I think it’s overpriced and it doesn’t fit into my routine well at all.
