FREE SKINCARE ROUTINE - THANKS GOOD MOLECULES!
It’s here! 🎉 I won Good Molecules’ skin care routine from their @tiktok giveaway! I love this company’s caffeine eye patches & silicon-free priming moisturizer, so I’m excited to try the rosewater cleansing gel, hyaluronic acid serum & niacinamide toner. 😬 There’s not a lot of skin care companies that I brag about, but Good Molecules is at the top of my list! Packing is always perfect, customer service is great, and the products have not disappointed me. Vegan AM/PM use Fragrance-free Never tested on animals Most products are: Alcohol-free Gluten-free pH balance 5.5 - 5.9 Looking for new products to try, check them out! And yes, I used their wrapping paper as a back drop! 🤗
Rejuvenating Eye Mask!
GOOD MOLECULES - Caffeine Energizing Hydrogel Eye Patches I’ve tried a number of eye masks & Good Molecules’ Hydrogel Eye Patches is by far the best I’ve ever experience! Cooling feeling Brightens tired eyes Decreases puffiness Removes fine lines I was hoping the product would remove dark circles, but it doesn’t. I still recommend trying if you suffer from puffy, tired eyes in the morning! Can be used in the morning or before bed! Leave on for 15 mins for best results & massage remaining gel around eye area.

Tour of what’s in my fridge
A skin care fridge is totally not a necessity but they are super fun to have. Things to consider before buying one is: does it fit in your budget, will it fit in your bathroom, what products will go in it? I got mine from Amazon where they range from $60-$150 cad but you can get them from tons of places. The way I use mine is to keep products cold for the experience (de puffing) and to extend their shelf life. Here’s a tour of what I currently keep in my skincare fridge. The Ordinary - Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2% This serum is great to keep cold as it ensures it is kept at a consistent temperature and in a dark place which helps with stability. The combination of ascorbic acid and alpha arbutin make for a great brightening and hyperpigmentation treatment. THE BODY SHOP - British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask This is a really nice hydrating and plumping face mask that gives a very spa like vibe. The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil I love to keep this oil cold as it increases the shelf life. This is a great hydrating oil that also helps acne and hyperpigmentation. THE BODY SHOP - Chinese Ginseng & Rice Clarifying Polishing Mask I love keeping this mask chilled as it helps depuff my face in the morning. This is a very nourishing mask that is also gently brightening. pixi - DetoxifEYE These are great cold as they really helps get rid of any puffiness from waking up. This pot holds 30 pairs which is great value from money. VERSED - LOOK ALIVE Hydrating Plumping Mask This is a great hydrating mask that really plumps my skin and helps when it is dehydrated. Keeping it cold makes the experience even more enjoyable. LANEIGE - Cica Sleeping Mask This is a creamy sleeping mask that highlights cica which is a very soothing ingredient. Applying it cold makes the soothing power even more effective. LANEIGE - Lavender Water Sleeping Mask This is a gel mask that feels great when applied cold as it feels very soothing. The lavender scent can also be very relaxing. grace & stella - Rose quartz face roller I love doing an evening massage, it feels amazing if the tool is kept cold. It helps with lymphatic drainage and product absorption. 👜Sheet masks ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I love to keep all my sheet masks in the fridge as the experience of a chilled mask is very enjoyable.
SKINCARE SUNDAY SQUAD - 17/01/2021
I’ll be posting my “reviews of the week” every Sunday, starting today, so follow me to see more 💖 This week we have a small lineup from Pixi Beauty. pixi - 24K Eye Elixir I love almost everything about this eye serum... the roller ball helps to de-puff my eyes amazingly!! But I’ve only given this product 4 stars, because it does remain a little sticky for a while before sinking into my skin 🥺 pixi - DetoxifEYE These eye patches are one of my ALL TIME FAVOURITES!!! They help to de-puff and brighten my under eye area SO WELL!! I have absolutely NOTHING bad to say about this product 😍 pixi - On-the-Glow Unfortunately I am not a big fan of this “stick” moisturiser... I wanted to like this product, I really did. But all it does is leave me sticky and break me out 😭 Join me next Sunday for more weekly reviews!! 🙌🏼
The Best Eye Patches for Self-Pampering!
I purchased these after seeing so many ASMR videos pop up on my TikTok feed. They looked so cool and satisfying, and I wanted to try them for myself! I am always looking for ways to pamper myself, and these are the perfect product for giving yourself a facial or just for making your routine feel a little more extra. These patches are great and don’t slip around on your face, which make them perfect for wearing while doing things around the house! I definitely notice that my under eye area is less puffy after using these. At $24 they are a little pricey for a drugstore skincare product, but they come with 30 pairs of patches which should last a while! I definitely recommend for anyone who loves a little extra pampering.
Best Fragrance Free Eye Patches
[Review] Good Molecules Caffeine Energising Hydrogel Eye Patches Key Ingredients: 1% Caffeine, Licorice Extract, Peptides, Aloe Vera, Niacinimide. No fragrance and Essential Oils The hydrogel patches are smooth, soft but sturdy. It did not rip or tear when I picked it up with the spatula. I like how the eye patches actually sticks onto my skin and does not migrate away from my under eye area. However, it is a little big for my under eye area but, it can be used anywhere on your skin anyways. I love how the eye patches are generously soaked in the essence. There was still a lot essence left over when I removed the eye patches so, this can definitely replace your eye cream. The consistency the essence is reminds me of snail mucin but, not overly sticky. I like to use this in the morning because that is when my eyes are super puffy and swollen. As soon as I placed it on my under eyes, it felt super refreshing and cooling. I was really surprised at how effective this was for reducing my puffiness. It wasn’t like a significant reduction in puffiness but, I did notice a difference. The appearance of my under eye looked a lot more smooth and plump. I definitely looked more ‘awake’. Also, the essence provided the right amount of hydration. Overall, it is another outstanding product from Good Molecules and I really don’t have anything bad to say about it at all. These eye patches are by far my favourite products from Good Molecules. Good Molecules are always full of surprises when it comes to their new releases. Kindly gifted by brand

Look wide awake
The new Caffeine Energizing Hydrogel Eye Patches help you look awake, youthful and refreshed. When I first took them out of the container I admit I thought they were on the slippery side. But if you let some of the serum drip off they are easier to handle. You get 30 pairs and they are vegan and fragrance free. *gifted but love is genuine

Highschool Carry Ons: Skincare the Korean Way
I’m back. So if you aren’t a follower of my Twitter (the main one, not my personal), yes, I am a high school student. With high school, comes the summer where the school’s AC doesn’t work, staying after school at the library, studying late nights at academy, having to go to sports practice, etc. If you go through any Korean’s bag, you will definitely find a makeup bag, and high schoolers are no exception. We carry around a lot of stuff. When we are studying all day long it’s not a pretty sight… but we can make that sight look a little bit less… shitty. Here are some of the products that I carry around with me. 가시지요~~~ I have talked about most of these product before, so I’ll just do a quick run down of each. First, the OnDay - Lipping Gold Flower Lip Glow. For school, I used the Red Flower, which moves out a bright pink-ish color. There are pure 24K gold flakes and the flower for aesthetics and the color changes according to your body temperature. It has a peachy flavor and the color is long lasting. The Laneige Two Tone Tint Lip Bar comes in 8 shades and my favorite is No. 4 Fruits Candy Bar. It’s a lip balm and a tint in one with ingredients that can be found in the LANEIGE - LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask Great for the two tone gradient look that I like the look of, and if you want a full color all over, just blend the inner tint onto the rest of your lip. I’ve only had to touch up once or twice, but that was after 8 hours of wearing it. The next lip product I need to use before school (I don’t carry this around with me) is Laneige’s Lip Sleeping Mask. It’s strawberry flavored and if you use it in the morning, your lips won’t be chapped all day long. The last of the products I’ve already talked about is obviously a sunscreen. The AHC - Natural Perfecting Double Shield Sun Stick SPF50+ PA++++ with a green, color correcting tint. Of course you should always replace it every 2 hours but that’s no problem with this once because it’s a company stick which doesn’t leave that nasty shiny and sticky look and feel. Alright. Now onto the two products I’ve never talked about the SAEM - Iceland Hydrating Eye Stick for puffy eyes First off, the packaging is super cute. I mean. THE LITTLE BEAR!!! Ok. All cute things aside, no like I can do that easily, but I will try. This stick has a cool, hydrating, and soothing effect when you apply some under your eye. Wakes you up right away and has a nice scent. Works even better if you but it in the refrigerator before you grab it and toss it in your bag. This next product, you should also leave in the fridge to cool before you pack it away. It’s the ST. Ives - Hydrating Face Mist Orange Admittedly, not my favorite, I usually use another face mist, but recent circumstances caused me to have to buy this one as a temporary replacement. It is hydrating and has a fresh citrus scent, so I am not disappointed. It’s a cheaper alternative. There are some items in my makeup bag that I didn’t put on this list, but once I get the products I use on a daily basis, I will make a post on what I carry around with me daily. These are just products I’ve been using since the quarantine pandemic begun. Hopefully this post gave you more accessible alternative to create a makeup bag for not only high school but your day in general.

The Face Mask for Men
Let’s admit it...Men’s skin tends to be a bit rougher than women’s and may need a little more care. Well, that’s the case for me, anyway. So when I stumbled upon the amazing face mask that is the Bro Mask by Jaxon Lane via Instagram...I had to give it a try! The Bro Mask is a 100% hydrogel sheet mask designed to give you that man glow packed with hydration, Vitamin B3, collagen, peptides, and 9 plant extracts scientifically proven to improve the appearance of the skin. The texture of the mask feels weird at first, but you get use to it. Just be careful not to rip the mask. I like the fact that it comes in two separate pieces. I have a beard so I use the lower piece on my neck, especially after shaving to calm the skin. The mask definitely leaves your skin hydrated with a nice glow. I just wish the mask didn’t leave a gel like residue when it’s time to take it off. I do recommend it for the man that wants to start taking better care of his skin. Each box contains 4 single use face masks. It’s worth the price.

Avo- goodness 💚
Glow Recipe Avocado Melt Sleeping Mask This is targeted for all skin types to be used as a wash off mask in the evening or a sleeping mask. This is not to be confused with the retinol version that was later released, this does NOT include retinol. As a matter of fact when I repurchased this, I had to order it directly from the Glow Recipe website because I couldn’t find any other sites that carried it. I originally purchased this at Sephora when it was first released however they only carry the retinol version now. The texture is what I would consider to be creamy, it’s not necessarily thick. It is very moisturizing on the skin. Honestly, I have never used this as a wash off mask because its too precious for that LOL. I really love what this does for my skin, I apply this as the last step of my PM routine and wake up with baby soft skin. Once I ran out I immediately repurchased this directly from Glow Recipe. I have been using this product exactly one year now and it’s one of the best sleeping masks I’ve used to date. Sure, I have other ones that I enjoy but I keep coming back to this one. This retails for $45.00 U.S. dollars on the Glow Recipe website and although it’s pricey I feel like the results are worth it. I’m really happy with the results this product provides and maybe I’ll get fancy and try the retinol version in the future but for now I’m in love with the original Avocado Melt Sleeping Mask 🥑💚
