I was inspired by this video to recreate the look myself: https://m.youtube.com/watch?index=206&list=LLQq6px0dEo4UnI478Y40fdw&v=tLV6YzaRicU Products used: *Too Faced - Natural Eyeshadow Palette
this palette has all matte shades which is perfect for the look I was going for. Also these shadows are highly pigmented and blend so well. * bellápierre COSMETICS - bellápierre Cosmetics Gel Eye Liner
This liner is creamy and can easily be smoked out. * Charlotte Tilbury - Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes! MascaraThis mascara I will be posting a review on soon. * MAC - MAC Lip Pencil
in ‘soar’. This is one of my favorite lip pencils. They apply so easily to the lip and create no smudging. The shade is perfect for my skin tone and it creates the perfect contrast of a darker lined lip. * NYX - Lip Lingerie Matte Lipstick
I chose this lip color to create a light contrast to the lip liner. It blends well and is not overly drying to the lip. * MAC - MAC Powder Blush
This blush shade is my go to blush. It blends well and creates a hint of pink to the cheeks. How to: (Follow along with the video) - Apply a cool matte brown shade all over the crease - Cut the crease with a makeup wipe - Apply a matte creme color all over the lid - Apply a darker brown shade into the outer corner and blend - Smoke out the lash line with the same crease shade - Apply a black pencil liner to the lash lines and smoke out a bit - Apply mascara (and false lashes optional) - Apply a darker nude shade lip liner and slightly over line the lips - Apply a lighter nude shade lipstick and slightly blend the top shades together - Apply blush to the apples of the cheeks For reference, I have light-medium, neutral undertone skin and almond shaped eyes. This post is part of a two-part series as yesterday I posted the hair tutorial. 🎶: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2Q3DB1jJu8w #CheriePartner

Second love affair..
The classic Mac, lip liner/pencil. Believe it or not, I've been using Mac's lip liners since the end of highschool! I'm talking 15,17, 18 years! What I do, as a hardcore makeup lover, a smart shopper & to always have what I need, on hand. Buy classic colors. So, one red. One plum. One on the nose side or pink. Most of my lipsticks are either red or plum. All different shades, but one mac plum lip liner, or red etc (at least for me) match every other plum lipstick. So stuck with one main lip liner shade in each category, matching what you wear. I have one red 1 plum/wine and 1 in the softer side I'd consider nudes. And whether I'm wearing covergirl lipstick, or NYX.. I never need to spend even more money to buy yet another lip liner. I've had this problem with other lip liner brands. But at least for myself, I find ma's liner pretty amazing in the fact that they match almost 100% of my lipstick shades. As long as I have one per category of main color. I dont bother buying any pink, as I dont wear pink, I wont and wont waste money.MAC - MAC Lip Pencil

INTERVIEW MAKEUP + TIPS TO GETTING THE JOB💼✨
HOW I DID MY MAKEUP FOR INTERVIEWS + TIPS TO GETTING THE JOB I have been on the search for a new job for sometime now. I am a fairly recent graduate with little experience and plus being in a global pandemic it has been challenging to find the right fit. Throughout my research on how to look presentable during interviews, here are some tips I gathered that helped me get multiple job offers.  Less is more:  •Makeup: Now I am not a fan of this saying because I love being extra with contour, and big lashes, etc. but when you are doing makeup for an interview less is more. The interviewer’s main focus is going to be listening to what you can bring to their company. If they are distracted by glittery eyes or a bright pink lip they might not be fully listening to what you have to offer. I would recommend to stick to a more “conservative” look with a clean makeup base, minimal eye makeup and possibly a lip color that you feel comfortable in.  •Hair: When choosing the right hairstyle for an interview, you still want to keep in mind that your face will be the main focus. With that being said, you do not want to take away from what you are saying by any hair distractions. It would be best to keep your hair pulled back and out of the way so it does not cause any interferences. (Especially if you play with your hair, that could be a big distraction away from what you are saying.) If wearing your hair down or a bright lip color makes you feel confident then I would go for it. Ultimately you want to be comfortable with how you look so that confidence can transfer over well into your interview Dress the part: Companies want to see if you are a good fit by imagining yourself in the role. When you dress the part you are saving them this step. If they can see you professionally as one of their own, it will be easier for them to determine if you are a good fit. I would recommend sticking to basic/neutral colors and solid pieces. Blazers are always a good choice when it comes to layering and they make me feel more professional and confident going into an interview. Again, like mentioned before, wear what you feel most comfortable in.  Check your background: This tip has nothing to do with your actual physical image but I still think it’s important to mention now that a lot of interviews are being conducted over video-call platforms. I recommend choosing a background with MINIMAL clutter and possibly adding greenery into the scene. If none of this is possible, opt for a neutral-solid color background. You can even hang up an ironed white sheet if necessary. Also, make sure there will be minimal noise distractions wherever you are interviewing. If you live with others, make sure you let them know that you will be interviewing so no distractions can occur.  SMILE & relax: Unless you are applying to a job where you do not need to be friendly… SMILE. It looks good to see that you are friendly and confident in the way you carry yourself. Also, it is important to relax and don't let the nerves get the best of you.  • Psych tips:  ◦Even if you mess up, if you are still smiling you can trick the interviewer into thinking you still have yourself composed.  ◦The feeling of excitement and fear are SO closely related that you can turn one of those feelings into the other. When I get very anxious I like to tell myself I’m actually excited and it will help calm my nerves. Makeup used: •foundation:Too Faced - Born This Way Natural Finish Foundation •contour:MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - O!Mega Bronzer Coconut Perfect •blush: bareMinerals - bareMinerals Loose Powder BlushI like this blush because it has a little bit of shimmer in it and acts as a highlighter as well •mascara:Too Faced - Better Than Sex Mascara •false lashes: (custom) •lips:  MAC - MAC Lip Pencil in ‘subculture'  I hope these tips were helpful and good luck if you are in the interviewing process!

Too faced eyeshadow palette 🎨
Too Faced - Natural Eyeshadow Palette this is a neutral color palette that is matte so no sparkles either it’s super easy to use and creates a “no makeup” look too. Or it could also make something dramatic I think it could work for a range of skin tones because it has lighter and darker colors. it was expensive for sure as most too faced products are but that’s because they are typically worth the price tag except for a few that I’m not a fan of (the mascara)

𝗖𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗡𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲!
Yes yes yes! This is everything I’ve been searching for! I just wanted a nice neutral palette for a casual every day cute look, and this does that and more. I have to say that the shadows are all the same consistently, very creamy very smooth very blend-able. They are all extremely pigmented, so if you like build-able eyeshadows I’d say these aren’t super build-able but they aren’t NOT build-able if that makes sense. They’re right in the middle. Packaging Quality: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 The Palette itself closes with a little magnet, though the little heart is a cute little touch it adds no purpose. It has some weight to it and seems very durable. It Smells Like Chocolate? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 This is true, Too Faced is known to scent almost all of their products. However this smells more like a cheap chocolate you’d buy from a dollar store, but it’s not awful, and it’s not too strong. Would I purchase again? Of course! Except I’ve never finished an eyeshadow palette all the way and rarely hit pan, so probably not. But that’s the only reason, this palette is gorgeous! The names of the shadows are a little... 😹well you know. But that’s alright, gorgeous job Too Faced! Too Faced - Natural Eyeshadow Palette

Would rather get coal - so hyped but so heavy!!
I was SO excited to get this Charlotte Tilbury - Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes! Mascara I’ve seen all kinds of bloggers and people on Instagram say how great it is. It was so hyped up I legit thought it was going to change my life. Then I used it and my heart just broke. It was so bad. I did everything I normally do. I curled my super straight lashes. I applied the mascara. I looked in the mirror a few minutes later and my lashes were nice and dark and coated but they were soooo straight. So there was mascara all over my eyelid and cheek. I think the texture is nice. Soft and waxy. So it doesn’t get gloopy or clumpy on your lashes. If you already have curly lashes this would be ideal!!! Since mine are long and really straight it’s just too heavy and pulls them right down. I swear it almost makes them straighter, which means the product gets all over my face if I blink before it’s dry. So disappointed cause it’s not cheap :( If you do decide to try this one out I would spring for the trial size version first.

YEAR 3000 HALLOWEEN MAKEUP PT.1👽 #CheriePartner
I have glitter hairspray that I never use so I was thinking of ways to use the glitter for halloween. I came up with this alien/space girl makeup and hair.  Products used: •concealer: JOSIE MARAN - Vibrancy Argan Oil Full Coverage Concealer Fluid •setting powder: laura mercier - Secret Blurring Powder •liquid highlighter: COVER FX - Glitter Drops in mirage (shake before use) •contour: MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - O!Mega Bronzer Coconut Perfect •eyeshadow:aLamar COSMETICS - Reina Del Caribe Eyeshadow Palette •liquid eyeshadow: stila - stila Liquid Eyeshadow Set •mascara: Charlotte Tilbury - Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes! Mascara •Lip liner: MAC - MAC Lip Pencil in naked •gloss: (I honestly have no idea, the name is rubbed off and it was a gift) but it is clear and sparkly •glitter: from michaels crafts store This makeup was super quick and took under 10 minutes to create: •First i concealed any blemishes with concealer and set with powder so I had a clean base to work with •I applied the liquid highlighter heavily to my cheekbones, inner corer of the eye and to my brow bone. I really wanted the look to be glowy and holographic and this product helped with that.  Shake this product well before use because it can become clumpy. •next I lightly contoured my cheeks because i like my face contoured but you can skip this step •For the eye makeup I applied the blue eyeshadow with a liner brush and created a thick wing. This eyeshadow is supper pigmented and shimmery. It picks up holographic which adds to the alien vibes. I also used this product all over my lid. I stopped the blue at the inner corner of the eye. With the liquid eyeshadow, i dabbed it into my inner corner and blended the two colors together. I applied the blue lightly under my eyes. •I added mascara and curled my lashes. •For my lips, I lined them with the lip liner and applied the shimmery gloss all over. Applying the nude liner helps to create the gloss more pigmented. This lip combo created a very nude but shimmery lip. I wanted to keep the lip neutral since there is so much going on on top of the face.  •lastly, I applied thick sequined glitter on top of my cheekbone to add a dimensional highlight. I adhered the glitter with vaseline and it stuck well.  I choose blue for my look but any color would look good for the space-girl/year 3000 look. I will be posting the hair tutorial to go along with this look soon! #CheriePartner

“RAIN ON ME” HAIR & MAKEUP 🌧 #CheriePartner
Every since I bought white liquid eyeliner I’ve been wanting to recreate this look Ariana Grande wore in the “Rain on Me” music video. Both the hair and makeup are a lot easier than it looks. Hair I slept with my hair in a braid to make my straight hair have a wavy texture I than took random sections of my hair and used BURT’S BEES - Burt’s Bees Concealer to “lighten” sections Lastly, I used a brush and an old halloween eyeshadow pallet to color sections of my hair purple. Her hair is probably purple clip-in extensions but this will do the trick. Makeup For the eyes, I first lined my eyes with bellápierre COSMETICS - bellápierre Cosmetics Gel Eye Liner on both lash lines. Than I used stila - Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner and created a thin, long wing. Next, I appliedNYX - White Liquid Liner underneath the black pencil liner on my lower lash line, extended it to underneath the wing and lastly creating an outline just above my crease. I stopped the liner at the inner corner. Lastly, I applied some mascara and curled my lashes. For the lips, I used BECCA - BECCA Cosmetics Glow Gloss and over lined my lips with MAC - MAC Lip Pencil . #CheriePartner

WEARABLE HALLOWEEN SEASON MAKEUP 👻
I live in Massachusetts (home to Salem, MA) and everyone freaks out about halloween season. I created this look to get me in the halloween spirit with a dramatic, yet wearable look. I chose a black lip because it reminds me of halloween costume makeup but paired the look with a more neutral eye. Lip products: KVD VEGAN BEAUTY - Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in ‘Woolf’. This lipstick is a matte lipstick but is very moisturizing. ( I had chapped lips and my lips did not appear to be overly dried). This product is also vegan and cruelty free. Woolf is a gray shade but I paired it with the product below to darken it up. bellápierre COSMETICS - bellápierre Cosmetics Gel Eye Liner I used this product as a lip liner and blended it into the liquid lipstick. Since this is a gel based, the colors melted nicely together and created a comfortable consistency. Any black pencil liner will do but I recommend doing a patch test on the back of your wrist before applying to your lips. ...This lip combo made my teeth super white (not sure why) and I was loving it 🤩 Eye shadows: NATASHA DENONA - Camel Palette these eyeshadows are super pigmented and have no fallout. I used the orange-toned shade. URBAN DECAY - Naked Illuminated Shimmering Powder for Face and Body +stila - stila Liquid Eyeshadow Set this created the perfect silvery, glitter eyeshadow that lasted all day without creasing. I wore this look to Salem last year and it put me in the “spooky” mood. Would you try a black lip or is it too bold? 💭 #CheriePartner

Colourpop Sunflower Collection 💛🌻☀️ // A Look
Colourpop Sunflower Collection 💛🌻☀️ // A Look
Ugh I am convinced that I need to get an actual camera because I am so pissed that the yellow part in this eye look didn’t show up on camera... my iPhone 10 didn’t pick up the details, but I’ll share this look anyway 🙄 I did an eye look where it is yellow at the top and fades in to a warm brown like a sunflower, but this looks like just a typical baked browns look. Next time I will create a look that is more yellow based so maybe it will actually show up... Anyway, I finally used Colourpop’s new Lil Ray of sunshine palette. The eyeshadows were really powdery and had a lot of kickback, but as I mentioned on my previous post that it doesn’t really bother me because it usually means that the shadows are highly pigmented and it is true...it’s just messy. As an eyeshadow with a lot of kickback, these had minimal fall out. I had to build first row because it hardly showed up on my skin tone, but I love how buildable this eyeshadow is. The creme gel liners were even better on the eyes than when I swatched it. The super shock shadows are up to par with Colourpop’s quality as always. I tried using one of the super shock shadows as a cheek highlighter and while it is beautiful on the lids, it is chunky on the cheeks so it’s not as versatile as other super shock shadows. Overall I enjoyed using these products and I can see myself using this on a regular for the rest of the summer I used: -Happy place (transition) -Sunnies (crease) -Chillin (all over the lid and lower lash) -Sun giant (inner and outer lid) -Super shock shadow in Flower child (Mid lid) -Creme gel liner in Sunnyvale (to tightline lower lash) -Super shock shadow in “In harmony” (inner corner) I used the “it’s always sunny” gloss by itself because I didn’t want to put too much attention on the lips. Love this gloss! It’s a clear gloss with glitter chunks and it smells so good. Thank you for checking this out. I will create another look that focuses more on the yellow eyeshadows in the future Francesca 💋

New red lipstick!!
New red lipstick!!
For MAC’s National lipstick day celebration, I treated myself to Matte lipstick in Russian Red, Lustre lipstick in Hug me, and for my freebies I got Marrakesh and Dubonnet. I have been on the hunt for the perfect red lipstick for fair skin. I haven’t worn red lipstick in years! I just love how bold it is. MAC - MAC Matte Lipstick in Russian Red is a great neutral undertoned red. I don’t look good in orange toned reds but most blue toned reds can look very dark almost brick colored on fair skin. This is such a classic red that isn’t too bright or dark. The MAC lip pencil in Cherry is the perfect pairing! I didn’t want anything that would turn the lipstick dark but this is just a hair darker for a good lip contour. What’s your favorite lipstick?? I have tagged more of my current makeup favorites! My favourite all-in-one palette I got in the UK 💗
My favourite all-in-one palette I got in the UK 💗
All in one palette are a great way to have a few of your favourite products or shades in one place. The product I will be reviewing today is the N07 Highlighting palette that I was given for Christmas and is limited edition priced around £10 so be sure to check them out around Christmas as they will be sure to release another similar product. The set includes three shades. One off white shade, baby pink and a rose pink. I would recommend this product for the fairer toned complexion as the shades are so light. The product is exceptionally buildable, which is perfect as it can be so easy to go overboard with blusher and highlight. The pigmentation is most reliable on the off white and rose-pink shades. I notice I often receive compliments from friends who see when I wear these shades. The baby pink, however, is still a great shade though I find it sometimes blends into my skin tone a little too much. Additionally, the product long-lasting and does not smudge, fall or form a strange texture on my skin. This, I believe, is due to the creamy texture of the product, which can blend easily into your foundation. Upon application, it appears like a powder; however, to touch, it feels quite creamy.  As all the shades are shimmery, this may not work for those who prefer a matte finish.   Overall, for the price of the product and the shades included within the set, I believe it is excellent value for money and the perfect travel product. I would recommend trying out some NO7 products if you have the chance. Boots also offer lots of vouchers for this brand which makes it even easier to put it to the test.
