High Frequency Is Here!
My high frequency facial wand is my new favorite skincare tool that I have recently purchased! I have always had it used on my skin when I have gone to get my monthly facials and I never really could notice if it did much or not since I was just getting it done once or twice a month. I currently live in Los Angeles and one of the facials that I got was at Glow Skincare. The facial was nice, but something that I really liked about Glow Skincare was that they put up an amazon list of skincare items that they use for their treatment rooms on their website. So, when I was looking through their amazon list, I found two different high frequency wands that I could purchase from amazon! I have had my wand for about a week or two now and I absolutely love it and I am so happy with the purchase. I purchased the Pure Daily Care NuDerma Machine and it is beneficial for acne treatment, skin tightening, wrinkle reducing, dark circles, puffy eyes, and hair follicles. What I have recently been focusing on with using the machine is using it as an acne treatment as well as for my hair. I really like how this machine works on cystic acne. I recently was on my menstrual cycle and had a few cystic pimples and with using this machine on it for a few mins for a few days they just kept decreasing in size and eventually went away. I love using this machine for cystic pimples because before I used to try and pick at them and it would just end up being a terrible scar and I would end up being embarrassed of what it looked like after picking at it so much. This high frequency is a lifesaver for whatever cystic acne that may occur. With using the attachable hair follicle piece, I have noticed that my hairline is really benefiting from it and it is really waking up my baby hairs to get moving! I have noticed in just a week or two that my baby hairs are gaining some motivation to grow. With high frequency there are two different types of electrodes. There is orange and violet. The violet is argon gas and the orange is neon gas. Traditionally, the violet argon gas is to help acne prone skin, and then the orange neon gas is more to help with anti-aging. Personally, the machine that I purchased from amazon only came with the orange neon gas. At first, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to purchase it because my main focus was for it to help me with any acne problems that may occur. But I am so glad that I purchased, the orange neon gas works perfectly fine on acne as well! I tend to have very mild breakouts, so I am not sure if the orange would work on someone just as well that has severe acne, but the same brand I ordered does have a machine that comes with both violet and orange, it is just a little more spendy. If you are looking for a skincare tool to kill bacteria and zap your zits away at a quick rate I would definitely recommend getting a high frequency machine and it has so many other benefits as well :-) - CC
Let’s kill acne!!
Zap zap ⚡️ high frequency is so underrated but is freaking amazing. This tool uses small electrical currents to oxygenate the skin and kills bacteria that causes acne. You can get one on amazon for like $25 and honestly, it’s worth it. I can’t tell you how much it’s helped with my acne and my clients acne. One question I get is, “does it hurt?” No. It’s a slight tingle but should not hurt. Use it as many times a day as you need to.

At-Home Microneedling 💉💉
On my recent journey for trying to optimize my skincare routine, I have tried a number of neat skincare tools. This is a tool that I ordered from Amazon to try out after seeing people getting this treatment at medspas (but not wanting to pay that much). I have some light acne scarring on my face, and was hoping this $20 tool would do the trick! I was worried about the needles, but it really barely hurts at all. You are supposed to use very light pressure, so if it hurts you might be pushing too hard! My face gets pretty red after I use it but it goes away after about 30 minutes. My skin always feels so soft immediately after use, and I have definitely noticed an improvement in my skin’s texture over the month or so that I’ve been using it.

Buttne? No problem! Solution below 👇
Okay so a while ago I made a post about buttne and why nobody’s talking about it. I wanted women to not feel ashamed about coming forward and saying ‘hey! This is something I suffer from and this is what helped’. So anyways, a little bit of TMI - I had a clogged hair follicle in my pubic area. I was prescribed oral antibiotics as well as this cream. Neither of them worked - for THAT issue. I have to go get it lanced. BUT! (Literally) I remember reading online about buttne and what it actually is and it’s not acne at all. In most cases it’s a mild bacterial/fungal buildup that clogs the follicles and causes these ‘break outs’. I put two and two together and decided to rub this cream on my cheeks (lower region, not my face please don’t do that). I put it on before bed and when I woke up in the morning my really angry and painful breakout was completely GONE! I’ve never been so happy!!! I’m absolutely asking my doctor to continue to prescribe this. I haven’t been using it every day because I don’t really know how much of it I really need, but I use it about every other day (I can be forgetful as well). So ladies, if you’re peach is a little bumpy for the beach, try to get some Fucidin Cream! It’ll change your life! 😍🥰😍🥰😍
Light therapy device 💡
Revive Light therapy combines 3 different types of led light to help your skin. Led Light Combination & Benefits~ Amber Light~ The amber light claims to be beneficial for people struggling with rosacea. Reduces the Appearance of redness, swelling and inflammation Red Light~ Claims to penetrate deep layers of your skin & stimulates cellular repair and increase circulation. Infrared Light~ Claims to penetrate deeper than any than a combats the signs of aging by stimulating the natural production of collagen. How to Use~ Turn on and place directly on the skin and hold for 3 to 10 mins. You will feel the light become warm but not hot or uncomfortable. (Time varies depending on what you are wanting to achieve) 💭My Thoughts~ I got this in a February from a subscription box. I have been to the dermatologist before & had UV light therapy for Eczema and other light therapy for my rosacea and saw great results. I have been using this now for months now and haven’t notice any difference with my rosacea or any other changes in my skin from this device. It is a very long process considering the size of the light it took me almost a hour to do my face & neck. I honestly don’t have that much patience to continue to use. I wouldn’t recommend this product due to the long process and lack of results in the time I was using it. Also for $69.00 I can recommend creams and treatments that will help reduce the redness from rosacea and for help with acne breakouts. I gave this 1/5 ⭐️. revive LIGHT THERAPY - Glō Portable Anti-Aging Light Therapy Device #CherieCreator

C Section Scarring
This post is a little different. Its still technically a skincare product but its not your typical cream with actives. So 8 months ago, I gave birth to Yara via C-section, after 20 hours inactive labour- she really just didnt want to come out. As we all know, C-sections leave behind a pretty undesirable scar, and one of my friends who’d gone through a C-section herself gave me this product to help with the scarring. This is a unique product in that, there are actually no actives, its just a tension-relieving silicone-y type bandage. Its meant to relieve tension around the tissue and basically keeps the incision from scarring as it heals. You’re supposed to use this in the first 6-8 weeks if possible, but using it in the first 6 months is ideal, before the scar sets. I honestly didnt want to anything on my incision for the first 6 weeks. When I finally did start using it, about 2 months in, I quickly realized it was actually hard to place, and really finnicky with staying on. Its supposed to adhere for 10 days, and honestly that wasnt the case for me- max 5 days and with every shower, the adhesive became weaker. I went through 2 boxes (each box containing three bandages for an expected 30-day treatment) before I finally got the hang of how to place it, but it would still not stay on for more than 5 days. . Did it work? Ya, I think so. I mean not completely, I still have a scar and its still quite evident, but I can tell the incision appears thinner in areas that the adhesive stuck to better and is lighter in those areas as well- less red and inflamed. To be fair, the product does not claim that it will completely prevent a scar- just claims that it will keep it from becoming a deep, bumpy, textured scar, and I think it did do that. I still have to live with a large scarred incision on my lower abdomen though. . But honestly, the more time passes, the less the appearance of the scar really matters to me. As more time passed, the thought that this scar was product of a safe and healthy delivered baby becomes more reassuring that the scar doesnt really bother me (that much) anymore. And this may sound cheesy and all- but really a healthy baby is all that matters❤
