HOW I GREW MY SHORT EYELASHES✨
Product: GRANDE COSMETICS - GrandeLASH-MD Lash Enhancing Serum Key ingredients: -L-Proline: An amino acid essential to healthy, fortified lashes. -Hyaluronic Acid: Conditions and protects to prevent breakage and brings hydration to dry, brittle, or damaged lashes. -Botanical Extract Blend: A powerful combination of nutrient and antioxidant rich compounds derived from natural sources (ginseng root, chamomile flowers, and bearberry leaves); strengthens the lash follicle. -Glycosaminoglycans: Locks in moisture and boosts lash resiliency and luster. What it does: “A cult-favorite lash enhancing serum that promotes the appearance of longer, thicker looking lashes in four to six weeks, with full improvement in as little as three months.” - Sephora Why I bought: I always wanted to try this product out but was skeptical. I bought this on Amazon prime day for about 2/3 of the cost. There was lots of mixed reviews on the product— some saying it caused allergic reactions and some seeing amazing results so I didn’t know what to expect. How to use: Sweep the brush on the lids above the lash line (do not apply directly to your lashes.) Use every night. Results: The first day I used this I was afraid I was going to have an allergic reaction because I have sensitive skin. I saw horror stories of people’s eyes turning red, swollen and some causing bumps. I followed the instructions and did not have any allergic reactions. My first two weeks using the product I thought I could see small results but the product says optimum results 2 months in. Today was the 2 month mark of using this lash serum and I cannot believe the results! I did not know my natural, short lashes could grow to this length! I have heard that when you stop using this product your lashes can start to fall out so that would be one side effect if true. For right now I will continue to use this product until the bottle is empty. Would I repurchase? I would repurchase because the results are amazing but I would love to use a more natural product if it were to deliver similar results. (I recently bought a natural lash serum from Etsy and can’t wait to give it a try after this serum is empty.) I have posted pictures comparing before grande lash serum, 1 month with grande lash serum and 2 months with grande lash serum. I would love to here your experiences with lash serums! 💭⬇️

Lashes for the win!
Not gonna lie, I thought these lash enhancing products were just gimmicks. But my eyelashes had become short and had been struggling to grow back from lots of lash extensions and I needed to find a solution to help them grow. So I purchased the GRANDE COSMETICS - GrandeLASH-MD Lash Enhancing Serum in the vain hope that it would do something. And holy shit, this worked on my lashes! I didn’t realize it until I saw a picture of my lashes during a photoshoot. I am shocked and so happy with the results!

drunk elephant review with fungal acne🐘💗
as someone with fungal acne, buying the same products can be reaaallyyy boring. so this is my review of drunk elephant as someone with fungal acne!! * disclaimer, NONE of these products are fungal acne safe!! use at your own risk * DRUNK ELEPHANT - Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser this cleansing balm doesn’t really emulsify when you activate it with water, leaving a really oily feeling😕 and doesn’t remove all my makeup DRUNK ELEPHANT - Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser Deluxe Sample this is a really nice gentle foaming cleanser... and thats pretty much it. DRUNK ELEPHANT - B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum i love this serum! its a lovely gel serum that absorbs in quickly and is greak at oil control DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum this serum is a little tricky, i haven’t really noticed a difference in my skin in terms if brightness, i do have a bit of dark spots and they haven’t budged. not to mention this formulation is a rip off of the SKINCEUTICALS - C E Ferulic With 15% L-Ascorbic Acid Vitamin C Serum DRUNK ELEPHANT - Lala Retro Whipped Cream this is a thicc moisturizer that surprisingly doesn’t leave my oily skin looking greasy af. its a good moisturizer for dry combo skin! DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream this moisturizer feels exactly like the lala retro... its just 8 dollars more expensive DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial Mask this mask burns so bad the first 20 seconds but then it settles down. i really havent seen a difference in my skin so DRUNK ELEPHANT - Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil ive only used this oil a few times but wow it really makes your skin feel super soft and dewy DRUNK ELEPHANT - Lippe Balm DRUNK ELEPHANT - Lippe Balm i love this lip balm but its 16 dollars and the claim are completely false! in conclusion, i wont be repurchasing anymore of drunk elephant products because in reality they are just good products... nothing too special ESPECIALLY for the price. they aslo didn’t want to provide information about the percentage of black employees during the Pull Up Or Shut Up movement so yeah. their aesthetic is cute but ive grown out of this phase 😀 like and save!! xo melanie

centella asciatica + spironolactone = 🥰
it’s been a minute! here’s an update on my skin, picture on the left was taken during my peak worst skin of 2020 (June) and now (December). Between now and then, it’s been mainly credited to patience, attempting to pick my skin less, simplifying my routine, and a few amazing products that my skin just seems to really agree with. here’s my routine: Morning/Day: Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser This amazing aloe / glycerine/ squalane moisturizer that I get from a local aesthetician. Linking here! It is SO light and doesn’t clog skin but moisturizers super well. I go thru this like crazy. 10/10 https://www.smartcosmeticstudio.com/shop/exzit-moisture TULA SKINCARE - Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm MARIO BADESCU - Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater DRUNK ELEPHANT - Lippe Balm Night: Same routine but adding: COSRX - Centella Blemish Cream I literally would be LOST without this product. I use it over moisturizer- it’s pretty thick and probably should be used as a spot treatment, but I cover my face lightly in it. I found it’s been amazing for acne scars, healing, lightening, and soothing redness. Nexcare - Nexcare Acne Blemish Cover Amazing and so cheap on amazon Or... PanOxyl - PM Overnight Spot Patches love these but a little more expensive. I have that on in my picture on the right! I’m also on 100mg/ day of Spironolactone for about 6mo as prescribed by my Dermatologist. I recommend this as an alternative if no over the counter products are helping, it took a while to start working but saves me from the horrible and painful under skin pimples which would probably be convering my face if I weren’t taking this! 🤍

GENTLE EXFOLIATOR FOR SENSITIVE SKIN✨
Product:Cure - Natural Aqua Gel —$38 Key ingredients: -Activated Hydrogen Water -Aloe Leaf Extract: exfoliates for smoother skin -Gingko Biloba Leaf Extract: provides skin firming qualities -Rosemary Leaf Extract: prevents premature aging What is it? Cure is a gentle exfoliator suitable for all skin types—even sensitive skin. It aims to provide smoother, brighter and an even complexion without the use of harsh chemicals. Why exfoliate? Dead skin cells can become trapped or build up on top of the skin causing dull and uneven looking skin. Using an exfoliator 1-2x a week can help speed up the process of shedding off dead skin cells resulting in a more glowy and youthful skin appearance. How to use? To use, first make sure your face is cleansed and completely dry. Use one pump of the product and apply directly to your face. I let it sit on the skin for a minute. Gently rub the product into the skin in a circular motion for another minute and you will begin to see dead skin cells ”bead up”. Gently wash off the product and pat with a dry towel. I use this product 2x a week. Results? The first time I used this product, my skin was left so soft and felt squeaky clean (and not the dry kind of squeaky clean). I couldn’t believe after one use that I could already start to see noticeable results. With continued use, my skin has become softer and I have noticed a more even complexion. I look forward to the days I get to use this exfoliator. Would I repurchase? YES! I love the results I am seeing: softer and more even skin, so why wouldn’t I continue to use!? **lastly, thank you to Cherie for sending this to me because I never would of thought of buying this and now I will definitely be using it as my go to exfoliator 💗

This is a peeling gel 😱 Looks like a cleanser
I got this intriguing product Cure Natural Aqua Gel in @cherie Creator box!! Cure - Natural Aqua Gel At first glance I thought it's a gel cleanser, Then I did some digging and found out it's infact a gentle peeling gel which pumps out as very liquidy gel on hand and when you rub into you skin it strts to peel similar to Wishful Yo glow enzyme scrub!! ✨ ✨WHAT IS IT? Natural Aqua Gel gently catches dead skin cells on the surface of the skin and removes them without using strong acids. It helps skin metabolism function better. There is no need to rub or scrub your skin hard and you will be surprised at how smooth your skin has become. ✨ HOW TO USE: Wash your face as you normally would. Dry off completely. Pump the nozzle 3 to 5 times to obtain the appropriate amount of gel onto your fingertips and apply to the desired area. Leave on skin for a few moments allowing Cure to react with the dead skin cells. Gently massage in a circular motion for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Do not rub too hard. The gel will turn into a milky white color, and beads of dead skin cells can be seen as they are lifted off the skin. Rinse well with water and then follow your regular skincare routine. For best results, use Natural Aqua Gel twice a week. Natural Aqua Gel can be used on other parts of the body such as hands, elbow, neck and knees. ✨ KEY INGREDIENTS: - Activated Hydrogen Water: helps maximize skin's energy conversion rate and has anti-oxidant properties. - Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract: preserves moisture and improves skin's resiliency. - Gingko Biloba Leaf Extract: helps prevent blemishes and freckles. It also helps skin retain moisture. - Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract: has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. ✨MY THOUGHTS AND EXPERIENCE: - Unlike other peeling gels it's very gentle on skin - It smells like alcohol so beware of that strong smell - My skin felt a lot smoother and glowy afterwards - It also brightened skin a little bit just with one use - With continued use, it made my skin glow even more and brightened dramatically - This also helped a little bit with existing acne or breakouts - Scars also start to fade a little bit due to exfoliation - The bottle is decently huge so you get a lot of amount for 38$ which should last me for weeks - I think this unique consistency for a peeling gel or physical exfoliator makes this product a stand out! Also, I really appreciate K-beauty products for such technological advancements in skincare formulations. - It's very very gentle on skin and my dkin didn't get irritated at all - I really liked this product and so far I think I'm going to repurchase this 😍✨ ✨ IS IT WORTH 38$: Yes! Absolutely! The results I saw with this are so unique and make it worth the price! It's also a very gentle form of extra step in your cleansing routine!

NEW IN: my skin care ritual just got fancy
ULTA had ELEMIS - Pro-Collagen Perfect Partners on sale and I just had to guys. I love Elemis products and have been dying to try these two products. I love cleansing balms. They are the best thing to remove waterproof makeup without stinging and irritating your eyes. Yes, micellar water works as well but I usually use it after to make sure everything is off . This cleansing balm is so luxurious and oh my word the smell is absolutely divine. The balm is based with rose and mimosa waxes and are infused with elderberry, starflower and optimega oils and supercharged with anti-aging algae, padina pavonica— a Mediterranean algae with proven outstanding anti-aging benefits. Some of my favorites are: CLINIQUE - Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm (works well but they test on animals) BANILA CO - Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Original Then I met you - Living Cleansing Balm After cleansing, I follow up with my new favorite retinol alternative ingredient, Baluchiol in ACURE - Radically Rejuvenating Dual Phase Bakuchiol Serum . I use this twice a day before moisturizing for that extra bit of moisture and protection from free radicals. I have to be honest, I have not tried the cream. I’m sure it is divine but I’m currently half way through two creams and it seemed wasteful to open this one... and I wouldn’t really be giving it a good test run if I’m still using the others right!? I will update in a later post. What other cleansing balm should I try? Thank you. Be Kind, Stay Beautiful **Elemis, Banila Co, Then I met you are all 🐰cruelty free.

Empties - what I would trash or restash
Perricone MD - Cold Plasma Plus+ Sub-D/Neck I have to admit, I had the older version which has now been reformulated. While this felt great with the tightening of my neck and chest, the smell was straight trash. Like caviar gone bad. 🤮 ELEMIS - Pro-Collagen Marine Cream Bloggers constantly rave about this product. I only got it bc FFF had a deal. Must say, it firms, the gel like consistency was light. For an anti-aging effect, I would restash 👍 COOLA - COOLA Makeup Setting Spray Organic Sunscreen SPF 30 If I can find a lazy girl way of sunscreening, I’m on it. Especially the reapplication process, figured this solves my Life problems... not so much. Maybe I’m asking for too much, but I was never convinced that all parts of my face were getting the spf dose needed. Maybe if the packaging is different, my opinion might change, till then stays trashed 😒

My AM routine! 🧼 🧴
I start off my day by washing with PanOxyl - Acne Foaming Wash Benzoyl Peroxide 10% Maximum Strength and I use warm water (not hot!) I use a clean, fresh wash rag to pat dry my face. I never use a hand towel because you never know how many germs sit on that towel! Next, I apply my TULA SKINCARE - Clear It Up Acne Clearing and Tone Correcting Gel and allow that to dry. It only takes about 30 seconds to dry & absorb on the face. I love how light and clean this gel feels on my face & the Tula brand has been wonderful to my skin! After the Tula gel, I apply my SKINCEUTICALS - Retexturing Activator Face Exfoliator I like this serum, although it does leave my face feeling kind of sticky. That doesn’t matter though because I apply moisturizer and SPF after this serum anyway! My moisturizer is OSEA - Blemish Balm I love this moisturizer! It smells amazing and when I apply it to my face, my face feels immediately refreshed. This is perfect for oily/acne prone skin! After my moisturizer, I like to use my pmd - pmd Clean Pro I turn on the facial warmer and gentle vibrations and just allow my face to relax and soak up all of that moisturizer. I don’t do this everyday because it’s time consuming BUT it is very relaxing!!! Lastly, my SPF is TULA SKINCARE - Daily Sunscreen Gel Broad Spectrum SPF 30 and so far I really like it. At first, I didn’t really care for it because it smells like sunscreen and it leaves a highlighter effect on the face. I’ve gotten used to it though and I love that it doesn’t leave a white cast on the face!! I’m open to suggestions or comments ⬇️ 💗

MY ACNE JOURNEY! Part 2
I last left off on being helpless with no idea on what to do next for my face! I looked into the brand Tula and read about differin gel that I could purchase from target. I bought the Tula SA cleanser, Tula salicylic acid gel, differin gel, benzoyl peroxide 10% wash and got to work. AM Routine: •BP 10% wash •Tula Salicyclic acid gel •Skinceuticals Retexturing Activator •Osea Blemish balm moisturizer PM Routine: •SA cleanser •Differin Gel This routine has been a saving grace for me. I started this routine on 10/13/2020 and have been at it for about 2 months now (today is 12/8/2020). What I want you to take from my journey is that 1) damaging you skin barrier is a real thing and it can be detrimental to your skin’s health and 2) skincare routines take time to work. Stick with your routine for 4-6 weeks and if you still don’t notice a change, then you can revise your routine. I’m still researching and trying to find something to help with my scars. The skinceuticals retexturing activator has made a difference I think, but it hasn’t been dramatically different like I expected. The serum was $80 and I’m not sure if I will invest in it again. I do not currently have a favorite SPF that I use. I usually base my face with Ilia Skin Tint that has SPF 40 but it’s too dewy for my oily skin. Thinking about investing in EltaMD SPF. I think having a good SPF will make a difference in my scarring! If you have made it this far into my post, thank you for reading and please hit me with any questions you may have! It’s been a long journey for me so I’m sure I’ve left out some details. Leave your thoughts below!💜 TULA SKINCARE - Clear It Up Acne Clearing and Tone Correcting Gel TULA SKINCARE - Keep It Clear Acne Foam Cleanser PanOxyl - Acne Foaming Wash Benzoyl Peroxide 10% Maximum Strength #Johnson & Johnson - Benzoyl Peroxide 10% Spot Treatment[products]#[FiveStars] SKINCEUTICALS - Retexturing Activator Face Exfoliator DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel OSEA - Blemish Balm

Current faves! ❤️
Here's my current faves for January that are makeup and skincare products: GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Cleanser & Makeup Remover - I'm so surprised at how well makeup comes off using this! It's amazing and I didn't have an allergic reaction to it (typically makeup removers cause me to break out or make my face red, hot and blotchy) L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara in 201 black - I've been loving this mascara lately because it doesn't clump like crazy, it lengthens my lashes really well, and is so inexpensive!! HERO COSMETICS - Mighty Patch Duo - I've used the original ones twice on some pretty big pimples and just a few hours later they were ready to pop! Also, I wore them during the day and tbh they aren't really that noticeable, maybe it's because of my skin tone & how the color of the patches is similar. They also stay on pretty well and really do the trick. Glossier. - Balm Dotcom in fig - I absolutely love this flavor and it's definitely the one I reach for the most. I've heard mixed reviews about it, and as someone who hasn't even tried a fig, I now want to try one. (the flavor probably isn't the exact same but that's ok) MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - O!Mega Bronzer Coconut Perfect in 102 tantric - this is my favorite bronzer ever and it's such a great value, because you get so much product. It's buildable, smooth, and smells so good!! NOTE: if you tap this item, it'll say that it's $65, which it's not! It's on sale for $34 at Sephora ($49 originally) DIOR - BACKSTAGE Face & Body Foundation in 1 cool rosy - I love this foundation and I've been reaching for it lately because of how smooth and buildable it is. ARMANI beauty - Luminous Silk Foundation in 3.75 - great coverage, super smooth, and really easy to blend out. One thing I do find when I use this foundation is that I need 2 pumps in order to get it to cover my whole face. It's not something super concerning, but I find some foundations go farther and I don't mind using 2 pumps tbh.

Dry Winter Skin (& tips when using retinol)
It is important to take good care of your skin in the winter. The cold air is harsh on the skin and can cause dehydration, dryness, and irritation. For those who use retinol (such as prescription tretinoin), these issues are always a concern and in the winter it is extra important to be mindful of how your skin is reacting. When you use a strong retinol your skin is automatically considered dry and sensitive due to the nature of the active ingredient. Whether you are using retinol or just struggling with dry winter skin, here are some tips to help you manage: ❄️Use a Gentle Cleanser❄️ Stay away from stripping cleansers as your skin’s moisture barrier is already compromised in the cold weather. Also, when removing makeup/double cleansing, stay away from makeup wipes because they are harsh on the skin and instead use a micellar water or cleansing balm. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Pure Skin Face Cleanser is my recommendation for a gentle cleanser. It works for all skin types. GLOW RECIPE - Papaya Sorbet Smoothing Enzyme Cleansing Balm is a fantastic makeup removing balm that hydrates the skin and is a perfect first step in a double cleansing routine. ❄️Add Hydrating Ingredients❄️ Try using products that contain humectants or other hydrating ingredients such as glycerin or hyaluronic acid. This will help your skin avoid irritation from the cold. You can incorporate this through any step of your routine, but I recommend hydrating serums and masks. GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer can be used as a light moisturizer for those with oily skin, but I recommend using it as a hydrating serum under a thicker moisturizer. When my skin is feeling especially sensitive I mix it with my retinol to dilute the retinol and make it more tolerable for my skin. GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping Mask is a hydrating masking option if that is what you prefer. ❄️Switch to a Different Moisturizer❄️ Make sure you have a thicker moisturizer when the weather changes to help protect your skin. The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA and ETUDE - Soon Jung, 2x Barrier Intensive Cream are good moisturizer options for the winter. ❄️Consider Occlusives❄️ Some people like to add an occlusive layer over their moisturizer to further protect from the winter air and to lock in the hydrating ingredients underneath. You could use something as simple as Vaseline - 100% Pure Petroleum Jelly, Original or even an oil such as The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Squalane to add an occlusive layer. ❄️Don’t Forget Lip Care❄️ Use a balm such as BURT’S BEES - Nourishing Mango Butter Lip Balm Tube to fight chapped lips! If you have any recommendations for dry winter skin please let me know in the comments!

Keep on repeat-My favorite cleanser and mascara!
Keep on repeat-My favorite cleanser and mascara!
For my aging and sometimes picky sensitive skin, this cleanser has never disappointed me! It’s gentle and doesn’t strip my skin of moisture. It also keeps those 2-3 monthly stray pimples away. The product contains 0.5% salicylic acid and hyaluronic acid. It’s $39 but so worth it and you don’t have to use a lot to get your face clean. Murad - Time Release Acne Cleanser My favorite mascara was a recommendation from the YouTube beauty herself, Tati Westbrook! I love this mascara because it lifts, separates and gives that Wow falsie look! It’s $12.99 from Sally’s Beauty and worth every penny! Make sure you purchase the one shown in the picture (hot pink band-Extreme Black)- Col-Lab The Works -WOW Effect all-in-one mascara❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Jordan Samuel Skin The Matinee
Jordan Samuel Skin The Matinee Gel Cleanser This is easily one of the most gentle cleansers I’ve ever tried. It’s a water soluble thick gel that doesn’t foam. It’s got aloe, glycerin, cucumber and camomile for a hydrating soothing base with a hint of salicylic acid. This is the perfect morning cleanser. It’s gentle and will absolutely not strip or dry your skin If you like gel cleansers and are looking for a really gentle morning one I would look at this one. I prefer The After Show Treatment Cleanser to this one especially now that it comes in a sensitive skin version. Matinee is nice if you want a refreshing gel that’s oil free Jordan Samuel Skin has a great line of affordable and well done products. Everything is hydrating and non-irritating. Great for preserving the skin barrier. Hydrate Facial Serum & The After Show Treatment Cleanser (formerly Plié) are my favorites

This is the Heimish All Clean
This is the Heimish All Clean Cleansing Balm. An amazing affordable balm which is a Korean cult classic. Melts away all traces of makeup, spf and and daily dirt, grime and pollution. It’s super effective at cleansing but also never leaves skin feeling tight or dry! I always double cleanse of an evening, for me it’s the only way to ensure my skin is cleansed properly. Starting of with a balm or oil and following with a cream, gel or milk cleanser. It has honestly been one of the best things I’ve done for my skin... A hazelnut sized amount massaged into dry skin and it will begin to melt in contact with your skin. Rinse off with water and the balm emulsifies to a milk... Honestly one to add to your list if you’re a fan of double cleansing... and if you haven’t tried it... what are you waiting for??? Your skin will thank you... 😉

Charcoal has been a major well
Charcoal has been a major wellness trend for a while now. There are charcoal everything from skincare to even foods.⁣ ⁣ But first, what is charcoal? It’s made from wood, coal, coconut or other organic substances by using extremely high temperatures and no oxygen. It’s crazy that the end result is something with so many positive benefits, like the ability to draw out toxins from the body, reduce internal inflammation and anti-aging properties.⁣ ⁣ This Odacite Black Mint Cleanser has Activated Charcoal and Rhassoul Clay to sucks out dirt, grime and pollution from the pores. And like any other product from Odacite, this cleanser is made with pure organic, plant-based ingredients that are chosen with immaculate care. Quality ingredients really do matter because your cleanser plays a major role in helping you achieve the best visible results from your skin care regimen.⁣ ⁣ The texture looks like a gel, but then it transform into a purifying foam that feels soft and comfortable on the skin. There's no SLS in the formula, instead the creamy foam derived from apple amino acid which is tough enough to lifting away impurities and excess oil, while protecting the delicate moisture of the skin.⁣ ⁣ I apply 3 pumps, spread it into my skin and use Foreo to message it in upward circular motion. I directly feel the minty sensation, but it never aggravates my skin one bit. Thanks to Tea Tree + Peppermint Oil that serve to wake my tired complexion and make the whole cleaning process more fun. After rinsing off, I don't feel like there is any sort of residue left behind. My skin is left feeling deep-cleansed and mattified, so I really recommend this to my fellow oily-skin. ⁣ ⁣ This Black Mint Cleanser has been an absolute revelation to me. I'm not afraid of direct sunlight anymore because I feel like my pores has been clear up lately.⁣

EIGHTH DAY Facial Tonic & Clea
EIGHTH DAY Facial Tonic & Cleansing Gel I’ve been wanting to talk about a few things I grabbed from EIGHTH DAY for a while. Developed by dermatologist Dr. Tony Nakhla EIGHTH DAY is a clean, upscale, paraben/sulfate/PEG and fragrance free line. I was originally drawn to the line as it uses stem cell proteins. During Black Friday I grabbed most the line and I’ll talk about the Facial Tonic & Cleansing Gel first. The eye cream review is next I promise. The packaging is all in pearly white plastic with rose gold metallic accents . The Facial Tonic is an acid toner. I actually really liked this one. It has a blend of lactic & glycolic acid (AHAs) with polyhydroxy acid (PHA) gluconolactone. PHAs are new generation less irritating acids that also have antioxidant benefits. This toner also has lentil extract (tightens and refines pores), cucumber extract (soothing), witch hazel (astringent, pore & inflammation reducing), sodium hyaluronate (hydrating), panthenol (soothing), ginger (antioxidant), frangipani (antioxidant, anti-inflammatory), green tea (antioxidant), orchid (anti-aging, antioxidant) & aloe (soothing) . This acid toner actually packs a punch. You can feel it tingle and warm up on the skin a bit. I don’t know the percentage of acids in this but it feels around 10% at least. It’s not harsh and I never felt like it was too much, but it was quite effective. I would definitely think about repurchasing this one as it’s well rounded and it was just really nice to use. I like to use my acid toners in the morning . The Cleansing Gel is the brands only cleanser. I’m not a huge cleansing gel fan though I do think they have their place in the shower. I tend to use them 3-4x a week in the morning only. It’s a nice gel cleanser. It’s not drying and feels gentle yet it cleans well. It’s got papain & bromelain enzymes for gentle exfoliation. This also has probiotics (quite a few actually compared to the normal one or two), ginger, frangipani, green tea, orchid & aloe. This one has a pH around 5.5 so it’s perfect in order to not mess with your skins natural barrier .
