Tamanu facial oil 😍

I haven been looking for way to help my dark spots and hyper pigmentation and heard tamanu oil might help. So I thought why not try it out ? I bought this bottle off amazon for around $10 and have only been using it for about a week and I love it! I use it as my final step in my skincare routine at night and I feel like I have seen a slight lightening in my dark spots. This oil also feels so luxurious and leave my skin feeling soft.
I personally don’t mind the feeling of oil on my skin but if something like that bothers you I would not recommend. It also dose have a slight green color so if you have white pillow cases it might stain a little bit ( i just put a soft cotton shirt on my pillow to avoid stains). But over all 10/10 would recommend!

Night Time Routine 🌙💫
Mario Badescu Vitamin C: I love love love this product. I use it almost every night and I can see some of my scars of pimple scars go away. I only put three drops on my face because I feel my skin become oily if I put too much. My favorite part is that there is no strong odor to it. Mario Badescu Seaweed Night Cream: This is the first time I used it and wow! Love the feeling of it. It’s light and my face feels extremely smooth. Not too much of a fan for the smell because it’s a bit strong but will continue to use. Mario Badescu Protein Night Cream: This is more for people with dry skin. I feel like a bit goes a long way. It’s very very heavy. I have oily skin so I can feel the product being too much for my face. I use it mostly in the winter or when I feel my face being a bit dry.

Leo Oil by @leowithcancer on Instagram/leooil.me
Leo Oil by @leowithcancer on Instagram/leooil.me
I've been following Dena @leowithcancer on Instagram for quite a while, and you can't follow her for long without finding out about her handmade skincare products business where she makes and sells the instagram (or skinstagram, rather) cult favorite product Leo Oil (that I have pictured) as well as several other things as well (you can find and purchase these by going to the website leooil.me or astroils.com - both go to the same place)! Now that I've introduced the product, let me tell you why I love it. First of all, Dena never makes any actual claims about Leo Oil, BUT the ingredients used to formulate each bottle are shared publicly (meadowfoam seed oil, rosehip seed oil, & blue tansy oil) and are known to "act as a moisturizer that also treats & heals irritated skin." I, personally, use it as the very last step of my nighttime routine to seal in moisture and to help relieve any irritation. Also, I and many others (according to Dena when asked about responses from Leo Oil users) have found Leo Oil to be quite beneficial and helpful for treating acne! Blue tansy oil (one of the ingredients in Leo Oil) is "a powerful anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-inflammatory," says Dena when asked if Leo Oil helps with acne at all. The texture is that of a standard skincare oil, and I've also included a photo of what a few drops of the oil looks like so you can see its texture & color. I've been using Leo Oil for months and have been in love with it ever since I first started using it. I don't hesitate to give it a full 5-star rating. I would and do most definitely recommend this oil to anyone and everyone; even those with oily skin can benefit from having an oil in their skincare routine! Lastly, the price may seem a bit high to some people, but if you keep in mind the fact that each bottle is handmade and hand-packed and shipped, I think you'll agree with my opinion that the price of Leo Oil and all of Dena's products are quite reasonable after all. I hope you now see why Leo Oil is my fave oil for acne & overall! 😌

Facial Oil Serum Hybrid for Acne!
Facial Oil Serum Hybrid for Acne!
This is the Some by Mi Miracle Serum. It is a serum-facial oil hybrid. It contains tea tree extract and centella asiatica to calm and treat acne prone skin. It also contains AHAs, BHAs, and PHAs to gently exfoliate the skin to leave it glowing and prevent future breakouts. The serum claims to deal with pore care, skin brightening and also moisturize. This product has two layers, with an oil and the serum. To use, shake the bottle and use the dropper to apply. It’s super watery and leaves an oily feeling behind, similar to the feeling of using a facial oil. I was super skeptical of this product originally. I have very sensitive skin, and ingredients like tea tree usually are too harsh for me to use with exfoliants like AHA and BHA. Surprisingly, this product was pretty gentle and has not broken me out so far. Overall, I do like this product, I think that it has worked well to clear up my skin slightly. I do think that committing to the full range may be too much for my skin considering that the serum is pretty powerful. I think that if I were to say one thing from the line is worth it, I would recommend getting the serum.

Inexpensive Serum for Hyperpigmentation
Inexpensive Serum for Hyperpigmentation
If you are looking for an inexpensive Vitamin C serum that works to brighten hyperpigmentation, then the Vitamin C Serum by Laguna Moon is for you! This serum claims to improve pores, dark spots and uneven skin tone, and dullness and uneven texture. I do have some hyperpigmentation and scarring from acne, and I believe that this serum has improved it over the past couple months. I use this right before I moisturize in the morning. As you can see in the second photo, the texture is very liquidy since it is a serum. I put a few drops into my hands and press it into my problem areas, which are the sides of my face. It dries down instantly, does not feel sticky, and the slight scent that it has in the bottle dissipates immediately. For about $10 on Amazon, you cannot go wrong with this product or at least trying it out. It has caused zero breakouts or issues (although I always recommend doing a patch test first), so I definitely recommend this! I really believe that this has slightly improved my hyperpigmentation, so for that, I give it 4/5 Stars!

K-beauty OBSESSED
K-beauty OBSESSED
I absolutely love its skin! I’ve been using these for a few months now alternating between depending on my skins condition that day and I have to say, I am obsessed. I believe there are 9 total, Power 10 Formulas, I have 4 but couldn’t find my Formula VE Effector for the picture 🤷🏻‍♀️ • • • First, these are incredibly inexpensive and high effective which is a rarity. I have combination skin that’s acne prone and dryness, redness and texture changes daily. So I love a product line that can be interchanged based off the concerns of the day. • • • Q10 Effector (orange one)- this helps with overall elasticity and energy of the skin. I’ve been using this daily as my skin prep before priming and foundation and makes foundation look like actual skin. I love how my skin looks! • • • GF Effector (teal)-this has natural moisturizers for the skin to help nourish dry and overly sensitive skin. I like to lather this on before bed after my night time routine. My skin feels soft and refreshed in the morning. • • • LI Effector (purple)- this has licorice in it and helps with redness and skin texture. My skin gets a little red and blotchy from time to time and this helps TREMENDOUSLY. • • • VE Effector (Pink, not pictured)- it’s great for bright and glowy skin. I used this as skin prep for a pregnant makeup client and she demanded to know where I got it because it gave her the pregnancy glow she’s been lacking.
