AM I DOING THIS WRONG ?! 🥴
Along with everyone else, I’ve been gushing about Selena Gomez’ Rare Beauty line. The packaging, colours and purpose behind the products is all beautiful. I was so excited to get my hands on the soft-pinch blush, for me fall is the perfect time to switch over from a glowy bronzer to a soft pretty blush. I got the matte finish in ‘Love’ which is described as a warm terracotta colour. I hate to be this person, but I’m not quite sold on this liquid blush. 💪🏼 |PERFORMANCE| I honestly found this so difficult to apply, when following the website instructions to remove the excess from the applicator then apply one dot to either cheek I legit had clown cheeks. It’s truly SO pigmented. Also I have a lot of texture in my skin so I found that the product sometimes sat very obviously in my pores and it wasn’t easy to buff out. I started applying it by removing as much from the applicator as possible then lightly brushing a powder brush across it to pick up as little product as possible and THEN applied that to my cheeks. 🤲🏻 |TEXTURE| Creamy texture that buffs out to a lightweight powdery feel 👃🏻|SCENT| Normal cosmetic scent 💦 |INGREDIENTS| This formula contains a blend of lotus, gardenia, and white water lily to help soothe, calm and nourish skin. Its vegan and cruelty free and is also free of sulfates SLS and SLES, parabens, formaldehydes, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, triclosan, and triclocarban 💸 |VALUE| This blush goes for $26 CAD for 7.5ml, with the amount of pigment in this blush 7.5ml will last you forever. I would like to try this blush again in a softer colour, and give it another chance. But for me right now, it’s not worth it for how challenging it is to apply evenly. Have any of you tried the blush ? What did you like/dislike about it? Rare Beauty - Soft Pinch Liquid Blush

Rare Beauty Best-Of Products!
I made the plunge and purchased products from Rare beauty, and I was pleasantly surprised with the formulation and wear of all the things that I got. These products I can see myself using time and time again, and are really exciting new releases. If you’re looking for a mid-priced product with good results you can expect each time, this is a good pick for you! I’m really excited about this brand. My favorite from the brand is Rare Beauty - Brow Harmony Pencil and Gel which combines a great pigmented setting gel and feather/brow stroke pencil all in one package. What more could you want for brows? So far, (I’ve used it three or four times) I like this more than Glossier and Anastasia brow products..! One of the first things I wanted to try was the Rare Beauty - Positive Light Liquid Luminizer which I got in the shade “enchanted”. The colour is a pretty rose gold/blush that’s not too metallic or fake looking on skin, but gives a cute more cool-toned pink glow. It is a true liquid to powder feeling product, doesn’t accentuate texture or pores, and dries down fairly quickly without budging but gives you enough time to blend in. Also looks great on the body! Rare Beauty - Soft Pinch Liquid Blush both in joy and love are both really pretty and pigmented shades. I mixed them together to get a cute looking red sun kissed vibe, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. A little goes a long way, so even with these minis I can see them lasting for awhile. They dry quicker than the highlight, so I recommend applying and blending on one cheek at a time for best results. It sets natural/matte, and doesn’t accentuate pores or dry skin. I really enjoyed the Rare Beauty - With Gratitude Dewy Lip Balm even though with the pigmentation it applies more like a lipstick! I would definitely line when using this product in the darker shades. It’s super moisturizing and creamy and a true crème lipstick, so eating with this it will disappear or smudge. I got it in the shade Support, and it’s perfect for fall with all its warm-brown goodness. I also loved the Rare Beauty - Lip Souffle Matte Cream Lipstick which I have in the shade Affirmation. It’s a warm red-berry color, which I think looks divine on all lip and skin tones. It smells delicious (like coconut vanilla) and dries down and sets without being drying on the lips. It applies creamy with no patching or feathering, and I didn’t feel like I needed to line separately with this, I just used the nice sharp applicator! It stains lips, so even if it wears off lips will have a nice shade to them. There are so many cute sets too for the holidays which provide an array of products to test out for less money, and in cute minis too. One I really like is the Rare Beauty - Best of Rare Beauty Lip & Cheek 2 Piece Mini Duo which has two of my fav products in lovely shades.

Fenty Cream Blush Review, Swatches, & Looks
I purchased 2 of the FENTY BEAUTY - Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush recently. I had at least 5 of them on my Sephora wishlist, but ultimately decided I should pick colors that are more unique to my growing cream blush collection. I chose the shades “rosé latte” (browny-rose) and “cool berry” (cool mauve-berry). “Cool berry” has some shimmer in the pan, but it barely translates on the face. Both leave skin with a dewy finish, though the product does mostly dry down. You can always put a bit of powder on top so the product is fully dry. Both wear decently well throughout the day, and fade gracefully after about 8 hours, though will still be visible (at least on me) for 10+. Longevity can be increased by setting with a tiny bit of powder or a powder blush. They are both pigmented but sheer out once applied, and can be easily and quickly built up, making these good for a variety of skin tones. This collection features a bunch of beautiful shades - including some “unconventional” ones like a hot orange and lavender. There’s something in this line for everyone, which is what I love about Fenty Beauty. I included photos of myself with the blushes applied semi-heavy to my skin so you can see the color. No bronzer or highlighter. I love how they look! I can’t pick a favorite. I apologize in advance about the appearance of my eyes. I’m currently dealing with some sort of reaction and I can’t wear eye makeup 🥴 Did you pick up any of the Fenty blushes?! Leave a comment below if you did! $20 each About my skin: dryyyyyyy, wearing Undone Beauty concealer in “pink petal light” all over my face for a quick base. Still testing that so no rating yet. #CheriePartner

10/10 peachy goodness 🍑
Amazing. Great pigmentation, looks light on the pan but it’s nice and pigmented, adds a lovely flush of color. I personally like peachy and pinky blushes best on my skin tone, this is such a lovely color and it’s a nice formula! Very creamy for a pressed powder blush but doesn’t last as long as I would like. Also its kind of easy to over apply if you’re not careful since it’s so pigmented but it blends nicely. And how lovely is this packaging? 😍 for $8 couldn’t ask for more. The perfect powder blush❤️🤩
The CoverFx Monochromatic Blush Duos are hands down one of the best powder blushes I've tried. ✅Excellent pigmentation ✅Gorgeous aesthetic packaging ✅Compact with a mirror ✅The matte & shimmer give you options ✅Perfect pan sizes IMO ✅Talc, Gluten, Fragrance & Gluten-free (+more) ✅Heavy/sturdy packaging—doesn't feel cheap COVER FX - Monochromatic Blush Duo PLUS CoverFx is vegan & cruelty free. I am consistently impressed with the products I've tried from CoverFx. They don't get as much hype as "trendy" brands but they put out extremely high-quality products without high end prices. They deserve more hype 💯!

Rosy Blushing Cheeks with Glossier
I heard many great things about the Glossier products and wanted to try them out for myself (and I’m glad I did!). This Glossier Cloud Paint in Puff gives you the most radiant naturally flushed cheeks. I actually bought this blush cloud paint in the Covent Garden pop up store in London, but you can find this online via the Glossier website. It cost me less than £15 and would say I can see this lasting a long time so it’s worth the investment. It comes in a variety of different shades (6 in total!). I was trying to decide between this one and the Beam (a soft peach colour). Eventually, I went for the shade in Puff because the colour is a natural cool pink colour that makes you literally look like you’ve just blushed! If you have a somewhat olive skin tone like me, you’ll definitely suit this! The colour is super romantic and leaves your cheeks flushed with a healthy dewy glow. A little goes a long way - just one drop is enough to cover my entire cheeks! Some blush creams can double up as a lipstick, but I would say that this blush cream is only pigmented enough for the cheeks as opposed to the lips. I prefer blush creams to blush powders because it’s a lot less obvious! It’s super lightweight and glides on the skin really comfortably, perfect for those no-makeup makeup days! The Glossier product comes with a squeeze tube so is super easy and hygenic to apply. I add a dab onto my cheeks and blend it out with my fingers. It’s small and travel friendly! Just pop this into your bag and take on the go with you. Have you tried any Glossier products lately? What are some of your favourites?
*Rare Beauty* First Impression...
I’ve been waiting patiently for Sel’s makeup line to drop...I was so excited so I ran over to Sephora this morning and picked up a few goodies! 🤗 I was first SO intrigued by the eyebrow pencil + gel. It’s like two products in one! I saw her demo on Sephora and once I picked it up, I was immediately hooked! ✨ everything in this line is so unique and clearly well-thought out and planned! This blush is like no other! 1. you can easily build it up 2. you can easily blend it out 3. It’s highly pigmented 4. I think I like it better than my cloud paint 🤫 5. It comes in 2 types; matte or dewy! (I got matte) The foundation is really unique because you can tap a few dots on your face for an easy natural look! 👀 OR you can continue building it up for a more full-faced look. I’d say it has medium coverage! The line is vegan and cruelty free 🐰 it’s paraben free, dermatologist tested and made for all skin types! Most products are made with a Botanical Blend of lotus, gardenia, and white water lily to help soothe, calm, and nourish skin 💐 It hardly feels like wearing makeup. It’s like my brows but slightly better! (I only used a little). The foundation blends wonderfully and I love this pretty blush shade (bliss), it’s like a nude/pink. I *highly* recommend! 💗 p.s. the topper on the blush+foundation was made with the little ball for people with arthritis and lupus so it’s easily accessible 5/5 👏🏼

COLOURPOP did DAT
| Colourpop Tinted Moisturizer - $14 | Claims: hydrating (yes), oil-free tinted moisturizer with light-weight coverage (yes), that evens skintone (yes), and leaves your face looking health and fresh ( yes and YES ). This literally does exactly what it claims to do. It gives me the most dewy and even-toned complexion! It’s sheer coverage and you’re not going to be able to build up the coverage if you’re looking for medium coverage. The texture is sort of gel-like. It also lasts pretty long when I wear it (more than 8 hours of wear). I love it because it’s your skin, but better. I’ve recommended this to all my friends who’re looking for an everyday moisturizer and aren’t lookin to wear something heavy while on campus. Colourpop kiiilled it with this!
