Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF 50
Recently I read somewhere that putting sunscreen on your face every day should be as much of a habit as brushing your teeth. I couldn’t agree more! Wearing sunscreen year round on your face is going to make a huge difference in how your skin ages and even more importantly it’s going to prevent skin cancer. While it is a very important part of a skin care routine, it can be hard to figure out how to incorporate it daily. You also don’t want to wear a sunscreen on your face that feels greasy or makes you breakout. My solution to these problems was finding a great moisturizer that contained a high spf and could be used easily every day and in all seasons. A few years ago, I found dermalogica - Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50 Moisturizer
It helps improve skin while you’re wearing it with ingredients like antioxidant white tea, polyphenols, and polypeptides
Protects against both UVA and UVB rays (so important!)
Great for sensitive skin
Perfect for wearing under makeup
High SPF, your skin will thank you later!

DIY TINTED MOISTURIZER 💫
DIY tined moisturizer is one of my oldest tricks in the book! I’ve been doin it for years and it has saved me so much money and counter space because I can use products that I already own. It’s great for days off when I want a little coverage for my face but I want it to be quick, easy and natural. The products I’m using to make my tinted moisturizer are dermalogica - Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50 Moisturizer and Too Faced - Born This Way Natural Finish Foundation . How to! 1. Put a pea size amount of both your moisturizer and foundation on the back of your hand 2. Use a small makeup brush or Q-tip to combine together (I would avoid using your finger because of bacteria) 3. I use a foundation brush to apply all over my face and blend in 4. Finish with a setting powder, I love Glossier’s Wowder so that you’re not too shiny 5. You’ve got a little bit of coverage plus spf and you’re good to go!
My Morning Routine ☀️
VICHY - Pureté Thermale One Step Face Cleanser for Sensitive Skin This is the perfect AM cleanser for anyone with sensitive skin. Its a cleansing milk, it tones and removes eye makeup. It’s extremely gentle and hydrating and perfect to start off the morning without stripping the skin. Murad - Essential-C Toner My Cleanser already does the toning but if I feel like my skin is looking dull, I’ll add this in. It has Antioxidants and Amino acids that brighten my skin. Murad - Hydro-Dynamic Quenching Essence I’ve been using this essence for years. It’s extremely hydrating, And anti aging. It contains Glycolic acid for some resurfacing and essential oils. It makes my skin feel really smooth and supple. It’s lightweight and restores cell function to rejuvenate and plump skin while exfoliating the impurities, dirt, and oil that cause dullness and uneven tone. SUNDAY RILEY - C.E.O. Rapid Flash Brightening Serum I love the serum, I do have sensitive skin and some forms of Vitamin C can be irritating but not this one. It contains 15% THD Ascorbate Vitamin C, it’s brightening, clarifying, and has antioxidant properties. It also helps fight the first signs of aging caused by stress, lifestyle, sun, and pollution. It definitely has brightened my skin and made my skin tone more even. biopelle - Dark Circle Relief Cream 1 Percent Vitamin K Oxide I have the type of dark circles that are a blueish hue due to my veins being visible because I’m so fair. Vitamin K is an ingredient that helps blood clot, so it also helps blood vessels less visible. Aveeno - Absolutely Ageless Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 I’ve always preferred moisturizers with SPF, as opposed to using two separate products and Aveeno has always been a non irritating for me. The Absolutely Ageless contains antioxidants that help stimulate collagen and firm the skin and fights free radical Damage. It also won Allures Best of beauty Award. dermalogica - Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50 Moisturizer I switch between this and Aveenos SPF moisturizer. I recently got a small sample of this and wanted to try it out due to all the great reviews. It has Peptides, Antioxidants, Amino acids and fights off Free Radical Damage. It also has a lighter texture than Aveeno which I like for Summer. NATURE'S BOUNTY - Optimal Solutions Hair, Skin and Nails Gummies I use the Advanced version with 2x the Biotin. I definitely see a difference in my nails the most, they’re usually brittle and break very easily, but when I take these they’re much stronger. My hair also seems healthy and shiner. (Not in the pic) I also try to keep my skin products in the boxes to prevent oxidation.
This moisturizer has helped my skin- which needs moisturizer but only a light amount- so much. At first I was using too little so my skin was dry, then too much so my acne became more prominent, then I found the perfect amount and it keeps my skin fresh and moisturized! The consistency is a little jelly like and it cools down my skin so much. 4/5 (just because you have to toy around with the amount you use for a little)

LA ROCHE-POSAY - Cicaplast Baume B5 for Dry Skin Irritations This was my first La Roche-Posay product! It’s almost empty now and it has served me well. It’s a soothing and repairing balm. I bought it for it to help with my redness and help heal my scars after acne and blemishes. This helped me a little bit actually. And it was a good universal balm! It sunk in well into the skin without feeling heavy. Texture is like a normal cream. It’s not lightweight but not thick either as you can see on the picture. I think it’s worth it and would recommend for people with blemish prone skin or acne as a soothing balm or a healing one.

Hemp and Hyaluronic- great combo!
Months ago, while shopping TJMaxx, my daughter spotted this cream. She is all about CBD/Hemp and using natural, environmental safe products and we decided for $12 to give it a shot. She’s got acne prone, sensitive and combination skin. She’s got it all! 🙈 This worked great for her! It helped calm the redness and kept the acne breakouts at bay. It also kept her skin balanced, well hydrated. She used it at night. It has a very mild scent. What is it? A pampering night cream designed to supply rich nourishment and protection to your skin. This Night Cream harnesses the nutritional powers of the Hemp Seed oil to feed your skin when it needs it the most. The cream is also enriched with pure Hyaluronic Acid (HA), which forms a film at the surface of the skin offering an optimal hydration and Emulium® Mellifera, innovative emulsifier which adapts to climate and creates active textures, bringing moisturization and pleasure on application. Made in Israel. We haven’t found it priced as well as it was at TJMaxx and it’s tough to locate online. She’s since changed to a different moisturizer for both day and night PUREFORET - Centella Multi-Lotion But if you happen to be able to shop your local TJMaxx or Marshall’s and spot this it might be worth giving a try. 😉 Much ❤️🍒 #CherieCreator
An empty & a newbie, repurchased edition 🌸
Today I want to tell you about my current favorite daily “it does what it’s supposed to do” moisturizer. It’s kind of no-nonsense, overpriced k-beauty that’s not cruelty free—but let’s get into why I repurchased it. Product: belif - The True Cream-Moisturizing Bomb I have really sensitive skin that is prone to acne rosacea, sebaceous filaments, and cystic/hormonal acne. My daily AM moisturizer needs to be something no-frills that won’t upset my skin and will support other steps in my routine, not disrupt them! I had emptied one of these minis last year during the summertime and luckily had 2 more minis but even before I emptied those I purchased this backup. This moisturizer is just a great fallback for me when I’m not sure I want to go with a super heavy cream or a lighter gel moisturizer that day if you know I mean! Sometimes I need something right in the middle and this fits that bill. The texture of this really reminds me of a light hand cream! It soaks in in a few minutes and you feel your skin BREATHE. They have another version of this that comes in a gel form with a minty fragrance and denatured alcohol that works great for me in the summer, but in my opinion this one is super basic which is sometimes what we need! I usually use this after my morning serum and before my morning facial oil if I choose to use one that day. I have never experienced any pilling or tightness while using this! If you’re at Sephora and looking for a basic cream, don’t mind cruelty free status, and into k-beauty I recommend this! However, since it is so basic (yet expensive—$22 for .84oz), and it’s not cruelty free, I must give it 4 stars.

AM moisturiser: Allies Of Skin Molecular Multi-Nutrient Day Cream. For most of the year, I don’t tend to wear a moisturiser in the AM. A serum and SPF is usually suffice for my oily skin, unless I’m particularly dehydrated, or in need of some extra nourishment. In Autumn/Winter, as the temperatures start to drop, allies of skin Molecular Multi-Nutrient Day Cream slots in perfectly between a serum and SPF for a light layer of extra hydration. It’s also the perfect ‘day cream’ with the benefits it offers: Probiotics, Phospholipids and Ceramides restore/maintain skin barrier function + a healthy microbiome, Superoxide Dismutase + Green Tea and Licorice Extract offer antioxidant protection against free radicals. Black Tea and Persian Silk protect against glycation (which I need because I consume way too much sugar) and Niacinamide, Honey and Glucosides soothe the skin and reduce redness. It’s one of the most well-rounded formulas I’ve seen - and tried! The texture is a very light serum/gel/cream that is hard to describe - it’s lighter than the now discontinued All Day Mask. It sinks in almost immediately without contributing to oil production (as such, it’s probably more suited to normal-oily VS drier skins) and layers wonderfully with most products (I tend to avoid using silicone heavy SPFs on top to avoid pilling). The results? As with all AoS products, I love to use this on a particularly bad skin day with breakouts, which always feel significantly less angry after use. This product really excels in reducing redness + Inflammation, and although it’s anti-oxidant activity isn’t something I can activity evaluate, I trust it’s doing it’s job. A fab option for oily/acne-prone skins that appreciate light moisturisers. It works well at night too. 😉

For acne-prone and sensitive skin!!!
Dermasence Phytosabal Cream Its main feature is its cabbage palm extract which acts to inhibit the activity of the sebaceous glands. It keeps the skin shine free but not dry, clarifies skin with a tendency towards acne but is not irritating. It has a smooth texture, spreads well, and is absorbed easily. It has a light milky scent and is very soothing. It's suitable for oily, combination-oily, and acne-prone skin. Dermasence Refining Gel The synergistic and enhancement effect of its five-fold plant extracts helps to constrict capillaries. It also helps to soothe burning and redness. I use this blushing gel mostly in summer when my skin becomes sensitive and my face flushes easily, and it's really improved the condition of my skin. It's most suitable for sensitive skin and skin with broken capillaries.
